Data missing in some Tables of type "A" in QA after QA refresh/CC

Hi,
I did QA refresh few weeks back using SAVLIB/RSTLIB method. Then I did a local client copy(SAP_ALL) to make the client number(200) same as that before the refresh. Following this I deleted the source client(300).
Now, I have a strange issue. All of a sudden, I had observed that the tables e.g. PB9024 and PA9024 (HR tables) are copied but they have no data(zero entries).
I am not able to identify if this issue is due to the refresh or any error in client copy. All other tables seems to be consistent. The above mentioned tables are of type 'A' and pertain to Application data - Master data.
System details:
4.6c with 4.6D kernel.
Iseries I550 - V5R3
Any clues on this?
Regards,
Sai

Sai,
You could restore the respective tables into a temporary library with RSTOBJ and check the contents there. This would at least help answering your first question.

  • BP data missing in some Lead transactions of MSA.(Data Inconsistency)

The BP information(Company name & Contact person) is NOT getting displayed on some of the Lead transactions on MSA. Although,it is displayed on most of the Lead transaction on MSA.
    1) If I download say 20 Leads from CRM Server to MSA, the BP data is missing only on some 4-5 Leads. All other Lead have the correct BP information.
    2) And, if 2 Leads are downloaded for the same BP, 1 Lead has the BP data whereas the other does NOT have it.
-This shows that the BP data is available in MSA database but it is NOT displayed on the MSA tileset.
-Also, we are able to pull the BP (Activity Partner & Contact person) under the respective BP search on MSA.
We checked the Client SQL database table and all the data (Master & Transaction) are present there.
However, when we check the tables for the Lead where BP is missing, the BP information is NOT available. i.e, the BP information is not available at the table level for that particular transaction.
In spite of all the Master data available in database level.
Can anyone please help us with this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,
Yes.We are able to reproduce it as and when we want the "error samples".
One more finding, we DON'T see this issue on DEV setup. It is working fine.
However, when we try to upload the same flat file containing 24 Leads on Testing environment, invariably we get the "BP data missing" at least for 3 Lead transactions.
This is the case on Production environment as well.
We are already contemplating on OSS ticket.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Since mountain lion Find in Numbers 3-4 columns of data missing and some columns in the wrong order. Fortunately I have a back up on my iPad and was able to put that version in as a new file. Why has this happened ?

Since mountain lion I have noticed 3-4 columns of data missing from a Numbers file. I have fortunately been able to replace the total file from my iPad version but why has this happened. Makes me lose trust in Numbers

    That would be strange.

  • Statistics missing for some tables in sys after scheduler job ran

In a 10g database, the scheduler automatically has the job set up to gather the statistics for the sys schema. I noticed the job was disabled for some reason so I enabled it yesterday and it ran last night. I didn't see any errors for last night's scan.
I have looked at sys.all_tab_statistics and noticed that there are many tables in sys that have a last_analyzed date of last night but there are also many tables that have a last_analyzed date that is a long time ago. For example, the argument$ table has stats from 8/21/06. Also, the scheduler window did not close before the job finished.
Some of the tables that weren't scanned report 'YES' in the 'STALE_STATS' column.
Why doesn't the GATHER_STATS_JOB gather stats for all of the tables in sys and only some of them?
    Ideas?

Check whether statistics gathering is locked. You can use below query
    SQL> select stattype_locked,table_name from dba_tab_statistics where table_name
    like '%ARGUMENT%';
    STATT TABLE_NAME
    ARGUMENT$
    SCHEDULER$_JOB_ARGUMENT
    SCHEDULER$_PROGRAM_ARGUMENT
    CWM$ARGUMENT
If you find stattype_locked column null, then i believe it is to do with monitoring stuff.

  • Data missing from W_GL_BALANCE_F table

    Hi:
    OBIA: 7.6.3
    Source: EBS 11.5.10
I have run and re-run a full load for Financial Analytics, and, strangely, data is missing for a few months. When I have re-run, I selected Reset Data Sources in DAC. Specifically, data is missing in W_GL_BALANCE_F for Dec 2010 and Feb-May 2011. All other months that could contain data, do contain it. I have verified that transactions exist in GL_BALANCES table for the missing months.
Can anyone suggest what might cause this behavior?
    Thank you.

I assume they also do not exist in the W_GL_OTHER_FS staging table. Can you check this table as well as the TMP table that precedes it. The issue seems to be on the Extract side (not the GL Balance Load side). Each source system may have specific preceding tables for the GL Journal Lines. Also, are you extracting from the GL_BALANCES in EBS or are you calculating the balances in the ETLs? There are 2 options to configure here..check the configuration guide. I would just work backwards from W_GL_OTHER_FS and see why these are not coming through. If this was helpful, please mark as helpful or correct.

  • Querying Dates missing in the table

I have columns name, taskname start_date and end_date in my table.
    e.g.,
    Name Task StartDate EndDate
    abc task1 2008-04-01 2008-04-03
    abc task2 2008-04-05 2008-04-15
    abc task3 2008-04-08 2008-04-18
    abc task4 2008-04-21 2008-04-25
    abc task5 2008-04-19 2008-04-23
    abc task6 2008-04-25 2008-04-30
I need to find out the dates for which there are no tasks planned for the person in the month excluding Saturdays and Sundays.
Is it possible to get the output in a single SQL itself, or else how could it be done in PL/SQL procedure ?

    Hi,
You'll need to do an outer join to a table (or subquery) that has all the possible dates. Here's one example from this site:

  • How to select data missing in the table?

    <p>

    </strong>
    </p>

We get asked this question on a reasonably regular basis.. Apparently people think it's perfectly normal and acceptable to ask a data repository for all the data it doesnt contain. We normally have a conversation that runs:
Tech "So, you want to see all data in the database, that is not in the database?"
    User "Yes"
Tech "How do you propose that a database gives you all the information it doesnt have"
User "Oh. Now you put it that way.."
Actually I wish someone would hurry up and invent a data repository that does this, that way if I suddenly took a liking to The Beatles, but didnt have any of their songs in my collection, I could ask the data repository for all the Beatles songs I didnt have and.. bam! I'd have all the Beatles songs! cool
Seriously.. youre asking us to tell you how to make an oracle db tell you what information it doesnt have, but youre refusing to supply a block of data for it to compare against (i.e. so it can know what "Everything" is, in the phrase "Everything it doesn't have".
Do you really see it as possible?

  • E2E WA: Data missing for some tabs

    Hi,
We have configured solution manager (4.0) ABAP stack to collect data from its own Solution Manager Diagnostics. Under the Workload Analysis the data is showing for some of the tabs like WorkProcess, Short dumps, User Load etc but some of the tabs like Top Dialog, Top Batch are not showing any data.
    Any clues ?
    Thanks
    Murali.

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. If the system is up and running and if ST03n is showing a Top Dialog or Batch out of whatever it ran for that day or week will not that be enough to show in the SMD screen ? Is there anything else to be looked into specially for Top Dialog or Batch kind of classification ?
    Thanks,
    Murali.

  • Table structure changed in testing system after system refresh.

    Hi Team,
Recently we underwent a system refresh in Testing System where the Testing data is filled with Production data. But now we find that in one table some fields which we had deleted they are again found there. The version history of table is also gone. The table object was under testing in testing system and after which it was supposed to be transported to production. I believe System refresh only means refresh of data and it has nothing to do with table structure. Please correct me if I am wrong. Please also let me know what could be the reason of those changes in table if it is not System Refresh.
    Regards,
    Amit

I believe System refresh only means refresh of data and it has nothing to do with table structure.
Alas, you were wrong, after all table definition are data too, as program sources...
You have to re-import every transport request which was not yet transported to production in your test system.

  • Oracle Entity Framework: some tables won't update the entity data model

I've successfully connected to an oracle database, and I've set up an entity data model project in Visual Studio 2010.
Using "Update Model from Database" on the EDMX file, some tables that I select are imported, but others do not appear. Is there something about these tables that prevents them from being imported?
    Thanks
    Jonathan Poor
    Rubin & Poor, Inc.

When I tried this the first time, I missed a message that answers my question:
The table/view does not have a primary key defined and no valid primary key could be inferred. This table/view has been excluded. To use the entity, you will need to review your schema, add the correct keys, and uncomment it.
Another table was brought in because the entity model managed to infer a primary key:
The table/view does not have a primary key defined. The key has been inferred and the definition was created as a read-only table/view.

  • DRM export missing some tables

    Hi All,
I am using DRM 11.1.2.3.300 and I am trying to perform an export from an Oracle DRM schema  using the following command :
    exp userid=DRM_DB/Password@MYINSTANCE  FILE=DRMAPP1_20130913.dmp direct=y statistics=none  compress=n log=EXP_DRM_DB_20130913.log
However, after the export finishes I look into log file and see that some tables was not exported, such as RM_BOOK and RM_BOOK_ITEM.
Am I missing something at exp command or something is not right here ???
    Thanks

Are the tables empty? If so then go to a search engine and type "exp not exporting empty tables" and you will find the answer.

  • Export with all objects and only some table data

    Hi,
can we use exclude and include both at a time.Because I want export full schema but data required only some 5 table, Is it possible.
please share expdp and impdp query.
    Regs,
    Brijesh

    Hello,
can we use exclude and include both at a time. No, EXCLUDE and INCLUDE are mutually exclusive.
I want export full schema but data required only some 5 table, Is it possible. You can make 2 separate Exports:
    - *1.* With the metadata only, by using the parameter below:
CONTENT=METADATA_ONLY- *2.* With the Data of the 5 Tables.
The _1st Export_ will let you have all the Objects of the Schema but you won't have any rows.
For this _2nd Export_, you may use the INCLUDE parameter so as to select the 5 Tables for which you need Datas. As previously posted, the QUERY parameter let you apply a filter on the rows for each Tables. By that way you'll have only an extract of the content of the 5 Tables.
NB: The use of a Parameter File is recommended so as to manage better all the Parameters you need, and avoid some troubles with some special characters.
    Hope this help.
    Best regards,
