Redolog backup taken(-cds) but archive dir not yet cleared.
Hi all,
Yesterday i took redolog backup using brarchive command in my prod server.
brarchive -u / -c force -p initsid.sap -cds
But after completion backup the archive log directory is not yet cleaned as i did the backup
as copy_delete_save.
Size of archive dir is 100GB.
1)I want to take clean up the archive dir now.
2)Why the archive dir is not cleaned ?
3)should i schedule redolog backup daily?
4) In an average of 100 logs generating in a day of 16mb size, so what should be my redolog backup plan?
5)what are editing actions should i do in (initsid.sap) so that after redolog backup archive dir will be automatically
cleaned.

My Functional guy has given me "IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG" and "IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS" for change and create and EXIT "EXIT_SAPLEINM_011".. Is it correct..
Please tell me the flow what should be done..
And What should be done inorder to trigger the code I am going to write in the EXIT..(put a break point and how cal I come to that break point..)

u can test from the transaction code ME22N only.In the messages tab give the output type and the distribution medium as distribution-ale and then save it.
but i am in doubt as the userexit which u specifed is not correct user exit becoz it doesn't contain any data record information.So ask ur functional consultant for the correct one .I have done coding for order confirmation.It will just give u an idea how to populate the custom segments.Please have a look.

You cannot call itunes support at all.
Ther is no telephone support for itunes support.
You can contact them via the support link and ask for an exception to the no refunds rule, but I would not expect it to happen. -

I applied and received an upgrade code to Redeem Mountain Lion for my new MBP.
I get this message when I try to Sign in to the App Store after entering the redemption content code, and also if I just try to "Sign In". The first part of the error is true - I haven't used the AppleID with the iTunes store.
I received the upgrade code using this same AppleID, so I don't think I can use a different AppleID.
I also tried to re-create this appleID...(it was one suggestion I saw for this issue) It doesn't let me since the ID already exists...
The error is:
"This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store. Please review your account information." I click "Review", next message "You must turn on cookies to continue. Cookies must be enabled if you want to create or edit.. etc."

As for cookies. Quit the App Store. Now open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder.
Type this exactly as you see it here: ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go the move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. -
Cannot sync photos "iPhoto library is not yet available"
When syncing iPhone 5s to iMac running Yosemite and get the following error:
"iTunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone "iPhone" because your iPhoto library is not yet available. Please try again later."
This phone has been syncing with iPhoto for some time now. This is a new one to me.
Tried rebooting the phone and the desktop machine, same result.
Interestingly, in iTunes when selecting the "photos" page all I get is the spinning circle for the iPhone, the other selections, Summary, Apps, etc., all load fine.
The same situation is true for the iPad mini, the photo page never loads. I have not attempted to sync the iPad since this error appeared.
Anyone familiar with this error?
This mac has had the "iPod" cache folder deleted in past months to clear another sync error, but had been syncing fine since then.

On your super cool imac:
go to system preferences>users & group>create a new account and name it test (make sure you set it as an admin account)
get an external hd and plug it in
next go to finder>pictures>and copy iphoto library that is located there and put in the external hd
now log into the test account
transfer the iphoto library from external to pictures folder. if you see the same file there, do not worry you are just overwriting it.
once that complete, I would like for you to test your iphone and see if it syncs over.

ITunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone because your iPhoto Library is not yet available.
I've turned my iPhone 4 into a iPod, meaning I only use it to hold music for my workouts. Ever since I've upgraded to Yosmite I can't sync my iPhone 4 to iTunes anymore. I can back it up, but I can't sync. Each time it tells me "iTunes cannot sync photos to the iPhone because your iPhoto Library is not yet available" I don't want to sync any photos, just music.
I've tried to repair my iPhoto Library, restarted my Mac, restarted my iPhone 4 but I still get his error message.
In iTunes when I select my iPhone 4 > Photos, I just get a spinning wheel.
Any thoughts??I can't follow the first link since I just get a spinning wheel for photos.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

I have a 27" desktop mac running with OSX 10.6.8. The bluetooth keyboard started not typing when some of the keys are pressed. Plugged in a wired keyboard, started doing the same thing. When opening up a browser or application, the cursor moves but cannot select anything. Suggestions?

when I connect my iphone to the iTunes, it said "Apple Mobile Device" service not yet activated, service cannot start?
What does it mean? I connect my iphone to iTunes everynight, only tonight this message pop out?You can try to start the AMDS by going to task manager (ctrl/alt/delete), Choose the services tab and right click on the AMDS and choose start service. This will sometimes work, but usually iTunues needs to be reinstalled. If you reinstall iTunes, follow this KB how to article --> http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925

I recently transferred my internet service to another state.I have not yet moved my imac, just my pc laptop. I cannot get my airport extreme wireless router to work. The green light stays lit when everything is connected but I can't connect to the internet. Any suggestions?
I would recommend that you do the following as a minimum:
Power-down the modem, AirPort base station, and computer(s).
Power-up the modem; wait at least 10-15 minutes to allow it adequate time to initialize.
Power-up the AirPort base station; wait at least 5-10 minutes. Note: The AirPort's status light may continue to flash amber after it has intialized. That is because, there may be some additional configuration items necessary, like setting up wireless security, before the overall setup is completed to get a green status.
Power-up your computer(s).
If the above steps do not solve the problem, start over with step 1 above, but then perform the next steps between steps 1 & 2. above.
Disconnect the AirPort base station from the Internet broadband modem.
While all of the devices are powered-down, perform a "factory default" reset on the base station. This will get it back to its "out-of-the-box" configuration and make setting it up much easier, especially if you use the "Assist me" process within the AirPort Utility. (ref: Resetting an AirPort Base Station or Time Capsule)
After the base station resets, go ahead and power it back down.
Reconnect the AirPort base station to the Internet broadband modem. For the Extreme and Time Capsule, be sure to connect the cable to the base station's WAN (circle-of-dots) port.
Continue with step 2 in the first set of steps.
In this basic configuration, the AirPort base station will broadcast an unsecured wireless network with a Network Name (SSID) of Apple Network NNNNNN. Network clients, connected to the base station either by wire or wireless, should now be able to access the Internet through the ISP's modem. Once Internet connectivity has been verified, you can use the AirPort Utility to configure the base station for wireless security and any other desired options. Please post back your results. -
I have just purchased a subscription of Acrobat XI Pro, which I installed in my computer a long time ago, when I first tried it. Alas, I cannot open the application, which keeps asking me for a serial number I have not yet received. What the hell is going on?

I opened iTunes and the cloud is not syncing up, so i cannot watch movies or tv shows over the cloud through itunes, however it was there a few days ago, now randomly gone.
Are you sure you bought and not rented them? Renting lets you to access the video for up to 48 hours.
