Database query failing...no idea why...please help?

Hello all,
This is an addendum to the post I placed here yesterday.
Here are the nuts and bolts:
I have created two successful prototype test pages for my photo gallery. Ine displays thumbnails, one displays the full-size image and has navigation. works flawlessly. The query is sent to my test database which has only one table, 'images'.
Now that I'm working to fully complete this gallery in order to do remote testing, I have taken the exact code from my prototype files and have integrated it into my new pages. I also created a new database which has 7 tables. As I perform my local testing, I am only using one table (for the moment), 'photos1'.
I have updated the code in my query file and in the main page code to use the proper user account information, database name and table name. Yet, when I test locally, I get, 'Sorry, database unavailable'
When I created my new, larger database, I added the query and admin user accounts to the new database. Still, I can't get in. I know it has got to be something simple, as the prototype works fine.
Does the query care how many tables are in a database?

No.
Did you develop your database on Windows and transfer it to a remote server running on Linux? Windows is case-insensitive, but Linux isn't. Because of this the Windows version of MySQL converts identifiers to lowercase. I can't remember off the top of my head whether it applies to database, table, and column names, or to just some of them. Anyway, I use lowercase for all of them to prevent any problems.

In activity monitor, are you looking at "all processes"? Sometimes you can be looking at only your processes... To see what is eating up power, you need to see all processes then sort on CPU... You should see something that accounts for your 56%.
If AM doesn't work well you can do the same thing from terminal:
Open a terminal (command prompt)
At the prompt type: top -o cpu
The screen will clear and start to paint a list of processes. The biggest CPU users will be at the top. The first column will be the process ID, the second will be the short name of the process. Waht do you see?

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect to your computer & click on the "Update your device using iTunes".

Are there any errors – if so, what are they?
Does it launch and then crash? If so, when exactly does the crash occur?
Does it crash right after launching the application or after the product splash screen or when you use a particular feature?
Does it crash on any specific module like Loading plugins, add-ons, fonts, etc?
Which OS do you have?
Please share the event viewer or console crash logs.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Your iPhone's iOS must be same or newer than the one in backups. In your case it is older so you need to update your iPhone and then recover it with backup.

Problem in Crystal Report 11 Logon failed Vendor Code 4060- Please help

We are using VB 6.0 as front end, SQL 2005 Express edition as a data base server back end and crystal report 11 as reporting tool on Windows XP with SP2. The problem is, In the local system where DB exits the report generates fine. But if DB in network system the report will not work and it will ask for connection information (Provide necessary information to Logon to the chosen data source). We are using ODBC to connect the report. And if we give the correct password the report will generate
I have checked all your help file and sample code but solution not found. please help as soon as possible

Hi Karthik,
Ensure the report is using the correct connection information. For example, the data source name, server name, database name, and user name are correct.
In a database-client test tool, ensure that the fields, tables, and procedures used by the report exist and that SQL queries can be executed against them.
In the Crystal Reports designer, verify that the SQL query, as shown under the Database menu Show SQL Query option, does not contain syntax errors.
If the SQL query shown in Crystal Reports is valid, execute the same SQL query through a database-client test tool.
Is report working fine in designer?
Which database connection are you using?

Nedd your help for aceesing database in minisap 4.6 d (please help)

hi all sap masters please help me.
i have installed the minisap 4.6d system in the windows 200 prof os.
i had the following problem in my minisa access.
while Displaying table contents with transactions SE11 or SE16
gives an error "No changes on SAP objects allowed".
while Accessing the logical database F1S gives a syntax error because the
include DBF1SF01 is missing.
so i have used the mbspatch1 that comes with the cd.
i have copied the mbscorr0104200 file in the directory '<MBS_DIR>\trans\tmp' as mentioned.
and i have followed the steps as follows.but i have the same problem.please have a look at the
process below and hel me to make it work roerly.
this roblem is really eating me a lot and since many in this forum are sap master,thought
you all can help me please.

then i have done the generate program step .
(4) Generate programs:
     - Logon as user BCUSER to the MBS system.
     - Start transaction SE38.
     - Enter the program 'SAPLSTRD' and select 'Program -> Generate'.
     - Enter the program 'SAPDBF1S' and select 'Program -> Generate'.
while generating the second program i got the error Accessing the logical database F1S gives a
syntax error because the include DBF1SF01 is missing.
hope somebody could have got the same problem.so please help me with your experience.iam new to this
minisap problems.
again all the roblem of acessing the tables exit even after doing the steps.
hope i have explained my problem very clearly.
please find where i went wrong or suggest some help to acess the datadase tables with the minisap cd.

i have data like below:

Now i need to caluclate MRR % column values as below
for 2012 Q2 MRR % = (Q2MRR-Q1MRR)/Q1*100 that is (30-10)/10*100
for 2012 Q3 MRR % = (Q4MRR-Q3MRR)/Q2*100
for 2012 Q4 MRR %= (Q1MRR-Q4MRR)/Q1*100 here q1 of 2013 and q4 of 2012...
like this it wll go on..
Please help with me query compute values in MRR % column.

Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

I am now looking to use ipads as viewing stations instead of laptops my problem is is that i dont know how to link everything up without the internet. icloud would be the best way but alot of hotels that i go to you cant get signal so that makes me stuck.
I previously created a network using a roughter and eternet cables.
