Deactivating Elements 11

How can you deactivate elements 11 if you cannot access the editor?

What about if you run the editor program directly, rather than from the Welcome screen? In PSE11 (Windows version) it would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe".
If that doesn't work try uninstalling and then reinstalling to see if that will let you in.

  • Deactivating Elements on an old hard disk

    I had Elements 8 installed both on my Desktop and Laptop computers, but then bought Elements 9 and installed that on the Desktop - but didn't know about deactivating Elements 8 until I bought a third (Netbook) computer and wanted to install Elements 8 on this.  (I want to use Elements 8 on both the Laptop and Netbook computers because Elements 9 takes up too much disk space).
    Unfortunately before I could deactivate Elements 8 on the Desktop its hard dsk failed (and I no longer have it).  Is there any way in which I can get that deactivation made?

    I have tried to deactivate my elements 11 from program files and by opening it but cannot access editor, now what. I have uninstalled and installed but it will not allow me to access the editor to get to the deactivation. Arrg!

  • Can't install non-Deactivated Elements

    I work for a nonprofit that recently purchased a license of Premiere Elements.  I installed it on my work laptop and my personal laptop since I work from home a lot.  Recently, we moved offices and got new laptops.  I uninstalled Premiere both from my old work laptop and my personal laptop WITHOUT deactivating them first.  Whoops.  Now I can't install a copy on my new work laptop.
    So the central issue is how do I install Premiere Pro on something when I previously uninstalled but didn't deactivate it?

  • Deactivating Elements for transfer

    I currently use Elements 8.  When I get a new computer this week I want to upgrade to Elements 10. What's the easiest way to do this? Shall I deactivate it on the old computer and then install and upgrade on the new one? (Note: I downloaded this product at purchase. I do not have a disc, but I do have the serial number.) Also, a reactivation link would be appreciated!

    You do not need to have the old one installed on your computer before installing the new software, just the serial number. It can never hurt to deactivate the your old software.
    If you purchase the upgrade from the Adobe store it is always a good idea to back it up to external media in case you need access to the software again. At the moment, Adobe does offer you the capability to re-download Adobe store downloads, but you never know when this and any other policy could change. Beside you could need to re-install when Adobe servers are down. You can never go wrong having a backup.

  • Deactivating Photoshop Elements 4.0

    I read the posts about deactivating Elements 8.0 but they do not seem to apply to Elements 4.0. which came bundled with an Epson scanner.  How do I deactivate 4.0?  Edit does not show a deactivate option.  Thanks.

    Once again, you can't deactivate it because it never had activation in the first place. No need to deactivate it. Back then adobe was still on the honor system.

  • Moving elements 8 to new computer

    I'm moving Elements 8 to a new machine.  I have downloaded the files to the new machine.  I have deactivated Elements on my old computer.  And I have my  serial number from my adobe account.  But when I enter the serial number into the setup menu and click next I get a message about the serial number being invalid.
    Any ideas?

    For PSE the number comprises 24 digits commencing 1057 (never post your serial number in a public forum) so make sure you are using the correct code. Otherwise you need to contact Adobe directly using the link below. Use the dropdown menu for boxes (1) & (2) to scroll down the list and choose:

    I am trying to download Elements 10 on a new computer.  I have deactivated Elements on the old computer. I then went to My History and clicked on the download button and nothing happens....no message and no download.

  • How to configure multiple instances in CF9

    I'm having a few issues with a couple of our staging servers that are running multiple instances of CF9, and I'm not sure if they're set up correctly. I have CF9 Enterprise multiserver installed and I created 4 additional instances using the Instance Manager. I also created a specific jvm for each one to use and reregistered each service to use the custom jvm. In Apache I added the following to each vhost (changing the serverstore and port):

    However, when the service is stopped for one of the sites, instead of getting the JRun 500 error it will instead return a CF error or the site will still come up. But if I stop the main CF server service it will kill all the sites.
    So it seems that all the instances are still tied to the main service. Is there something I'm missing here or something that wasn't configured correctly?

    So I added all the instances to the wsconfig.properties file and they all show up when I run the wsconfig.exe.

    I also did this for each instance....since they were set to true.
    Open the jrun_root/servers/servername/SERVER-INF/jrun.xml file for each server instance and locate the ProxyService service. Ensure that the deactivated element is set to false
    But lets say I kill the service for cf2 and/or stop it in CF Admin from the Instance Manager, the site still stays up...

    Open Visio, PlugIns/AddOns, search for "Deactivated Elements" and activate all. Close and restart Visio.

    Hi esr86,
    There is an Office Diagnostic feature in the Help tab of Outlook. See if it can find and repair something? In the same Help menu there is a list of Deactivated elements, which may have blocked one or more functions on an earlier occasion. If anything there, try enabling it again.
    It may be wise to shut down Ovi Suite completely while doing this, and reboot the PC afterwards just to be on the safe side.
