Delivery updation using IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY

I'm working on an Inbound processing by extending an IDOC with one custom segment added. Now i have to mapp this custion segment and fields by finding an user-exit. Can any onew tell me wht are the user-exits can be used for this development.

I am trying to change delivery quantity using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE. When I tested the BAPI by giving values in the parameters
HEADER_DATA, DELIVERY, ITEM_DATA and ITEM_CONTROL it is working fine.
However when I use the same BAPI in program and when I am trying to test it I am receiving error 'E/VL/280' (

Can you please check the program in debugging mode, &1 &2 &3 &4 are the place holders specifies some information. Might be missing some information while changing delivery document.

Delivery Updation Failes using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC

I am trying to update teh delivery using
'BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC'.
Inside the BAPI,
CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '004'

In the custom code inside the user exit, I am updating CT_VBPOK     = GT_VBPOK [Fields SONUM and SOBKZ].
The delivery updation for these fields failed.
Please provide me a best solution to accomplish my task.

Before this the data is not saved. After that it is saved.

Document Flow not updated using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

Hi Experts,
I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for doing PGR of an inbound delivery.
Material Document(mblnr) is getting populated but Document Flow of that inbound delivery is not getting updated.Its status is Open.
Can anyone knows how Document Flow can be updated using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE??

LIKP table updation using the IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1

Hi,
Please help me when and where the LIKP table is updating using the FM IDOC_INPUT_DESADV1. I debugged the program several times even though i couldnt able to find the updation part.
Further to the above wherer exactly the idoc number is generrating in this FM.
This is very urgent.Kindly give the replies at the earliest.

I am trying to use IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY FM . Can anyone tell me what are the paramaeters I need to import and export . i am executing the function module ? It is asking for INPUT_METHOD and MASS_PROCESSING . Can you tell me what should I pass in these two parameters ?

IDOC_INPUT_DELVRY: This function module reads the data from the delivery idoc which is received from an external system and then create the delivery document in our system.
For information on the import parameters etc. plz visit www.se37.com and enter the FM name the site will then throw you all the information about that paticular FM.

Hi,
If your are not sure which values to be passed.
Try to have a SELECT on this table and put into an Internal table then pass this respective table fields values to the FM parameters.
Or in SE37 run this FM first by considerieng one entry from the Table T706F and cehck the results. Then you will come to know wat values to be passed. then do the same in the program by calling this FM.
If you can cehck this Fm, all the parameters are referring to the T706F table only.

Delivery Update BAPI in 5.0

Hi,
We are in ECC 5.0 and have the following requirement.
a. Receive loaded weight information from weight control system for a delivery.
b. Update the delivery with that weight information.
Identify if there is batch split on that line item and the number of batches allocated to that line item.
Check inventory for all those batches.
Allocate the weight (weight and qty are equal in our case) to the batches in ascending order of inventory.
Update delivery qty for each batch equal to that weight.
Update Picked quantity equal to that weight.
Update Text information for that line item with all the info that came from weighing system.
In 4.5b we were using BDC on VL02 to perform these updates and that is OK. Also we did not use batch split in 4.5b. Now we want to use batch split and make changes to this program to handle this.
Our issues now are:
1. We prefer to use BAPIs to update delivery with all the info as explained above (with batch split).
2. There seems to be no delivery bapi which updates text information .
3. Delivery update BAPI also does not support updating the PICK qty. (BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE)
4. BDC for new transaction VL02N does not support updating of text information and SAP does not advise to use BDCs for new transactions.
5. SAP seems to advise continuation of old transaction VL02 (in BDC) for this kind of update.
Please advise if there are any other BAPI to achieve this functionality or are we missing some thing?

Thanks for looking into this.
As I understand DELVRY03 is mainly for outbound. I will check to see if we have standard functionlaity to update batch split data using this IDOC.
Just to restate my problem, we already have a custom IDOC to receive the data.
Problem now is how to update that data into SAP in 5.0 using standard BAPI (with little bit of customisation if required).
With the currect IDOC we have we have our own logic to update delivery using BDC.

How to assign the external delivery number using "BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC?
For internal no, the BAPI works and I try to pass the parameters "tbl_request-EXTDELV_NO = XXX" to the BAPI , it prompt an error "Unexpected issue of error message (output NR 751)"

now what if the pc that was originally used to sync my ipod , has corrupt or bad systems files that are causing it from working correctly...? when i plug it in to the o.g. operating sysytems (win xp) it doesnt ever recognize or discover the ipod through itunes. the pc will pop up the "cameras been plugged in, what would you like to do...?" but nothing thru itunes. now if i reboot & run the windows 7 operating system w/itunes that has backed my ipod before & synced a few times as well, but not the o.g. op system used from the beginning (the very initial set up done on the ipod) it works fine, but DOES give me the warning "updating to 5.0 willdelete some of your apps & media, including ... ....will only preserve contacts, calenders," ....etc.
MY HUGE CONCERN IS if i do hit update & go through w/it, & not having been able to sync it to the one normally used to sync my ipod, will that back up i made be able to restore my game seetings, GAME SAVES, & data achievement type information....?
please, i'm very hesitant to go through w/it, so if you can please help me out here & let me know asap.....i canimagine you're all busy busy, so i thank you for your time here w/this

Not that hard. One the computer you are using do the following:
- Transfer iTunes purchases.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music using a third-party program like one of those discussed here.
Copy music
- If you have synced photos you need a paid program like TouchCopy or PhoneView
- When all the media in on the computer, connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
That computer is now your syncing computer. Note that the iPod backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps or music.

Apps are only tied to one account... You can set up two iTunes accounts on your computer, however, and let his iPad sync to his account. If he has never backed up his apps to a computer, however, he will have to redownload all the apps. Afterwards, he can backup to iCloud instead of your computer.

Creation of new internal delivery channel using AQ

Hi,
I wanted to route one of Trading partner data to a different queue.(no want to use existing queues - IP_IN /IP_OUT queue).
This needs to create a new delivery channel using AQ in B2B.
I have gone thru the steps & entered all entries, but I am not able to find any queues created in B2B schema.
Do I need to create a queue using PL/SL in B2B to make it available as internal delivery channel or this setup itself will create a queue in B2B?
PFA the entirs:
for transport parameters
- transport server (B2B server IP)
- Protocol as AQ
-URI - b2b.<uri_name> (name of Queue, wanted to create)
- Hostname
- Port
-SID - b2b
-consumer - b2buser
- receiptient - null
-Polling interval - 6000
Transport server details:
Host name - (IP)
IP - Host IP
username -
Pswd - for B2B schema

As mentioned by TH in the above post, first thing is to create the data type that is used for messages - IP_MESSAGE_TYPE. This data type will already be present in the B2B database and could be reused.
For a new data type you could do the following.

     DOCTYPE_NAME VARCHAR2(512),
     DOCTYPE_REVISION VARCHAR2(512),
     MSG_TYPE INT,
     PAYLOAD CLOB,
     ATTACHMENT BLOB
Once you have created a new Data type ( or are reusing the existing data type), you need to create Queue Table that will hold the Outbound and Inbound message queues. The existing Queue table is "IP_QTAB" which can again be reused.
For new Queue table you could do the following

execute dbms_aqadm.create_queue_table (     queue_table => 'MY_QTAB',
                         queue_payload_type => 'IP_MSG_TYPE',

If you need to reuse the datatype change the queue_payload_type to 'IP_MESSAGE_TYPE'.
Once we have the Queue Table that will hold the queues, we need to add and start the queues that are to be used for the inbound and outbound messages.

execute dbms_aqadm.start_queue(queue_name => 'B2B.MY_IN_QUEUE', dequeue => TRUE, enqueue => TRUE);
If you are reusing the queue table IP_QTAB for creation of new queues, then reference that for the queue_table in above commands.
You need to reference the queue_name eg. B2B.My_OUT_QUEUE in the B2B UI screen.
