Delete every file which size is smaller than 10kb

Hello,
how can I delete every file which size is smaller than 10 kb?? I'd thought that i can do that with the methode "length()"... but nothing happens.
File tryToDelete = new File( ".");
String [] listing = tryToDelete.list();
for (int z = 0; z < listing.length; z ++)
    if ((listing[z].length()) < 10000)      //does anyone know what is wrong here??
         File away = new File(listing[z]);
         away.delete();

ups... you are right... but I still have an problem...
I want to delete only the files which are smaller than 10 kb and starting with the "http".
But it doesn't work, when I run the code:
File tryToDelete = new File( ".");
String [] listing = tryToDelete.list();
for (int z = 0; z < listing.length; z ++)
    if (listing[z].startsWith("http");
         File away = new File(listing[z]);
         if ((away.length()) < 10000)
         System.out.println(away);
}then he prints me out ALL files which size is smalletr than 10000. But I only want to have the files which starts with "http".
What is my error??
