DAQmx has static readings on some channels

Hi,
I'm writing a LabVIEW 2010 SP1 program for monitoring and recording and it records voltage readings from some sensors through a pair of USB6008s. I have it set to doing continuous sampling at 250 Hz for noise reasons and with a buffer size of 25 on 4 differential channels per device. The problem that I am having is that I get good readings from channels 1 and 3 on each device, but channels 0 and 2 have unchanging readings around 5.2 volts. The unchanging readings each differ from one another by small amounts. Each device has a single task in the program. Test panels in MAX show that each channel is acquiring correctly in the same conditions. Spy reports show that the problem extends to the buffer. I have switched through four different USB-6008s to no effect. Resets of the computer have no effect.
What could make a data acquisition device report this way?

Open channels sometimes tends to pick up garbage values. It might sound a silly question, but are all the channels you recording are connected? basically are the channels that are giving you garbage values are by any chance open? other thing you can try is shuffling the inputs to respective channels to rule out if it a channel issue or board issue.

My hardware is :-
PCI MIO 16E-1 - 1 no.
SCXI-1000 chassis - 1 no.
SCXI-1520 - 4 nos.
SCXI-1314 - 4 nos.
MAX is showing all hardware ( DAQ card + Chassis + SCXIs), set in Multiplexer mode.
I am using MAX task to configure channels ( as per requirement ) and then use the same task in Labview 7.1
When I am trying to generate task only for connected channels then reading are coming some times....... but when i generate task for all channels including (not connected channels) then the reading are either on - side or on + side (max or min).
I have tried to ground the +S but not work

No, DAQmx is superior and I strongly recommend you used DAQmx
Elijah, I guess I understood the problem that Sunder is facing, coz even I had experienced it 2 years back
What happens is if you scan only the channels to which sensors/strain gauges are connected, all is fine and you get good strain readings.
But if you happen to include an unconnected channel into the scan list, all the subsequent channels after the open channel will show saturated readings.

The problem we found, lies in the settling time of the E series DAQ card's ADC. Even we were using PXI 6071 E
Once the ADC saturates on reading an open channel, it cannot settle fast enough to read the next channel.Hence, the next channel also reads saturated value, instead of the correct value.
This is irrespective of the sampling rate because, this happened even when we did continuous sampling at low scan rates of 10 to 100 samples /sec
We found 2 solutions to this problem
Disable Simultaneous sampling and hold for the SCXI 1520 module ( using a DAQmx property node)
Use a M series DAQcard, which did not have this settling time problem

Well if you ask me, theres something seriuosly wrong with above "partner", review the config of the RFC/JCO,
also you could add more details as above info on its own is not enough to give you and objective answer

i am working on a network when i make some update in my database through a form on first updation it works fine, while on second updation it gives me an error 'Record has been changed by some other user' wile no other user is currently working on the same form.
Plz tell me what i can do.

You probably have a database trigger which changes the value of a column which is also part of your form.
The solution depends on the version of Oracle forms and the database that you are using.
Oracle forms 6 introduced a DML returning value (block level) which you can set to Yes so that the value(s) changed by the server will automatically be updated within the form. However, you must be running against an Oracle8 (or later) database for this to work.

Well, it is a pdf file, and it once was a readable one, I suppose.
It must have data on the hex or binary level that can be retrieved.
If necessary, I will have to look into the file format of a PDF file? Is this documented?

Why does my Apple TV have to frequently reactivate some channels

Why does my Apple TV have to frequently reactivate some channels, such as HBO Go and PBS and several others that I know were already activated.

Maybe a software update reset something, maybe the broadcasters require this at intervals, could someone have logged/signed out? Sorry don't get those channels in UK, but once Netflix made me log in again, others seem ok.

click on the contact which you want to integrate, click the edit button scroll down u will find a option called link contacts use it to link it to the duplicate contact

Do you guys use the same computer with itunes on it? And the best way to get them off is to go into the Setting>Itunes & App Store and sign out of her appleid if it's listed there. Also just delete all of the apps from her appleid off your phone.

Is this a POP (POP3) email account? If so, you MacBook Pro may be retrieving the email and deleting it off the server before your phone can. Another possibility is that both your Mac and your phone are trying to retrieving it at the same time, and the POP server, which will only allow a single email client connection at a time, is locking out your phone resulting in the "has not been downloaded from the server" error.

Has Apple recently up-dated my OS (Lion) such that every time the screen saver starts it disables Time Machine. I have to switch-off the computer and re-start in order to undertake a back-up. I have now switched of all screen savers.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of this exercise is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.)

OVM-2008 The Server Pool Master has been registered with some other pool

I am getting this error, while creating my first ever server-pool.
Check prerequisites to create server pool (First-Pool) failed: (OVM-2008 The Server Pool Master (172.16.0.37) has been registered with some other pool, and can not register it again.)
Any idea what can be going wrong?

The only time I've seen this is when the server really has been registered with another pool. You need to clean out the local ovs-agent database at */etc/ovs-agent/db* and restart the agent.

The link for the word 'HERE' directs to a Evergreen School District page, which outside of Mobile Me and/or Aperture. Your school district network might be intercepting the request from Aperture and displaying the 'network authentication page' that you see, instead of the email. I would get with the IT department to see if they can help you get around this.
Have you also tried using the 'Tell a Friend' feature from another network location, like starbucks or your home?
