Customise value of P V

Hello,
I have a static text which shows the value of region selected fom the region prompt in my report
like if APAC is selected it will show Region=APAC.
The problem is when no value is selected i.e when we come to the page first time.since there is no default value for the prompt it shows the value as
@{Region}.
What i want is to instead of showing @{Region} i would like it to show All.i.e. instead of showing Region=@{Region}
we show Region=All
There is no region like All, so cant add in query.
Using obiee 11g.

Yes, you can do this by assigning a default value to your presentation variable. Open your dashboard promtp, and look for your @{Region} variable. Replace this with @{Region}{'All'}

    We need atleast 4 Value categories:
    1. Tcode: OPI1
    Maintain 4 value categories e.g. 1300,1301,1302,400 and 410
    For 1300, 1301, 1302 Select statistical key figure with total values.
    For 400 select Costs.
    For 410 Select Revenues.
    2. Tcode KAH2: Create Cost element Groups.
    e.g PSCost: assigne all the cost relvent cost elements to this group
    PSREV: Assign all the revenue relevent cost elements to this group (Cost element category:11)
    Step:3 Tcode:OPI2.
    Assign PScost to 400
    Assigne PSRev to 410
    3. Tcode CJVC, Check consistency for the value categoy assignments
    4.Tcode KK01: Create statistical Key figure. e.g 10, 20,30 for the Controlling area.
    5. Tcode OPI5:
    Assign these 10,20,30 to 1300,1301,1302 respectively.

    In my project there is a requirement to have the variable selection(To and From values) for 0FISCPER infoObject. Currently last day of every month the selection has to be changed manually to take data out of BW. Now client wants to make it automated. Could any one please suggest the solution . If any one has faced the similar situation then please guide me. It is very urgent.

    You can use the standard selection option variable and ask the users to enter the wild character before and after the input value.
    For example, if the user enters 'INT' , then report output would show all values which has 'INT'.
    However, the users would be seeing all the values in the master data or posted values in the transaction data ( as per the setting ) and not customised values as per your requirement.

  • Selection for infoobject with TEXT

    Hi All,
    I have an infoobject ZCustomer which is having a navigational  attribute 'ZROLE' which may have concatenated text value. eg., LOC_INT or INT or LOC_PIC.
    Now i have to keep selection/filter to the report where user should have a selection option/drop down with values 'LOC', 'INT' and 'PIC'.  If the user select the value 'INT' then i should show the report for only 'LOC_INT' and 'INT'.
    To say shortly its like contains pattern in the abap.
    so for the above user selection, which ever the customer's attribute value has the string INT  only should be dispalyed in the report.
    Note: I can use WAD reports if needed. The list of values 'LOC', 'INT' and 'PIC' can be the static list we maintatin for the user to select. bcoz i dont have any particular infoobject with these values.

  • Custom seach help for standard field in Web dynpro application

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement in SRM portal where in I have a to add a custom search help to the 'WBS_ELEMENT' field in the the 'ACCOUNT ASSIGNMENT' tab of the Shopping cart creation screen with some input parameters on the search help.
    As the SRM Shopping cartcreation screen is a standard web dynpro application.
    Can anyone help me in this regard for addition of search help for a field with some custom fields in the Search help screen.
    Any inputs will be very helpful.

    Hi Ahmed,
    If it is an standard application then you will have to do ENHANCEMENT in the component. And for using customised value help you will have to declare attribute in CONTEXT and dynamically change the binding of the Value property of UI element inside post-method of WDDOMODIFY. You can create your own customised value help for newly added attribute.

    Currently I'm using WLS 5.1. We used SNMP to monitor the java program running on

    We have another java program running, but not on WLS. Can we use WLS SNMP to monitor
    and trap
    the performance threshold using customise value?

  • Planned values of profit centers not showing up in customised report painte

    Hi,
    I made a customised profit center report via report painter.  I have already uploaded planned values in KP06.  In the customised report painter, the record type is "1" (plan) and version is "0" for actual/plan.  The columns for the planned values do not show any figures.  But when I generate std SAP report S_ALR_87013340 - Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance, it shows the plan values.  In that way, I know that the cost center upload is correct.   
    Please advise on how to show the plan values on the report painter.

    ahhh...the fact that you can see the actual values has made me realize what the problem might be. GLPCP and GLPCA (actual line items) use different fields in regard to the period. I assume that you are utilizing the POPER characteristic to select the periods....correct?
    In that case please try the following: copy library 8A3 into the customer name space (I would always base customized reports on your own library). In your copy activate the RPMAX characteristic. The re-create your report based on the new library and make the following changes: use RPMAX in the general selection and only use POPER in the column definition for the actual values. That should work.

    Your logo is an image. Details on adding and working with images in Numbers can be found in Chapter 9 of the Numbers '09 User Guide.
    Rows are part of a Table. I'm not certain what you are referring to when you say "adjust rows," but the details regarding adding, removing and changing rows are in the "Working with Rows and Columns in Tables" section of Chapter 3, Using Tables in the Numbers '09 User Guide.
    Adjusting values is done by entering new values, or by revising the formulas that create values. This is also conered in the User Guide in Chapter 4, Working with Table Cells.
    The Numbers '09 User Guide is free, and may be downloaded via the Help menu in Numbers. If you intend to create Numbers tables (or to modify formulas), you may also want the iWork Formulas and Functions User Guide, available from th same location.
    For anyone new to Numbers (and for old hands as well), I recommend reading at least the first four chapters of the Numbers guide. The rest can be kept to use as a reference as needed.

    some of our users are asking if it is possible to customise the Select Value screen when filtering characteristics.
    In some cases they would prefer to have the History option as starting point, in other the Single Values.
    Is there any possibility how to maintain this in general for a characteristic?
    Is there any table where this is stored.
    Could users change their starting point individually?
    We are on Netweaver, SAP GUI patch 9, BEx patch 7.01.

    required change is:
    Open a query, Select Values for Variables popup appears, Choose the "Select from List" option to open the Select values dialogue box.
    This box is opened as standard with History. I would like to know if there is the possibility to open it with Favorties or Single Values instead and if this can be customised for each user.

  • Fields of the material BOM are overwritten by values from customising.

    I have the an issue wherein I am trying to update a material BOM, and I pass a blank value to REL_COST (or SANKA ) in item. But somehow in the function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN it gets defaulted to X while posting the BOM update.
    When I use the function module CSAP_MAT_BOM_CREATE to create BOM it works fine. I see there is OSS note 1012556, but looks like it is valid for different function module CDESK_BOM_WIZARD, which is relevant to my scenario. However that function module is for dialog mode and not released yet.
    I pass below values to T_STPO structure, rest all fields are initial.<br />

    I have this same issue.
    I found a workaround, passing "!" instead of space when I want to reset fields such as cost relevancy, text1 and text2.  My issue is on CSAP_BOM_Maintain.
    So for your solution, you just call the same function 2x with same values?

  • Customisation for PO Release (different Values for different Doc Types)

    Dear Experts,
    I need to configure for PO release procedure where in the Characteristics would be Plant (2 Plants), Doc Type (3 types - Standard PO, Imports PO & Capital PO) and Value (2 stage release: 0-100000 & >100000 INR for Std PO, 0-200000 & >200000 INR for Imports PO and 0-300000 & >300000 INR for Capital PO).
    Please let me know where I shoud define the different Values for different Docs for the Release procedure to work properly.
    Or let me know the entire procedure for achieving the same.

    You have to create different CLASSes in IMG with the possible combination of different characteristics,
    EX. CLASS EKKO11 - Plant A, Doc type- Std PO, Value- 0-100000 & >100000 INR
          CLASS EKKO22-  Plant A, Doc type- Import PO, Value-  0-200000 & >200000 INR
          CLASS EKKO33-  Plant A, Doc type- Capital PO, Value-  0-300000 & >300000 INR  and same for other plant
    then assign these classes to the respective Release group.

    I have a requirement to develop a report to send out a list of all IDOCS loaded/failed on SAP with the segment values segregated .
    for EG : I would need the corresponding values  of  E1EDK02 - BELNR , E1EDK14-ORGID,E1EDP01-NETWR ,E1EDP26-BETRG
    Do any of you guys have such a report or something similar to the same ?

  • Default search value for Query By Example Report

    Is there any way I can add the wildcard % as a default search value for text fields in the customization screen for a QBE report? The aim is to relieve the user from knowing that you have to input the wildcard % in the search field.
    Also, Is there a way to change the label of the standard 'Close' button, which is a bit misleading as it actually takes you back to the report customisation window?

    You can give default values for bind variables in sql report and not for QBE reports. Also it is not possible to remove the close button.

  • How can I customise Thunderbird message columns to show sender raw address (not display name) and the "Received for" email address that was used to reach me?

    I find it increasingly important to be able to see a sender's actual email address rather than just display name, as they usually don't show a company name - which a domain always would. Is there a way to customise settings/write a script/tweak files to add raw email & domain name columns? When dealing with a number of people at the same company it is hard to order or glance through a list of emails to find them. I also know 2 people with the same name at different companies and it is impossible to distinguish!
    Secondly, as a related column addition, since a number of email aliases reach me it would be useful to have a column to show the "Received..for" part of the message source which reveals the actual email used in the To/CC/BCC which led to me. Again can this be tweaked or scripted?
    I have programming experience but have not made add-ons and would be open to a suggestion which involves creating a custom add-on if adding columns with custom values is possible that way.

    Extended message headers can be searched from Edit/Find/Search Messages, or the folder context menu, by adding custom headers to the search criteria. So, you might be able to create a search on specific properties of a message.
    The method of adding custom headers to searches is the same as the one described here for filters:

  • Is there a way to automatically populate a text box with its text's colour values (RGB, CMYK, etc)?

    I'm trying to work a little faster and since Kuler now syncs into CC, I'd like to know if there is a way to colour text from a text box and have this text change automatically depending on the values of the swatch I selected.
    It should work more or less like metadata, or variable text: you can customise what value will appear
    I'm almost 100% sure the answer is no, but it can't hurt to ask.
