Ddclient from aur not found

hi,
do you know how ddclient from aur :
http://cvs.archlinux.org/cgi-bin/viewcv … ag=CURRENT
have error:
404 - Page Not Found
Sorry, the page you've requested does not exist.
thankyou

The whole cvs.archlinux.org site got a bit screwed over in the switch from cvs to svn for core and extra. This will get fixed eventually.  In the meantime you can get the PKGBUILDs for community using ABS.

I have nade a oracle ODBC TO MS-EXCEL.While writting query in microsoft query editor I got the error msg
ORA-00923:FROM KEYWORD NOT FOUND WHERE EXPECTED
The following query runs fine on sql plus editior

One thing that comes to mind is that ODBC does not allow Oracle-specific syntax.

  • 'FROM keyword not found where expected'error while Inserting into Text file

    Hi,
I have created a simple interface for testing purpose. All it has to do is to Read the data from a Source Text file and put it into another text file (exactly the same headers as that of source) ...
I am using Oracle as my staging area.
But at 'Insert column Header' Stage, it gives me a warning 'FROM keyword not found where expected' and when it goes to the next step 'Insert Rows' it gives me the same error 'FROM keyword not found where expected' and aborts its execution.
I checked the query for insertion and found nothing wrong in it (FROM Statement is just where it is expected, that is) but somehow its not working.
Can somebody help me out as i have done it before on other Installations and dont know why it is occuring that too for the simplest thing in ODI ...
    Regards,
    Nitesh.

Probably you missed the concat operator.

  • EPSXe from AUR not running on x86_64

I got the AUR of epsxe and epsxe-launcher and made/installed them but they did not download all of my dependencies. That is they require some 32 bit libraries. I get an ELFCLASS error about the libgtk. I can't find a lib32 version of libgtk, has someone made an AUR or will I have to figure out how to put it into the right place myself?
    Thanks.

    Thank you.
    You're welcome.
I'm use to searching for things both with the lib prefix and without. In this case I already knew what you were looking for, but I would have done first libgtk, then gtk, and web searched for 'libgtk package'.

    plzz reaply asap!!!
what is wrong with the query???
    SELECT
    aaa.user_id
    aaa.ispeak,
    SUM (round(aaa.aduration_seconds/decode(aaa.ispeak,0,offpeakpulse,peakpulse))*decode(ispeak,0,offpeakpulse,peakpulse)) DURATION,
    srt.circle,
    srt.package_id ,
    srt.peak_rate ,
    srt.offpeak_rate ,
    srt.bst_plantype ,
    srt.free_value ,
    srt.peak_pulse ,
    srt.offpeak_pulse ,
    srt.pulse_unit ,
    srt.rating_unit
    FROM aaa_sessions aaa, subscriber_rate_tab srt
    WHERE aaa.user_id = srt.externalid(+)
    AND (aaa.start_time_utc between srt.activedt and srt.inactivedt)
    AND (aaa.end_time_utc between srt.activedt and srt.inactivedt);

That's why formatting is important, you missed comma in the very first line. aaa.user_id. Always try to write formatted code, for example:
    SELECT aaa.user_id,
           aaa.ispeak,
           SUM(round(aaa.aduration_seconds /
                     decode(aaa.ispeak, 0, offpeakpulse, peakpulse)) *
               decode(ispeak, 0, offpeakpulse, peakpulse)) DURATION,
           srt.circle,
           srt.package_id,
           srt.peak_rate,
           srt.offpeak_rate,
           srt.bst_plantype,
           srt.free_value,
           srt.peak_pulse,
           srt.offpeak_pulse,
           srt.pulse_unit,
           srt.rating_unit
      FROM aaa_sessions aaa, subscriber_rate_tab srt
    WHERE aaa.user_id = srt.externalid(+)
       AND (aaa.start_time_utc between srt.activedt and srt.inactivedt)
AND (aaa.end_time_utc between srt.activedt and srt.inactivedt); Now there is another thing about you group function SUM. But I am leaving that up to you sort it out.

  • [SOLVED] Unable to build packages from AUR (build: command not found)

I recently hosed the filesystem on my arch install of ~8 months. I reinstalled arch today and didn't have many problems since I had backups of many important config files. Anyways, I still need to get a few programs installed from AUR, but nothing I get from AUR will build.
I download the tarball, extract into a folder in /home/myuser/builds and then go into that folder and run makepkg -s (as always)
It checks the files and extracts/downloads them. Then I get the following error message:
    ==> Starting build()...
/usr/bin/makepkg: line 741: build: command not found
    ==> ERROR: Build Failed.
    Aborting...
I've run abs and I checked out the abs wiki page, I've also installed base-devel. I am not sure what else I need to do, the error message is not specific enough.
The packages I have been trying to install are      ttf-ms-fonts 2.0-7,      keepass 2.14-2, and I also tried ttf-vista-fonts 1-3. I am fairly certain that it is not a problem with the PKGBUILD files.
    Any ideas? Thanks!

    cyrus wrote:Have you tried Yaourt?
Nope, haven't tried that, I think mainly because I wanted to learn how to use pacman and how to build using ABS. At this point I think I know how to use pacman/abs, as much as this thread might make it appear that I dont
I'll give it a try, as I frequently install software from AUR. In the past I think I let software from the AUR get outdated, Yaourt (clumsy name) sounds like it would help that a bit. Thanks!
Edit: BTW, I really love Arch. I tried it out on a flash drive about 8 months ago (maybe more), and after about 12 hours I was sold and installed it on the drive that Windows XP previously held. Even considering that I had many problems during the initial install, but they were all problems that caused me to learn and were easy to resolve. Seriously, I have lots of Windows tech experience, but only Arch forced me to learn Linux. I had tried Ubuntu previously but it was such a bore, and the problems tended to be hard to find solutions for. I try to convince my other Linux using friends to try arch, but they see it as too hands-on. I don't see it that way, it is very hands off after initial configuration, and the initial config only takes a week or less on the first try and a day and a half (or so) if you re-install. Having backups of your config files is of course a huge deal, and I am glad I had most of those.
Really, I love Arch Linux, it has taught me so much.

  • [SOLVED] Yaourt: not found on AUR

    When I try to run
    yaourt -Syu --aur
    I am told that
    yaourt: not found on AUR
This is given for all packages I've installed from the AUR.
I am behind a http proxy, but have exported this variable in my shell. And I know that at least some of these packages are updated from when I last did an upgrade.
I can't find an answer on the wiki or searching these forums; am I just being stupid, or can someone help me? Thanks.

Try changing your http proxy in /etc/wgetrc instead.

  • Aurbuild says "not found in aur"!!!

I was trying to install some package from unsupported using aurbuild, but strangely it gives me the following error:
    [root@bluehead shantanu]# aurbuild -sae thinkingrock
Editor environmental variable not set. Using nano...
    thinkingrock: not found in AUR
Whereas if I search the same package using aurbuild -S it does return back the package.
I also installed abs and did abs to update /var/abs but still aurbuild gives me the same error.
    Can I get some help?

@ravisghosh: I'm not sure what could have caused that bug. But it seems to be working in aurbuild 1.8.3
@bender02: I fixed that bug with arch='any' packages in 1.8.3 as well

  • [SOLVED] yaourt ERROR "not found in AUR"

    Hi, when I run
    yaourt -Syua
    it shows
==> Downloading fontconfig-ubuntu PKGBUILD from AUR...
==> ERROR: fontconfig-ubuntu not found in AUR.
    ==> ERROR: unable to update
==> Downloading google-chrome-dev PKGBUILD from AUR...
==> ERROR: google-chrome-dev not found in AUR.
    ==> ERROR: unable to update
    It's quite strange. I tried
    wget https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/go/google-chrome-dev/PKGBUILD
and it works well. Could someone help me with it?
