CVP integration with Nuance ASR/TTS server

need help here.
i am trying to integrate CVP 8.5 with Nuance ASR/TTS server (realspeak 4.5,NSS,rec 9.x). attached are the logs and script for a test call.
please help.

thanks for the reply. i have verified these settings already as i got it from developer.cisco.com discussion forum. my concern is what all changes i need to do in NSSServer.cfg. initially i made the chages related to MRCPv1 but when i ran debug mrcp client error and session i can see my gateway is trying to use MRCP version 2. other thing that i noticed in my NSS server log is, the sip stack is showing interface 0 ip as 0.0.0.0.
at this point i am not sure if its going to use MRCPv1 or MRCPv2. if its MRCPv2 then is it going to use SIP or RTSP. if its going to use SIP, what all changes are required in SIP configuration on NSSServer.cfg.
please suggest.

How to work in RH9 when project is integrated with TFS and TFS server is down

My RoboHelp 9 project is integrated with TFS/Visual Studio. The server went down yesterday and won't be back up until late today.
If I open the project locally (rather than from Version Control), how do I eventually get the latest files (those that I've worked on locally) into Version Control?

Hi,
I use the following method:
1.       Open the project and disconnect from source control.
2.       Modify any files you need. Be aware that when you add/rename/remove/move files, the RoboHelp control files are modified too. (.apj and .fpj)
3.       When TFS is up, check out the files using team explorer. Do NOT overwrite local files. (Make a backup first.)
4.       Using TFS, check in all modified files. Do NOT check in the XPJ file. If you do, the project will lose its connection with source control.
5.       Thrash the local project.
6.       Get the latest version from the server.
Be aware that this requires that you know what you’re doing. Especially when control files are modified. When you only modify the content of existing topics and check the existing topic in, you should be fine.

Integration with Corticon Business Rules Server

Has anyone integrated the Corticon Business Rules Server into BEA WL ? The CBR Server can be deployed as a stateless session bean, but I am not really sure hwo to integrate a session bean into WL. Maybe sonmeone can point me to the proper docs. If someone has used Corticon, it would be even better!

There are two ways you can do it.
1. Oracle Business Rules can be exposed as standard soap based web-services that can be consumed in OSB through Business Services. Proxy Services in OSB can call these BS created out of the rules services in their message pipelines.
2. Second option is to use DIRECT-BINDING to communicate between a Rule based Composite and OSB. Direct Binding optimizes the communication between OSB and SOA servers at the transport level.

Lync integration with Third-Party mail server's

Or it integrates only with Exchange Server?

Agree with Thamara. Exchange is the only platform supported for presence as well as voice functionality. The client uses EWS to communicate with the server to check calendar integration, nothing else is going to mimic this properly enough to
avoid issues.

Sun One Search Engine Integration with the Fatwire Content Server

Hello everyone,
I am presently using Fatwire(Divine) Content Server. I have uploaded certain documents using Fatwire flex attributes(metadata). I want to use portal search engine for implementing Full Text Search of uploaded documents. how can i map metadata(attribute) of fatwire/divine content server with the portal server search engine metadata.
I hope someone might have tried it earlier while integrating content server with the portal. please give me some suggestions in this regard.

Hi,
I don't know about the metadata mapping,
but you can definitely index the FatWire local
data directory with the search engine.
Just specify "file:///.../<fatwiredir>" as starting point for your search robot.

Oracle Reports Integration with iPlanet Application/Web Server

Do any body know if we can integrate Oracle Reports with iPlanet Application Server or Web Server?

Theoretically yes, in Reports 6i there is either a CGI or servlet to set up, in 9i there is a servlet interface.
In practice through this is not simple, at least in the 9i case, and with Oracle 9iAS a reports server comes configured out of the box.

Linux Integration with Mac OS X Server

I am planning out a network using Final Cut Server as an asset management tool. As media is ingested into the SAN, I want certain scripts to process the media files. The system will receive a vast amount of data every day, so those scripts will work a lot faster with a nVidia Tesla rack attached. From what I understand the tesla cards won't interface with the xServes due to EFI firmware issues (is that correct?). If that assumption is correct, my plan is to attach the Tesla cards to a Linux box and run the scripts there.
My question is whether OS X Server can set up agents on the Linux box or whether it has to essentially ssh into the Linux box and do tasks one at a time.

Just plug in an ethernet cable during the installation process. One of the requirements of server is access to primary ethernet as a common installation is performed headless. The only way to "ensure" network access is with ethernet as there are commonly no requirements other than plugging in a cable. Wireless most often requires authentication or at least selection of the desired wireless network.
Just get a patch cable and use it for the install. Once you have the install complete, set primary network to the wireless port and then disconnect the cable.

SharePoint 2013 on-premises integration with third party email account

the Email sending issue from SharePoint is causing too much time waste
First let me explain how our SharePoint is deployed
Sharepoint version : 2013
Deployment type : on-premise
Authentication : from Domain controller also hosted locally
domain name ; say domain.com this domain.com is same as our website address hosted on godaddy
SharePoint computer name on local DNS : sharepoint.domain.com
OS and IIS : 2008 r2 , IIS 7.5
Network firewall : 25 26 ports opened for sharepoint , both incoming and outgoing.
Server firewall : turned off
Email configuration Attempts by IIS 6.0
We tried following setting on IIS 6.0 SMTP local server properties
In General tab
qualified name was shown as : sharepoint.dts-solution.com
IP assigned : sharepoint server IP , advanced putted two entries of IP with ports as 25,26
In Access tab
Authentication : selected as Anonymous
Connection : All except below list : empty list
Relay : only the list below , one entry as 127.0.0.1 and other is local static IP of SharePoint server
in Delivery tab
outbound security : Basic authentication : accessed user in AD and given the right password, also checked with annonymous -not working
outbound connection: all default values and port = 25
Advance : fully qualified domain name = sharepoint.domain.com , DNS test showed success, rest every check box unchecked
On sharepoint central management settings
Outbound email = sharepoint.domain.com
from and reply to address = [email protected]
IIS 7.5 SMTP settings
In IIS 7.5 sharepoint application we added SMTP settings as smtp server = godaddy out going smtp , user name as [email protected] , password = godaddy password , port : godaddy outgoing port .

Our website hosted on godaddy with same name as domain.com
open relay not possible on emails.
Results
After setting alerts on SharePoint sites and assigning tasks with alerts we receive email in queue folder but they never get forwarded. We just wish to use any of our email *.domain.com to send outgoing emails from SharePoint . Its been a while we have no
success.

As I understand, you are using SharePoint 2013 integrating with third party SMTP server which provides email function.
From SharePoint side, I'd suggest you refer to the link below to configure email integration:

If you have already confirm that message is sent from SharePoint, while stuck in queue on SMTP server, then the issue might be related to relay on SMTP server. Since the issue is related to third party product, we do not have enough resource here,

CVP 4.0 / Nuance TTS Server

Hello,
In our environment we are using UCCE 7.2 / CVP 4.02 and a Nuance Text to Speech Server.
We are send data from UCCE to TTS Server through micro app.
It is working fine, but any time I try to send sepcific french letters (with accent), TTS server can not read the message correctly. I opened a case to Nuance, they do think that it comes from Cisco side. Does anyone have already face this kind of problem. Should I specify somewhere in CVP the encoding parameters I want to use ?

You can turn on mrcp logging on the gateway.
What's the rtsp setting on the gateway in "show runn".
Are you using a different language? Either set "setMainDocumentLanguage(STRING)" in your action element or set the Document Langage in your Application Modifier.
