Customize BC shopping cart

Hey everybody, I'm learning more and more about the customization of E-commerce. I'm currently trying to customize the shopping cart template in "module templates" (as well as "single item small)". I got everything working the way it should but I don't know where to even start when it comes to making it look good i.e. colors, background colors positioning etc. I hope that some one can help me and thanks to all in advance.

Basics css will work.

  • How is the follow-on doc triggered from shopping cart in SRM 7.0?

    Hi!
    We are on SRM 7.0 and want to make a solution where we create a PM order (Work order) as a follow-on document in backend instead of a Requisition or PO. There are desciptions on how to change document type and function using BADI's for the older SRM solutions, but this does not seem to work in SRM 7.0.
    Right now we have customized the system so a Requistion is created in backend and that works fine.
    Next step is to find a BADI to replace the call to BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE  with a Work order BAPI  call  (BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN),
    I have tried to debug the process in Web Dynpro from the Shopping Cart where I press the 'Order' button', but never get to a point where the BAPI is called. It only seems like the shopping cart is saved in SRM tables and that the Workflow for approval process is started. We do not use the approval Workflow and the SC gets the status 'Approved' immediately.
    When I monitor the shopping cart I can see that it gets the status 'Follow-on document created' about one minute after the Approved status, and that also makes me wonder if the transfer of the SC to backend is done in a batch job, from a Workflow program or anything like that - and not from the Web Dynpro method calls behind the Order button.
    Does anyone know the technical details of the solution of the follow-on document creation in SRM 7.0?
    Where is the triggering done??
    Regards, Tine

    Hi Ricardo!
    Thanks for you reply. So this means we have to create a kind of batch job with a program which runs FM BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER  ? How can we avoid that the original backend document is not started in addition (the reqiusition which is set up in customizing) ? Is it possible to customize the shopping cart solution so it does not trigger any backend documents automatically - so we can take the complete control using this batch job mentioned?
    PS: Do you know exactly where the BAPI for the requisition is triggered in SRM 7.0? Would be nice to know after all my debugging with no results

  • How to Disable/Customize Search Help in Shopping Cart tables?

    Hi,
    Is there a way to disable/customize the search helps associated in a field within the Shopping Cart detail/items table? Eg. G/L Account field. I already tried disabling the Input Help in the Attribute associated with the field in the COMPONENTCONTROLLER but the seach help is still showing up.
    Please advise.

    Hello again,
    Prasanna is right: the easiest way to change the search help for certain fields is to use the WD-Exits, in this case use of the WDDOMODIFYVIEW exit by creating an enhancement implementation.
    Here can dynamically change the help-value for certain fields. I will give you a sample for accounting field G-L-Account:
    METHOD pst4es1711jmkl7v3y2nb6isgkme . "Exit of WDDOMODIFYVIEW (in ZENH_ACCT......
    data .....
    *--- set value_help
        lo_node1       = wd_context->get_child_node( 'COMP_CONTEXT' ).
        lo_node2       = lo_node1->get_child_node( 'ACCOUNT_DETAIL' ).
        lo_node_info   ?= lo_node2->get_node_info( ).
        CALL METHOD lo_node_info->set_attribute_value_help
          EXPORTING
            name            = 'G_L_ACCT'
            value_help_mode = if_wd_context_node_info=>c_value_help_mode-application_defined
            value_help      = 'USG_ACCTF4'.
    Hope this will satisfy your request. Have success!

  • Customize "Continue Shopping" URL in empty cart

    How do I customize the "continue shopping" URL. This would be after the shopping cart is emptied.
    Also, is there a way to customize the empty shopping cart page? Right now, its just a link on  an empty page. For exmaple, go here: http://dataimpressionsebeam.businesscatalyst.com/ add a product to the cart. Then clear the cart.

    Upon clearing your cart, you will go to the Shopping Cart empty page (currently there is no template associated) but as what Liam said, You can only edit this via CSS or Javascript. So if you look into the HTML file of the Cart empty page, you will see this:
    <div id="catCartDetails"><a href="/test-1" class="cartLink" target="_top">Shopping cart is empty. Continue Shopping.</a></div>
    What you can do is create a CSS style for
    #catCartDetails a { }
    You can also do a Javascript to change the text using the div id="catCartDetails"

  • FI data validation in shopping cart

    Hi,
    We are using SRM 4.0 (Server 5.0) and ECC 5.0 in the back end.
    We enabled the FI validation in back end system in SRM configurtion. While creating the shopping cart it is validating only the cost elements and G/L account are available in SAP. But it is not validating whether the combination of cost element is allowed in backend.
    For example: G/L account x can be used only against cost center. If we are using that G/L account against WBS element it is not giving any error message at the time of creating of shopping cart rather it gives an error while creating PR after approval.
    After the shopping cart has been approved it is not creating the PR. Using SRM monitor we need to change the G/L account to the correct one and retransfering it.
    Is there a way by which we can validate the above scenario at the time of creation of shopping cart itself.

    Hi,
    Please check the setting in cross application basic setting customization
    Cross application basic setting----->Account assignment----->Define the G/L account to be used based on prodcut category and account asiignment catgory
    There select new entries
    Enter = prodcut category ID
    Choose= the account assignment category
    Enter = GL Account
    Execute
    The above setting determines which G/L account based on the combination of Product Category ID and Account Assignment Category
    Hope it helps.
    Thanks

  • Rejection of Shopping Cart created as shop on behalf in SRM

    I have an issue regarding shop on behalf in SRM
    A shopping cart is created as shop on behalf and needs approval from a manager. If the manager rejects it, then the shopping cart is returned to the user that has been shopped on behalf of – not the user who did the shop on behalf. Is there a way to change this?

  • Finding/Developing a Database/Shopping cart system

    Hey everybody,
    Heres my predicament. I am the webmaster/designer of
    www.libertypromotions.com, a custom die-cast car company. We have a
    database of 20,000 clients who have all purchased from us before.
    Currently when we offer a product, clients can place an order
    online into a MySQL database, but after the sale, we have to
    manually import those same orders into an access database on our
    local machines. The process is time consuming, we have approx. 1000
    orders a month that we hand process this way. In addition to this,
    the products can only be purchased on the correct time, if they
    have purchased 10+ previous products than they can order day 1, 5+
    day 2, 1+ day 3 (or something to that affect) So evey month we
    recieve 1000 phone calls/email on how many times a client has
    purchased.
    So what I am looking for is this, A system where the client
    can log in, see their billing/shipping address, their CC on file,
    and their number of purchases. I also would like this to control
    sales, they have to login, and if they are in-eligible to order
    they are stopped before placing the order. I need it to be easy to
    use, customizable, and secure. At the same time, I need to be able
    to upload my current database, I would have 20,000 angry customers
    if I wiped out their current purchasing records. We also need it to
    function as a traditional shopping cart, with some sort of
    scheduling function based off of previous purchases (it may not be
    10+, it may be 30+, or never purchased, etc). I have some other
    features I would like, but I will discuss those more in depth with
    anyone who asks.
    So can anyone help me develop this/ develop this for me? I am
    willing to discuss payment options, and would like to get it
    completed by September if possible. Any and all help on
    developing/resources/ other ideas suggestions, would be greatly
    appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Print-out of shopping carts - add additional informations

    Hi SRM-experts,
    one simple question. Is it possible without modification to add in the print-out of the shopping cart additional informations such as the purchase order number. Is there a possibility to customize that function ? Thanks for yours replies.
    AW

    Hello,
    This will need small enhancement in the smatform. You will find it easy.
    Use T-Code SMARTFORMS and copy the standard smartform for SC layout "BBP_SC"  and create a Z-one and use that by implementing the BADI BBP_CHANGE_SF_SC.
    You can get the PO value from the table BBP_PDBEI.
    Hope this solves the issue.
    Thanks

  • Can anyone advise on how to get a shopping cart on iweb please

    can anyone advise on how to get a shopping cart on iweb please

    I would suggest using Pay Pal. If you sign up for a free business account you can use the merchant services to set up buy now buttons, add to cart buttons, and the shopping cart. The only draw back is that your can't customize the look to match your site. I would use pay pal for two reasons, people know and trust them and its much cheaper than having your own merchant account. Good luck

  • Shopping Cart going to Sourcing cockpit!!

    Hi Experts,
    We are in SRM 5.0 EBP 4.0 in extended classic scenario. In a particular scenario we find that the even after the Shopping cart was approved and the preferred vendor added by the purchaser, the shopping cart went into the sourcing cockpit ( the sourcing relevant indicator is active ) in bbp_pd.
    The PO number has not been reserved in bbp_pd.
    I find no alerts or messages for the same in bbp_pd,RZ20.
    What could be the reason for the same? Can any one provide me a corrective solution so that my problem is resolved and the Purchase order of the same can be generated and posted to the backend system ?
    Looking forward for expert comments !!
    With Regards,
    Rajesh Rajendran

    Hi Rajesh,
    Could you create an entry to the customize which mentioned above?
    Set 'Sourcing is never carried out' for respective product category, then it will create PO. (Although it is imcomplete PO).
    However if you are selecting the 'preferred vendor', then the system is only taking this as a suggestion for the purchaser. Since it is not a FIXED vendor, it will create incomplete PO at EBP side.
    Best regards,
    Shiro

  • Add Shopping Cart Number to Purchase Order Data in ERP system

    We would like to be able to send the Shopping Cart number to our ERP system so that it is visible on the Purchase Order details data.  What data / BADI would we have to use to transfer this shopping cart number to our ERP system?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Hi Jim,
    You need to create customize FM which can fill the shoping cart data and send it to R/3 backend system.
    e.g.we have one customize FM (ZBBP_CRT_PO_FILLPO) so  along with this FM you can call SC attributes to fill customize FM and will pass this information to PO created.
    Sachin.

    I will try help you with your two problems.
    Question 1. "I activate BC-Set in process control workflow and create Shopping cart, Still status is Awaiting Approval and when i check in BBP_PD the workitem (its blank) no workitem assigned."
    this problem is because the customizing not is correct. Follow this steps:
    1.- SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Business Workflow->Select Workflow Framework
    Check that Process-controlled workflow is active for all business objects
    2.-SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Business Workflow->Process-Controlled Workflow->Technical Configuration->Customize SAP Business Workflow Automatically
    Execute step by step. is aut.
    3.-Execute transaction SWDD; check that workflow WS40000014 exists...
    4.-SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Business Workflow->Process-Controlled Workflow->Technical Configuration->Generalize Tasks
    execute task for default
    5.-SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Business Workflow->Process-Controlled Workflow->Technical Configuration->Check Task Generalization
    check it "/SAPSRM/WF_CFG"
    6.- SRM Server->Cross-Application Basic Settings->Business Workflow->Process-Controlled Workflow->Technical Configuration->Copy BRF Objects
    class SRM_WF ; all objects; COPY
    7.-execute transaction SCPR20 and active /SAPSRM/C_SC_600_000_SP04
    8.- TEST NOW
    Question 2: "Create Shopping Cart and approve forcefully with Swo1 and now its in ordered Status but no follow on Document created,........When i goto RZ20(Shopping Basket) to analyze it , The system says Local Errors.............Shopping cart 3000000012: Error creating the follow-on document"
    CHECK this point of customizing, here is where you must indicate to system that follow on document create for the shopping cart...exist several options...

  • Creating limit shopping cart using catalogs in SRM

    Hi,
    Can we create "limit shopping carts" in srm using catalogs or we can only use it for free text items? how do we integrate catalogs for use in "create limit item"? is it standard or required any customization? please explain.
    Thanks
    Deepu

    Hi. What you could try is using BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.
    When SY-UCOMM = 'ADDI' that is when items are being added to the cart from a catalogue, presuming you have configured ADDI in your catalogue call structure.
    Then, you can try and change the item category to LIMI and see what happens.
    If that does not work (and I don't think it will be that easy) then you can create a limit item manually and debug the DOC_CHANGE BADI to look at all the item values to see what else might need assing in there.
    It might work, I have done some serious manipulation of items using this BADI.
    Regards,
    Dave.

  • Change Shopping Cart Workflow

    Trying to figure out a way to route the shopping cart back to the requestor at all points during the approval process. There are customizations made to the workflow such as a finance reviewer, a commodity approver, manager (org hierarchy) and a financial approver (for $50K+). Client wants shopping cart to come back to approver at any point. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

    Basically, what we want to do is to route the shopping cart back to the requestor at any point in the approval process. Commodity Approval is based on material group, Manager Approval is based on shopping cart amount and org hierarchy, CFO approval is based on shopping cart amounts over $500k.Approval amounts are nased on a Z-Table. Using workflow WS14000133 n-step approval of shopping cart (BADI)
    Thanks for the response so far! Let me know if you need any additional info MJ!

  • Make fields as mandatory on create shopping cart txn

    Hi,
    Is there a config available to define certain input fields on the create shopping cart txn as mandatory ? Requirement is to have a check in place to ensure all these fields are filled with valid values before the SC is saved.
    Thanks.

    Hi Masayuki ,
    I have tried to use this option earlier, but this just does not work !  We have a custom attribute which is required as a mandatory field. I made this as 'Required Field' using customization. By using this config, I do see an 'asterix' mark next to our custom field (which denotes a mandatory field) , however there is no error if I do not provide a value in that field.
