  • Service for delete local files in Business Connector

    I have used the "get" service for copy the files in the Business connector, does anybody know if there is any service for delete local files, i have seen the service for delete remote files with ftp, but i don´t know how to delete the copied files in my server.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Carlos,
    For this issue the best choice is create your own Java Service. I attach you the Java code:
      Put this code in a new Java Service
             boolean success = (new File("filename")).delete();
             if (!success) {
                 // Deletion failed
       Before, you must to create an input parameter in the new service where you must to save the file path. Change Filename with the input parameter variable.
       It's not difficult.
    Best Regards

  • XP/DW CS4 - Delete Local Files In Site View

    Hi -  I've recently begun using a PC for webdesign at work (coming from OSX).
    When I am in "Site View" in DW CS4 and I delete a file or folder locally from my PC's HD it takes a really long time (aprox 1.5 minutes) to complete. Sometimes this actually causes DW to crash completely.
    Not to start a flame war or anything but on my Mac this feature works beautifully - DW has no problem playing nicely with the finder. Anyone know how I can resolve this other than leaving DW and going to Windows Explorer to delete local files and folders?
    Thanks!

    No. It's one of the features that was removed from CS4. Adobe
    announced
    the decision to remove it in August 2007:

  • ACS 5.3, delete local backup files.

    Hello.
    I'm doing a basic setup of ACS 5.3. For now, I'm configuring backup to a local repository
    repository Backup
      url disk:/Backup
    How can I automatically delete old files? I need to keep only the last seven files.
    Thanks.
    Andrea

    I am not aware about anyway to do that.
    You can take a backup then do data purge.
    Deletion of those files can also be possible if you have a root patch and you are aware about where those are being stored in the file system.

  • Local Files are deleted upon disconnecting from project

    Running Version Cue CS3 3.1.0 with latest Bridge. (PowerMac G5 - OSX 10.4.11)
    Im running the VC server on my local machine. Intention is for only myself to use it for version control.
    I created a project, added my files... the standard local file path is ~/Documents/Version Cue/projectname
    2 issues, perhaps the same issue
    whenever i attempt to disconnect from the project... the local files are deleted...
    so, if i had set a custom path for my projects local files, VC immediately deletes the files, and next time trying to connect, the local file path is reset to the ~/Documents/Version Cue/projectname
    Is this how VC is supposed to function?
    Any help or insight is greatly appreciated!!! Thank you in advance

  • If I delete a file in iCloud, what happens to the local file in ~/Library/Mobile Documents ?

    If I delete a file in iCloud, what happens to the local file in ~/Library/Mobile Documents ? Does it get deleted to?
    Hope somebody can help.
    Thx.

    I'm pretty certain that it gets deleted as well. If you try and open that mobile documents folder, it takes you to the iCloud drive folder. I've been searching for this same issue for the last 24 hours also as I inadvertently deleted my Keynote files stored on iCloud drive thinking I was just temporarily deleting Keynote from my iPad when upgrading to the latest iOS 8 version. (I needed space and thought, "Oh, I'll just reinstall later... Turns out I was in the iCloud storage area, not in my iPad storage area at the time and therefore deleted all my iCloud stored presentations. From every device.)

  • If i have deleted my local files, how can i download all my files at once from the creative cloud server?

    Hi,
    My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again.  is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
    I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.
    Thanks!

    Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
    For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
    All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
    Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
    When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
    Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
    Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
    As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
    Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?
    Thanks

  • [Desktop] Delete (obsolete) tracks in Local Files

    Since the ability to modify local file information was unhelpfully removed, I modified some names of the files themselves and re-synced them. The problem now is the old versions still appear in Local Files as well, just greyed out, and there is no option to delete them, so I have two entries for the same track. This could get very messy very quickly if I want to modify further, I will end up with multiple versions of everything I add in the Local Files list making it very difficult to find the tracks I want.

    I used to have a huge library of music on my computer. I have recently moved it to an external hard drive due to the fact that Spotify has most of the music I like, and I can find the others on Youtube or Google Play. I now have a huge local library of songs that aren't on the computer but are tied to Spotify's local library, and  Spotify defaults to playing the local files when they are available.(Even when they are selected from an artist's page) This means that when I try to play a record that was tied to that name in Spotify, nothing happens, no music. Mine are gone and now I can't listen to my favorite music that i removed specifically because it was avalible on Spotify(and other sources). Please Fix This Now!

  • ...now can I delete my local files?

    All 3 steps on iTunes match are complete, and I'm satisfied with the results. Would you say it's safe to delete the files locally, and just stream all the content?

    After you successfuly "Matched" your songs, you can then delete your originals on your Mac. After deleting them, you will see a cloud icon appear next to the same song. This is the "Matched" version in the Cloud. Click on the cloud icon to download it to your device.

  • Delete PDF file from a folder

    Hi!
    please help me this is urgent..
    i try to delete pdf file from my local pc how to do that ??
    can some one help me i need it by today please help me ..
    thanks to all of you...
    from:
    newbie

    First you open a File to the specified file, and then you call delete(). Easy
    File file = new File("path/filename");
    file.delete();Of course if you want to make your application cross-platform you will need to build a correct path somehow. Check out the static attributes of the File class to help you (fx. File.separator).

    Hi, my application is using POI API generating the Excel report, after genration, the report will be stored on the server, and then user download the report to their local machine throught web and then I delete the report on the server. I don't quitely understand what you mean, could you kindly explain to me detailly:p. Btw, I have tried to print out the exception, but it only shows "java.lang.Exception: File could not be deleted " which is so limited. If I comment the DownReport function, the file could be deleted successfully. But if it happens after the download action, it is failed.
