Dashboard data in focus 5.96
Hey All,
Anyone know why some history data does not display when I change the calendar view to year in the focus admin. It does not display meetings and calls back past April. The data is in the database but for some reason does not display. If I change the event type to something else it works.
Hey All, It appears the application only brings back a maximum of 200 records for this events data as I do not see anything past the first 200 records sorted on startdate. Surely there is some way around this as the year view would have more then 200 records??
Any ideas?

The user entered date in the prompt should be shown as a coloumn in he reportYes doing the same way,but the date coloumn is coming with a value 0.
The prompt value is not getting passed there.
For the date 1/2/1990; The query getting build is like this

And so I am getting 0.
how to resolve this one?

I used to regularly use the postit widgets in the dashboard, as well as a calculator. However, since a month or so, everytime I start writing something in the postits or in the calculator widget, I manage to write a few characters (say 20) and then the dashboard loses the focus. If I hide the dashboard, click an app, show the dashboard again, click on a widget one or multiple time, when I write, it writes in the application that I was in and I have no way to interact with what is in the dashboard.
I used to have this very annoying bug with Leopard and it was corrected when I installed Snow Leopard. It is now back unfortunately.
Please help!What I mean is that weither or not I click on the widget, when I type keys, the keys are actually caught by some other application in the background instead of by the widget.

To Track Developer Dashboard Data in SharePoint 2010

I need to track data of Developer Dashboard in SharePoint 2010.
i haven't find any article related to that or any work around for that.
Please let me know whether it is possible or not.I'm thinking that since the dev dashboard output is added directly to the page (

Another approach seems to be to subclass SPMonitoredScope so at least your custom code leverages it which makes it easy to track dev dashboard data added by your own custom code.

Finance General Ledger dashboards data is missing.
Hi,
I have noticed a strange behaviour related to data loads and data visibility through the Financials Analytics dashboards.
Let me please begin with an empty target schema.
I run the first load having the General Ledger subject area (Full Load=Y). When it's successfully completed, I can see data in most of the tabs of the GL dashboard. In the Profitability dashboard, I can see P&L statement with data.
However, when I run further loads for other subject areas like - paybales, receivables, revenue, cost of goods sold, supply chain, etc., I see, gradually, empty GL dashboard across its tabs. I can not see the P&L statement with data, too.
I take an export of the schema at the end of each load and create a log for each of the export. I compare the logs and can conclude that there is no loss of data (W_GL_OTHER_F) because of, may be, the next loads that I usually do. There is no data in W_TAX_XACT_F from the first load. I notice that due to the next loads more tables are populated with data or the tables with the data have more rows. So, there is no reduced number of rows in the tables because of the next loads.
When I 'modify' the reports in BI Answers by removing all the filters, I see no data, there, too.
Does anyone have an idea what the is the issue here? Am I looking at the right database tables?

Adding an input to my message.
I created the same target schema in a different database and imported the first dump (GL subject area, full load = Y) into this. I am now pointing to this schema via the ODBC datasource on the BI Server server. It shows me all data in all the tabs of the GL dashboard and also, I can see the P&L statement in the Profitability dashboard, too.
So, after the first load, I can see the data in GL dashboard tabs and the P&L statement but once more subject areas are loaded, then the GL data and P&L statement disappears. My issue still remains.

Problem in Exporting Dashboard data using IR 9.3.0

I am working on Hyperion IR-9.3.0. I have two OLAPQuery sections (as OLAPQuery & OLAPQuery 2). I am collating the data from these two
OLAPQuery Sections into a single Dashboard.After doing so I am exporting data present on DASHBOARD to PDF format using
ActiveDocument.Sections["Dashboard"].Export'',(bqExportFormatPDF,true,true,true);
I have succeded in performing above steps.
Now my problem is the number of columns after collating both OLAPQuery section becomes 18. But after Exporting(Dashboard) To PDF format i
can view only 13 columns. I tried exporting after reducing column width to lowest size possible but still i can't export complete data to PDF.
So how to EXPORT complete data from DASHBOARD to PDF file?

Dashboard data not visible for the users - buffer issue?
It occurred several times last weeks that some out of 7 dashboards are not visible to the Dashboard users.
The scenario is the same all the time: users fills in the data, reviews it and posts some comments. Next morning the user canu2019t see the data in the system.

IF your Company has NEtweaver License and the SAPNET User has access right to download section, you must be able to add SP Stacks to Download Basket.
If you have license and use have access, then please contact with local SAP Subsdiary for this problem.
But to be able to download some patches, you must have Solution Manager & Maintanance Optimizer to approve the items in basket. -

Wen i Create dashboard based on above table, Cloumn chart and filtered by project then its not showing full [Cal. year / month].
If Suppose I selected Project A then clolumn chart X - Axis shows only 05, 06 and 07 2014 data and on Y - Axis Sales.
But I want all the month [Cal. year / month] if no data the its should be zero.

SCOM dashboard data and configuration disappears
Hi All,
Whenever I configure a dashboard in SCOM 2012 R2 , it is there for 2 to 3 days and then the data disappears and does not come back. The dashboard becomes blank.I tried creating the dashboard for 2 to three times now and it will only display information till
2 to 3 days and then later the information disappears.
Can someone advise and help me with a work around?
Note: There were dashboards created before the R2 upgrade from SCOM 2012 Sp1, which still work fine.Hi,
I would like to suggest you check event view for operations manager event logs for more information to help analysis this issue.
Whether the issue occurs to every dashboard, or just some specific dashboard?
Did you open the dashboard on operations manager console or others, such as sharepoint web site?

Tasks Dashboard - Dates and Work information

I would need your expertise again.:)
First, i want to know if could exists in a standard scenario the possibility to add the field work from screenshot below in our task dashboard on project management?
Second, right now we are maintaining manually the fields Actual Start and Actual finish ? from other posts I understood that this fields should be automatically completed by the system. I would like to maintain the constraints and to be able to see also this constraints in My tasks dashboard.
Could be this constraints linked to this fields from Settings? If yes, what should I configure in order to have this fields completed in my dashboard view?

Cannot set focus when reset data using datasets
Hi All,
When I click reset form button. I would like to reset data then focus to the first field. I can clear information I provided but setFocus to the first name field is not working. Please help.
I use datasets to reset data.

Data Recovery After Hard Drive Failure!
Ok, basically, I've got a 2 1/2 year old iBook G4 with a bombed hard drive, and unfortunately, the last time I backed up was around 3 months ago. Here's what happened right before the crash: some applications like Widgets and Safari were acting fluky, and it wouldn't let me open Word documents, so I restarted, because I thought it might have something to do with the fact that i had downloaded the new version of itunes not that long ago and hadn't restarted since. well, when i restarted, the gray screen with the wheel and the apple symbol went on for a really long time, and then the blue screen came up with the cursor, but nothing else happened, and the blue screen just stayed there. as far as i know, the hard drive wasn't making any unusual noises, just the usual occasional soft sounds that my hard drive has always made (there are usual sounds, right?) a piece of information that might be useful is that the hard drive was almost full (it only had about 5 GB left, which i understand is how much you should leave) could this have caused the failure maybe? anyway, i tried using the hard drive as a target and tried getting another computer to recognize it and pull the files off, but that didn't work. so, i brought it into the apple store, and they got it to boot up but using some external hard drive, i think. they tried disk utility, but that didn't see my hard drive. then the tried disk warrior, and that saw it and repaired it or something, but then it couldn't get the drive to mount. so, i'm assuming that because disk warrior didn't work and couldn't get it to mount, then other software like data rescue, etc... won't either. like all computer users, i've got some REALLY REALLY important data on there, and all the data recovery places i've gotten quotes from are pretty pricey. if the drive doesn't require physical data recovery, only non-physical, as i hope, the cheapest is still $350. even so, the person on the phone there didn't seem to know nearly as much as the people at the more pricier places. so, are there any other options besides expensive data recovery? i read something about using dd - a unix thing, but i don't know the first thing about it (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20050302225659382) so i'm not sure i want to risk messing it up even more. and, if worse comes to worst, then i'll use a data recovery place... but can anyone tell me if they've used any of the data recovery companies below, and which ones are good?

Once you get your data back, focus on a regular (even daily) backup routine, because as you know only so well, the question is not if a drive will fail, it's when.

QaaWS not returning data in Xcelsius
My dashboard Data is not displayed in Xcelsius or InfoView and have encountered the error as below:

I have tried to validate the Web service via the URL in browser :http://<server>:<port no>/dswsbobje/qaawsservices, same error has appeared in the browser.
I have applied the SAP Notes 1258052, the issue is still not resolved.
I have tried to use different user ID to the BOBJ Authentication screen prompt in the dashboard, however still got the same error.

I do not know the content of the SAP Note you are referring to, but it seems you are encountering the usual pre-XI 3.1 issue of QaaWS.
Before XI 3.1, QaaWS management servlet used to connect to the CMS independently of consumers or any actual user connection (this was required to get QaaWS queries descriptions to generate WSDL files and some runtime parameters). To do so, QaaWS used a specific 'background' user, usually called QaaWSServletPrincipal, which, as any other user, eats up a license. If the number of available concurrent access license is low, this background user may drive you into that issue (error message tells by itself).
Ways to mitigate this are :
1. Increase the number of available license (self evident).
2. Use another 'background' user, this can be performed by changing configurations parameters in configuration file dsws.properties under ~<Application Server Folder>\webapps\dswsbobje\WEB-INF\classes : qaaws.principal.username and qaaws.principal.password parameters need to be changed to another user, in order to share the corresponding license (any user with at least view permissions over the CMS will do the job). Do not forget to restart app server after this change.
3. Update to XI 3.1, in that release & following, background user has been removed (for security reasons), WSDL data is managed differently.
4. When running CX dashboards from Infoview try (as recommended) to use serialized session information to connect QaaWS queries, so that consumer re-uses its own session to run the QaaWS query. Any other way of passing credentials (session token or login & password web service input parameters) to QaaWS queries will eat up a new license, and thus brings the risk of the error you have.

We are configuring the Team Foundation Server web part to show dashboards associated with burndown, user stories, etc. I added some active but when I click on the Bug Progress link, the chart does not display any data. I click on the Burndown link to
add some issues data. When I click on the Task burndown or the user story progress, I get the following message
"The error occured during an attempt to establish a connection to the external data source. The following connections failed to refresh:
TfsOlaReport"

As far as I know team project Release Burndown report shows in team project site by default. How did you add the active to show Bug Progress chart and did you custom your Burndown in team project site? Please share the detailed steps here. And you can share
