Delay record the checkpoint# in the controlfile by incremental checkpoint.

Hi ,
I want to make sure:
    alter system set log_checkpoints_to_alert=true;
then
I found , after a while , incremental checkpoint appears in the alertlog saying:
    begin checkpoint .... to RBA.....
but for a long time , It still not write the controlfile for the checkpoint.
Why?

You think about it:

  • IPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds recorded. This happens randomly and often and sometimes has the delay but starts at zero. Solution Anyone?

After iOS 7 update, my iPhone 4s Voice Memo App has 5 second delay when the record button is pressed. When it starts recording, it goes from 0 seconds to 5 or so seconds that it shows has recorded. This happens randomly and often, sometimes it will have the 5+ second delay but starts recording at zero seconds. Besides the delay it has been working fine as far as saving and playback is concerned. I have plenty of storage on the phone itself and it NEVER had this problem before I updated to iOS 7. I've reset the phone a couple times by holding down the power and home buttons at the same time. The reason I have an issue with this is that I'm always recording song ideas, melodies, and scratch takes; what I'm saying is when I come up with an idea I need to be able to know that when I hit record it will start right then so I don't forget anything that has just popped in my mind.
Does anyone have a solution or suggestion?
    Thanks

  • CHECKPOINT count is beyond the controlfile CHECKPOINT count

    Hi ,
Im getting the following error when trying to open the DB.
ORA 1207 file is more recent than control file
    From metalink Note : 283927.1
    Cause
The information in this file is inconsistent with information from the control file.
The datafile header CHECKPOINT count is beyond the controlfile CHECKPOINT count.
What is the select statment that i can run to check if it true ?
    Thanks.

Need more information here. Looks like you did some restore or file copy.
You get this error when you have replaced your database control file with some old copy or one of your datafile is different.

  • When I record an audio track, there is a waveform. When I stop recording, the waveform disappears and becomes a straight line. It also disappears from the track edit window. But the sound is there. How can I stop the waveform from disappearing?

When I record an audio track using Logic Pro X, there is a visible waveform which appears as I record. When I stop recording, the waveform disappears and becomes a straight line. It also disappears from the track edit window. But the sound is still there. How can I stop the waveform from disappearing? And can I do something to view it after it has disappeared? Anyone know the anser?

    In Logic:
    Preferences/Audio Set Recording Delay to 0 <zero>
This should always be set to zero unless a specific set of circumstances exist and you're audio drivers do not report position correctly.
On occasion, usually when importing a Logic 9 project, Logic-X randomly changes this to a negative/positive number.  It's actually a bug in Logic, as it should always display the waveform.

  • Delay into the inbound qRFC queue

    Hi:
I am sending a pack of idocs with an xml message through an idoc channel from XI to R/3.
Can I do a delay between the sending of each idoc?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    It is very simple.
    If you use BPM,
See first you need to collect IDocs as you mensioned pack of Idocs, this can
be done by the following way
    - first import Idoc into IR,
    - export the IDoc structure file WSDL and change max occur as 0..unbounded.
    - again import into IR under external def
After this collect Idocs and MM,IM target as unbounded msg.
    In BPM Use steps
Receive - receive msgs and maitain loop upto satisfying your business requirement condition
maitain the block with foreach mode and put wait step whatever you want to delay
each mesg od IDoc can be send to target by transformation step which will send each record as IDoc sending to target by send step
    Try..
Please let me know you got it clear or not.

  • Recover database when losing all the controlfile

I read theBackup and Recovery Advanced User's Guide of 10g R2.
I can't quit understand a scene in Restore Control File from Backup After Loss of All Current Control Files
Table 18–1 Scenarios When Control Files Are Lost
When the status of onlin log is Unavailable and the status of datafile is current, the restore procedure is as following:
If the online logs contain redo necessary for recovery, then
re-create the control file. Because the online redo logs are
inaccessible, open RESETLOGS (when the online logs are
accessible it is not necessary to OPEN RESETLOGS after
recovery with a created control file).
My question is even you create the controlfile based on the current datafiles, the lost online log is still needed for the recovery (consdering the DB is shutdown abort)
So I can't get the DB consistent

    Hello;
OK, I reviewed the section you referred to :
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14191/osrecov.htm#i1011093
I understand your question but I have doubt you could shutdown a database abort and have a Status of Datafiles of Current. As you state yourself "lost online log is still needed for the recovery" so I'm not sure I would a Shutdown Abort
Loss of Redo Logs are bad news. You want to avoid this at all cost. You not only want to multiplex the redo groups, but have each member on separate physical devices using separate controllers. If you setup correctly the only time you should ever have to preform an incomplete recovery is the lost of ALL members of the CURRENT group. Otherwise you should be able to recreate a member, clear a logfile or do a checkpoint and clear the logfile.
V$LOG and V$LOGFILE are your friends.
If you ever lose all members of the current redo log group contact Oracle Support ASAP.
    Best Regards

    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

  • Is there a way to pre-record the timing of the slides and effects in a keynote presentation, so that you can present it without having to press anything?

Hi! It would be great if someone could tell me how to pre-record timings in a keynote presentation, so that when presented, it plays by itself, based on the pre-set recordings. I know there is a way to do it by going to      Inspector>Document> Audio> Record          However when you do this, your computer also records the sounds it picks up with the microphone, which can greatly affect the sound. I have Keynote '09. Thanks in advance!

Open the Settings app > Notifications > Messages. Scroll down adn turn OFF "View In Lock Screen". You may want to consider setting Alert style to none, but this will not impact what happens when the screen is locked.

  • Is there a way to get the coherence reporter to record the interval?

There are three questions, really - but the first is the most important.
    1. Can you get the reporter to record the duration since the last batch in seconds (or ms) in the same row as the current batch?
    2. Can you get the reporter to record the timestamp in the report rows as ms since epoch (preferrably alongside the regular date in a different column, but by itself it'd probably be ok)
    3. Is there any way to hook into the reporter output to customize how it records the actual data?
The jmx reporter records the batch number and the date of the batch run, but I don't see an easy way to get it to record the current date as a MS timestamp.
I've thought about creating a simple custom MBean that existed to do nothing but expose the current time in ms since epoch as an attribute that I could then have the reporter use and include a column both for the absolute date and for the relative date. Having certain metrics reported in terms of # of events / second would make it easier to analyze certain data (for instance, instead of showing the total ReadTimeMillis if it would show ReadTimeMillis / Reads / # ms * 60 to get the average time for a read, that would be a lot more useful for comparing intervals)
The intervals are never run on exactly the same schedule because the timer starts after the last report runs and the duration of running all the reports is not uniform.
(It'd also be very nice if the outputting of the reports were configurable and there was a way to plug into the reporting engine to hook in a different output method - e.g. to a database or to send the data over UDP to a graphite server or something)

When I record the keyboard sounds as a midi track in Logic
I loose my sounds when I bounce to disc. Why do the sounds
not record on the hard drive when I bounce the midi track.
The plug in software instruments bounce fine to disc, but
not my keyboard sounds (external instrument-Roland XP 50
    Keyboard)???
Think about it for a minute.... for one, MIDI is not audio, it's only data, you are not recording sound into the computer, the audio for the XP50 is coming out of the keyboard's audio outs. Software instruments take MIDI data and output directly to audio, so... they bounce fine as their output is audio. Your XP50 keyboard's audio outs are on the keyboard. So, you will have to record the audio from the keyboards output. I notice you're using Logic Express, unfortunately it doesn't have the I/O plugin.

  • There is a delay to the provision of your Broadban...

OK I've just moved home.  My sole source of income is from the Internet so am temporily living round my parents until my "Broadband - Unlimited BT Infinity 2" is activated.  Was supposed to be activated on Friday, but got a message on my BT page saying:
"There is a delay to the provision of your Broadband order which we are currently investigating with our suppliers. We will keep you informed of any progress, please keep checking online for further updates".
I've been in communication with a couple of people from BT, but they both claimed to be in the wrong department to help me.  I got 2 different phone numbers to ring tomorrow 0800 731 0286 and 0800 800 150.  Which would be the correct number to ring?
Is it likely to go on for a long time before I get connected?  What would people advise me to do in order to speed up the process as much as possible?  I'm still paying rent on my old home in case I don't like it in this new area.  So I'm paying 2 lots of rent, 2 lots of council tax and living at my parents!

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.
    For example:
    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue. This is causing a major blocking for my testing

Looking at the error message "The Network Adapter could not establish the connection" , It appears hostname and port may be incorrect. Review the targets.xml under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\emd and
emoms.properties under E:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\SAP_solman_SDB\config folder to make sure host ( sap_solman) and port (1527) are correct.
As far as setting the environment variables goes, you can go to control panel -> system -> advanced -> environment variables and set the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID

    Hi Sansony,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand you would like to record audio from the headphones you connected to your computer. When recording audio with QuickTime Player, you can choose to use the built-in microphone, an external microphone you’ve connected, or a microphone from a connected Apple display. Please use the following article as a reference.
Mac Basics: QuickTime Player creates, plays, edits, and shares video and audio files
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4024
Clicking the triangle icon gives you additional options, such as letting you choose whether to use the built-in microphone on your Mac, an external microphone you've connected to your Mac, a microphone from a connected Apple display, or the option to simply use no microphone at all. The triangle also allows you to adjust the finished quality of your screen recording, select whether or not your mouse clicks are shown during the recording (the pointer is highlighted when you click), and to select what location (on your Mac) to save your screen recording when finished.
    Have a great day,
    Joe

  • How do I create a time delay so the signal from my throttle is not too fast for an ESC?

I am using Labview to control a ROV using a Playstation 3 controller.  When I throttle too quickly the ESC cuts off and resets.  I talked to the manufacturer of the ESC and they said the probable cause was the signal was changing to fast for the ESC to follow andthey recommended putting a delay in the program to allow time for the ESC to read the throttle increments.  My question would be "How do I do this?"  Thanks

I'm not exactly sure how to do what you are talking about.  I have been doing this for about a month and have taken only an intro class in Labview at my university.  Could you point me in the right direction to learn how to do it .  I have attached the VI just in case you wanted a closer look at it.  Thanks
    Ivan

  • Capturing on a Mac- can't turn off the sound (still want to record the audio)

How do you turn off audio output during capture on a mac but I still want to record the audio?

Easy on a PC, I click the "speaker" icon at lower right of Windows screen and bring up the audio mixer and just MUTE Premiere, then I can surf the web, watch online videos, listen to music etc, without hearing the capture audio. Assuming that's what you wish to do? Must be a similar option on Mac
    Thanks
    Jeff
