  • Modelling BPEL link

    Hello,
I have some questions concerning the BPEL link construct within a flow:
I looked at the example project "Link" in the samples directory of Oracle BPEL Process Manager. The link that is used in this example is visible in the source code of the BPEL process but not in the diagram view.
Is there a graphical representation of links in JDeveloper BPEL Designer (I am using JDeveloper Version 10.1.2.0.0)?
Is it possible to model a link between two activities graphically or do I have to edit the BPEL source code?
    Thanks, Ingo

I'd like to add a question:
It seems, that links in BPEL work in the engine, but are not visualized in the designer. Will this feature come with the next BPEL release?
It is a must have feature for us, because not seeing the link dependencies visually is a great loss of information...

  • How to create an Iview in BI 7.0?

    Hi Experts,
i want to create iviews in Bi 7.0 but can not find how to do that.
I n the older version i could create a query and said save als Iview.
Could you please explain the steps.
    1. how to create
    2. where to store
    3. How to open
4  How to publish in portal or to open als URL?
    Many Thanky for the Informations
    Cheers
    Gilo

    Hi Gilo,
In iView defines the integrated view, which is going to give all integrated sourcesystems information to portal.
The Portal Content Studio provides a framework for creating iViews in 3 ways.
    1.iView wizards
    2.Copy&Paste actions
    3.Content mirroring tools.
    Creating iView Instances Using Copy-Paste
    Use
You can instantaneously create new iViews without a wizard (see Object Creation Wizards) by copying existing iView instances using the portal's Copy, Paste, and Paste as Delta Link actions.
Both paste actions (Paste and Paste as Delta Link) create new iViews that are delta links instances; however, the relation of the new object to the one being copied differs. This difference is illustrated in the figure below.
    ■       The Content Mirroring tool can also be used to duplicate content. Delta links are generated between the original and copied objects. See Content Mirroring.
    ■       To view the delta link source objects and dependents of an object, use the delta link tracer. See Tracing Delta Link Dependencies.
    Procedure
You use the Copy with the Paste and Paste as Delta Link actions with iViews just as you would other object types in the Portal Catalog.
For general usage instructions and a description of the commands, see Copying an Object or Folder (Copy & Paste).
As the first step you have to navigate to the right Portal Content folder, where you want to add the BI report as Portal iView.
Then you have to create a new iView using the context menu: New -> iView
Now you see the iView Wizard. In the first step you have to choose “iView template – create an iView from an existing iView template” as source type.
In the next step you have to choose the iView template “BEx Web Application iView”.
Then you have to provide an ID (technical name of the Portal Content iView), a description, the iView ID Prefix and the master language of the iView.
Then you have to choose the version of the BEx Web Application. If you created the Web Template using the Web Application Designer based on SAP BW 2.x/3.x, you have to choose the appropriate option. If you have created the Web Template using the new Web Application Designer based on SAP NetWeaver 2004s, you have to choose the option SAP NetWeaver BI 7.x
In the next step you have to type in a prefix (depending on the version of the BEx Web Application) and the technical name of the Web Template. If you have used the SAP BW 2.x/3.x Web Application Designer version you have to use the prefix “TEMPLATE_ID=”. If you have used the Web Application Designer based on SAP NetWeaver BI 7.x, you have to use the prefix “TEMPLATE=” (e.g. TEMPLATE=MYTEMPLATE_ID).
In the last wizard step you can check your entries, you have made before. You can also set the flag “Open for editing, when wizard completes”. Then you can directly work on the BI iView to do some further adjustments.
After pressing the “Finish”-button in the iView wizard the iView properties show up. There you can select the property category “Appearance – Size”. For the property “Height Type” you should select “Automatic” in order to avoid scroll bars on the portal page later on. Save your settings and close your BI iView
In the next step you want to add your newly created BI iView to a page. Therefore you have to first navigate to the page you want to add the new iView (or you can create a new page). Then you have to open the page via the context menu Open Object
To add the iView to the page you have to navigate again to the newly created iView. Via context menu you can add now the iView to the page: Right-mouse click on the iView Add iView to page Deltalink. Afterwards you save the page.
Finally you can do a preview to have a look at your new BI iView that is integrated into the portal page. Depending on the result you can adjust the page layout.
As a result you will see the BI iView on your portal page.
Before you can create a BI iView in the Enterprise Portal, the system connection and the alias of the BI system has to be defined. This can be done in the System Administration of the Portal System Configuration System Landscape
Also the user mapping to the BI system has to be maintained (in order to use single-sign on). This can be done in the user administration Identity Management

  • 64 bit JDBC library issue

I am using 64 bit JRE. My application uses JDBC-ODBC bridge. With 32 bit JRE and 32 bit ODBC drivers, my application works fine. But, with 64 bit JRE, 64 bit ODBC drivers and using JDBC-ODBC bridge, I get the following error :
ld.so.1: java: fatal: relocation error: file /mahy/j2re1.4.2_10/lib/sparcv9/libJdbcOdbc.so: symbol SQLAllocEnv: referenced symbol not found
Looks like libJdbcOdbc.so is looking for SQLAllocEnv symbol and could not find it. I tried 'nm' command to search for this symbol, but, could not find them in any library.
Any suggestions will be greately appreciated.
    - Mahy

It appears that the 64 bit libJdbcOdbc.so does not correctly link libodbcinst.so and libodbc.so:
    ldd jre/lib/i386/libJdbcOdbc.so | grep odbclibodbcinst.so.1 => (file not found)
    libodbc.so.1 => (file not found)
So the 32 bit libJdbcOdbc.so does depend on unixodbc (its not found because its not in my path right now). However
ldd jre/lib/amd64/libJdbcOdbc.so | grep odbcreturns no results, so it does not have the correct link dependencies. These results are from 1.5.0_10. Maybe if you tried setting LD_PRELOAD with libodbc.so and libodbcinst.so? I haven't tried it though.
Does anyone from Sun have any thoughts on why the 64 bit odbc-jdbc bridge library seems to be broken in 64 bit land?

  • Transaction journal report

    Hello All,
I used the system report template to edit the Transaction Journal Report. And, I want to show the Document date instead of teh Posting date being shown on this report. But now, none of the dates show up on display when the report is actually run.
I can select the OJDT > Document Date (TaxDate) on the report. But when I run it, this field just appears BLANK !! I have checked for field links, dependencies, hidden formulas ! But, just cant have this field show up the date on the report.
The same journal entry if opened in the JE window shows the Document Date.
So i am as foxed and spooked as I was when I started this thread. PLease help.
    Regards,
    Gautam

Agree with you Hamsa, at least that is what my experience is forcing me to believe as well.
What i find strage is that, despite having the Tables and Fields available, it still does not show the date (shows every other pc of information althoug !)
Can you reproduce this at your end and please let me know ?
Just edit the posting date field to read document date (TaxDate) from OJDT instead of reading PostingDate. Use the System report layout, not the Ehp layout.
I am wondering if this is a patch level problem. I am using SAP Business One 2007 A (8.00.178)  SP: 00  PL: 44
Which patch are you using ?
    Thank you

  • How to know in which roles an iview is being used

    Hi,
We would like to know if a specific iview is being used by any portal role.
It there any kind of "where used" report where I can investigate the relations between portal content objects (iview, page, workset, role) ?
I tried the PCD Toool but it seems of no help
    thanks
    Moti

    Dear Moti,
As Debasish stated, you can check the Tracing Delta Link Dependencies for the iview in which you can find the where particular iview is used in the page, workset or role in the SAP Portal.
Refer to [Tracing Delta Link Dependencies|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/76/3a0841aaccf023e10000000a155106/content.htm]
    Hope it will helps

  • Xcode 2.3 dependencies are not being linked correctly

    I have a static library project A
I have an application project B
Project B is dependent on project A
    1) I clean-all all projects and remove precompiled headers.
    2) I build the static library in project A. It is about 350K in size.
    3) I build application project B. For some reason, it links the static library in project A even though it doesn't need to. It builds successfully. (This is debug with fix & continue and zerolink).
    4) I run the application and get a zerolink error because it can't resolve a symbol.
Upon further investigation, I discover that the application project re-linked the library, reduced it to 275K, and removed quite a few symbols. I can copy over a back of the 350K library, rebuild the application (which doesn't relink the static library this time), and everything runs fine.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is there a fix? There are other stange dependency bugs between the two projects but this is the most concrete example.
I am going to build a small demo and submit a bug report to Apple if I can't fix this. In the interim, I will have to remove my dependencies and build everything manually.
This project just started with the Xcode 2.3. It kind of reminds me of the early Xcode versions, just after the demise of ProjectBuilder. I actually went back to ProjectBuilder for a while until the next Xcode version.

I closed some other applications that were taking up memory and rebuilt everything. It seems to work now.
I fixed the dependency issues by creating script targets that use makedepend to delete object files that have updated dependencies. If you are interested in this solution, look on Apple's xcode-users mailing list.

  • How do I link the javadoc for one jar to another?

I'm starting to work on the javadocs for my project. It consists of three JAR files. The problem is I haven't figured out is how to link the javadoc for one JAR to that for another jar. So if JAR A declares class X and JAR B has class Y extend class X, they need to be linked. But the javadoc output only has plain text there. What am I doing wrong? Something like @see com.u3e.tests.tools.X is output as text, not a link. I have the same problem for any @see pointing to part of the JDK. @see java.lang.Object is text.
My project is NetBeans IDE based.  Do I need to manually specify something on the command line?  I see the -sourcepath and -classpath command line options, but don't know if those would help or not.  Ideally, there would be a place directly in the Documentation portion of the properties for each JAR to list that, but I don't see it.  The various JARs are listed under the libraries section as needed to satisfy dependencies.

The best way IMO is to sync each iPad with your computer. Having all your stuff backed up on a computer is a good idea anyway. Just read how many folks here are trying to recover lost stuff that could easily be copied back from either backup or iTunes on the computer.
Sync both iPads to the computer. Transfer all photos to the same computer. Then sync again selecting which items you want on each iPad.

  • BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE error: valuated with object dependencies

    Hi expert,
having programmed an extension for a customer for automatic maintenance of characteristic values of technical object, we have come across an error.
When using BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE to change a characteristic followed by BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT (without wait) we have two scenarios:
    1. if the technical object has no value in the characteristic before calling  BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE  the characteristic will be set.
    2. if there is already a value set there is an error stating
Characteristic 'XYZ' valuated with object dependencies (old value '00')
However, I can't find a dependency definition in CT04. do you know what's wrong here,or what is a usual cause of that?
