DEBMAS iDoc Contact Persons Issue

Hi Folks,
I have a DEBMAS06 iDoc that is creating a customer. In the main everything is perfect however there has just been an issue raised by the business.
We use contact persons to determine where to send differnt output types, however in small companies, that person would be the same for all output types.
When creating a customer in XD01, if you enter a contact person with the same name, SAP will issue a warning message that you can ignore, however, when using my iDoc, the first contact person entry is added but none of the rest of them are.
Is there a way that I can add the same contact name for multiple contact types in my iDoc?

Praveen,
My iDoc has this format
E1KNA1M
--E1KNA11
--E1KNA1H
--E1KNVVM
--E1KNB1M
--E1KNVKM
--E1KNVKM
--E1KNVKM
--E1KNVKM
--E1KNKKM
My four E1KNVKM segments look like this (I have deleted the number for privacy)::
MSGFN     005
NAMEV     Nezire
NAME1     Turk
TELF1     99999999
PAFKT     ZA
MSGFN     005
NAMEV     Nezire
NAME1     Turk
TELF1     999999999
PAFKT     ZB
MSGFN     005
NAMEV     Nezire
NAME1     Turk
TELF1     9999999999
PAFKT     ZD
MSGFN     005
NAMEV     Nezire
NAME1     Turk
ABTNR     0007
TELF1     99999999
Yet it is only the 0007 segment that is created even though the entire iDoc has a success message.

  • BAPI_ADDRCONTPART_SAVEREPLICA Create contact person issue

    Dear SAP Gurus,
I'm coding a RFC for create customer with contact person. I used BAPI_PARTNEREMPLOYEE_GETINTNUM and BAPI_ADDRCONTPART_SAVEREPLICA in order to create the contact person for the corresponding customer.
    The process is
    1. get customer number by BAPI
    2. create customer by BDC
    3. create contact person
    The issue is
The BAPI is successfully called, and the address data is into the table, eg. ADRC.
But in Tcode XD03 contact person view, I can not find the contact person information for this customer.
    Could you please kindly advise?
BTW, the BAPI input parameters are all correct I think, I also did the test in SE37

  • IDOC Contact person of Vendor

    Hi everyone.
How is it possible to upload contact persons of Vendor?
Information of Vendor uploads into xml file by IDOC CREMAS, but this IDOC can't upload contact person.
    And that is the problem.
Is anybody can help me to upload information of vendor with contact persons?
    Thanks.
Edited by: Victor Stupin on Jun 19, 2008 12:25 PM

Segment E1WYT3M in CREMAS05 doesn't contain the necessary information for me.
There is only address of a Vendor.
For example when I use IDOC DEBMAS04 for uploading Customers, xml file contains a contact person.
    Segment
E1KNVKM : Master customer master contact person (KNVK)
contains the necessary fields, such as
    NAMEV : First name
    NAME1 : Name 1
    ABTNR : Contact person department
    TELF1 : First telephone number
    PAFKT : Contact person function
Is there any way to upload such fields for Vendor?

  • How to avoid contact person deletion when partner function is assigned

    Hi All.
I need your help for a contact person issue.
I'd like to avoid a contact person relationship to be deleted when this contact person is assigned to one or more partner functions for any customer's sales area. In ECC I can't delete a contact person that is been used as a partner function in customer's sales data (KNVP). The system shows message F2 189. But it seems not to be the same in CRM as I'm able to delete this contact person relationship despite he's been used as a customer's partner function. Furthermore, when the contact person is deleted in CRM, no upload to ECC occurs, I mean, the contact person is still "alive" in ECC and linked to the customer.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks, Prasenjit.
Yes, we're using Web UI, so I'll try to check the partner function assignment as you told me.
No problem regarding the concepts of contact person deletion and contact person relationship deletion, I know the difference. What I meant was that you can delete a contact person relationship in CRM (not the contact person itself but the relationship) and this relationship is not deleted en ERP due to the fact that this contact person is used as a partner function in the customer sales area. It seems CRM and ERP are working in a different way, using different checks that can lead you to inconsistencies.
    Kind regards,
    André

  • How to Upload the Contact Person to Cremas05 Idoc

    Hi Guru's,
I have one question, I am a novice in SAP.
I want to upload the contact person to Cremas05 Idoc . This data is present on Debmas Idoc but not in Cremas.
Do you have an idea how we can do?
    Regards,
    Moh.

    Hello Moh,
I'm sorry for the information but there is no ALE support for the vendor contact persons.
This feature has not been developped and there is no plan to develop it for the next releases.
The only solution I can see is a consulting project.
SAP can help for you this.
If you are interested in such activity, I would encourage you to open a customer message in SAP marketplace under component LO-MD-BP-VM and ask that the message gets forwarded to development support. You may also add my name too in order to speed up processing.
    Sorry for that information
    Best regards

  • DEBMAS with only part of contact persons?

    Hi there,
if we send in a DEBMAS IDoc that contains only a subset of contact persons of a customer, the inbound process will remove all other contact records from KNVK. We tried different MSGFN values, without success.
Is there any way we could send via DEBMAS only updated contact persons without loosing existing contact records not beeing sent with current IDoc?
    Best regards,

    Hi Gordon,
    this is incorrect.
ADR3MAS is part of address management.
It contains the address part of a contact persons.
This is not directly related to customer contact person.
Distributing ADR3MAs will never create a customer contact person on its own.
If send alone, it will only creates an orphaned contact person address.
What is correct in your reply is the fact DEBMAS do not distribute 100% accurate address data.
So to succeed to have a completely correct and accurate customer master distribution you MUST setup a distribution where the Address idocs ADR1MAS, ADR2MAS, ADR3MAS are sent as well as DEBMAS idocs.

  • Issue with DEBMAS IDoc,not all fields are reflected in the IDoc Seg E1KNB1M

For IDoc type DEBMAS, there is a segment E1KNB1M. This segment is relate to the customer correspondence details (XD02 -> company code data -> Correspondence).
For any change to the customer master a DEBMAS IDoc is triggered which has data in segments including the E1KNB1M.
In my case for few customers, the not all fields in the segment E1KNB1M contain data. Few fields contain data but the rest are filled with u2018\u2019. This is happening only in the production system, for the same customer in the quality system the data is there as required.
I checked in debugging, and found that the data is correctly passed to the segment in program SAPLVV01 Include LVV01F01. And the segment contains data till the IDoc is triggered.  I.e. the fields are not getting cleared at any point.
Can anyone suggest what is happening and how to fix this? Please note that the issue is only in the production system and not in the quality system ( for the same customer).

  • Issue in Target Group creation of contact persons

    Hi,
I am working on CRM 5.0. Using the segment builder creating target group to be attached to the campaign.
I have created one target group of organizations with Marketing attributes attached to these BPs.
Using this organizations target group as Master Group I am creating one more target group of contact persons of these organizations (using Contact persons relationship). The issue here is, out of these contact persons I require only those contact persons having interest in classical music. I have maintained this attribute in the BP master data of these contact persons.
While creating the target group of such contacts in segment builder I am using this attribute to filter the data but I am getting all the contacts without any filter applied. My requirement is to only get those contact persons (belonging to the master group of organizations) having interest in classical music. Can anyone suggest how to achieve this?
    With regards
    Ambar Adhav

  • Issue while saving contact person details in CRM 5.2

This issue is in IC webclient CRM 5.2.
Issue:We search for the product and then confirm it.Once its confirmed,it will display the list
of partners(ex:Sold to party ) for that product.
When I  select sold to party ,it will display the list of contact persons for that sold to party.
Then I select one contact person and I change some details for the selected contact person like extension, email and save it.
    Its getting saved.
After that I do cancel interaction and I repeat the same steps. After changing the contact person, when I click on save ,its not getting saved.
Again If I click on Save, its getting saved.
I found that in setter method, collection wrapper is getting refreshed for the second time.Because of that, its throwing an exception 'CS_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL'.
Can you please tell why this collection wrapper is getting refreshed and what could be the problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards

    Hi,
You can set a check to see whether the object is bound. Otherwise, try to find out why the method is called twice.

  • LSMW Vendor Create /Change (XK01/XK02) by IDOC CREAMS05 for CONTACT PERSON

    Hi Experts,
Can you Please help me for CONTACT PERSON (create/ change) upload for vendor using the IDOC type CREMAS05.
which structure is appropriate for CONTACT PERSON in CREMAS05
    Thanks in advance,
    Babumiya Mohammad

okay, this screen is not active in my system. (are you doing retail?)
if it is address data, then it is usually transmitted with the ADR3MAS idocs
this is at least the case for customer contacts.

  • Interfacing vendor contact person information

    Hi All,
    Scenario:
We are implementing and MDM solution to keep a central vendor repository, which will be the source for multiple backend ECC systems. We use SAP PI as middleware and try to stay as much as possible with the standard SAP IDoc formats.
    Problem:
Unlike for customer MD SAP doesn't seem to support the interfacing of contact person details via ALE for vendors (or I haven't found it yet, if it is there, please let me know, it would be great news ). For debmas you have an E1KNVKM segment included in the debmas IDocs and I assume that there will also be ADR3MAS messages to provide the address details.
I believe that we'll have to go for customizing to get the same for the vendors but was hoping that someone has already gone through this effort and can share some best practices? Especially when it comes to configuring the system to make sure that the contact persons will be linked correctly to the vendors taking the CAM into account. (How to configure TSADOBJ and so on...)
    Thank in advance!
    Lee

    Hi,
Take out the list of fields for vendor contact information in the respective table and try to include them in your custom segment in your message type and try to populate the data in that and sent it through the IDOC.
if the same information can be handled at inbound system then you can capture the same.
    regards
    Vishnu

  • Filter contact person ADDRESSES at KNVK level

    Hello,
We have defined an ALE scenario in order to transfer contact person (KNVK segment) of a customer (DEBMAS).
We have defined filters on contact person fonction and it's working fine: only knvk sgements with good finction are included in the DEBMAS IDoc.
    But problem comes with addresses:
we are also transfering contact person addresses (ADR3MAS) and have defined a depedent distribution (with KNA1) in the ALE scenario (BD64).
Unfortunately in this case, ADR3MAS IDocs are generated even for the contact persons that have been filtered!
We did not find any solution to this problem.
So I'm asking your help and hope a good soul will take time to answer me
    Many thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Jérôme Romain.

you should have a dependency to the message type
Example of dependency between a BAPI and a message type:
The distribution of company addresses has been integrated in the object maintenance for the vendor. The address data is then distributed together with the object data via ALE. The address data is dependent on the object data and is distributed via the BAPI. The object data is distributed in the message type CREMAS.
So a dependency exists between the BAPI and the message type.
In the distribution model an active receiver filter is assigned to the BAPI used for distributing organization addresses (AddressOrg.SaveReplica). The dependency has been activated in the attribute Dependent distribution in the filter display.
Based on the receiver determination, the object data with the BAPI addresses are only distributed, if the filter condition for CREMAS is met.

  • Automatically add role of Contact Person when BP is created as employee

We have done the configuration and setup to transfer OM data from ERP (ECC 6.0)  to CRM 7.0. Before we execute the ALE job, we have one item we would like to add to the process.
We are a County Government implementing CRM Incident Management. Users will need to assign and forward Incidents to defined Contact Persons in various Org Units. It would require significant manual effort to edit BP records for each employee to maintain the Contact Person role.
Is there a way to automatically add the Contact Person role to each Employee BP at the time that the BP is created during the transfer of OM data? In other words, when IDocs are posted using RBDAPP01 in CRM, can the BP be created with the General role, the Employee role AND the Contact Person role at that time?
I have not found a BP configuration which implements this. I also did not find a switch in T77S0 which would cause this to occur.
I have searched this forum and the the CRM General Questions forum for this issue. I have found a few threads which posed the question but none which provided an answer for CRM 7.0. Please let me know if I have overlooked a previously posted answer.
Thank you for your help and advice.
    Alannis Bratton

    Hi Robert.
Thank you for the suggestion. However, this isn't related to creating the Contact Person role when creating a contact relationship directly in CRM. What we need is the automatic creation of the Contact Person role at the same time that the Employee BP is created via the ALE transfer of OM data from ECC to CRM.

  • Error while creating the Contact Person in the BP Master Data

    Dear Experts,
I encountered the following error while updating the contact person name either while creating new or editing existing customer.
Error - [Contact Persons - Contact Persons name][Line 1],'This entry already exists in the following tables 'Contact Persons' (OCPR) (ODBC - 2035)' [Message 131-183].

    Dear Experts,
I am not doing a DTW for the same, i am updating the BP Master manually. It has been a recent occurence since 3 days when the customer is trying to update the contact person the following error throws. I tried updating for the existing customers with no contact person, there in also it throwed the same error.
To bring to your notice i had a test database for the same customer where in i encounter no issues with regard to the contact person update.
