Data migration on purchasing info record

Hi Gurus,
Where can I find some detail information about how to use program RM06IBI0 via LSMW to carry out data migration on purchasing info record?
Thanks in advance for your help!

if you know how to use LSMW, then it does not really matter whether you prepare for loading info records or material masters or any other data.
this forum has many many threads that have links to LSMW documentation. Search for it if you need explanation on LSMW.
If you have specific questions to the info record load, then let me know

  • Need help in Pricing Date Category in Purchase info Record

    Hi Friends,
Need your help to solve the below issue
I had created PO for a material with PO price as  Rs 100 /-
The info record price for the material for current period is R150/-. Th pricing Date catergory in Info record is selected as "GR Date"
When I do GR for for today's date , system is still taking the PO price of Rs100/- . System supposed to consider the Info record price for today's date i.e. Rs150/-. But it is not taking Info record price
Could some one help  what could be the reason  ?
    Deva

    Dear Deva,
The price determination usually based on the field EKPO-MEPRF
price date category for the PO but not the price date category
in the info record. Please kindly check if you have EKPO-MEPRF = 5.
If you subsequent change the price category at info record, the GR still take
the value from the PO stored at table level.

  • Payment terms in Vendor Master data and purchasing info record

Hi, all, I met one trouble. While I create Purchase Order. In the header item, payment terms is automatically pop up from the data maintaining the vendor master data or purchasing info record if there is difference payment terms between in vendor master data and in purchasing info record. What happend?
Sometimes, When you create purchase order, payment terms is not automatically pop up even you maintained in the vendor master data or purchasing info record. Why? Is it meaning that I can manually to input payment terms while create each purchase order which can be difference data with vendor master data or purchase info record?
Thank you very much in advance,

    Hi,
The payment terms is usually defaulted from either vendor master or purchasing master data record such as contract/outline agreement.  Unless it is set through configuration that the payment terms be set as mandatory, any failure to maintain payment terms won't stop you from posting your PO as this information will only be useful during invoice receipt maintenance.  Having said that if you are setting up your system with discount condition type as part of your PO pricing schema then it is necessary that the payment terms shall be maintained during PO creation.
    Cheers,
    HT

  • Purchase Info Record - Price Determination (Pricing) Date Control

    Dear Guru,
Can i get some advice here for the "Price Determination (Pricing) Date Control" (Pr. Date. Cat ) setting which is maintain in the Purchase Info Record --> Purchasing Organization Data 1.
Can anyone advice me on the purpose and where is the configuration?
    Thank You very much,
    Regards,
    Chee Wee

    Hi
If you maintain Pricing date category in info record then different pricing date can be considered for a certain material supplied by a particular vendor.
If you maintain in the Vendor master then the same price determination date will be considered for all the vendors materials.
    For example,
If you want to maintain two pricing for the materials with different periods then you can use the validity periods according to the requirement.
    Validity periods,
    1. 01.11.2010 to 31.12.2010
    2. 01.01.2011 to 31.01.2011

    Hi Phemmy,
it is possible to create  PO before info record .info record establishes the relationship between vendor and your particular material.
    to answer your 2nd question:
it is possible to create inforecord automatically during PO creation. in the ME2N screen, in the material tab, put the material code. then go to item details.in the materail data tab, you will get infoupdate  check it.and then inforecord will be created automatically.
    Thanks

  • Purchasing info record: country of origin copied from Basic Data View

How/where can I make sure that the Country of Origin from the Material Mastewr Data is ALWAYS copied into a purchasing info record for that same material?

    Hi,
As of my knowledge, the country of origin will be copied to po from  material master and the same is copied from po to invoice. So in your case, in invoice, it will be copied from po only, that is DE will come in invoice.
Please check the following note for better understanding:
Note 481600 - FAQ: Import data in purchasing
Note 418707 - Info record: Country of origin automatically filled
Please check the link too: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60/helpdata/en/8b/2ae341bd955f24e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

  • Purchasing Info Records data upload

Hi, I am uploading purchasing info records using LSMW and the batch input object 0060. But I do not find ESOKZ in the structures to map the Purchasing Info Records Category.
Also, I have LIFNR in my source structure and also I see it in BEIN0. But the auto field mapping is not working for this field.
    Can you please advise?
    Thank you very much

    Hi
    1) Ideally, you shd create different LSMW project for each info record category. You can see a separate field for each category in BEIN0
    2) Not a big issue. Is it not ?
    Best regards

  • Purchase info record extraction logic

    Hi,
Iam in process of Data migration for Purchase inforec from SAP 4.7 to ECC 6,
So please provide your inputs on logic for extracting Purchase info record -
    Tables Used:
    1) ENIA
    2) EINE
    3) A017
    4) KONP,
The problem is I need the link between EINE and A017(which field is used as reference between this 2 tables for extracting conditions)
    Thanks
    Rajesh. R

    Hi,
to fetch the data related to the info records you need to add the eine and eina fields that is vendor, plant, material, purchase organization, info record type (std, s/c, pipeline or consignment but these are stored in numbers). these values are put together will give you the basic price / gross price condition record no. this you have to pass into KONP. one more thing this will have the validity period for the basic price. and under one condition record no there might be more conditions maintained such as discount, surcharge, freights etc.

  • How to change the Qty Conversion on a Purchase Info Record.

I am trying to change the Quantity Conversion for a particular Purchase Info Record as it is incorrect.  The inputs are greyed out on the Purchasing Organization1 Data Screen.   I have also gone to the Conditions screen and the Menu Selection is greyed out when I go to the Menu for EXTRAS->Conversion Factors.  The Conversion Factor has been changed at the Additional Data Screen of the Material Master.   Any help would be greatly apprectiated.  Thanks in Advance.

I have solved this problem.    From the Condition Record I went to the Menu Path, GOTO->ADDITIONAL DATA.  From here I was able to go to the Conversion Factor and make the changes.

  • Purchase info record is not showing in po.

    Hi all,
while creating purchase order i m giving purchase info record no but values from info record
is not updating in purchase order.plz help.
    best regards.

    Hi Nissinha,
There are so many ways to be analysed for the cause. Because PIR -Purchase info record:
Please check in order of priority while diagnosing and finding for the solution:
    1. Check wether the PIR is created for the Vendor of that perticular material or not.
    2. Check for the validity (valid upto which date) mentioned in the PIR
    3. Check for the type of Info record (based on Item category) it is such as Standard, Sub contracting, etc
    Hope it clarifies

  • Error in CIF for Purchase Info Records

    Hi,
I am trying to CIF Purchase Info record from R/3 to APO but its getting stuck during activation "generating delta Model".
Can anyone please help in this regards, I have already read the link related to BD22 but which message type do we need to delete. Also what can be the other reason.
I have CIFed Plant, material, vendor in the same sequence also I have extended material to vendor manually in APO.
I have one more issue the vendor code 1000000 in R/3 is getting create as 0001000000 in APO can this cause a problem
    Thanks,
    sanjog

    Hi Sanjog ,
Iam not sure why you are looking at tcode BD22. It is not relevant to PIR transfer .
Also to CIF the PIR for a material from R/3 to APO, it is not necessary that the material should exist in the vendor location in APO. (You need to create the material at vendor location only if it is required specifically for your business scenario).
Now , to identify what is causing the problem , you have to check the inbound queue in APO and outbound queue in R/3. The tcodes are SMQ2 and SMQ1. You can also use the queue manager /n/sapapo/cq in APO . Check what the error message is and correct the master data in R/3 accordingly. Then delete all blocked queue entries (/sapapo/cq can be used ) and then run the PIR CIF activation again.
    Thanks

  • Automatic creation of purchase info record

    Hi friends
I could not find check box in RFQ (ME41!N)or in Quotation (ME47N) for updating/automatic creation of purchase info record.
    Thanks
    Sunny

    Hi,
you can maintain the info update for the required quotation through ME47.choose the required line item and click on the "item detail" icon and put the necessary value for info update:
    1-     No update
2-A     Update with or without plant
3-B     Update with plant (if no plant ban)
4-C     Update without plant (if no plant requirement)
    Indicator: Update Info Record
    Determines whether:
The purchasing info record for this vendor and material is to refer to this PO item, and
The item is to be valid for the entire purchasing organization or just for the plant.
    Use
The indicator determines which prices and conditions are suggested in future PO items.
Prices and conditions can apply to an entire purchasing organization or to a single plant within a purchasing organization.
For example, if you create a purchase order for a plant for which an info record has been defined at plant level, the purchase order is based on the conditions in the plant info record and not on the conditions that apply to the purchasing organization.
    Procedure
    Enter the relevant plant key:
    A
Updating of the document number is effected at plant level as long as there is a purchasing info record at plant level. Otherwise the document number is updated at purchasing organization level.
    B
Updating is effected at plant level if plant conditions are allowed for the plant.
    C
Updating is effected without plant data if plant conditions are not necessary for the plant.
    Dependencies
The level at which updating of the document number may be effected is defined for each plant.
Hope this will clarify your query.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Bijay Pradhan
