Delete Result Analysis Data - KKA9

Hi,
After executing Result Analysis in KKAK for Sales Order, from KKA3 I was able to view the line items created.
I deleted the Line items from KKA9 and was successful.
But still I am able to view the old line items from KKA3.
Please let me know why the line items are still existing in KKA3 even though the deletion was successfull.
Thanks
Satish

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
In KKA3 I was selecting from menu Result Analysis-->Display Line Items of RA which shows the RA Line items created.
If we delete Line Items through KKA9 should the old data get completly deleted from KKAA.
Thanks
Satish

  • Cannot manually maintain result analysis data

    Hi,

Please let me know what could be the problem

  • Results Analysis deletion

I have removed the Generate Line ITems indicator in OKG9 per SAP Note 393686 step 5 to eliminate future Results Analysis data.  How do I eliminate the line items that were already generated (into COEP / COBK)?
I deactivated Target Costs line items from populating COEP in CAG using OKV1 per SAP Note 393686 point 4 (50% reduction of future data).  I deleted existing Target Costs line items from COEP for QAG using RKSODEL1 per SAP Note 310089 (50% reduction of existing data).   Is there an equivalent that relates to the OKG9 configuration?
The data management guide (v. 6.2) and SAP Notes (393686, 310089), are unclear (at least to me).
Is archiving the solution?  If so, what do I archive:  PP_ORDER, CO_ORDER, CO_ITEM?

    Hi Joseph
I never heard about the Data Mangt Guide.. So, cant tell you about that.. If you can share the link, I can let you know
The Note 393686 - It says to deactivate a few indicators in order to few performance which you already did
The Note 310089 - It says to use program which you already did
As far as I know, when you run next month Results Analysis, the existing line items would get automatiucally reversed

  • Result Analysis Question

    Hi,
    I need one clarification -
Is it really required to have a revenue in project to run the RA Key.
If i have a actual cost and i want split it into to components (one is 80% and other is 20%).
Then is it possible to achieve using the RA Key?
What i heard about RA is that it hits the controlling and accounting at the period end i.e. Month end and then during the next month appear automatically on the PS object i.e. WBS without doing anything. Is it true?
    Waiting for help.
    Thanks

    Dear,
You should configure settlement peofile and here Allocation structure in in.And  PA transfer structure defines where you wnt to settle. And for distribution of settlement amount you have to define source structure and distribution rule in settlement parameter.
Here you can define the percentage of amount that you want to settle.
Only the result analysis data is avilable to settle.

  • Result Analysis: Planned Quantity from Sales Order Quantity

    Hi,
How to update SO item quantity into planned quantity in transaction KKAK ?
Is there any transaction to run ?
Our scenario doesn't require delivery or production order.
    Sorry for beginner question.
    Thanks,

    Dear Max,
We need to have a valuation method assigned through a Result Analysis key which is assinged in the requirement class of the sales order item. In that we have the customisation for the requested functionality:
Please take a look into the below link for more details:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/90/ba6f37446711d189420000e829fbbd/content.htm
We have a customisation for Profit Basis in OKG3 and it goes as below:
The profit basis specifies how the system determines the planned costs that are used to calculate the results analysis data. For example, the planned costs may be based on the preliminary cost estimate for the production order or on the sales order cost estimate.

  • Result Analysis Posting to FI incase of Projects.

    Dear All,
What settings & steps need to be done to carry out postings for the result analysis data to FI in case of Projects.
           Thanx in advance.

    Hi,
If there is no posting happening in FI then there could be some thing wrong in Cost element / G/L assignment as this will play major role in carrying cost / revenue from project to settlement receiver. Please cross-check your settlement configuration as this will carry calculated revenue / cost from project to FI. Please take the help of FI/CO consultant on this matter.
After calculating revenue / cost through RA, the same will be settled to a receiver such as PSG / G/L etc. There is only one steps after RA i.e. project settlement
If you want to post calculated revenue / cost into FI then calculated result after RA need to be settled to permanent cost object. However after RA, details can be obtained at project level.
In order do settlement, you have to configure settlement profile of the project with allocation structure / PA transfer structure / source structre (if required) etc.
The critical in settlement configuration is proper debit or and  credit account should be defined properly to carry out calculated revenue / cost from project to permanent cost object.
    Hope this will help you.

  • Results Analysis cost elements

    Hello,
The Results Analysis saves the Results Analysis data under secondary cost elements. These cost elements can be determined thru assignment to Line IDs in the transaction OKG4 (OKGA) u201CUpdate of WIP Calculation and Results Analysisu201D, or they can be determined in the definition of Result Analysis Version (transaction OKG2 or OKG9) in the section u201CCost Elements: Results Analysis Datau201D of the Extended Control.
Could you please tell me when the system saves the Results Analysis data under cost elements specified in OKG4/OKGA and when under cost elements specified in Results Analysis Version in OKG2/OKG9 ? How do you control this?
    Best regards,
    Robert

    Hi Sarada,
    thank you for your reply.
However in Results Analysis Version in OKG2 I see the Technical RA Cost Element only in simplified control (Costs Elements Off). In u201CCosts Elements Onu201D control I see the following Cost Elements for Results Analysis Data:
    1. Valuated Actual Costs
    2. Calculated Costs
    3. Capitalized Profit
    4. Calculated Revenue
    5. Revenue in Excess of Billing
    6. Revenue Surplus
When are these cost elements used?
In my KKBC_KUN report I can see some of these cost elements (1 u2013 4), but with 0 values, whereas WIP and COS/Revenue cost elements assigned to Line IDs have positive valuesu2026

  • Result Analysis for Refurbishment order

    Hi Experts,
Could you please explain, can we calculate result analysis for refurbishment orders, I have created the RA key wip cost element ,selected internal and service orders w/o revenue in OKG9 and  other WIP setting, I have assigned this TA key to order type in OIOF, I have created one refurb order, released and confirmed the order, now I have to do month end activity like RA calculation in KKA1 and than settlement.
When i am trying to execute KKA1  I am getting this message " Results analysis data was not changed
    Message no. KJ240"
Could you please advise me how I need to fix this issue.
Appreciate if you can explain the month end process for refurbishment order in detail.
    Regards,

    Hi,
The default settlement rule for refurbishment ordrers is FUL rule to material. This type of rules defines the business scenario where the actual costs are settled only after the order is delivered or technically completed. In such cases the most used solution to monitor costs incurred on the order is to assign a results analysis key to the order and compute the so-called work in process (WIP). WIP (if computed) is equal to the actual costs on the order and it is posted to a WIP account when settling the order before DLV or TECO. When the order is delivered or technically completed, WIP calculation reverse WIP in CO
and the consequent settlement post this WIP cancellation to FI. Simulateously, the actual balance of the order is settled to material.
Check your customizing in OKG9 for the RA version ; have you set flag 'transfer to FI' ?
    regards
    Waman

  • Technical Result Analysis Cost element - OKG2

    Hi,
Need some inputs on Techincal Result analysis cost element(Whats the purpose and its use)
How is it different from those which we assign in Line ids.
    Thanks & Regards,

Cost element created for the following internal purposes:
For calculating work in process ( WIP calculation)
    For results analysis
    Work in Process
When work in process is calculated, the following data is updated under this cost element:
    Valuated actual costs
    Calculated costs
For the calculation of work in process, the valuated actual costs and the calculated costs are only used for internal purposes and do not require separate cost elements. All that is needed is a technical results analysis cost element.
    Results Analysis
In results analysis, the following results analysis data is updated under this cost element:
    Valuated actual costs
    Calculated costs
    Capitalized profit
    Calculated revenue
    Revenue in excess of billings
    Revenue surplus
    Reserves for imminent loss
    Creation of reserve
    Usage of reserve
    Value adjustment
Results analysis data calculated by the
    POC method such as:
    POC Profit increase
    POC Profit decrease
    POC Loss creation
    POC Loss cancellation
    POC Loss realization
    Other cost elements
Valuated actual costs for complaints and commissions
Variances in variance calculation for collective orders
The results analysis cost element for the results analysis data is only for internal purposes, so you don't need to create a separate cost element for each piece of results analysis data. You only need a technical results analysis cost element.

    Thanks

    HI
    1. Go to T code KOM1 > Order Type would $$
    2. CReate an Order and maintain default values in it like Comp code, etc and also the RA key
    3. Now, maintain this model order in your Order Type in KOT2_OPA

  • Result analysis for sub-items on SD-order

    Hello,
I would like to know, whether also the document flow for subitems is being checked while executing result analysis.
    Example:
We have got an SD order, a higher-level item and a sub-item.
Both of them have assigned the same result analysis key. Within this key it is defined in customizing (OKG3), that the Sales Order Structure is A-"Summarize Plan and Actual Data of Subitems on Highest Item"....so the result analysis for the sub-item is being performg via the higher-level item.
The higher-level positions is already completed - the delivery is made and also the invoice is created.
The sub-item is not completed - neighter delivery is made nor the invoice.
While executing the result analysis for the higher-level item, the status FNBL (final billing) is recognized and all cost are settled from WIP to CO-PA.
As far as I know, the document flow should be checked withitn the result analysis and based on this the status should be recognized.
Therefore It seems, that only the document flow from the higher-level item is being checked. If also the document flow from the sub-item is checked, there would be no way to get the status FNBL as the sub-item is not complete.
Is it SAP standard delivered behaviour?
    Thanks in advance
    Peter

    Thanks Waman,
I have tried to delete the result analysis key from the sub-item, but still the same result in result analysis...
Could you tell my the consequences from the 1A setup from the note? It is adviced withitn the note to not use the 1A setup. But we use this and it works fine. Just some messages during the result analysis, that it could not be performed for sub-items, but this has no influence on the values.
    Regards

  • Problem with Result Analysis report (KKAK)

    Hello Experts,
I am facing problem with T-code KKAK, when I am executing this transaction (Results Analysis (RA) on sales orders creates the data for posting to the GL, depending on the sales order (i.e. WIP or COS) ) system is displaying/calculating for all sales order which are already completed (fully shipped and billed), this report displaying in 300 to 400 pages.
My requirement is  .. is it possible to display only sales orders which are no completed. This will help alot.
Please help me to solve this problem.
    Thanks
    Sudheer

    Hi,
in the selection screen of KKAK in "Output options" there is a flag "display closed items".
Uncheck this and ensure that all completely processed orders have status closed (CLSD).
Thus they will not be reported anymore.
