DB Adapter not returning all columns from a sql table type

Using Soa Suite 10.1.3.4.
Calling DB Adapter from bpel to a database package procedure with an OUT NOCOPY parameter based on a TABLE OF type.
It works fine except that I only get the first 14 columns out of 55.
Can query all columns from Sqldeveloper or Sqlplus.
XML skema reflects all columns correct.
Same result without NOCOPY in parameter.
HaveI missed some details/limitations?

hi
here is how I solved it.

  • How to retrieve the values from PL/SQL table types.

    Hi Every one,
    I have the following procedure:
    DECLARE
    TYPE t1 IS TABLE OF emp%ROWTYPE
    INDEX BY BINARY_INTEGER;
    t t1;
    BEGIN
    SELECT *
    BULK COLLECT INTO t
    FROM emp;
    END;
    This procedure works perfectly fine to store the rows of employee in a table type. I am not able to retrieve the values from Pl/SQL table and display it using dbms_output.put_line command.
    Can anybody help me please!!!!!
    Thanks
    Ahmed.

    You mean, you can't add this
    for i in t.first..t.last loop
    dbms_output.put_line(t(i).empno||' '||t(i).ename||' '||t(i).job);
    end loop;or you can't add this
    set serveroutput onor maybe, you are working in third party application where dbms_output is not applicable at all?
    You see, not able like very similar it is not working - both are too vague...
    Best regards
    Maxim

  • Business Objects is not returning all rows from Query

    We set the rowcount to 1000000 and the business objects query only returns 16,960 rows.  We then uncheck the limit for the rowcount and the first run of the query returns 65,535.  The subsequent run of the query returns all the rows which is greater than 65,535.  We are on release 6.1A of business objects and selecting from Microsoft SQLServer 2005 in 2000 compatablility mode. We noticed that the rowcount being sent to SQLServer is replacing the set number with the 65,535 the first time the query is sent and subsiquent queries have the correct rowcount set.  What would be causing the rowcount to be reset and how can it be fixed?

    can anyone help in this matter.

  • Database Adapter does not generate proper output for PL/SQL table type

    Hi,
    I have a DB Adapter to invoke a stored procedure on Oracle which returns a table type.

    I assume it's the same issue with namespace prefix.
    If anyone has faced a similar issue or knows how to fix this, please let me know.

    I am using a DB adapter to run a stored procedure for a simple Select Query with a table as my out parameter.This creates an XSD when the partner link is created.The elementFormDefault=qualified is by default formed in the xsd.When i change it to unQualified it returns me compilation error.

    Can you please tell me why am i getiing null value in my output xml in my BPEL console??
    What is the solution?where do i need to change the db: prefix?

  • Database adapter not returning all the records

    I've taken over a BPEL from a developer who left the organization and have been having an issue during our User Acceptance Testing. We are querying a table that will return the insurance enrollment information for employee's and their dependants. When an employee change plans, or adds people, the old plan is terminated and a new once is created. When this happens there will be two records on the database to show the old plan and the new plan.
    When we run the SQL thru JDEV or SQLDeveloper, the data comes out fine. When we run it through a BPEL Database Adapter we are only getting one of the rows returned.
    I have created a small tester BPEL that is easily modified and deployed to run the same query to try multiple configurations changes within the DBAdapter. What I have found is all the records are returned when the "Return single result set" box on the DBAdapter Wizard is unchecked. When it's checked then it only returns one record for the employees with an old and a new plan.
    Can someone explain what the "Return single result set" option does, and what the impact will be if it's unchecked?

    Hello,
    In same way i am using two parent-child(header-line) tables. they have one to many relationship.
    I want to generate XML which contains multiple line items under a child elements for header elements.
    I have tried it but i am getting only one line under that child item. i am using jdev10.0.3.3.0
    can u help me please.

  • Linux client not returning all entries from LDAP

    We have Solaris and Linux systems using ODS 11.1.1.5.0 for login authentication. The Solaris clients see all the users with no problems, but the Linux systems are only seeing 2161 entries. I have SizeLimit set to 5000 and LookthroughLimit set to 30000 in ODS. There are VLV indexes created and Solaris is using them. When I do a getent passwd on Solaris I see this in the ODS logs :
    [08/May/2012:13:32:53 -0400] conn=7 op=9133 msgId=9134 - SRCH base="ou=people,o=tsg,o=ge.com" scope=2 filter="(&(tsgunixstatus=A)(|(tsgservergroup=USERS)(tsgservergroup=nec_dev)))" attrs="cn uid uidNumber gidNumber gecos description tsgunixhomedirectory tsgunixloginshell"
    [08/May/2012:13:32:53 -0400] conn=7 op=9133 msgId=9134 - SORT cn uid
    [08/May/2012:13:32:53 -0400] conn=7 op=9133 msgId=9134 - VLV 0:999:0:0 1:5857 (0)
    [08/May/2012:13:32:55 -0400] conn=7 op=9133 msgId=9134 - RESULT err=0 tag=101 nentries=1000 etime=2
    etc, until all the entries are returned. On Linux, the same getent passwd gets this in the ODS logs :
    [08/May/2012:13:12:19 -0400] conn=8189 op=1 msgId=2 - SRCH base="ou=people,o=tsg,o=ge.com" scope=2 filter="(&(objectClass=tsgposixaccount)(&(tsgunixstatus=A)(|(tsgservergroup=USERS)(tsgservergroup=nec_dev))))" attrs="uid userPassword uidNumber gidNumber cn tsglinuxhomedirectory tsglinuxloginshell gecos description objectClass"
    [08/May/2012:13:12:26 -0400] conn=8189 op=1 msgId=2 - RESULT err=11 tag=101 nentries=2161 etime=7 notes=U
    [08/May/2012:13:12:26 -0400] conn=8189 op=2 msgId=0 - RESULT err=80 tag=120 nentries=0 etime=0
    I see that Linux adds an extra (objectClass=tsgposixaccount) to the search filter, and I added VLV indexes for linux to match what is shown in the logs for the filter. The only piece I was not sure of was the Sort for the linux VLV, I used cn uid as Solaris uses.
    Is there something I need to do to get the VLV's to work with Linux clients? I do not want to set my SizeLimit or LookthroughLimit to unlimited if I do not have to. The /etc/ldap.conf for linux are pretty standard. I did add a pagesize 1000 and nss_paged_results yes but neither was any help.
    Thanks,
    Jay

    Hi Jay,
    just looking at the access log, the output of the first search (the one performed by the Solaris client) basically queries/handles the first 1000 records, whereas the second search (issued by the linux client) is getting far more results even though the search filter in theory is more restrictive (having a logical AND plus: &(objectClass=tsgposixaccount) )
    Did you by chance implemented the nsslapd-search-tune parameter in the dse.ldif, activating bits 8 and 16? We don't see the 'notes=F' that is generally applied when filters are skipped, but it could be due to the fact that we already have the 'notes=U' for the unindexed search on (presumably: objectClass=tsgposixaccount). And in the end, the fact that one of the components of the filter is unindexed could lead to have in the result set also entries not matching the search filter.
    HTH,
    marco

  • ADF FACES: af:table not rendering all columns

    I'm using ADF EA 17 with myFaces 1.0.9 on JBoss 4.0.1/JVM 1.4.2_07-b05. The af:table is embedded within an af:panelgroup (being body of af:panelbox).
    The af:table is not rendering all columns (only last 2 out of 8 cols total). The model behind the af:table is a java.util.List. Debugging shows that the list is filled up with beans correctly and that each of the properties of such a bean corresponding to a table column are also set correctly.
    Strange thing is that sometimes all columns are rendered ok. Especially if i make heavy changes on the jsp (e.g. removing all but 2 cols from the af:table) and dropping it into the .../jboss/server/../tmp/deploy/tmpXYZ-exp.war directory. Restarting JBoss results in the old behaviour. Also closing browser and re-opening it yields to the missing columns again.
    I've set breakpoints on the bean properties representing on table column and i can see, that the getter methods aren't called (all but those 2 that get rendered finally)
    Table has multiselection enabled with 1 command button.
    This happens with both IE 6 and Firefox 1.0.4; no oracle, myFaces exceptions visible on console or any log file.
    Has anybody made same experiences so far or an idea what the problem really is ?
    best regards,
    Christoph.

    I've tried it also with a plain af:table without any surrounding af:panelgroup or/and af:panelbox. Same result.
    The bean holding the table-model (the java.util.List) is in session-scope. the table-model is update by an actionListener fetching values from an EJB. Could the session-scope be a problem ?
    Potential candidates from my point of view, that might cause trouble here:
    --) Caching (i've seen that sort of "CachedRenderers" are used
    --) partial page rendering
    --) multi-threading issue.
    --) or any silly mistake of mine :-)
    best regards,
    Christoph

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that Search is not returning all STS_Web.
    You need to set the Trim Duplicates to false, please follow the steps as below:
    Export the Search Results Web Part from your page.
    Open the .webpart file in your favorite editor.
    Search for “Trim Duplicates”, you will find it as part of the DataProviderJSON property.
    Set the Trim Duplicates property to
    False.
    Upload the web part.
    Add the web part to your page.

    Javier, this the wrong way to use PL/SQL. Oracle SQL can do all this for you using JOINs.
    This code, even if it did work, would be terrible slow - unable to scale with data volumes.
    This code breaks a few fundamental Oracle rules:
    - row-by-row processing using PL/SQL
    - huge number of context swicthes per PL/SQL loop iteration
    - not maximizing SQL and minimizing PL/SQL
    I suggest you trash this code and write a SQL JOIN instead.

  • RowSetIterator not returning all the rows

    Hi,
    We have a use-case where we need to create a new row iterator to insert rows(values) in it. Immediately after insertRow(), we are reading the values by creating a secondary row set iterator (createRowSetIterator) but it is not returning all the inserted rows. Here is the code snippet:
    Code to insert rows:
    public void insertTerrLineOfBusiness(CreateOperation operation, TerritoryVORowImpl newTerritoryRow, TerritoryVORowImpl selectedRow){
    if((operation.equals(CreateOperation.CREATE))
    || operation.equals(CreateOperation.COPY)
    || operation.equals(CreateOperation.ADD_EXISTING)){
    RowIterator selTerritoryLineOfBusinessIter = selectedRow.getTerritoryLineOfBusiness();
    //RowIterator newTerrLineOfBusinessIter = newTerritoryRow.getTerritoryLineOfBusiness();
    ViewRowSetImpl newTerrLineOfBusinessIter = (ViewRowSetImpl) newTerritoryRow.getTerritoryLineOfBusiness();
    newTerrLineOfBusinessIter.setAssociationConsistent(true);
    while(selTerritoryLineOfBusinessIter.hasNext()){
    TerritoryLineOfBusinessVORowImpl selTerrLineOfBusinessRow =
    (TerritoryLineOfBusinessVORowImpl)selTerritoryLineOfBusinessIter.next();
    TerritoryLineOfBusinessVORowImpl newTerrLineOfBusinessRow =
    (TerritoryLineOfBusinessVORowImpl)newTerrLineOfBusinessIter.createRow();
    newTerrLineOfBusinessRow.setTerritoryVersionId(newTerritoryRow.getTerritoryVersionId());
    newTerrLineOfBusinessRow.setLobCode(selTerrLineOfBusinessRow.getLobCode());
    newTerrLineOfBusinessIter.insertRow(newTerrLineOfBusinessRow);
    Code to read:
    public List getTerritoryLobsValues() {
    List <String> lobsValues = new ArrayList<String>();
    if (this.getTerritory().getCurrentRow() != null) {
    TerritoryVORowImpl territoryVORowImpl =
    (TerritoryVORowImpl)this.getTerritory().getCurrentRow();
    if(territoryVORowImpl.getTerritoryLineOfBusiness() != null){
    ViewRowSetImpl territoryLob =
    (ViewRowSetImpl)territoryVORowImpl.getTerritoryLineOfBusiness();
    RowSetIterator itr = territoryLob.createRowSetIterator(null);
    if(itr!=null){
    while(itr.hasNext()) {
    Row r = itr.next();
    String lobCode = (String)r.getAttribute("LobCode");
    lobsValues.add(lobCode);
    itr.closeRowSetIterator();
    return lobsValues;
    Can anybody suggest what could be the issue? How to fix it?
    Thanks,
    Akhila

    Thanks for your response.

    Use case: We have a tree table, each record may or may not have Line of Business(LOB) associated with it. On creating a child node in the tree table, the child node copies all the attributes of parent. These attributes are not committed explicitly, if user wants to save the child node only then the attributes are committed.
    Giving secondary rowSetIterator a name did not help in resolving this issue.
    If I am calling postChanges() before reading from secondary row iterator then its returning all the inserted values. But this.getTransaction().postChanges() is a JAudit violation, so cannot use it:
    RuleId: apps-jbo-category.File.AdfModel.54
    Rule: insertTerrLineOfBusiness - Review DBTransaction.postChanges call to ensure passivation-safety
    Any pointers on this?

  • How to return all columns starting with E?

    How to return all columns starting with E in emp table?
    My attempts (below) were unsuccessful.
    SQL> SELECT E* from emp;

    You need to do it dynamically:

  • REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC not returning all of entered changes in T_OUTTAB

    Have 4 columns in IT_FIELDCAT_LVC marked with EDIT  = 'X'. T_OUTTAB is examined in I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND.  Only the first keyed fields are returned.  The number of fields returned with the keyed changes varies.  Could not find a relevant SAP note.

    Found that a double-click anywhere on the report reliably returns all entered changes.  An added button on the application toolbar did not return all entered changes.

  • Form does not display all records from table

    Hi guys
    I modified one form that was based on a signle DB table. I removed certain fields from the table and added some extra fields to that table. Then based on the new table I also modified the form and removed the text items related to old fields in the table and added new text items pointing to the new fields now. II have checked all the new items properties and they have don't seem to be wrong or so. But now the problem is the form does not display all the records from the table. before it used to display all records from the table when qureied but not now. It only certain records from the table containing all new data and also old data but the form does not display other records though I don't see any obvious discrepancy. Remember that the before doing the modifications, I have table back for the old, created another table that contained new records for the new fields, and then I inserted the old records and updated the new table data in the new table with these new table values. So this way I have got my new table. Could someone help why the new modified form fails to display all records from the new table updated table though it display some of them successfully.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    hi
    Set the block property of "Query All Records" to "YES"
    hope it will work.

  • Photos 1.0 not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary folder/file after update install

    I installed the update that changed my iPhoto to Photos 1.0, and the new Photos program is not showing all images from Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder (not sure to call it file or folder since it is actually a folder with all my pics but it acts more like a file) after update install.  The Photos Library.photoslibrary file/folder shows to be 55 gb in size, and it shows to be loaded into the photos program, but there are maybe a few weeks of pictures showing instead of a few years.  Lots of pictures in the 55 gb are not showing for some reason.

    No - iPhotos has not replaced anything - it is new and an addition - iPhoto is still on your system in the applications folder and still works just fine
    Outlook is not supported by Photos - not sure if the support must come form Apple or MS as Photos uses a different interface to external packages than iphoto did
