Define rules for tables in personas

Hello,
I'm having this strange issue in personas right now that is leaving curious for what is actually going wrong.
So I want to hide every row that is not having the "tick mark" in the box. See picture for personas rule that I have defined. A is the column with the tickable box.
Before i save the flavor it looks like personas is actually trying to do the rule that I have defined. The rows that don't have the tick mark is now grey.
But when I later save the flavor and opens up the table this happens. All the rows are now grey no matter what.
So the result is not very satisfying. And to top it off it looks like its working befor you save the flavor.
Anyone got any ideas on this one?
Best Regars,
Oskar Söderlund

Oskar,
I would first isolate this into two things to study:
1. Does the "Hide row" rule work correctly without check box? - Find another table which does not contain the check box, but some elements. Then set a rule, eg, if value equals to xx, then "Hide rows".  Now check if the grey background works as it is supposed to be.
2. For the use of the ckeck box in table, is "is empty" the right condition that should be used? For a normal check box on UI, it would be "check" method which will sets the tick.
Would this help? Good luck,
Dong Zhu

  • Data not coming from DOE to Mobile After defining Rule for device attribute

    Hi All,
    I have created a DO and rule for it.In case of Bulk Rule for all definition when i triggere extract from Portal then all the data comes to outbound queue but when i define rule for Device attribute then no data comes to my Outboun queue.Here is the scenario what i am doing :
    1. I have order header in my backend which has a field named "Work_Center" and this will be criteria field.
    2. In CDS table i have all the records for all the work center.
    3. Now in RMM under customized , i have added an attribute named "Work_center".
    4. Now i defined a rule with Device attribute mapping and activated the rule.
    5. Now on Portal i assigned this data object and in the device attribute tab i assigned the value(this value exist in CDS table for few orders) of a   Work center to the attribute "Work_Center" .
    6. Then i triggrere extract but its Outbound queue is empty, what could be the reason.
    Is my approach is correct
    Regards,
    Abhishek

    Hi Abhishek,
    You can check one ore thing, after you have performed all the steps till step 5, i.e. just before triggering
    extract. Check if the AT table for ur DO has entries based on the criteria specified by you...
    1. In the workbench click on the Data Object, and then right click and select "View Metadata".
    2. Select Distribution Model tab.
    3. Now select your DO's Association table.
    4. For the input field DEVICE ID specify your corresponing device id,and also for status field specify it
        as "I"  and execute
    If there are any entries now in the AT table, and on triggering extract if they are not coming to the
    outbound Q there is some EXTRACT Q blocked. And is there were no entries in the AT then the rule
    specified is not  the satifying.
    Thanks,

  • User defined rule for missing triples

    Hi,
    i would like to know if there is a way to define a user defined rule for triples that are not contained in a model. With curly brace syntax it could be something like this:
    INSERT INTO mdsys.semr_validation_rb VALUES(
    'test_rule',
    '{?s ?p ?o. OPTIONAL{?s rdf:type ?t}}',
    't is null',
    '(?s <hasType> "false")',
    null);
    Unfortunately this is not working. Has anybody a suggestion to solve this problem with user defined rules?

    Hi,
    This is related to the following post.
    built-in primitives(noValue,remove) for user defined rules
    Note that there is something you need to pay a bit attention to.
    Say your original graph contains
    :John :fatherOf :Mary
    but not any type classification for :John (i.e. no match for {:John rdf:type ?t})
    Assume you add the following triple according to the rule you described
    (:John <hasType> "false")
    Now, what happens if :John is classified as a :Person (or :Parent, :Father),
    do you want to withdraw* :John <hasType> "false"?
    Thanks,

  • Question for customs "Define rules for default document data"

    Hello all,
    we would like to set up the data for AES. We set the country of origin, as you can see on the below screenshot.
    The problem is that the country of origin is not forwarded to AES. In the export declaration under the item detail there is an empty field at the country of origin.
    What do we have to change in the set up "Define rules for default document data"?
    Thanks in advance.
    Sven Sklarek

    Hi Sven,
    Sorry to take the conversation in a different direction, but it's very unusual to propose the Country of Origin (CofO) by default, and not usually accepted by the Customs authority.  Generally the CofO depends on where you obtain the goods.  If that doesn't change much, it's usual to set the CofO on the Material Master record in the ERP system - in that case the value copies automatically into the GTS Export Declaration item.  That is why there is no standard configuration having IT_CUCOO as a Target Field.
    Also, in many countries, CofO is not mandatory in the Export Declaration (although always mandatory in the Import Declaration).  You might want to check the situation in your area.

  • OADP settings for MSS Services - Define Rules for Object Selection

    Hi
    Our client wants to extend MSS to all managers, and to begin with want option of "Only B002 Relationship" in drop down of Team Calendar.
    I have tried all standard options but unable to find a suitable rule(Define Rules for Object Selection) which would restrict the list of employee to only B002 Relationship of Manager.
    Any ideas on how to achieve it?
    Regards
    Yash

    Hello Yash,
    I think first concern here should be to make things work at your end...thus I am not focusing on your evaluation path...that you have set....
    Just to kick off things so that they start work for you.....
    you need to set the evaluation path as I have mentioned in my earlier reply....
    These evaluation paths have been working for me...
    To correct yours as per mine you need to set
    ZB2 as
    10 S B 002 Is Line superior of * S
    and set
    ZB3 as
    20 S A 008 Holder * *
    Now if still things does not work then...you need to check the Tcode PPOM_OLD and see if the correct reporting relationship (B002) exists for the logged in user.....
    These evaluation paths are very confusing for me.....and so I am not trying to correct what you have set in ZB2 and ZB3....
    And also note that there can be more then 1 way to achieve your goal with evaluation paths.....
    Yash here on we will focus on this thread only.......Let Upendra clear his doubts with that thread.....right..?

  • Define Rules for Variants under Daily Work Schedules.

    Hi All,
    Can anyone explain me what is the use of Define Rules for Variants under Daily Work Schedules.
    Also can some one explain what is the meaning of below representation
    Rule   No      Holiday Class     HolClNextDay          Day     Varaint
    01     03         X.........              XXXXXXXXXX      .....X.     A
    Thanks in Advance
    David

    Hi David,
    Thanks for putting this question .  I was also searching for its answer because when variant is applied on Friday and if any full day public holiday falls on Friday then variant would be null and void.
    I got confused with the holiday class 2 which is half day public holiday, what if it falls on Friday?
    Variant in itself is reduced working hours and half day is one and the same thing.
    I have tried rules in many ways to trigger variant on Friday:
    Rule          HC current.                    HC next day.                   Days.                      Variant
    XX.     01   XX.XXXXXXX                XXXXXXXXX                   ....X..                      B
    XX.     02      ..X...........                       XXXXXXXXX              XXXX.XX
    Or
    Rule          HC current.                    HC next day.                   Days.                      Variant
    XX.     01   XX.XXXXXXX                XXXXXXXXX                 ....X..                        B
    In the 1st case the 2nd condition is unnecessary confusing, however things are working fine with only 1st condition.
    Please clarify what is the difference in 1st and 2nd case?

    Hi gurus

    I could find some standard entries there .and check for F1 help , but not under standing it clearly .
    check in help.com in the link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8a/9868bc46c411d189470000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
    but cant able to find that topic . can any one explain how to how to define a rule in that table .with documentation link .
    Regards
    Arumugam.

    Hi,
    The rules allow you to stipulate that a variant of the daily work schedule should apply on certain days. Taking the following parameters into account, you can set up rules for daily work schedule variants:
    The public holiday class
    The public holiday class of the current day
    weekday
    Eg: If we want half day holiday before public holiday, without going to rule we can do through daily workschedule vairant. However,
    Rule  B1234546789  B123456789  1234567  variant
    01     x                       x                xxxxxx   A
    Second column representing the before public holiday, 3rd column representing the current public holiday, 4th column representing the weekday, 5th is variant.
    Here, how i selected, i required half day holiday before pulic holiday class(1), for that i have given X in first column under B, any working days.
    Good Luck

    Hi Kamal,
    In SCAL- At the time of creating public holiday you can define in Guaranteed section as Public Holiday on Sundy (Select Sunday) , then move to next day  or move to previous day

  • Custom Design rules on table partitions

    Hi
    I need to create several custom design rule at the table partition level.
    for example one of the rule is that
    for all table partitions
      if a table partition name begins with M
        then it should not be compressed
        and also should not be in tablespace called xyzHow do i go about enforcing this rule using the design rules

    Hi,
    here is simple example, you can improve it easily. In fact you have two rules and it's better to create two rules.
    var ruleMessage;
    var errType;
    var table;
    //define the function
    function checkPartitions(){
    ruleMessage = "";
    model = table.getDesignPart();
    tp = model.getStorageDesign().getStorageObject(table.getObjectID());
    result = true;
    if(tp!=null){
      partitions = tp.getPartitions().toArray();
      for(var i=0;i<partitions.length;i++){
       partition = partitions;
    if(partition.getName().startsWith("M") && "YES".equals(partition.getDataSegmentCompression())){
    result = false;
    ruleMessage = "Partition " + partition.getName()+" for table "+tp.getLongName()+ " cannot be compressed";
    break;
    tablespace = partition.getTableSpace();
    if(tablespace!=null && "xyz".equals(tablespace.getName()) && partition.getName().startsWith("M")){
    result = false;
    ruleMessage = "Partition " + partition.getName()+" for table "+tp.getLongName()+ " cannot be in tablespace xyz";
    break;
    return result;
    //call the function
    checkPartitions();
    you should define it for "Table" object. And your physical model should be open.

    else
    l_sql := l_select||l_order_by;
    end if;
    return l_sql;
    end;
    Just so you know, this is not necessarily the best way to do what you're asking. It does get the job done however.
    If you inspect the code it's basically just a bunch of string concatenation operations based on the presence or absence of each of the input parameters. Pretty much what you were asking about.

  • ESS - Define Rules

    Hi everyone,
    In the "Define Rule for Object Selection" via SPRO we have created
    a custom rule Z_ESS_LEA_RULE5 which is based on the evaluation path
    O-S-P. This brings back a list of employees for a particular Org. Unit.
    This is working perfectly. However, I now need to add some extra functionality
    to the list of employees that it is selecting.
    i.e. just need to bring back people that have a certain SAP role allocated to them.
    Can anyone tell me if this can be done? Where does the ABAP get called??
    I can't to see anywhere any ABAP code anywhere where I could make a custom copy
    and add some new code.
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Andy

    Hi mate, thanks for replying again.
    I am very new to all this ESS stuff !!!!
    Can you tell me what the standard FM's are called ??   I presume they start with HRWPC?????
    We have a new custom rule using the evaualtion path O-S-P. I need to change the ABAP behind
    whatever the rule is calling but I don't know where to look?? That is my biggest problem
    Thanks again for replying, much appreciated

  • Business rules for leaves

    Hi All
    I know we can define calendar and holiday rules.
    Can we also define rules for 'leaves'?
    Say for example, a participant 'P' in role 'R' is on leave for 3 days, then all his due instances get postponed by these three days. Alternatively, all his instances become available to his manager to work on. The manager can be in the same Role 'R'.
    Thanks

    I am just worried , is it really possible to attach Business rules for an Adhoc grid?

  • How to define an aggregation rule for a dimension based on bridge table?

    Hello,
    I need a solution for aggregating data correctly when using a dimension based on a set of dimensione tables containing a bridge table. Please find below a description of my business case and the OBIEE model which I’ve created thus far.
    Business Case
    The company involved wants to report on the number of support cases, the different types of actions that were taken and the people involved in those actions. One support case will undergo a number of actions (called ‘handelingen’) until it is closed. For each action at least one person is involved performing a specific role, but there can also be multiple persons involved with 1 action, each performing a different role for that action. This is the N : N part of the model.
    The problem that I face is visible in the two pictures below:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/sample.png
    As long as I don’t include anything from the Dimension Meelezer in my report, I get the correct number of handelingen (7). When I include the person (called ‘Meelezer’), the measuere per action is multiplied by the number of persons/roles involved with that action.
    When I changed the Aggregation rule in the report column #Handelingen to ‘Server Complex Aggregate’ I do get the correct endtotal:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/sample2.png
    I believe it should be possible to define in the repository a different aggregation rule for individual dimensions, but I’ve not been able to achieve this.
    Explained below is what I have created in my Physical and Business Model & Mapping layers:
    The Physical Model is built like this:
    (This is just a small part of a much larger physical model, but I’ve only included the most relevant tables)
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/PhysicalDiagram-1.png
    The Fact table (ALS Feit Zaakverloop) contains FK’s for the action (FK_HANDELING, joined to ALS Dim Handeling), the date the action took place (FK_DATUM_ZAAKVERLOOP, joined to ALS Dim Datum Zaakverloop) and the uniqe group of people involved (FK_MEELEZERS, joined to ALS Groep Meelezers) and a measure column (SUM_HANDELINGEN) populated with the value ‘1’ for each row.
    The Bridge table (ALS Brug Meelezer/Reden Meelezen) contains three FK’s: FK_GR_MEELEZERS (joined to ALS Groep Meelezers), FK_MEELEZER (joined to ALS Dim Functionaris) and FK_REDEN_MEELEZEN (joined to ALS Dim Reden Meelezen).
    The Business Model
    In the business model, the four physical tables for the N:N relation have been combined into one logical dimension table.
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/BusinessModel-1.png
    DIM Meelezer contains one LTS in which the four physical tables have been combined:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/LTS1.png
    And all the required locical columns have been created:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/LTS2.png
    DIM Meelezer has also been identified as a bridge table and a Business Key has been defined on a combination of the FK’s in the bridge table and business codes of the two dimension tables.
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/BMDIM.png
    Next a hierachy was created for Dim Meelezer:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k24/The_Dutchman_2006/OBIEE/Hier.png
    In Feit Zaakverloop, a measurement called ‘# Handelingen’ was created using SUM_HANDELINGEN, with an aggregation rule of SUM.
    In the LTS of both the DIM Meelezer and Feit Zaakverloop, the Logical Content Levels have both been set to: LVL Detail – Meelezer.
    Please provide suggestions that will NOT require changes to the physical datamodel as they would require too much time to achieve (or at leats would not be ready before my deadline.
    Thanks!

    Varchar(n/max) is a variable-length, non-unicode character data. N defines the string length and can be a value from 1 through 8,000. Max indicates that the maximum storage size is 2^31-1 bytes (2 GB). The storage size is the actual length of the data entered
    + 2 bytes. We always use varchar when the sizes of the column data entries vary considerably. While if the filed data size might exceed 8,000 bytes in some way, we should use varchar(max).
    So the conclusion is just like Uri said, use varchar(max) or varchar(4000) is depends on how much characters we are going to store.
    The following document about varchar in SQL Server is for your reference:
