Date format wrong in 'To Do Lists' in UK format

All my preferences are set to UK format date dd/mm/yyyy. However, the To Do List does not accept this format. i.e. 31/08/2010 is not accepted and 01/09/2010 is listed as 9th January 2010.
Any solutions out there, help much appreciated.

Sorry, i'm french and i can't also use european format dates.
Even worst, i can't use today or tomorrow in dates as THEY ARE ENGLISH WORDS .

Steps to take to resolve this issue:
1/ Turn off Wifi
2/ Ensure Mobile (cellular) data is on
3/ Turn iPhone OFF and then ON (re-boot iPhone)
4/ Without turning Wifi on, open an app that requires mobile (cellular) data.
5/ The app will now show on the Settings list with the option to enable or disable mobile (cellular) data
6/ In time all apps that require or use mobile data will be added to the list automatically.

Can Pages 4.3 maintain defined text formatting for at a given list level?

I'm hoping the answer to this question is a simple 'duh' solution that I some how over looked. I'm using Pages 4.3 and I am trying to create a tiered list to organize ideas into different sublevels. I want to be able to write at a particular level, then create sub levels (return -> tab) with different formatting so the levels are easily distinguished at a glance. When I move back to the higher levels (return -> shift + tab), Pages maintaines the text formatting I used at the lower level, rather than returning to the previously used format at the higher level. For example, what I want is ....
Main 1             --- (Return -> Tab)
Sub 1             --- (Return -> Shift +Tab)
Main 2
What I get is...
Main 1             --- (Return -> Tab)
Sub 1             --- (Return -> Shift +Tab)
Main 2
This means that anytime I move up or down in the tiers of a list, I need to redefine the formatting for each new bullet. I tried creating my own list styles, but that does not appear to preserve changes made to fonts or sizes. This seems like such a simple function and time saver that I feel like I must be doing something wrong. It has been a while since I used pages, but I don't remember having these problems before. Does pages really require one to reset the formatting everytime the move between list levels?

So your suggestion is to create the pricing in ECC and then download it in CRM...
Now tat would mean that first the mapping has to be performed in ECC for the existing paroducts and product category..then create pricing for those mapped prod. cat. in ECC and then download it to CR M..plz correct me if I am wrong...

List of file format (banking)

Hi,
To make an incoming payment with cheque i realize the followings steps:
i open incoming payment window,i select business partner,i select invoices,i click on payment Means and in the cheque tab i select Contry ,the Bankname,however when i click on Branch or account a new windows named List of file format appears and is empty.
my question is how to make the data appear in List of file format (Branch column and Account column)?

List of file formats is the window name which is coming while entering the bank details. But you should first define the complete bank set up which will be then display in this window at the time of incoming payment. You just define the banks in administrantion --> bank set up. its branch and account no......

I have a requirement to change the existing abap report in which teh output is dispalyed in classical list format.
I want to convert this list report output into ALV format.

This will be very difficult for you.....
Since you are getting a time out error....it looks like, you are runnning this report in foreground....................
Try running it in background it will work...
ELSE....you have to fetch in small chunks....but the question is how will you do it. Since the USR02 only has BNAME as primary key...
Either put the BNAME as part of selection screen and fetch the data.....it will solve your problem....
Only fetch for those BNAME which is entered in the selection screen...

However they now want to just display the asset and not in a
data grid but as a horizontal list and I have tried and tried to
look for an effective example of this and how to make it work.

HorizontalList is what you're looking for. But that alone
won't do. You'll need to write a custom renderer.
Search in the Flex Build helper for how to implement custom
renderer. Essentially, each row that you see in the grid would be
passed to each element in the horizontal list and you can use any
<mxml> or actionscript based component as renderer.

SharePoint 2010 Present Wrong Timezone for External List of External Content Type

External content is hosted on an independent SQL server DB from the SharePoint server. External content lists shows datetime fields 5 hours earlier as opposed to Eastern standard time but Web parts display data correctly.
Yes, timezones on both servers are correct. Timezones settings in SharePoint have been checked and all appear correct. There are several places for settings. Is there a checklist in case something was missed. Our SharePoint administrator has
looked for the cause and cannot determine.
I poured through other blogs and issues with external content and timezone on this site including "External Content Type Saving Dates in UTC".
Please provide a list for timezone settings such as global settings for a site, collection, external content, SharePoint 2010 designer settings, Central Administration settings, etc.

To show the list in complete format when creating an background job

Hi ,
I need to show the list in full format when after running a report in background.
In sm37 after the job run the the full list is not shown.
when I click on 'Show complete list 'it will show the complete list.
My requirement is I want this option in default .Is there any thing we can do by configuration or is there any chance of enhancement

It is one of the standard setting provided by SAP for extracting spool output.In most of the case it is sufficient. Incase of special requirement we can do as below.
In SM37,open the spool and click the icon Display in Maximum Width or (Shift+F4). Then the complete list will be displayed.

How can I share data between two forms on different lists

Using a custom content type, I created two lists that I want to share the same data - one is a calendar. Our employees complete a form from the "Out of Office Request" list that has workflow functionality that sends an email to that person's
manager. If the manager approves the request, the item automatically populates the "Out of Office Calendar." The problem is that the only information from the request list that populates the calendar is the Title field and date/time fields.
I need the manager name in order to create a view for each manager.
How can I connect the other information in the request list to the calendar list. It seems to me that if the title and date fields carry over the information, there should be a way to connect the other information. I'm using Designer.
I've tried to connect the two lists' webparts with the wizard, but when I get to the page that maps the two lists, there are no column names and the "Next >" button is grayed out. This seems like the logical place to connect the two lists,
but it isn't working.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted share data between two forms on different lists.
To show external information on the calendar event, there are two methods: Calculated column, workflow. You can refer to:
A Simple Guide to Show More Information on a Calendar Event
I recommend to use workflow to achieve what you want. But you need to create a people column to display the manager.
You can create a workflow associated to the "Out of Office Request" list, add action to Start Approve Process. If the manager approves the request, you can create a item in the calendar, and then update the people column and the title column.
Then the calendar will display the Title, date/time and the manager.
To create a view for each manager, you need to modify the Filter. You can use the people column is equal to the manager name or the Title contains the manager name.

Sounds like a hardware failure.
Make an appointment at the genius bar and take it in for them to look at. It will probably need to be replaced.

I think you have to click on the "Full Administration" button t see the option for "Page Formats"...
Also go to transaction SPAD,
in Devices / Servers tab press Output devices button
Double click on the device type of your printer
Press button Formats
and here you get a list of all formats for your printer

Printing ABAP list in portrate format

In one of requirement I wanted to print a report
in portate format on A4 size paper. Report has been created with use of write statement only.
When I checked print properties it shows only standard some page format(all are landscape).I even tried by creating custom portate format for ABAP list.
Please anybody suggest the way to take printout of ABAP list in portrate format.

Hi Amit,
check the line count and line size of your repor. And try with the line size = 80 and line count = 0. Then while printing the page format will be determined based on these variable to print the report.
If the report length is lange then you cannot print in the portate format.
