DATAIMP-ERR-1124: Unable to import table "S_CS_ANSWR_LANG"

Hi all,
hopefully can someone here help me. I can not manage to make the Database Configuration successfully til now (already 2 months working on this, because I can't get help in any forum most of the time).
After creating tablespaces and running the grantusr.sql I run the Database Configuration Wizard. It stops on importing Siebel seed data (transl) and it gives me the following error in the log file data_prim_lang:

I guess that the command line I executed to drop some tablespaces (SIEBELINDEX and SIEBELDATA) dropped the links to these tablespaces and the table which causes the error. I used for that:
drop tablespace siebelindex including contents
and datafiles cascade constraints;
Can someone confirm me, if this can cause the error?. I am not an Oracle specialist.
I would really appreciate if somebody helps me. I am itrying to do this since months on Windows. Installed already the Oracle Client as well, Database connection works.
What should I do in this case if the Wizard doesn't run anymore because of this error?...I wouldn't like to install and reinstall what I already installed (Siebel Gateway, Siebel Enterprise, Siebel DB, etc. it's a lot of work and stress. Please help me :-(.

I suggest you the following:
1. recreate your tablespaces to make sure there is no previous data imported or tables created.
2. rerun grantusr.sql
3. make a backup of all master_*.ucf files under siebsrvr/bin folder
4. delete all master_*.ucf files under siebsrvr/bin folder
5. make a backup of the siebsrvr/log/install folder.
6. remove the siebsrvr/log/install folder.
7. launch the db config wizard and check if it works now.
I suspect there is some old parameter being used from your previous tablespaces.
If above is not helpful, provide the contents of the log file generated when process failed and upgwiz.log.
Hope it helps,
Wilson

  • Unable to import table or columns in OBIEE 11G RPD

    Hi All,
We are unable to import table into the RPD using OCI 10G/11G to import the table then the import box open but we are unable to see the tables below the schema name. When we use ODBC 3.5 and created a DSN for the database then we are able to see all the tables and import them. But the problem here is that when we are using window server 7 64 bit to install client and then importing the table ODBC is not working fine as well.
Please note that we are using OBIEE 11G which is installed on unix box and we connect to RPD using client installed on windows server.
Appreciate all the help in advance.
    Thanks,
    Mohit

    Hi Sayak,
This means we need to installed Oracle client to resolve this problem. Can you please share if you have some knowledge regarding the same.

I'm using BusinessObjects Data Services XI 12.2.2. I am trying to import table to BW datastores QA environment but unfortunately it's failing. Can someone help me? Below is the error message that I get:
RFC CallReceive error <Function RFC_ABAP_INSTALL_AND_RUN: . SAP System has status 'not modifiable'. The problem may go away if you change the SAP datastore property to Execute in background(batch)>.
I already set the Execute in background(batch) to Yes but it also failed to import.
    Please advice.

  • OBIA / OBIEE Unable to Import Tables to DAC

    hi all,
When I am trying to import tables or synonyms from the DAC console , it brings up only views like the _DFV which are views.
It does not import any tables or synonyms.
I am able to connect to the database thru sql developer /toad and can check that the tables exist in DB.
The process I follow is DAC -> Design -> Tables -> Click any of the table line and 'right Click' -> Choose 'Import from Database' -> Choose 'Import Database Tables' -> Choose the EBS data source and just enter a % on the table name filter -> click on 'Read Tables'
it brings up the _DFVs / views but doesnt show up any tables or synonyms.
Plz help if anyone has resolved this issue.

    hi all,
I am learning soa 11g development by myself which is quite exciting stuff.
I am trying to build a simple flow to access database so I have dropped a database adapter in composite.xml and trying to configure the adapter.
I have successfully tested the database connection within the adapter configuration wizard and can list the tables as well. But when I am selecting a table to import then I don't see any table imported in Step-5.
It doesn't show me any error. I have tried with other tables and also with other databases but can't import the tables.
    Any advice will be appreciated.

  • Unable to import table in owb 9.2

i am using warehouse builder 9.2 and database 9i R2
the source databse is also oracle 9i R2
when i create a source module to import the required tabe metadata i found that
some table did not apper in the available objects
i discovered that for those tables there exist a materialized view with the same table name
    for example
there is a table named emp and a materialized view emp on the source schema .
so what i have to do in order to import the table definition
    thanks

Hi, I have not tested this but try renaming the Materialized view to e.g. mv_emp. This is a good idea anyhow. I didn't know one could reuse the object name of a table for an MV - a little confusing, since an MV is also more or less a table object.
    Good luck, Erik Ykema

  • Unable to import metadata using OBI 11g Admin tool

    Hello folks,
I am new to OBI. I am trying to build a RPD. For that purpose I am trying to import some tables from database but I am unable to. I created DSN and also tried using OCI but no help. The OBI Admin tool client and database is installed under other user's account. Is that the reason I am unable to import tables?
    I am getting this error:

Can someone shed some light on this issue.

Use Call Interface: Default (OCI 10g/11g)
Data source Name->hostname:port/ServiceName or TNS name
    like
    localhost:1521/XE
make sure you able to ping connect the database using tnsentry or
    tnsping <tnsname>
    from command prompt.

how to change NCHAR set for import.
    Thanks

    Hello,
which & how i can set character set for import.About the Character Set, it's a setting at the Database creation. You may check it by using the following query on the Source and Target Databases:
select * from v$nls_parameters; The NLS_CHARACTERSET will give you the Character set of the Database.
It cannot be changed easily. It may imply a Database creation and export/import of data ( see Note *225912.1* ).
Else, when you export (with the Original Export/Import utility) it's recommended to set the NLS_LANG parameter.
The NLS_LANG parameter has 3 components:
    - Language
    - Territory
    - Client Character Set
A wrong setting of the NLS_LANG may lead to conversion. However starting with *9i* most data is exported with the Character Set of the Database regardless the NLS_LANG setting. The following note may give you some details about it:
Export/Import and NLS Considerations [ID 15095.1]Hope this help.

  • ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "FLOW_SESSION"

    Hi Guys,
I installed on the weekend HTMLDB on our new development server and installed version 1.5.1.0.12 (Oracle 10.1.0.3)
I imported our workspaces and applications.
However we are getting the err-1002 in the following scenario.
    - logon to htmldb as a developer.
    - run application
    - Login page is show (as this is a secure application)
    - Login with a test user account. We have setup our own aurhentication scheme, with our own user account table.
    - Click login button and we get Error ERR-1002 Unable to find item ID for item "FLOW_SESSION" in application "113".
The only way to get around it is to setup a user account in our own user account table with the same name as your developer account or create a developer account in HTMLDB for the "test user account". I have set myself as a user in the "application account table".
But wait there is more. The "work a round" gets me in. Now I select the logout button and get the login page again.
I then try to login as the test user and get in ok.
Any idea what is happening here??

  • JDBC Lookup - Import table data from a different schema in same DB

    Hi XI Experts,
We are facing an issue while importing a Database table into the external definition in PI 7.1.
    The details are as below:
I have configured user 'A' in PI communication channel to access the database. But the table that I want to access is present in schema "B". Due to this, I am unable to view the table that I have to import in the list available.
In other words, I am trying to access a table present in a different schema in the same database. Please note that my user has been given all the required permissions to access different schema. Even then, I am unable to access the table in different schema.
Kindly provide your valuable suggestions as to how I can import table which is present in another schema but in the same Database.
    Regards,
    Subbu

If you are using PI 7.1, then you can do JDBC Lookup to import JDBC meta data (table structures from DB). Configure a jdbc receiver communication channel where you specify username and password which has permission to access schema A and Schema B of database. Specify database name in the connection string. Then you might have access to import both schema.
    Please refer these links
