Databases difference tool not showing the report

Hi,
I had an issue with the sqldeveloper "+difference between databases+" tool looking like it was working but at the end of the process would not display any report.
in the logs, I could see the error : mainWindowOpened oracle.dbtools.crest.fcp.DataModelerAddin$1@75e6519f
after digging the web, I found that my issue is similar to the one described at Data Modeler Save and Save As not working and the same solution which is to enable the subversion plugin worked for me.
I have met this issue with sqldeveloper 3.1.06.82

Oh, and enabling SubVersion worked for me too, but obviously this should be addressed in another manner!

                    I've created two formula variable one for PO date and another for GR date
    while i am taking the date difference of GR and PO date for single PO date selection
    it showing me correct result , but while i am taking the date interval for PO date it not
    showing the correct result.
    eg: PO date: 01.01.2010   for a particular PO and Gr date is suppose 03.01.2010, 06.01.2010
          it showing the result 2 and 5.
    But if i am taking date interval for PO date:
    eg: 01.01.2010 - 31.01.2010
    PO date: 10.01.2010 and GR date are suppose 15.01.2010, 22.01.2010 and 30.01.2010

  • Browser not showing the report.

    Hi
    we have forms and reports developed using developer suite 10g.Our application server is with OS windows 2003
    and database is oracle 11g on vista 64 bit.
    Our client pc is vista and there was no probem we were able to generate forms and reports in mozilla firefox and IE.
    But for the past two days we are unable to view the report on the browser but report job is created successfully and
    downloaded to the client pc.
    we are doubting whether any security settings have been changed suddenly since we updated and installed latest mozilla firefox.
    If we run the forms from developer suite 10g everything works fine and the report also opens in the browser.
    Please help and what is the solution for this sudden change.we are getting error "<local host name> is not set up to establish a connection on port 8889 with this computer.

    Hai,
    Check In the mozilla Tools-->Options-->Applications.
    Check the Default Action Of Acrobat Documents, And Make Sure The Acrobat Reader Is Installed In The PC.
    Also Make Sure, No Popup Blockers Are Working.
    Because some addon toolbars have popup blockers. so if is there any add the Url in the exception list or if that toolbar is not that much necessary, then uninstall that.

  • IWeb tool not showing the Navigation Bar, but published site does!?!?!

    I recently installed Leopard, reinstalled iLife08 and copied over my website and was able to reopen in iWeb08. The issue I am having is that I can move/resize the area containing the navigation...I just cannot see the text inside iWeb!!!
    If I publish the site, the test is still there, visible and working...
    ..but inside iWeb I cannot read/alter (or even see) the navigation text. This will become an issue as I add new pages...it kinda defeats the purpose of a WYSIWYG editor
    I'm sure this is something silly...Does anyone have any ideas??

    not sure what you mean or are asking - everything was working in Chrome fine, and still does in browser preview in chrome and live in safari and IE.
    All assets are in Edge, packaged into a "OAM" which I then have placed in Muse and publish from there (again preview from Muse is working fine in Muse and also Preview in Browser/Chrome - I have tried on different machines as well just in case but it doesnt work on any mac or pc Chrome Broswer)
    Hosting is all through Adobe Business Catalyst.

    SujaiS, ironically enough I just tried saving the Edge project as a new project, prublish the OAM files again (havent changed anything in the project), open Muse, re-published the site and now it is working in Chrome again!

  • Field Explorer in Crystal Reports does not show the same names as Bex Query

    I have crystal reports, I can retrieve data from BW Bex Query. But in the field explorer it does not show the names as in the Bex query designer.
    In the Bex query designer a field will have the following technical name 0Debitor and the description is Customer.
    It shows in crystal reports in the field explorer twice as D[0DEBITOR]D and D[0DEBITOR]D. It also does not seperate key figures and characteristics.
    I would like it to display the field explorer as shown in this blog.

    make sure you are using the MDX Driver and what happens is that you will see several fields per characteristic. example: one for the key, one for the description, several if modelled for the display attributes

    I am running report from report from forms 6i but is does not show the data in main section, where as the data in the header section is ok.
    But when i run the same report independantly from report builder it show the both header and main section with relevent data.

    can you tell me more about this, you might check if you are using different users when you call this report or if the user has all privileges to see all tables in this report

    I have added web element in Crystal report for SAP system (BI or R/3) . But it does not show the control. It shows only scipt.It does not render the HTML.
    But if I add the webelement for Excel sheet ,It shows the control.
    How can I add web element for SAP System? Can't we use web controls in SAP system ?

    I have a similar problem. I found out that my macbook air created a new USER with my former's computer user name. You can check that by going into System Preferences -> User & Groups, and see if a "Other user" has been created. You have to login under this new USER to find your transferred contacts in the address book.
    My problem is that I do not know how to merge the 2 USER logins or transfer the data from the new USER created into the existing one.

    There is a requirement do not show the null (#) values at report level for characterstics fro example for onedocument there is no notification type in report for that document it is coming with null value but i do not want that null value in report it should be blank
    any suggestions  please,mostly provide the information at report level,but at cube level any options at the time loading( through start routine)

      There is one tcode where u can keep ur symbol defined say blank  to show in report when null values occur... i didnt rememeber tcode i will tell you as soon i get it....
    but it will effect not only this query but all the queries so it is upto u....
    and at cube level u can write a routine to check ...
    if  this field value is initial .
       change it with blank
    else
      leave it.

  • Installer is not showing the correct Nodes in RAC

    Hi Experts,
    We are in the process of upgrade oracle database from 9.2.0.3 to 9.2.0.8 in RAC. While installing the 9.2.0.8 patch set it is not showing the correct database nodes, instead of it showing production database nodes, but we are doing doing it in test machine.
    Test Machine hostname:
    db1
    db2
    Prod machine hostname
    prod1
    prod2
    it showing the prod1 and prod2 only.
    please suggest us to solve this
    Note:
    We copy the oracle_home from prod to test for test database cloning.

    Then it is highly likely your RAC cluster is not correctly configured.
    Open an SR at metalink as the Cluster Verify tool does not exist for your old version.

  • Can not see the report in report manager/admin tab

    in 8.49 on Win 2003 some users can not see the reports in report manager/admin tab. PS user can see them.
    Should we add some grants in user profile ? Which ? Any query to compare that user profile with PS ?

    On the administration page, you will be able to see "View Reports For" header on the top.
    Under that header you will see the following fields:
    User ID/Type/Last/Status/Folder /Instance
    Above values will be used by PeopleSoft to filter and display the list of reports
    If the user has selected Status as Processing and saved the page, PeopleSoft will only show reports which are in Processing status.
    If user runs a report and it has been posted, it will not show up in report manager coz the filter value is set to Processing.
    Hope this helps. I dont think Permissions has anything to do with this since user is able to view the page.

  • Import option is not showing the Data Source created using ODBC

    I'm new to OBIEE, just installed OBIEE 10g in my system with the help of some reply from this Forum (thanks to Kalyan for this).
    Now when I tried to create new rpd, the Import option is not showing the Data source I have created. I have created new Datasource in the SystemDSN tab of the ODBC Administrator window,I have tried this by creating the Datasource in the UserDNS tab as well.
    Mine is Windows 7 Ultimate. The new data source which I have created through the ODBC Administrator window is to connect to SQL 2008 (I'm trying to get some table from SQL 2008 database), I don't have Oracle data base.
    While creating the Data source ODBC Administrator is showing only two drives (SQL Server and SQL Server Native Client 10.0 ) , so I have created the Data source using the SQL Server Native Client 10.0 drive.
    Can some one help me to understand the issue and to solve it.

  • I am installing snow leopard on a new drive unformatted but it does not show the disk to install it on.? do i need to format first with one partition?

    I have installed a new drive on my mac book and more ram but the snow leopard install asks which to install the system on but then does not show the drive.
    do I have to partition it and name it first. -- if so just one partition?

    Do this:
    Drive Preparation
    1.  Boot from your OS X Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
    5. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
    6. Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
    When formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer.  Complete the OS X installation.
