Data Found In Multiprovider,but No Data in Report

Hi,
I have built a multiprovider on two infocubes(Infocube1,Infocube2).On that I have four reports,the problem is till multiprovider complete data is comming even in one report among tht four I am able to see the data for the few feilds from infocube1.But the fields from Infocube2 is not populating data.
And interestingly for the other 3 reports even the data from the Infocube1 is also not able to see.when I execute the repots its displaying tht No Data Found.
I would like to knw where is the problm exists.

Hello Lucky,
Do you have aggregates in any of the InfoCubes?
Try this...
Go to transaction RSRT and insert the query name that is giving no data.
Choose "Execute + Debug". Under "Aggs" mark the option "Do Not Use Aggregates".
If the query returns data, then the problem is on the aggregates. Inactive them and active and fill them again.
Test the query again to see if the issue is solved.

Thanks for getting back so promptly.
It just seems weird to me, as tables are just fine, but not views.
In the underlying schema:
SQL> sho user

In fact, I would like to know more about how Apex gets access to do DML against the underlying parsing schema(s).
This is a little frustrating though. It worked just fine in lots of apps in version 2.1 to 3.2
Am I missing something

Display 'No Data Found' when there is inv data but still there is xml data

Hi,
I am converting an rdf to BI publisher. The issue is when there is no detail (inv) but still there is still xml data , due to which the report is getting printed with the skeleton template and blank details(inv).
I need to avoid printing the report out if there is not inv detail even though there is xml data. or atleast show 'NO DATA FOUND' msg. and print the report output only when there is inv data.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Srini,
Now I am running into another problem. When there is no detail data it displays 'No data found' as expected in the report output. But is there any way to restrict the print option (avoid wasting the paper) to just display 'No data found' in the output but not to print the output only in this case.
I really appreciate any help!

Can see Data in Fact Table but cannot pull in report

I have issues where I am able to load data successfully by using Data Manager.
After I loaded data I optimized my sales application and checked on database to verify that data was there in the FACSALES table.
When I go to pull report I cannot see the data. I tried diferent selection criteria, same thing.

As your query dos't explained which version of BPC your using and is the data loaded successfully or not.if so please check your CV is matching with your data and post the exact error.

Data found in PSA but not in Cube

Hello experts,
I am facing following issue while loading data into Cube:
Infocube is scheduled through Process Chain. Data is getting loaded into Infocube daily.
Now, some of the records are missing into Infocube are available in PSA. There is no any selection criteria set at Transfer rule level or Update rule level.
Can anyone help me for the same?

one possibility could be that you are trying to load it using get yesterday in the InfoPackage.....
The problem could be that the date on which you have applied get yesterday is not the correct date....try to map on the correct date...
Second possibility could be....there could be some routine that is filtering the data...like start routine at transfer rules or update rules...though you mentioned nothing as such..
Check if there is some routine at the InfoObject level.....
If you have enhanced your DataSource then check the same after replicating...very feeble possibility..

No data found when adding column link to classic report

Hi,
Oracle 11g r2, APEX 4.1.1.00.23.
I have some classic reports.
I go to Report Attributes, then I click Add Column Link in the "Tasks" right menu, it adds me a column link, I just add some text for the link and a page to go to.
Then I run the report and I get :
report error:
ORA-01403: no data foundTested with several classic reports on multiple pages.
Debug mode shows me :

Data exist in DeltaQueue but No data is extracted

Hi,
I use the bapi BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE in R3, in order to change some fields of order.
When I run this BAPI over orders, and do the changes, all of the infected orders, are moved to the delta queue, that's mean that I can see them in RSA7. But BW can not extract those orders by delta, and also when I try to simulate extraction in RSA3, I get no data.
Any ideas?

I see that there is an OSS Note (708020) that describes a problem related to that BAPI, but, in this kind of issue, delta is not copied on RSA7...while you see delta records on the queue and your are not able to upload them on your BW, right ?
Did you check the status of these records in SMQ1 ?
If you are facing this issue on production environment, better to ask for some support at SAP OSS...

Receipt Date: 05/27/07
thought something was wrong with my Ipod, but now have a Mac and Iphone and found each song on the album ends about 30 seconds short.   Iphone and Ipad play the songs and then slience until the next song starts.
Found the Itunes receipt but it is so old, there are no avenues to re-download the album.
Have updated all my Itunes and other software.
Anyone ever have this happen?   How can I fix it without repurchasing the whole CD again?

Can not view/export a report which has 2 group by field when no data found

Recently I developed a report, which contains 2 group by fields. it runs successfully when the report displays some data.
but when there is no data, i cann't view/export this report.
It shows nothing by html format and shows "this file cannot be opened because it has no pages" message by pdf format.
even there is no records for this report, i still want to see the template file and show some basic information.
please help me.

I've found that, just like I used to do in Oracle Reports, if you put in a COUNT column to count your returning rows, you can put 'No Data Found' when there's no data. That way, your report will return and not error out.
For .pdfs, this is the code I use; COUNT with code of <?if:count(field_name)=0?>.
In the .rtf..
COUNT
No Data Found
END COUNT
Put this in the .rtf before your data should appear or else it won't work.

Report shows "No data found" when validation fails

I'm new to the OTN and have a short question regarding validations/report pagination.
We are using Apex 4.0.2.00.07.
I have a page containing a report with three columns.
First column is a checkbox (f30), the second one a date picker and the third one is a value field (f34).
I'm trying to build a validation for the value field (should only allow numeric values, but is varchar2) and used a validation with "Function Returning Boolean".
The PL/SQL code is:

Tried to disable pagination completely, but the error still displays when the validation fails.

How to pop up alert "No Data found" if there are no values in database

Hi All,
Please tell me how to pop up alert if there is no data found and all fields are null in report for given parameter value. or else is there any way to trigger user while entering parameter value that wrong parameter value. (I dnt want to use drop down) in my report.
Please help me. Any help will be valuable.

There's no way that I know of to do this as a "Pop-up", but providing a "no records returned" warning still easy enough to do.
Just insert a new Report Header section...
Add a text box that has whatever message you'd like to display.
Right click the new header section and choose Selection Expert
Click the X-2 button next to Suppress (No Drill-Down)
Enter a formula similar to this...
IF COUNT({TableName.FieldName}) < 1 THEN FALSE ELSE TRUE
This will suppress the warning if records are present and display it if there are none.

ORA-01403: no data found (WWV-16016) error

I have a very simple form with two fields. This form is opened in the update mode through a report which pass a parameter to the form. When I press 'Delete' button to delet the record, I get this error message:
Error: An unexpected error occurred: ORA-01403: no data found (WWV-16016)
But the record is actually deleted by this action.
Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

I have the same problem when i call form based on procedure in insert mode. However, i can insert one record normally, when i try to insert another one, this error appears.
This behavior is really extremly annoying and i would really like to know why this error apprears and how to get rid of it.

HTML DB not data found

I am developing a simple application with HTML DB.
On one of my forms , I started entering a data then i stopped and changed tab when i came back i got the below message:
Error Unable to fetch row.
OK
ORA-01403: no data found
I know there is data. There a report on the same page based on the table.

I get this sometimes too. There is a bug somewhere in HTMLDB but I can't track down exactly what it is. Can you try removing all order by choices in the report attributes and see if this allows the report to run, then put the order by choices back one at a time.

Display 0 value for not applicable data found in Company Code Hierarchy

Dear Expert,
How to display 0 value inside company code hierarchy which has no data applicable data found in BW Report? I have created queries with Profit Center(PC) Hierarchy and inside this hierarchy there are several PC. Based on data in BW Cube some of the PC has no applicable data found. But my report should display all the PC inside this hierarchy with 0 value for no applicable data found. What should i do to default 0 value for no applicable data found for that PC so that my report will be display all PC in that hierarchy?
