Data Records are missing in between while loading from R/3 (ECC) to BI.

Dear Experts,
I have created a custom DataSource on Custom Function Module. This datasource contains 600 fields. (I know its a monster and splitting options are thinner).
1) Validate the data using RSA3 in R/3 and showed the correct record count.
2) Validate the data by debugging the FM, still showed the correct record count.
But while loading from R/3 to BI, records are missing.
Various Scenarios load from R/3 to BI:
1a) Loaded full load (78000 records) with all default data transfer settings. PSA showed up with 72000 records (missing 6000) only. Compared the Idocs vs data packets, both reconciled.
1b) Loaded full load (78000) with modified settings (15000 KB / data packet). PSA showed up with 74000 records (missing 4000) only.
2a) Loaded with selection parameters (took a small chunk) (7000 records) with default data transfer settings. PSA showed up only 5000 records (missing 2000).
2b) Loaded with selection parameters (7000 records) with modified settings (15000 KB / data packet). PSA showed up all 7000 records.
3a) Loaded with selection parameters (took further small chunk) (4000 records). PSA showed up all records regardless data transfer settings.
Also please look at this piece of code from the function module,
IF l_wa_interface-isource = 'ZBI_ARD_TRANS'.
l_package_size = l_wa_interface-maxsize DIV 60.
ENDIF.

Dear Gurus,
few records are missing while downloading to a Spread sheet from a Z report. There are around 300 records, out of which 11 records are not appearing in Spreadsheet file after saving. But, the funny thing is when i try to save in other format like, HTML or to a clip board all records are coming.
When asked, the ABAPer said -
your report is coming correctly. if the report is wrong then we can try checking some code in the Z report. Saving it into Spread sheet is the standard program provided by SAP.
He is also facing this problem for the first time.
Can anybody help.

Few days back we got this kind of error, when i tried to down load the asset balances in excel format.
It was observed that, for one of the asset description ends with cama",". Due to this reason all other details has been stored in single cell. Once we changed the master data of that asset, then we able to get the report properly.
2) Some other time, when we tried to download material master details, for one of the material ... description not maintained. this is another issue. After maintain the description problem got resolved.

We have one generic data source on FAGLFLEXA table.
We select Field nm TIMESTAMP
TIME STAMP IS LOCAL.
upper limit is Blank
Lower limit is 1000.
we run this process chain every day.
we select delta settings is New status for changed records.
Please give me any idea why records are missing when we run deltas.

Hi Anju,
Please ensure that you are following the below steps while Initilizing the application 13:
1. All the users in source system, must be locked.
2. Ensure that SMQ1 and RSA7 are having no data for application 13. Delete the application 13 datasource entries from RSA7.
3. Delete and refill the setup tables for application 13.
4. Run a INIT with data transfer load for the required datasources of application 13.
5. The Deltas can follow from the next day.
This will ensure that your deltas are fetching correct data. Note that, delta will pick up the same conditions on which the INIT load was run.

Customer Master Data attributes are missing in BW when populated in R3?

We have got a problem like - Customer Master Data attributes are missing in Business Warehouse when populated in R3.

Account Number: 1081202 - No customer clasification. In BW it is not assigned.
Account Number: 2023902 - In BW region field is not assigned, In R3 it shows SA.
No customer clasification, in R3 it shows OP.
How do we check & resolve this problem.

Its directly loaded into the characteristic. no PSA is used in between.
We need to run manually the hierarchy/attribute change run?

Data flow tasks faills while loading from database to excel

I am getting error while loading from oledb source to excel and the error as shown below.

In your routine, maybe you should as well add a counter for index in your loop :
DATA : w_idx like sy-tabix.
When you loop at result_package, do :      w_idx = sy-tabix.
And make :     DELETE result_package INDEX w_idex.

Error while loading from PSA to Cube. RSM2-704 & RSAR -119

Dear Gurus,
I have to extract about 1.13 million records from set up tables to the MM cube 0IC_C03. While doing, the following two errors occured while loading from the psa to the cube:
Error ID - RSM2 & error no. 704: Data records in the PSA were marked for data package 39 . Here there were 2 errors. The system wrote information or warnings for the remaining data records.
Error ID- RSAR & No. 119: The update delivered the error code 4 .
(Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM )
I tried to change the defective records in psa by deleting the erraneous field value EMN and tried to load but failed.
Now, my questions are:
How can I resolve the issue ?
(ii) How to rectify the erraneous record ? should we only delete the erraneous field value or delete the entire record from the psa.
(iii) How to delete a record from psa.

Data records for package 39 selected in PSA - 2 error(s). Record 5129 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM . Record 5132 :No SID found for value 'EMN ' of characteristic 0BASE_UOM
The issue with record no. 5129 and 5132.
In PSA check errorneous records and it will display only the error records, you just edit as per the require and try reloading into cube.
Deleting single record is not possible.
Let us know if you still have any issues.

Hi,
I created a document in Pages v5.2 last week and have just opened it and received the following message:
'Some images are missing because they were deleted from the document'
When I try and replace the missing images I get the following message:
'The image "filename" couldn't be inserted.'
When I try and reimport the original image I get the following message:
'The image "filename" couldn't be inserted. This image is of an unsupported type.'
If I try and insert an image that was not in the document before, in the same file format, it goes in fine.
If I insert the original image into a blank Pages document it goes in no problem.
I would also like to point out that the data folder still contains lots of versions of images in the document, but does not seem to have any of the ones I am actually using, which I guess is where the problem is. However I have no idea how or why these specific images have been deleted.
Any light on how this problem has come about, and the best possible way to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

I have Pages v5.2.2 on OS X 10.9.4. I can not reproduce your stated issues with images in this version of Pages. I don't have a solution for you. See my test in the third paragraph. If I were experiencing this behavior, I would perform a Safe Boot to clear out System caches, and try again, before kicking Pages v5+ to the curb.
The Safe Boot would be pressing and holding the shift key at boot chime, and until a horizontal progress bar shows on the screen. At the eventual login screen, after you type your password — press and hold the shift key — press the right arrow to login, and release the shift key after the Finder menu bar appears. Then reboot normally.
I have created a new document. Dragged and dropped an image into it and saved. Exited Pages. Reopening worked fine. Deleted the image, and proceeded through the following steps, punctuated by save, exit, reopen, and deliberate image removal. Different .jpg image each time. About mid-way through the following item list, I rebooted the MBA just to throw some "spin" into the process. I did not perform a Safe Boot prior to this series of tests.

Randomly Records are missing from R/3 to BW

Hi all,
I have a Employee Cube, which maintains Daily time sheet (Empid, workingday, Working Hours etc..) of each employee.
For Employee Cube, deltas are running daily basis. In R/3 side all data is available.
Problem is I missed randomly some data records for each employee from R/3 to BW.
I did some full loads , put selection conditions (Empid =009223, calday=04092005) , it loads missed data successfully for that date .
To laod like this for each employee it is very much painful.
Why (0cats_is_1)standard R/3 extractor not picking up all data? What is the solution for this? Advise me.
Please help me. It is little bit urgent.

Hi Sri,
Update mode "C" is to check the data for the Initialization of the delta.
Update mode "D" is to check the data for delta since last request.
Update mode "R" is to check the data for repeat of the last delta.
This mode must no longer be supported by the extractor under the following conditions:
1. The system has an R/3 Release >= 4.0B
2. The extractor is completely roll back-capable within an extraction process, meaning that no database-commit takes place in the extractor.
Update mode "S" is for Simulate the initialization of the delta.If an extractor is called in this mode, it is not permitted to deliver any data. Its only job is to make sure that for this request, the delta mode ('D') is possible for any following requests.
Example The extractor uses a time stamp stored in an administration table to determine the delta. In the delta mode, only those records that have been changed or generated since the last extraction are actually transferred. In mode 'S', the current time stamp is included in the administration table, but no data is transferred into BW.

Records are missing in the File which XI has placed in Target FTP server

I have a scenario where in XI is transfering the files from ECC to Target System . No transformation required here . I am using AAE to run this scenario.
Issue i am facing here is that i can see few records missing in the File which XI had placed in the Target system FTP server . Same file if i check it in archive folder of ECC (which XI has archived after picking the file), complete set of records are present for the same file.
Need your inputs please....
Note : XI is using AAE to transfer the files and no mapping . Also i tried to check out the audit logs in the channel monitoring . Unforutanely i was not able to see the logs to check the bytes that was transferred while readng and writing the file . Sometimes i have faced audit logs issue in PI 7.1

I would like to validate 4Th column to be a valid color (ie) All color should be in a specific list, if it is not in the lis then the record should do to bad/discard file

Is SQL Loader a mandatory requirement for some reason?

Records are missing in KONV tables.

I have created an invoice and saved it.
In displaying mode, all the condition types are present but in print preview the condition types are missing.
Checked in the KONV table, the records for the condition types are missing.
I dont know why they are missing in the KONV table. And if missing how they are present in the invoce but absent in the print preview.

It cannot happen and is not possible.
You are doing some mistake while looking at KONV and if the values are not printing in the form, then there is some problem in the coding.
You have to use VBRK-KNUMV as KONV-KNUMV and then see the details.
If you want to see values at item level pricing, then apart from the above logic, use KONV-KPOSN as VBRK-POSNR.
Even after this if you are not finding values in KONV, please let me know.

IDOC:Master Data Records are not going to be updated after posting the IDOC

I need to create employee Master data records in R/3 .I am using the IDOC HRMD_A07, though the IDOC posting is successful no tables, corresponding to employee master Data are getting updated,
Can anybody plz Let me know the possible reasons and solutions for this?

hi i hecked the job log entries in SM37 in source system, the idocs were returned with '0' records. i took the Idoc number and checked in BD87 it displays some logs in that one node shows the red status with the detail as follow IDoc entries in tRFC queue 3383
the next one is green Data passed to port OK 1
i selected the red staus node and clicked 'process' button but it displays as
The operation cannot be carried out with this node type
wht should i do now, wht may be the reason for the datasource not pulling the data from R/3 to BI?

We have an issue in our ECC6.0 system. In FPP1/FPP2/FPP3 transactions General data fields such as Driver's license, SSN, Employee class are missing under Identification tab. But the same are displayed in BP transaction code. What configuration would causing this issue.

I found a SAP Note 844949 which is talking about the same kind of issue. As per the note I regenerated subscreen containers for application object BUPA.
Call transaction BUSP and generate the subscreen containers for the application objects BUPA, FICA and BUPR. To do this, set the "All screens" indicator under "Generate All Screens or Just Selected Screens".
If this does not correct the incorrect display, use transaction BUPT for the business partner or transaction CAWM for the contract account to make sure that the fields are not missing due to the field modifications. (If you cannot call these transactions, exit the SAP Easy Access menu by using /n and then call BUPT or CAWM.

Data Records are missing in between while loading from R/3 (ECC) to BI.
