DDI or DDK for Yes/No dropdown

Simple one this...
I require a number of dropdowns (15) for Yes/No options. Should I use a dropdownbyIndex or dropdownbykey. If I use a dropdownbykey, am I right in thinking that I can use a domain that has X and space for a value and the Yes/No description will automatically be used?

I am right in thinking this. The data element/domain XFELD can be used and therefore I do not need to populate the node myself.

Have you tried signing out of your Apple ID, restart the iPad and then start all over again?
Go to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID. Tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Then go back to Settings>iTunes & App Stores>Apple ID. Sign in again. Then go to Settings>FaceTime>On. See if it will stay turned on and it it does, sign in and setup.

Maybe this will help answer your questions...
Firstly, MVC2 is a proprietary name for the Microsoft .NET framework based around the Model-View-Controller pattern - it is an updated version of their first attempt - MVC.
The Model-View-Controller pattern harks back to the days of SmallTalk, and as far as I am aware is not included in the original Gang Of Four design patterns, although there is no reason why it can't be considered a design pattern.
Software architecture is about how different parts of the system fit (interface) together and how they relate, including static relationships (cardinality relationships, state) and processes (what happens when), it most often consists of many design patterns each used to address the various needs of a complete system.

Loop or count for unique in dropdown?

I'm trying to build my first dynamic dropdown populated from an XML file.
The XSD and XML files are output from Access. The nodes of the XML are pretty simple, example as follows:

</AllStudentsAllSchools>
The dyanamics on the PDF are running - I'm getting fields filled from the XML.
(As in the above sample XML) For a dropdown to just list the unique school names and not repeat every row that contains a school name... Do I loop through the XML with a javascript loop or count, etc? Or can this be set up automatically in Livecycle, maybe with the Dynamic Properties dialog under the binding tab?
Currently, what I have is the dropdown only reads the first row, pulling only one school name.
Each of the subforms within the main flowed form are set up as Fragments (Including this school name dropdown). Some fragments are dynamic and some not. The dropdown within the fragment is the dynamic one, reading the XML file. The same XML file is the data connection for the PDF (that contains the Fragments).
Example PDF, XSD and XML attached, although the dropdown isn't set up as a Fragment here.

I'm not sure where to put the code you sent.
I have an on "exit" switch case javascript on this dropdown that calls the next dropdowns that appear when a user selects a school name.
I tried putting your code above this switch case as well as below it but neither pulled dynamically from the dom.
The PDF default connection is the XSD and XML (on the PDF that contains this school names dropdown fragment). There are many other nodes in the XML - with the school names dropdown and a couple of other dropdowns being dynamic - a 'swith-case' on both static and dynamic dropdowns.
Is the three step code you sent to be set up on the fragment containing this dropdown or on the PDF itself that contains this subform-fragment? Do I need to set up the default data connection on the fragment file as well or does the '3 step' javascript not need this?
I'm not sure how to mix the switch-case with what you sent since I wouldn't know before hand how many schools the dropdown may display at any given time. I know I could'nt use the following since there would be more than just a "case 0". Maybe just an "on select anything" type javascript?

RoboHelp HTML 9 - CHM file Different color shown for text of dropdown hotspot.

In Design view of Robohelp, I see all dropdown hotspot text are green. But when I preview or genereate the topic to CHM file, all dropdown hotspot text are blue like color of hyperlinks.
I don't understand why it behaves like that. Please tell me.

I recreated your index keywords and have identified what is going on.
When you click on CTV, Accept it opens the correct topic.
Now notice what happens when you start typing app after CTV. The highlighting goes to Enable so when you press Enter, Rh opens the highlighted topic. The highlighting will go to the last sub keyword. Try adding Zulu.
I will see if I can create something similar tomorrow using another authoring tool.

Table for 'Yes/No' to Vendor Quality Certificate?

Dear all,
While doing GR against Purchase Order, there is a field under 'Purchase Order Data' which asks "Cert. enclosed?'. Is it standard field or customized one?
In front of "Cert. enclosed?' field a drop down is provided with two options-Yes and No.
Are these YES/NO get stored in any standard table?
When I saw Technical information of this particular field, I got Field Name: ANSWER & TABLE: QCERT_MIGO.

That field is purely std one..
f you activated QM in procurement and certificate receipt is a must in Define Control Keys and Define Keys for Certificate Processing, then system will propose a field to enter whether you received the certificate or not.
If the certificate is not received and you entered No during GR, then the inspection will be updated with "certificate not received" and you cannot proceed further.
Once you receive the certificate you can up date the status in QC52, which will update the status in quality inspection that certificate received so that it will allow further process.
Please check following :
SPRO >> QM >> QM In logistics >> QM in procurement >> define key for certificate processing >>
select certificate type you assigned and see its details >> there will be tab for No certif. confirmation at GR , you remove the tick from this tab, system will show certificate confirmation tabs at MIGO.

Filling the Sales Order Header - Source for filling the dropdown boxes

Hi,
I am trying to design the User Interface for Creation of sales order using the WebDynpro's. I want to know, what are all those BAPI's i need to use to fill the following drop down boxes.
1. Order Type
2. Sales Organization
3. Distribution Channel
4. Division
As i am new to ABAP., and i am from Java background, i dont know much about the BAPIs used to get the above data.
Could anyone let me know the source to fill those dropdown boxes. Thanks in advance.

Ah,my bad.
Hmmm,i haven't found a BAPI's for filling all your dropdown-boxes with the valid values.
What about using the FM "RFC_READ_TABLE" to read the values for your drowdown-boxes.(only if you don't want to write a Z*-Function).
For examlpe for the dropdownbox "Sales Orgs",you can can start this FM for the table TVKOT.
Is that a possilbe solution for you?

Issue: what we need is that each value the Label set should be different.

When the column stores only Yes / No Values. What is the right definition for that column. Is the following right pertaining IS_PAID column :

OMG, it is my frustration day, really. All widgets are still coming with Captivate 7, only they are bit hidden for some obscure reason???
Use the Widget workspace, that is still available. In the Widget panel you'll have normally the widgets. Because if you choose Insert Widget (this also disappeared from the vertical toolbox) you'll not see the widgets but the interactions, the path is not correct. If you do not see the widgets in the Widget panel, you'll have to browse (there is a small icon at the bottom) to Gallery\Widgets in the installation folder of Captivate.

I have a style I created for a page group. However, this style doesn't show up in the "Choose Style" dropdown when I tried to apply the same style on another page group?
Does anyone know how can I make the existing page style available to other page groups?

Hmmm.. I am wondering how the style managed to get ID=1 when it was created AFTER the page group was created. Normally, there is a style created along with the page group, and this style always gets ID=1. I don't think it's even possible to create a page group without automatically creating this style. Are you sure that this is not the style that was created with the page group initially?
You can aslo verify the ID by editing the style, and viewing the source on that page ... you should see a line like:
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="p_style_id" VALUE="1">
I agree that treating this style specially leads to some inflexibility, but for whatever reason, this is the behavior of the product.

Does NI-Device DDK for linux support VXI-11?

I would like something like NI-Device Plus for the linux platform. Apparently, only the DDK is available
for any platform other than windows. How can I use the
VXI-11 protocol for my ethernet based instrument?

At the moment the only version to support VXI-11 is NI-Device 1.3 plus. This is a run-time version supported only in Windows platforms.
The DDK does not include the implementation of the VXI-11 protocol.
Also, the NI-Device DDK (which is also known as NI-Device 1.2) is a collection of source files with the implementation of the NI-Device classes. The user would need to implement the OS layer of the code. Basically the user needs to be knowledgeable enough to write a device driver in the target OS.
Not so good news, but at least I hope I cleared the picture.

CRM BADI needed for Activity reasons dropdown

Guys I posted a similar thread before and are still struggeling with this issue. I need to do an authorization check on the Activity Reason dropdown list on transaction CRMD_ORDER and eliminate the unwanted.
I need to find a BADI to assist in this but documention is most of the times non-existing.

Problem with the solutions: As soon as one opens CRMD_ORDER with a new business transaction and pick a business activity, the drop-down reason list as set up in config is already displaying. Here I had to eliminate according to authorization check the unwanted reason codes already! BADI CRM_ORDER_FIELDCHECK stop before the load of the transaction, but the problem is I need to get the possible list which I can when reading the config tables directly but the problem with any BADI is the availability to pass back the fields. I do not know how to pass back only the reason codes that must display. With the SAVE ORDER badi the user is still going to see the one's that he/she cannot pick and the business does not like this idea.
Please assist!
