Deleting Plantes replicated from R/3.

Hi,
I replicated plant for mR/3 into SRM using BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL. This worked as expected.
However, I replicated more plants that I wanted. Guess I should have used BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED.
My question: Is there a way to delete the plants we do not want in SRM? I know BBP_LOCMAP table stores the plants.

Hi,
To delete a location, you have to use FM BBP_BUPA_EVENT_DELE2 with the PARTNER_NO (example 0000000012)
Then you can check in table BBP_LOCMAP taht the deletion was done

In order to replicate all plants from MM to SRM, we use program - BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_ALL
In order to replicate selected plants from MM to SRM, we use program - BBP_GET_LOCATIONS_SELECTED
In case a plant has already been replicated from MM to SRM, and subsequently the plant address details are changed in MM,
what is the process to reflect the changed plant details in SRM side? Is there a separate program for this?

LOCATIONS reports helpful to bring plant data into SRM as a business partner.
even you do run a report again you maigh get a report that plant BP updated successfully in SLG1 log.
you can test them in develoment box.
but we dont deal with any processing in EBP other than plant number.
Plant address is not a ship to address as in EBP . Ship to address attributes helps for f\delivery address.
i believe no harm in plant ADDRESS data in srm.

How to release Stock blocked against deleted line items from Sales order.

We have Scenario as follows.
Sales order made for items available in stock. Deleted few lineitems from sales order balance items delivered and invoiced. Sales cycle is complete in all sense.
What we have noticed is when we are creating new sales order / Delivery for deleted items from above Sales order it shows deleted quantity is blocked against old sales order. These line items are no longer
available in old sales order since it is deleted also it is not appearing in open sales order report (VA05).
Overall stock available is same as quantity mentioned in deleted line item.
In MD04 - Sales requirenment transaction it shows sales order / line item against which it is blocked.
i.e deleted line item.
How to release these stock and make available for sales. Any standard process available ? or any other solutions

I got a solution for my question from other forum. for info
Go to SE38 and enter program SDRQCR21 then execute...
Enter line item which is blocked for sales order in MD04 and enter plant then check Data
transfer box and uncheck other boxes... It will pop up information and click yes...
You will get one report and Stock inconsistency will go off and then check it in MD04....

Replication of few Plants(Locations) from SAP R/3 Backend system

Hi All,
Some of the plants which has been created in SAP R/3 Backend System but they are not visible in Enterprise Buyers Portal Production System.
In order to get the missing plants replicated to EBP System shall I run the program
BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM or any other program i have to run,please advise.

In order to replicate the selected plants from R/3 to EBP. Run the report (SA38)
BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED in SRM
In order to replicate all the plants then ru the report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL.

Configuration is not replicated from CRM to ECC for configurable product

Hi,
We have some materials in the system for which the configuration is not replicated from CRM to ECC.
We create a quotation in CRM and configure it. In CRM, the configuration is complete and components are properly exploded but when we check the same quotation in ECC, configuration is incomplete with respect to some characteristics and product references.
Please find below finding
1. If the same material is created in another plant/company code, the configuration is replicated properly.
2. We have also checked that the BOM is completely maintained for plants for which configuration is replicated. But we dont think so it could be an issue since if we create the quotation in ECC instead of creating in CRM, for the plant (for which the configuration is not replicated from CRM to ECC), it is properly exploded and complete.
3. variant prices are replicated properly even though components are not replicated.
We need to know if we can explode the BOM in the configuration even though complete BOM for the particular plant is not maintained. If its not possible to explode, why it is possible for us to explode the BOM in the configuration in quotation.

the configuration (variant configuration and not customization) that is done in CRM contract is not copied to ECC contract. Is it because that item category in CRM is activated for doing the BOM configuration and the same in ECC is not activated for doing the BOM configuration?
My question is that if item category in ECC is not activated for BOM configuration then is it like that the BOM configuration in CRM will not be copied to ECC?

Deleting Vendor informaiton from SC .

Hi,
After selecting the items for the SC and selecting item details, when we change the Business partner location then it is deleting vendor information from Sources of Supply / Service Agents.
So finally if u place SC order it is creating SC with out vendor.
Can any one please let me know how to solve this issue?

We have seen this issue in the past - if you are on SRM 5.0 a note exists to correct the action - however if you are on SRM 4.0 I think you are going to be stuck. Anyway see OSS note 881695 - Source of supply with item changes.
As described if you change plant(location), the product category or the unit of measure the source of supply will be re-determined.
We have previously requested this note to be down-ported to SRM 4.0 but the request was declined as it apparently would require significant changes.

In ECC, With MM06 & with MM17 we have marked the materials for deletion but can not completely delete it. still client users shop for those materials and
We have the requirement to permanently delete the materials from respective SLOCs so that those deleted materials will not be available at all to requester for shopping.
Archiving is out of scope. Can we delete the materials from SRM also in commpr01 ? or Suggest any other pointers

Issue during S.cart creation for mtl which are flagged for del at sto locn
as really said, if you delete a material at SL level , srm not validating but SRM validates at Plant level deletion.
Are you in classic oe ECS, However it would have thrown error while creating PO.
How did you delete the material inSRM ?
After you delete a material in SR, what is the status of material ? Is it blocked, Archieved.

i am trying to delete multiple entries from table while keeping some data.
for example I have the following table
Plant                            Item
US101                         777
US101                         888
US101                         999
US101                         666
I want to keep the rows where the item is 777 and 888 for plant US101 and keep delete the rest data
I wrote the following code
Delete source_package where Plant = 'US101' and Item NE '777' or '888'.
but all the rows get deleted.
I tried deleting single row and it worked.
Delete source_package where Plant = 'US101' and Item NE '777' .
How can I delete multiple rows.

BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL deletes plants in PPOMA

Hi all.
SRM 4.0, backend ECC 6.0, extended classic scenario.
We schedule a batch run every day where the locations are all the time updated using the BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL step. However, I have noticed that several of my locations in PPOMA seem to disappear on a daily basis, so I removed the BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL step from the batch - and now my plants do not disappear anymore.
Have you guys seen this type of behaviour before that the program BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL can actually delete plants from PPOMA? I cannot find any pattern as to which plants it deletes, but it seems to be plants in organizational units where several plants are maintained.

No don't restore your iphone. I've done that several times & it has never worked. -I still have deleted contacts in my iphone texts. *However if you do restore it you will not lose all your data, pics, text messages etc if you backup in iCloud. It restores back to original phone. Very nice :). Anyhowwww....
I JUST figured it out!! :))). Remove the contact from recents.
Start a text. You should see the deleted contact. All the way to the right of the name is a symbol. The symbol is a circle with "i" in the middle. Click that symbol then in red lettering click "remove from recents".

Make sure you donot have any data in cube. If you have some data in cube, then you will not be able to see Delete option.
Right click on the cube-->Delete data.
Then double click on the cube>Goto Edit mode> select the IO under that Dimension> right click> now you will be able to see the Delete option (provided you have deleted all the date from Cube)
Then right click on Dimension-->Delete

How can I create a fIlter to delete only "junk" from the server?

One of my E-mail accounts is that of a major client. I handle their customer service online. Normally our protocol is to always leave all messages on the server, so for that one Thunderbird account, I have it set to never delete messages on the server.
But the account recently started getting a lot of junk messages. Thunderbird is doing a remarkable job at marking those and placing them in the junk folder for that account. I would like to create a filter that could remove them from the server, preferably those more than "x" days old so I could monitor the activity to be sure that no important message are removed.
I did notice that in "Filters" I can create a custom filter from a header of my choice, but can't seem to create what I want which is:
- after mail is marked as Junk by Thunderbird to delete those messages from the server if they are older than "X" days (my choice of "X").
- not delete any other messages from the server for that account

I believe that did it! Thank you. I am running those changes on a secondary E-Mail address for the same job and server and it appears to be working properly.

If it was synced from your computer then it can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need remove/de-select it from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

I have tried log off and then log on. but it make no difference.
Now the Other scenario is that i want to change the datatype of this field to TEXT25.
But it is also not allowing me to change because currently datatype is TEXT20.
So now how can i change the length from 20 to 25.
