Debugger seems to loose connection

Hi !
I've written a package and want to debugg some procedures in it.
Starting with "compile for debug" and then starting debugging I get:
Connecting to the database DART @ apexdart.
Executing PL/SQL: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_DEBUG=TRUE
Executing PL/SQL: CALL DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP.CONNECT_TCP( '127.0.0.1', '1106' )
ORA-30683: failure establishing connection to debugger
ORA-12541: TNS:no listener
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP", line 68
ORA-06512: at line 1
Process exited.
Disconnecting from the database DART @ apexdart.I use database 10.2.0.1.0 on Linux and SQLDeveloper build 25-14 on Windows XP
Any idea why I have "no listener" ?
Heinz

Since the database isn't local, the ip address is your problemI don't have a local database either and it works for me ;-P
For some reason sqldev couldn't find his real IP, and obviously 127.0.0.1 isn't enough... Maybe ages ago I entered my host once and sqldev remembered my IP ever since? Or should the IP be detected?

  • Browsers and Mail keep loosing connection and reconnecting randomly.

Connected to a wifi network that has always worked fine.
    Only change is Yosimite upgrade.
Browsers intermittently report no network connection, then make connection seemingly randomly.
Mail keeps taking accounts off line in spite of always being connected.
I do have 16 gigs of ram.
Does anyone know what has happened and how to fix?

The only change has been switching to Yosimite.
The wireless diagnostic says "Basic failure..." contact apple support.
Other devices and computers are connected to same wifi without a problem.
The wifi network is not the issue, something has changed in how the OS is connecting.
The browsers, (Safari and Firefox) will loose connection and say not connected to internet from onwe moment to the next.
A page can be refreshed then a new will report that I am not connected to internet, then after a few attempts to try again, it works.
Mail also seems to loose connection and asking if I want to connect.
The wireless and mail and all browsers have worked with out a problem for years.

  • Possible workaround for: Launch Debugger Error "Unable to connect to the RDS server"

I do not yet have a reproducible case for this. *Sometimes* ColdFusion Builder throws the "Unable to connect to the RDS server" error, when attempting to start a debug session against a remote server. However, "RDS Dataview" and "RDS Fileview" views correctly list the servers and their related data/file, and testing RDS connection result is "Test connection was successful". The workaround is:
    1. Login to the ColdFusion Administrator
    2. Navigate to "Debugger Settings" page (beneath "Debugging & Logging")
    3. Click on "Stop Debugger Server" -or- "Restart Debugger Server"
    4. Restart ColdFusion Application Server
    Notes:
    a) Step #3 must be done via ColdFusion Administrator, not via ColdFusion Admin API (stopLineDebugger()|restartLineDebugger())
    b) Step #4 can be done via ColdFusion Administrator -or- ColdFusion Builder
    c) Note that there is a CF9 Release Note for Bug #78488: "When a server having "Windows service option" ENABLED is added as a remote server, then Start-Stop-Restart operation cannot be done on it."  However, I've found that "Restarting" a remote server, that is running as a Windows service, is possible in ColdFusion Builder (at least this is so on standalone developer edition).  Like Bug #78488 says, I am unable to "Stop|Start" a remote server that is running as a Windows service. I'm just mentioning all of this, due to my suggestion in "b", that CF can also be restarted via ColdFusion Builder.
It is interesting that attempts to stop|restart the debugger server, via CF Admin API, do not resolve the issue. So, it seems that the "Stop Debugger Server" and "Restart Debugger Server" buttons, in CF Admin, are doing more than calling the corresponding CF Admin API methods.
Attached is an image of the error.
Just posting all of this as an FYI, in case it helps anyone.
    Thanks!,

(OH.. I'm unable to attach images at this time *DOH!* ..well, I'll try to remember to update this post w/ the image, once I see that attachments are allowed.)
I'll try to describe the error message window:
    - It is 494x452 pixels
    - Title of the window is "Error occurred while launching the Debugger"
    - Body content of the window is as follows:
Unable to connect to the RDS server 'ServerNameHere'
Ensure that the server is currently running and that line debugging and RDS are enabled. You may also need to check your RDS connection settings in Eclipse to ensure that they are correct.
    Error Message:

You must specify this debugger port in the JVM settings of your application server, for example: -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=5005. You will also need to make sure that another debugger is not currently connected to the CF JVM at the same port (5005).

  • Wireless Keyboard Looses Connection

I have a new Mac Mini with a wireless keyboard and wireless mighty mouse. During use the mighty mouse is fine, but the keyboard seems to loose the bluetooth connection over time, always about the same amount of time. I realize this is probably a power saving mode due to inactivity. If I turn off the keyboard and turn it back on, the Mini finds it and its fine. Is there any way I can set it to just always leave the keyboard on and connected? I wouldn't mind less battery life, it's just annoying to keep having to reconnect it.

I didn't install the included cd since the Mini found the keyboard automatically. Installing this disc solved the problem.

  • IMAC looses connection to Printer

Computer will not print and seems to lose connection to the printer. I deleted all printers and made a new printer connection. Printer has address 192.168.0.14.  Later IMAC looses connection to printer again. I look at address on printer and it is now 192.168.0.15. Its done this several times. So why does the printer keep changing its address? Is there a way to set it permanently?

Hi  I may have found what you are looking for to set the printer up with a dedicated IP Address. The printer obtains the IP address from your router, I'm not sure why your router is reassigning the IP addresses so frequently.  All of the steps for troubleshooting the Printer Does Not Maintain Wireless Connection are on available on that document, but I have copied the basics on setting up the Static IP address. (Solution five: Assign the printer a static IP address) You can review that document and try the other solutions if you continue to have connectivity issues. Locate your printer's current IP address, which you already haveOpen an Internet browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) on your computer.Type your printer's IP address in the browser's address bar, and then press Enter. The Embedded Web Server (EWS) opens.Click the Network tab from the EWS navigation menu.In the Wireless section, click the Network Address (IP) or IPv6 configuration, depending on your network setup.Click Manual IP, and then click Suggest a Manual IP Address.
A manual IP address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway displays.Don't forget to save or apply the settings I believe you might want to try to refresh your network connection afterwards. Power cycling your router allows it to reestablish a fresh connection to all of your devices. Here's how to power cycle your network if you are unsure: 1) Unplug the power cable from your wireless router (NOTE: Do not reset the router)
    2) Do the same for the printer
    3) Shut down the computer
    4) First plug the router back in, and wait for it to fully power up
    5) Then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid.
    6) Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on  Check to make sure the manual IP address has stayed on the printer.
You may also have to remove and add your printer in Printers and Scanners.Open your System Preferences, click on Printers and Scanners.Click the name of your printer, click the minus sign (), and then delete the printer.Once the printer is removed, click the plus sign (), click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer  Please let me know if these steps resolved your issue, or if there is anything else I can do to help.  I look forward to hearing from you!   Thanks,

  • Issues with client looses connection with 6.0.196.0

    Hi,
We recently upgraded our Wisms to version 6.0.196.0 and after the upgrade we have seen the clients sometimes looses connectivity and has problems to connect. We use an network with 802.1x  and PeapMschapv2 with dynamic WEP.
We have disabled aggresive load-balancing but still see the issues.
    Any ideas anyone?
    Regards,
    Martin

    Hi,
Any news for these problems? Did the version 7.x fix these CAPWAP UP/DOWN problems with HREAP APs? It seems that I'm having these same problems now. Local APs seems to be fine, but HREAP APs goes UP/DOWN with versions 6.0.196.0 and 6.0.199.4.
There are three 4404 WLCs, where are different sites' office and warehouse APs connected to. The environment is configured as N + N + 1
    like following:
WLC1 is for officeAPs. APs are 1131 and they're configured as H-REAP
WLC2 is for warehouseAPs. APs are 1242 and they're configured as Local
WLC3 is for backup and I used this for testing.
After I updated all the WLCs at summer to version 6.0.196.0, there have been issues where the clients looses randomly WLAN-connections. But the complaints just came from the two largest offices. And these didn't happend immeaditly after the update, but after few months. It can be that the summer holidays was reason for it. After some investigations, I updated the WLC3 for version 6.0.199.4, which just got released at the time, and moved these two largest offices' APs to there. Complaints stopped but after a month the second largest office informed that the clients' disconnections started to raise again and the WLAN-network has become unstable again. First there was just couple of issues but it have been raised as the time goes by.
When I made some more investigation to this site, I noticed that the APs' CAPWAP goes DOWN and UP randomly for a second:
*Nov 12 07:39:29.537: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DOWN
*Nov 12 07:39:29.590: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to administratively down
*Nov 12 07:39:29.590: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to administratively down
*Nov 12 07:39:29.759: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to UP
*Nov 12 07:39:29.811: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up
*Nov 12 07:39:29.812: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to reset
*Nov 12 07:39:29.849: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio1, changed state to up
*Nov 12 07:39:29.850: %LINK-5-CHANGED: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to reset
*Nov 12 07:39:29.889: %LINK-3-UPDOWN: Interface Dot11Radio0, changed state to up
Then I investigated some more and noticed that this happens on all of the H-REAP APs and almost in the same time:
    *Nov 12 07:39:29.537: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DOWN - WLC3, second largest site's AP (6.0.199.4)
    *Nov 12 07:40:17.439: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DOWN - WLC3, second largest site's other AP (6.0.199.4)
    *Nov 12 07:41:20.297: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DOWN - WLC3, largest site's AP (6.0.199.4)
    *Nov 12 07:42:31.928: %CAPWAP-5-CHANGED: CAPWAP changed state to DOWN - WLC1, random site's AP (6.0.196.0)
When I checked the warehouseAPs, which are configured as local in the WLC2 (6.0.196.0), there was nothing like this in the logs. Logs are clean.
But when H-REAP is configured for these APs, the clients should not be disconnected when the CAPWAP goes down? And this whole "process"  seems to last just for a second. Not sure if this is the real reason for these client disconnections, but at least this is not normal. I haven't heard complaints from smaller sites, even when APs at them also does the same.
I don't feel great to update the WLCs for the version 7.x, because it just seems to be new feature release, but if it fixes these, then I should think about it. Has someone, who had these same problems, got this fixed with version 7? Or has TAC provide some other patches for this?
    Thanks,
    Joni

  • MacBook looses connection with external monitor

    Hey Apple humans!
I have a MacBook Pro (mid 2009) and an external monitor Samsung SyncMaster XL2370 connected via DVI/DisplayPort. Works fine since the mid of 2009 but in the last few days the MacBook looses connection with the monitor and isn't able to get the connection up again. The button "Monitore recognise" (don't know the exact translation of it in english) in preferences doesn't work, even a reboot brings nothing.
I've changed nothing on the setup, only the newest patches for OS X were installed. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english, right now I'm to ****** to concentrate

have a Mac Pro with 2 Samsung syncmasters and after updating os x to 10.6.6 computer loose the connection with the monitors. Randomly it seems, might work for a while and suddenly go black.
Have to restart the Mac. I'm sure it's related to the os update. Tried all resets, throwing prefs, emptying

  • Photosmart Plus B209 loosing connection

I just purchased a new Photosmart Plus printer and love it except for one problem.  It seems to loose its connection with the network when it goes into sleep mode.  It is connected over the wireless network to 2 XP computers hardwired to the router and 1 Win. 7 laptop.  They all work fine until the printer goes to sleep.  If you cycle the power button on the printer everything is fine until it goes to sleep again.
    Thanks for any help
    Neal
    Thank You,
    Neal

Did you find a solution to this?
I've had this printer for a few months now and I have no complaints except for this sleeping issue.  I basically have to go downstairs, unplug it, and plug it back in to get it to work again.
I have a Linksys/Cisco wireless G router.  It is set for WPA2.  Hosts on the network use DHCP, but the printer is set with a static IP.  This setup works for a while, but eventually goes to sleep and I cannot get it to wake without doing the power cycle.  I have also set the printer to not to go into sleep mode.  No avail.
Hosts are laptops (only turned on when needed) that run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  • Loosing connection

    How's everyone.
I know this has been posted a million times, but I just can't seem to find an answer to my problem. I have the WRT54G wireless router not sure Version # (bought 2 weeks ago), with one computer conneted wireless and one wired. Now I've done search after search, I've even done the online chat with a linksys associate and can't get this to work. For some reason, at any givin time, I will loose connection to the internet on both computers at the same time. Now when I check the router settings, everything seems fine, I have a IP from my ISP, both computers are listed in the DHCP list, but in order to get it back up, I have to release/renew the router connection to my ISP modem. Now I had the MTU set to 1500 and have since lowered it to 1300, which really should not matter since I had another brand of wireless router setup about 2 weeks ago @ 1500 with no problems. The only thing I have not done yet is update the firmware. Reason being, all the other posts I've read said that they have done the upgrade with no results. At work I have the same router (actually a little older) with the same ISP and all the settings seem to be the same as mine.
If anyone out there has had the same problem and know's of a possible fix, it would be greatly appreciated.

The version of the router is printed on the label behind the model name.
Have you tried some pings to see you far you get or a traceroute?
Pings to the router, to the ISP gateway, etc.
A traceroute (tracert in windows) to an IP address in the internet.

  • 5k iMac looses connection to bluetooth mouse

Brand new 5k iMac looses connection to Apple Bluetooth mouse.
Sometimes it reconnects automatically, sometimes I have to turn it off and on again to reconnect.
It happens all day long. Really frustrating!!!
Anyone knowing if it is hardware or software related?
Any suggestions for å solution is appreciated...

Thank's for your reply rkaufmann87, but it is not setup related.
The wireless mouse worked without any problems om my previous iMac.
On the new 5k, it seems that the Bluetooth-connection disconnects the mouse, without any obvious reason, then reconects after 5-15 sec's.
This happens regularly during the day.
    Both machines is running OS10.10.1

  • Mouse loosing connection

    I recently purchased a 27" iMac, which I love.
However, I am having some serious mouse issues. It constantly looses connection and just stops working till it reconnects which is anywhere from 1min to 5mins.
It's very annoying. What could be the problem? Is it something I can fix or is it maybe a defected mouse?
    Any advice is appreciated
    Thanks,
    Jon

Depending your your point of view it could be considered "defective".  Problem is you are not alone.  There are many posts on the, er, deficiencies, of the MM.  Google "magic mouse looses connection" and look at More Like This section on the right.  Here's a 15-page thread on this topic in these forums:
    Magic Mouse Loses Connection
Some of the problems appear to be a poor transmitter/receiver.  Others seem to be due to problems with the batteries used.  For example, different makes of batteries have slightly different lengths of the positive terminal (end with small "nib").  The tolerances are such that the slight length difference is enough to make the battery loose contact wth small movements of the batteries.  Some have found putting a small aluminum foil ball inside to take up the "slack".  Others have found different brands of batteries are less prone to the problem since they have larger positive terminals.
I do recommend always keeping a (cheap) wired mouse as a backup.  Keyboard too if you use a BT keyboard.

  • T400 screen - loose connection

    Dear All,
The screen of my Thinkpad T400 has started to act weird the last couple of weeks. As far as I can tell, it seems to have a loose connection as it goes dark if the hinge is not in a specific angle where the connection is working fine.
I have been searching around thius forum and others but without any luck. However - I found a video on youtube with someone who has the same problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0O2cx9T4DI8
Does anyone know how (if possible) to fix this?
    Regards,
    Jakob - Copenhagen
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I can think of the cable being loose, or the connection to the mainboard.
If you are not afraid of opening your laptop you can download the HMM (hardware maintenance manual) from here => click me! and remove the battery, palmrest and keyboard bezel following the instructions from the manual. Then check the lcd to motherboard connector as shown in page 117 of the manual (not page 117 from your pdf reader!)
If that doesn't change you may need to check the connection of the cable to the LCD, this means more dissasembling, but let's try the motherboard one first.
    Hope this helps!

  • Loose Connection Headphone Jack MacBook

I was having difficulty with 3 pairs of headphones that I own. Upon insertion into the MacBook aluminum headphone jack, I would only get a very loose connection. A slight wiggle would disconnect headphone sound and revert to internal speakers.
I went to the Apple store today in Toronto, and tested a few of their units on display. Same thing I even tested using the headphones sold at the store (BOSE noise canceling - $249.00). Same problem. Just pulling out ever so slightly, ruined the connection...
Anyone else had this problem?? I'm totally surprised there's not more about this out there...

I reported the problem within two weeks of receiving the first macbook and then within a week of receiving the second - apple has a period of "remorse" whereby if you decide you are not happy with your purchase you can return it less a restocking fee - in my case, since it was a clear failing of the machine, they waived the restocking fee and gave me a full refund
I should add that I bought mine from the online apple store - the support and sales staff were very helpful - the video that I put online made it crystal clear what the problem was
before deciding whether to take a third macbook or the full refund I asked them to check with the technical department whether this was a known issue (it wasn't) and I also made a trip to a local reseller to see if I'd just had bad luck or it was a widespread problem (all the unibody macbooks and macbook pros exhibited the same behaviour)
I had been waiting to upgrade to a smaller form macbook that I had long hoped for. The release of the unibody macbook seemed initially to be the answer to these hopes - albeit with no firewire and a poorer quality screen than I expected. I decided I could live with these shortcomings but the macbook as it stands is unusable for me due to this headphone socket issue. Rather than wait for a fix to this unrecognised issue I decided to buy a previous revision macbook pro. Better a last revision mac product than a first revision - pity because otherwise the new macbook was great.

  • TC Looses connection to the Internet for wireless device & new Apple TV

I have a new TC (1 TB) that I got within the last month or two, I use it as my Internet router behind my DSL modem. TC gets a DHCP address from my DSL modem then does NAT to both Ethernet and Wifi devices behind it. After a short period of time I have noticed that my Wifi devices (New Apple TV, Macbook Pro, & 2 Iphones) will loose connectivity to the Internet, although they never loose their Wifi connection. What is strange is that I have several hard wired Ethernet devices that can still access the Internet going through the TC at the same time the wireless devices can not.
In order to get the wifi devices back working I have done a few things, disconnected and reconnected the Ethernet cable between the TC and my DSL modem, power cycled the TC, power cycled my DSL modem. It seems like the most reliable method is power cycling the TC.
This seems to happen pretty frequently however with no pattern or cause I can detect. The only interesting thing is that I just installed my New Apple TV and prior to that I do not recall having to recycle the TC. I am inclined to think the TCP video streaming might be overloading the TC and causing the wireless process to crap out while the ethernet ports are fine.
Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Will do some more troubleshooting and will contact Apple support at some point. I will also update this thread when I find out more.

I have a similiar problem - but I don't have Apple TV - and when the TC looses internet connection it is for wired and wireless devices. WLAN and LAN still working.
At the same time i cannot access the configuration of the TC thru Airport - are you able to do this?
I also have the feeling that high data loads provokes the error more often.
