'DataSet1' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level.

Hello,
I am sorry if this has been asked elsewhere but i can't seem to find an answer that will help me.
I am using visual studio 2013 and a data connection database from Microsoft access called RFID.mdb (which i made by editing the sample Northwind.mdb file)
I have followed the Microsoft tutorials on how to connect a database and make a data set and i know have the database and dataset in the solution explorer,
All i simply want to do is load the data i have from a text file into this database, i can load the data from the text file but i cannot seem to get the data into the data set so i can add it to the data base.
The error i get is on
'RFIDDataSet1' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level. On line 24 and 29.
I have tried removing the "1" as suggested and this gave me "Reference to a non-shared member requires an object reference."
I am not sure what i am doing wrong or what could be wrong, could anyone offer some help?
I am using visual basic.
Code:
Imports System.IO
Public Class Form1
    Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
        Dim fileReader As String
        fileReader = My.Computer.FileSystem.ReadAllText("C:\gobetwino\Project\testlog.txt")
        MsgBox(fileReader)
        If File.Exists(fileReader) Then
            Dim iofile As New StreamReader(fileReader)
            Dim ioline As String
            Dim DandT, Reader, Id
            ioline = iofile.Readline
            While Not ioline = ""
                Dim mysplit = Split(ioline, ";")
                DandT = mysplit(0)
                Reader = mysplit(1)
                Id = mysplit(2)
                Dim newImportRow As RFIDDataSet.ImportRow
                newImportRow = RFIDDataSet.Import.NewImportRow()
                newImportRow.DateTime = DandT
                newImportRow.ReaderNum = Reader
                newImportRow.TagNum = Id
                RFIDDataSet1.Import.Rows.Add(newImportRow)
            End While
        End If
    End Sub
End Class
Error lines:
newImportRow = RFIDDataSet1.Import.NewImportRow()
RFIDDataSet1.Import.Rows.Add(newImportRow)

I already have a dataset when I connected the database.
In my solution window I have:
RFID.mbd (which has a single table called "Import" with the sections "DateTime", "ReaderNum" & "TagNum")
RFIDDataSet.xsd
What I am mainly trying to do is load the data from the text file "testlog.txt" to the database RFID.mdb.
I have been following the Microsoft tutorial and it said to use a dataset.
Thus my code currently now looks like this:
Imports System.IO
Public Class Form1
Dim RFIDDataSet As New RFIDDataSet
Dim ImportTableAdapter As New RFIDDataSetTableAdapters.ImportTableAdapter()
Private Sub Form1_Load(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
Dim fileReader As String
fileReader = My.Computer.FileSystem.ReadAllText("C:\gobetwino\Project\testlog.txt")
ImportTableAdapter.Fill(RFIDDataSet.Import)
MsgBox(fileReader)
If File.Exists(fileReader) Then
Dim iofile As New StreamReader(fileReader)
Dim ioline As String
Dim DandT, Reader, Id
ioline = iofile.Readline
While Not ioline = ""
Dim mysplit = Split(ioline, ";")
DandT = mysplit(0)
Reader = mysplit(1)
Id = mysplit(2)
Dim newImportRow As RFIDDataSet.ImportRow
newImportRow = RFIDDataSet.Import.NewImportRow()
newImportRow.DateTime = DandT
newImportRow.ReaderNum = Reader
newImportRow.TagNum = Id
RFIDDataSet.Import.Rows.Add(newImportRow)
End While
MsgBox("Update successful")
End If
End Sub
End Class
I am not sure if what I am doing is correct because the program now shows the results in the message box instead of "Update Successful".
Does this help in finding out what I am doing wrong when trying to load the data from my text file into a dataset which I then plan to use to update the database RFID.mdb

  • Variable not declared?

    I have a problem that’s driving me crazy. I apologize if this is beginner stuff, but I don’t know what to do.
    It’s an ASP.NET Web Application. I’m using VS2013 Pro. I have a Web Form, WebForm1.aspx. It looks like this:
        <%@ Page Language="vb" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeBehind="WebForm1.aspx.vb"
    Inherits="WebApplication2.WebForm1" %>
        <!DOCTYPE html>
        <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
        <head runat="server">
            <title></title>
        </head>
        <body>
            <form id="form1" runat="server">
            <div>
                <%
                    Response.Write(MyVar)
                %>
            </div>
            </form>
        </body>
        </html>
    The code behind, WebForm1.aspx.vb, looks like this:
        Public Class WebForm1
            Inherits System.Web.UI.Page
            Public MyVar = "Blah Blah"
            Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load
            End Sub
        End Class
    And the error message I’m getting is: ' MyVar ' is not declared. It may be inaccessible due to its protection level. The error is in WebForm1.aspx.
    Most maddening, sometimes it works, sometimes I get the error message.
    What am I doing wrong?

    I'm just new to XMLP and am receiving the same error.. My error is occuring when trying to use sub-templates in my master template.
    I believe I have the syntax correct:
    To import template file:
    <?import:file:h:///CN_LTR_TEMPLATES.rtf?>
    to call the sub-template:
    <?call-template: signature:?>
    Its the call-template to signature thats generating my error message.. My only thought is that its not calling my import properly..
    Anyway.. Hope this might help you a bit.. you never mentioned anything about using a sub-templates. Perhaps since you formated your computer, your template may be in a different location or gone all together (that is if you are using sub-templates).
    If i figure anything out in the mean time, i'll let you know..

  • Html elements not declared as items ?

    Hello !
    Related to that thread (Reusing existing htp pages my question :
    Is there a chance to use html elements which are not declared as items (added a manually in html region…) ? I tried to cheat a bit by naming it p_t100 for example. Indeed, “p_t100” is accepted by the wwv_flow.accept procedure (no miss match error message). But, I’m unable to get back the posted value in an “after submit” process.
    Thank you in advance
    Pat

    Pat,
    It is not recommended you add your own HTML form elements to HTML DB pages. You point out one of the main reasons yourself. May I ask why you feel compelled to do this?

    solved:: we need to use coherence::cast

    Your first step should be to try without yaourt (or any other AUR helper). Those may be convenient but they are not recommended for troubleshooting. See if you can reproduce it with makepkg.
    EDIT: Post on the AUR page. xxdiff doesn't compile here either.

  • Error during transport: Method is not declared + Component missing

    HI
    I got 2 errors when I transport:

    The data object 'LS_ET_DETAILS' does not have a component called 'ZZ_MATR_LEV_DATO'.
    1)
    When I go to Class Builder (SE24), and make a syntax check for ZCL_ZGW_VH_ORDER_DETAI_DPC_EXT, I got the error:
    Class ZCL_ZGW_VH_ORDER_DETAI_DPC_EXT,Protected section

    The code looks like this

    2)
    If I go to include ZCL_ZGW_VH_ORDER_DE_01_DPC====CM006 (in SE38), I am navigated to method: DETSET_GET_ENTITYSET (That was the missing method in error 1). When I do a syntax check, I got the error message:

    Then I double click at ls_gw_et_details-zz_matr_lev_dato, and got the data statement: DATA ls_gw_et_details LIKE LINE OF et_entityset.
    When I double click at et_entityset, I see that the et_enityset is type ZCL_ZGW_VH_ORDER_DE_01_MPC=>TT_ORDDET. Now I double click at TT_ORDDET I got the public section, where I can see that ZZ_MATR_LEV_DATO is already specified.

    Hi Ron Sargeant,
    I'm having a kind of similar issue. I have 3 entities, they were already mapped to theirs respective RFC. In the RFC, a couple of fields changed their name so the mapping got lost. I did again the mapping and there was no errors on 2 of the 3 entities. For other reasons, I had to delete the third entitiy, I deleted it and created it again and there was no problems, I do the mapping and everything was apparently fine, when I tried to "Generate Runtime Objects" it throws me an error with the next message: "Failed to create data provider class". If I try to Generate the service again, it throws me another error message: "The class ZCL_xxx_xx_xxxxxx_DPC is locked. Process canceled". I'm sure I've not edited or deleted the DPC class. If I try to access the DPC class from the tx SE24 it tells me that the object it's not created, and the class still appears in the list of Runtime Artifacts in tx SEGW.
    I'd like to know if you've got any idea of what may happen, or I'd also like to be sure that if I delete the DPC class and the DPC_EXT class, it will be regenerated again by the Service Builder.

  • Since I downloaded the upgraded software, my charger that came with my phone says "this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iphone"  It worked before but now it doesn't...I don't think I should have to buy a new one...

    since I upgraded to the new operating system my charger no longer works...
    It says"this cable or accessory is not certified and may not work reliably with this iPhone"

    Try checking your cable socket/lightning cable for dirt, grime, pocket lint, etc. I could not find the solution to this issue myself and after much searching I found someone stating that cleaning this out helped them immensely.
    After taking a wooden toothpick (making sure the phone was OFF first) and gently clearing out the edges and inside of the lightning socket this went away.) It is worth noting that I had a significant amount of dust or lint buildup along the edge rails which I think was causing the iphone to believe it was plugged into something when it was not.
    Try it and see, ensure you are very careful and do not use any conductive tools to clean the area in question. Compressed air also does wonders here.

    Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    For more information on this, take a look at:

    Declare them in the namespace :)

  • Photo will not upload my pictures from the same camera that always worked in IPhoto.  Says "could not be imported (may be unrecognized file type or files may not contain valid data).  So how do I do it?

    Photo will not upload new photos from same camera that always worked in IPhoto.  Says "could not be uploaded )may be unrecognized file type or files may not contain valid data).  Help!

    Try image capture or a card reader - after the photos are safely on your Mac then use the camera's format command to reformat the memory card
