You have to put series of check in the rules
Step 1: Check hring Action (OUTWPMASSN)
Step 2: If required check reason for action (OUTWPMASSG)
Step 3: Check time evaluation year (using HRS=CURYR)
Step 4: If yes check current month (using HRS=CURMO)
Step 5: If yes check current date (using HRS=CURDY) u can also use < or > here
Using the above logic write your rule... It should work out

Well, i would like to finish a task on an event which send me a user decision, so in the tab Event end i put my events. It's work fine. But the most important is that i want to get in my task the user decision. I created a new element in the container of my task : DECISION.
In a test program i used the FM 'SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT' and write the following code :

The event is sent no problem, but i can't get my DECISION element.
I'm on 4.7 version.

Hi,
When you are passing IT_CONTAINER to 'SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT' and raising an event, it means you are setting up the 'Event Container'.
So, this event container element should also be passed to Task. This can be done by doing binding between Event Container and Task Container.
Before that you should have DECISION parameter defined on Event parameter's list, you should this from SWO1.

You have to put an extra decision in the PCR, checking the date.
If its for payroll and is for a specific pay period, check out the documentation for operation CMPER. Here you can say "compare the current pay period with period PP/YYYY. Then the rule can do different things for either <, > or = the period....
Or you can use a value in one of the tables read by PCRs (eg T511K or T510P).
If you use T511K as an example, set up a constant with value "0". On the date you want to activate the rule, the value becomes 1.
Then in your rule you say
AMT=K(your constant)
AMT?0
etc etc...
T511K works for both Time Eval (using HRS=C****) and payroll....

Bring the change of PSA in decision operation

Hi friends,
Irrespective of an action i need to consider the chnage of the PSA as a decision parameter for a payment.....is it possible to do?

Consider using dynamic action for change of PSA. Your dynamic action for relocation should be triggered after maintaining IT0001.
You can use the following conditions for triggering your relocation.
1. Dynamic action on It0001, change of field BTRTL.
2. Plausibility check on action
3. Plausibilty check on PSAVE-BTRTL<>P0001-BTRTL
For the above validation you can trigger your relocation allowance either in foreground or background.

UK Payroll : /111 Splitting

Hi Experts,
The issue is regarding with wage type /111 and related PCR.
We have one customized wage type 1234 in IT0014. As per the requirement it should calculate percentage of /111 and percentage will be given in IT0014.
For this we have written one customized PCR, working fine. However whenever EE salary changes (increase) in retroactively /111 is splitting twice (In RT table it is showing both cumulated value) and WT 1234 is calculating percentage on first part of /111.
Ex: Employee April’14 month /111-pensionable pay are £1000 (Monthly salary is also £1000) and April’14 payroll has been run, WT 1234 value is £100 which is 10% of /111.
In May’14 the EE Monthly salary increased to £2000 with effective 15.04.2014. While running retro for April’14 in May’14, WT /111 are splitting into two parts. One is £1000*14/30=£466.67 & 2000*16/30=1066.66 at processing level (in RT it is showing 1533.34, Correct value). Based on increase of /111, the WT 1234 value should be 153.34 (466.67+1066.66=1533.34), however in RT table I can able to see only £46.67 which is calculating percentage on the first part of /111.
As per the requirement my WT 1234 value should be calculate on final value of /111 rather than first part of /111 even though retro process happened.
I have enter my PCR in ZGL0 sub schema I have also tried to add this PCR after GPENS, but no luck.

E-recruitment requisition workflow(WS 51800008)

Hello All,
We are facing issue in approval of requisition workflow(WS 51800008).The issue is as follows,
When we forward the requisition to recruiter for approval,the workflow WS51900008,WS51900005 are triggered corresponding to events CREATED,Status Change,but no agent is assigned for both of them.So i suppose the approval Workflow WS51800008 is not triggered
Could someone pls explain me in detail as i m relatively new to e-recruitment.We have done all the necessary settings for the workflow and implemented the note
Note 746709 but with no results.

Both the url are almost same,atleast the return url should contain decision parameter but its not the case here.
What can be the problem,have any one faced similar issue.
And what are the events/workflow steps that occur after clicking approve button.i guess it should trigger
status change workflow WS51900005 to change the status.
In my case if i check in swel it jus says WEBSERVICE completed event been triggered.
Pls do help stuck in this for very long now.

Here user can enter specific ORG_ID to get the results. Also user has provision to get all the organization belonging to particular P_RESP_ID parameter. When user pass ORG_ID = -1 then it mean, he wants all organization for the entered parameter P_RESP_ID.
Note: If user enters -1, only last part of ' union all' returns results, otherwise first part of 'union all' returns results. Also tables will have 0 records for parameter ORG_ID = -1 . So I have selected -1 as decision parameter.
Now my question is, Is there any other way of writing this query? I want to have query with good performance and more optimized. As per my knowledge this is the optimized query. Can anyone suggest if there is good optimized way of writing the same query?

How to approve or release a Custom workflow release strategy using a prog.

Hi There,
I am working with a custom transaction with release strategy using custom workflow. I am done with the module pool and workflow templates. And also I can able to start workflow using the FM SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.
My actual Issue is I have set of buttons in the module pool screen with names Approve (1 to 5) and Reject (1 to 5). When I press the "Approve 1" release strategy of the first person need to approved. Is there any Function Module or Classes for approving the workflow release strategy using buttons in screen.

Hi
Make use of the function module SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE. To this function moduel pass the workitem ID and pass decision parameter value as 0001 for approve and 0002 for rejection action. You can check in this forum with this function module you will find lot of threads.
If its not a decision step then you can make use of SAP_WAPI_EXECUTE_WORKITEM or SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE.

Problem in feature 40ack

HI SAP GURUS,
I am facing a problem regarding feature 40ack. For the year 2010 the acknowledgement numbers is not getting saved or activate the error showing " Decision operation not unique because field value occurs several times. Please tell me the solution.

Under FYEAR you will already have values for previous years like 2008, 2009 etc. Note that only one decision parameter of FYEAR will be required. Don't create more than 1.
Now Put cursor on FYEAR and clcik on create button, it will ask for a new value of year, here you maintain 2010 and enter.
Now select 2010 and again click on create. Now you will get a pop up screen which will contain the radio button like 'Return Table', 'Field for decision parameter' etc. Here select return table and and maintain the acknowledgement number in
1/123456789012345 format.

The return values which you have maintained for the decision parameter are not acceptable that's why it's throwing that error.
Your PPMOD feature is based on company code and functional area.
Try to maintain it as follows:

PDA ADHOC ETHERNET WIRELESS DROPS OUT

I'm utilizing an AD-HOC computer to computer wireless Ethernet connection between my laptop and my PDA to transfer data between my laptop and PDA.
The LabVIEW application on the PDA runs great once I have a good wireless Ethernet radio connection! However, I am having continuous trouble with the wireless Ethernet radio connection. It can take minutes to finally establish connection at times, sometimes it won't connect for hours, sometimes it will connect immediately. The signal strength meter on the PDA will go from good to best to good to dropping out entirely. Some days it works great, connects quickly, and stays connected. Some days it hardly connects at all. It all appears only to happen in my work environment, which includes being in a building and also outside on a test track. I tried the system at home over a recent 4 day holiday. The system connected immediately, and stayed connected every time for the entire four days. I would shutdown and re-connect from time to time. Every time the response was excellent.
I'm thinking that I may be having some type of radio interference problem at work. I've tried 9 different broadcast frequencies to no avail. Is there a way of increasing the signal strength of the radio frequency being transmitted from the PDA? Something I'm missing?
The Dell Axim 51V PDA is running windows mobile with the latest bios upgrade. The latest bios version hasn't offered any soultion. I also have the same issues with a Dell Axim 3.1 PDA running pocket PC 2003.

This is the nature of WIFI but you can improve matters.... If someone has one of those television transmitters that uses WIFI 2.4Ghz you are probably shot although I can report that the XBOX 360 controllers seem to exist very happily....
Set the data rate as low as possible to support the application and also set the Fragment Threshold and RTS thresholds lower (750 from 2500).
You may also find it helpfull to turn of auto channel hopping and fix the channel as well as turning off features such as pre-amble length detection and if there is a roaming decision parameter adjust it for distance rather than throughput. Turn it off if you can.
I also found that fixing IP addresses routes etc. seems to help as well and it seems more tolerant of drop outs as a result.
This is generally in the configuration parameters for the hardware.
This will need to be done at both ends.... I suspect however that an access point would be better as the antenna location will or should be optimised That's one reason why people use them. In an industrial context the best I have seen to date is the CISCO stuff but it costs....

Connection between laptop and PDA

Hello eveyone,
I was wondering if anyone has got an idea on how to do this...
I am trying to design a software (Location Based) that will connect my laptop to a pocket pc Toshiba e740 using wireless technologies.
i need to somehow send applets or java swing application to my PDA from my laptop.
I need to use java technologies for the prgramming.
Please has anyone got an idea on how to do this?

Assigning Payroll area to Personnel Number

How to assign payroll area to personnel number?
From 0001 ( org. assignment what are the steps to be followed ? )

GO into tcode pe03 and configure the feature ABKRS asp the req of the customer.
For example - suppose For india you have 2 personnel area PA1 and PA2 for which you have 2 payroll area X1 & X2.
Now Go into feature ->
in otherwise section maintain decision parameter molga (may be present already)-> retrun value 40 -> now decision parameter perseonnel area -> maintain 2 return value PA1 & PA2 -> For these maintain final value as X1 & X2 for PA1 and PA2 respectively.

Transaction screen

I have one transaction using for
1) raising request
2) approving request
the problem is the user want the screen for 1 but when he opens the transaction its showing for 2 screen

Your question is a bit unclear, but still some inputs :
If it is an standard transaction , then customization would have been done by using SPRO transaction.
If it is created by you , then you need to understand the flow of execution of transaction and under which case 1 or 2 are executed and make the changes as required.In case, you are calling the T-code from your report then you need to use this decision parameter.
