D113 in Logs When Proxying in WebAccess

I have a user that has found an oddity that began when we upgraded to GroupWise 2012 SP1 (went from 8.0.2 HP2 to 2012.1). She has a resource that owns a lot of shared folders and needs to use GroupWise WebAccess to access the archived e-mails from these folders (Netmail Archive). Before the upgrade of WebAccess, she was able to login as herself, click Proxy, choose the resource, then click Archive to get into the archive. Now when she clicks Proxy, she clicks the resource, she gets this error:
"Your request could not be processed due to a connection failure with the server. Contact your administrator if the problem persists after re-login."
I granted myself rights to the resource and don't get this error, but WebAccess just sits on the Proxy page and blanks out the main portion of the page with the list of accounts. If I look at the logs for the post office where we all reside (resource included), I see this at the time that I try to proxy:
14:11:28 EDB2 Error: Domain not found [D113] User:CSIS-Resource (CSIS-Resource)
I found TID 7009124 (Support | Error:"D113 Domain not found") but it doesn't match our setup (we are running on OES2 SP3 and the Internet Domains are populated and match just fine).
I am able to proxy without error from the Windows client. I did just discover that this resource is unable to login to GroupWise WebAccess at all. There are no errors on the login screen but it just flashes and returns to the login window again. In the POA logs I see the following:
15:13:05 E6AF SOAP command:[loginRequest] requested from 10.x.x.x User session(csis-resource)
15:13:29 E6AF SOAP Action [getFolderListRequest] error rc=[8911]
I haven't found my WebAccess logs just yet to see if there is more detail in them (consultant put them in a non-standard location and it doesn't seem like they are writing properly). Any ideas why this could be happening? I can login to other resources on that post office through WebAccess without errors.

Perhaps this TID could point you in the right direction: Support | Proxing to Resource in WebAccess gives error D018, "Required User Database rights not granted"
Not the exact error you get but it might help!
Cheers,

  • Errors in Console.log when using OfficeJet 6210

Just ended a long, frustrating attempt to get support from HP regarding errors that appear in the console.log when scanning to PDF. They claim it's not their software -- The tech actually claimed that their software was thoroughly tested, ships bug-free and that it's 100% an Apple issue.
Here's what gets spewed into console.log:

    Hi, wbracken ,
As known, there are 2 different questions I raised.
Regarding the reply for the second one (Nothing to do with Chinese), I noticed there are several similar issues found in this forum, and it seems no response could solve my that problem. The related methods and classes were also well check, as well as the parameters put.
Any way, your reponse was appreciated.
    Thank you for the help.

  • When creating a tablespace why should we enable LOGGING when a database is already on ARCHIVE LOG mode

    Question :
When creating a tablespace why should we enable LOGGING when a database is already on ARCHIVE LOG mode ?
    Example:
    Create Tablespace
    CREATE SMALLFILE TABLESPACE "TEST_DATA"
    LOGGING
    DATAFILE '+DG_TEST_DATA_01(DATAFILE)' SIZE 10G
AUTOEXTEND ON NEXT  500K MAXSIZE 31000M
    EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL
    SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;
LOGGING: Generate redo logs for creation of tables, indexes and  partitions, and for subsequent inserts. Recoverable
Are they not logged and not recoverable if we do not enable LOGGING? What is that ARCHIVELOG mode does?

What is that ARCHIVELOG Mode Does?
Whenever your database is in archive log mode , Oracle will backup the redo log files in the form of Archives so that we can recover the database to the consistent state in case of any failure.
Archive logging is essential for production databases where the loss of a transaction might be fatal.
    Why Logging?
Logging is safest method to ensure that all the changes made at the tablespace will be captured and available for recovery in the redo logs.
It is just the level at which we defines:
    Force Logging at DB level
    Logging at Tablespace Level
    Logging at schema Level
Before the existence of FORCE LOGGING, Oracle provided logging and nologging options. These two options have higher precedence at the schema object level than the tablespace level; therefore, it was possible to override the logging settings at the tablespace level with nologging setting at schema object level.

  • Archive The Log When Full Disabled

Currently I'm having problem in setting up auto archive log for "Applications and Services Logs > Microsoft > Windows > Application Server - Applications > Debug", because the option is disabled (I've disabled the log to setup the properties).
Please take a look screenshot below:
How to choose "Archive the log when full, do not overwrite events"? Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,
"How to choose "Archive the log when full, do not overwrite events"?"
Generally , you need to enable logging then you can choose the action after the log size is reached .
If this machine is domain joined , you can edit the domain policy on DC :
computer configuration \windows settings \security settings \event log
The Retention method for event log policy settings determine the wrapping method for the application, security, and system logs .
    Best Regards

Thanks for helping make community forums a great place.
I've tried to enable the log and make the maximum size reached, but I still can't choose automatically archive log:
and also take a look a screenshot below, it is a different type of event (Operational) and it shows us that I can choose Archive the log when full without activating it and make it reach its maximum log size:
How to solve this issue? Thanks in advance.

  • SCCM agent writes endless lines to servicewindosmanager.log when maintenance window start or ends

    Hi

On many of our servers (2003 SP2, 2008 R2 SP1) the SCCM agent writes endless lines to servicewindosmanager.log when maintenance window start or ends. The log gets full in
less then a second then another log opens and so on!

    Thanks for any help!

Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up.
This is not normal, I would check the health of the server and I would also use WMIdiag to see if WMI is healthy.

  • Session gets lost when proxied through a server

    Hi,
Did anyone come accross loosing session valued when proxied by a server.
Does anyone have some work around for that?
    Please let me know.

If you use a JSP to generate your form, the following is possible.

  • ActiveSync packet is not delivered to CAS in other site when proxying is used

    Hi folks,
We have a peculiar issue here.
    Our setup:
    Exchange resource forest
BES 10 installation in SITE A
User with mailbox in SITE B added to BES 10
    We use Certificate Based Authentication'.
    Issue:
When user presents their authentication via ActiveSync to CAS in SITE A the request should be proxied to the CAS on the other site once the lookup for the user's home mailbox takes place. The activation on the BB10 device fails and requests the
user's password. I get an error in the IIS logs of SITE A. Nothing is recorded on the CAS in SITE B and wireshark logs show connections to the CAS array of SITE B but nothing is logged in the IIS logs:

This has been wrecking my head for the past 2 weeks!
    Any idea?
    Thanks

    Hi,
To narrow down the cause, I’d like to confirm the following information:
    1. Could other proxy requests be achieved successfully? You can try to use proxy to login OWA to have a test.
    2. Could all your ActiveSync come across the same issue?
    3. Check your ActiveSync configuration of your servers on both site A and site B:
    Get-activesyncvirtualdirectory |fl *url
    4. Is there any firewall in your environment?
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
    Thanks,

  • Mailbox very slow with direct login but ok when proxying

We have a large common departmental account monitored by multiple users (yes, shared account, not shared folder). When I log in directly to the account and select a folder it can take 10-15 secs to populate the list of items. Seems to apply to nearly every folder, even those with small numbers of contents (5-30 items), not just those with many items. If I log into my own account and proxy to the shared account then the folders also get populated fairly quickly (0.5-2sec). No problem with my own folders so sounds like its specific to the other account.
Connections are c/s only. C/s handler threads spend most of their time 0 busy with occasional bursts of activity that clear again
Message handler and soap threads seem to remain at 0 all the time
C/s requests pending remains at 0.
Problem occurs running client on XP and on Windows 7 64bit.
Have run GWCHECK to fix a few probs but problem continues. Appears to be just a problem with this one account but the key point is why the difference between direct logged-in and proxied?

No I'm not particularly bothered about the LOGIN time, that only happens once. The problem is the time to browse between different folders once login is complete. (sorry for the confusion, I 'll edit the OP to make it clearer).
    Good:
Login as self, proxy to uber-account, wait for completion. Then click on a random folder, wait for message list to be populated (network traffic completed <1s), GUI updated <1 sec, maybe 2secs if many messages in list. Same acceptable performance occurs when clicking on subsequent folders. Workstation CPU usage during update 1-2%.
    Bad:
Login as uber-account, wait for completion. Click on a random folder, wait for message list to be populated (network traffic completed <1s), GUI not updated for 10-15secs - all of the items refreshed together at the end of the period so to the user it looks like you've clicked on a new folder and the contents is the same as the previous until it suddenly refreshes after 10secs. Same problem occurs when clicking on subsequent folders. Workstation CPU usage during update 50% (dual core in this example, so probably maxing out one core for 10 secs).
No significant disk activity during update period. No significant network tfc after initial burst. Memory ok. No change of performance when anti-virus disabled. Same behaviour on other machines so not just one baddy. My money is it's something to do with the number of folders, or the number of shared folders owned by the uber-user, or a corruption the normal GWCHECKs aren't dealing with.

  • Why Are There Multiple Instances Of Firefox Preparing To Access Internet According To Firewall Log When I'm Not Launching Them And Nothing Appeared On My Screen

I had closed Firefox after briefly running it and then tried to reopen it anew but got a message that said "Firefox is already running but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system."
I logged off my computer, and later restarted. However, when I checked my Firewall log it showed that during the minute I had my computer on earlier there were about a dozen instances of "Firefox is preparing to access the internet" which were recorded just seconds apart.
I don't have the problem now -- restarting apparently took care of the issue -- but I don't understand why there were so many instances of Firefox preparing to access the internet when I was not clicking on it all those times, the one time I did I got a message that it already was running, and there were no tabs on my screen to reflect all those supposed instances.
Thanks for any insight that folks can offer.

Were that Firefox processes or plugin-container processes?
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/What+is+plugin-container
In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes", try to exclude the cookies in case you currently have selected this.
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
    *https://support.mozilla.org/kb/Clear+Recent+History
Note that clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
Firefox will try to remove cookies created by plugins in case you clear the cookies and that can result in plugin-container processes getting created.

  • Automatic creation of Activity/Ineraction log when BP data  is changed

    Hi Gurus,
How automatic business activity can be created from CRM Web UI when particular transaction is excuted.
for ex. when I change a Business partner details from Web UI,a automatic business activity/Interaction log needs to be created saying that BP details been changed.
I also develop this functionality for few more transactions.
Please give me a clear approach how this can be achieved.
    Regards,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
There are few ways to get this requirement done,
One Method of doing the same and which I also have tried is by Implementing the BADI 'PARTNER_UPDATE'.

You should report this in a service request on http://metalink.oracle.com.
It is a shame that you put all the effort here to describe your problem, but on the other hand you can now also copy & paste the question to Oracle Support.
Because you are using 10.2.0.3; I am guessing that you have a valid service contract...

Fortunately these errors does not interrupt ETL processes but do you have any idea about how to fix them?

    Hi
Is the Server Standalone? If so run this command
    sudo changeip - 10.31.3.135 10.31.3.135 KNWS3135 KNWS3135.ad.ewsad.net
enter the password when prompted and restart the server.
If the Server is an Open Directory Master issue this command:
    sudo changeip /LDAP/127.0.0.1 10.31.3.135 10.31.3.135 KNWS3135 KNWS3135.ad.ewsad.net
enter the password when prompted and restart the server.
Before you do this can I ask if the DNS Service is being provided by an Active Directory Domain Controller? In other words a Windows Server. If it is and the Windows System Admin has created a DNS entry for your server then make sure there is a Reverse Pointer entry for your server. Make sure the Windows System Admin uses the KNWS3135.ad.esad.net as the FQDN (fully qualified domain name). Enter the AD Server’s IP address as the Primary IP Address in the DNS Server Field on your server and then issue this command:
    host KNWS3135.ad.ewsad.net
You should see something like this:
    KNWS3135.ad.ewsad.net has address 10.31.3.135
    follow this with:
    host 10.31.3.135
You should see something like this:
    135.3.31.10.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer KNWS3135.ad.ewsad.net.
If you are seeing this after you have made sure the Windows System Admin has created the relevant PTR entry for your server then issue the changeip command again:
    sudo changeip -checkhostname
This time it should report 'the names match there is nothing to change'
    Hope this helps, Tony

  • Error in logs when starting server

    Hi,
when i am trying to start my app server on sunone. I am getting the following errors in the logs.
CORE1116: Sun ONE Application Server 7.0.0_01
SEVERE: CORE1227: NSS initialization failed: SEC_ERROR_BAD_DATABASE: Problem using certificate or key database: Certificate database: /apps/sunone/sun-appserver7/var/domains/domain1/nicks-8033/config/cert7.db.
Thus any one knows why this error comes. I have installed a SSL certificate on this server. Can it be that this certificate has not been installed properly.
    Nikhil

Ok, I finally got it figured out.
I needed the original (to that HTTP Server ) modplsql.dll.
    There was no PATH issue.
Once I got the oracle_apache.conf calling plsql.conf and marvel.conf, using the correct DADs, I was all set. I post my solutions to save others some grief.
The original Service Temporarily Unavailable message (Mozilla) was due to the fact that the HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER account was locked after my upgrade.
Along the way, I ran into an access Forbidden error, which was caused by the incorrect password in the DAD.
Two simple things - unlock the HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER acount, and of course make sure the DADs are correct.
And as soon as I can I will be contacting Anton to combine all into one HTTP Server -thanks!
