Hi all,
I Trying to deploy a simple J2SE app by making an Executable JAR File, however I don'r understand how to add a valid value to the Main Class field.
I followed the following description within Jdev, after creating a Deployment Profile:
Deploying an Executable JAR File
You can make your simple archive or J2EE Client Module into an executable JAR file that you can launch with the java command.
To deploy an executable JAR file:
1) Select and right-click the simple archive or client icon in the Navigator to display the context menu.
2) Choose Properties.
3) Click JAR Options in the tree.
4) Select Include Manifest File (META-INF/MANIFEST.MF).
5) In the Main Class field, enter the fully qualified name of the application class that is to be invoked.
7) Click OK.
8) Launch the executable JAR file from the command line:
java -jar myapp.jar
where myapp represents your JAR file name.
Like I said it's in 5) I'm doing something worng
My deploy-file (PlotPrint.deploy) looks the following:

It's the same problem in all three exceptions (the exactly the same code), however I was a bit to quick this is the line (the line before I process the xml doc :-)

responseData = new Vector();
responseData = test_NNE35_SOAP.getXSDdoc();
Element elements = ( (org.w3c.dom.Element)responseData.elementAt(0) ); (line 42)
Please help I don't understad why I receive this exception, since I included the xmlparserv2.jar file, and don't even have a workaround :-( -
Error in deploying an OLAP cube with OWB ---- Oracle ACE's , please help me
I am using OWB 10.2 for building a BI application . All goes well until I tried to deploy an OLAP relational cube . When I cofigure an OLAP cube -deplyoment options- with 'deploy all' value ie OWB genarete un pl/sql script with cmw2 procedures , Control Center Manager can't deploy my cube and give me this log:
ORA-06510 : PL/SQL unhandled user-defined exception
ORA-06512 : at OLAPSYS.CMW2_OLAP_UTILITY , line 1660
ORA-01403 : no data found

ORA-06512 : at "OLAPSYS.CMW2_OLAP_CUBE, line 386
ORA-06512 : at line 5
What do you think is wrong?
TIARagnar is quite correct. When you design a cube there is an associated table generated and FK constraints are created that link back to the related dimension objects and their associated tables. The OLAP dimensions and cubes are just pieces of metadata and don't actually exist as first class objects in their own right. Most importantly don't confuse OLAP dimensions with relational dimensions that are created to support query re-write.
In Control Center if you check the Table node in your tree you should see a list of tables that are the relational source objects for your dimensions and cubes. Deploy the dimension tables first, then deploy the dimensions using the "Deploy All" option. Lastly depoly your table followed by the cube.
In Control Center it is possible to force OWB to deploy all related objects. I think it is on one of the menu options within Design Center. I will see if I can find the exact details when I next have OWB open.
Hope this helps

You can check if the session has a descriptor for the class by calling,
session.getDescriptor(Class.forName("t3.model.NibuSalaryWorksheets"));
It is most likely that the class is on the classpath twice.
Instead of loading the sessions.xml with the thread class loader you could try using the classes class loader.
i.e.
DatabaseSession session = (DatabaseSession)sessionManager.getSession(xmlLoader, "default", t3.model.NibuSalaryWorksheets.class.getClassLoader()); -

ThanksI found an IBM Technote that described a fix that worked for me. Remove the jar that contains your OracleXML classes (i.e. xmlparserv2.jar).
Place it here instead:
${JBOSS_HOME}/server/${jboss.server.configuration}/lib
That worked for me. Good luck. -
Regarding deploy EAR on weblogc server 10.3.5 version problem
Hi,
I am using JDeveloper Studio 11.1.1.2.0 and weblogic server 10.3.2 and windows 32 bit machine.I have created EAR on 32 bit machine and Deploy on 64 bit machine,EAR is working not an issue in an Application
but when i am using weblogic server 10.3.5 and deploy 32bit EAR then my application is not working.
So please help me.
Thanks
AnupIf you want to run your app on a WLS10.3.5 (32 bit or 64 bit) you have to build it using Jdev 11.1.1.5.0 or 11.1.1.6.0 depending on the ADF runtime you installed on the WLS 10.3.5.
A JDev 11.1.12.0 application can't run on a wls 10.3.5 as you can't install the adf runtime 11.1.1.2.0 on this server. Check http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/09/14/jdeveloper-versions-vs-weblogic-server-versions/ for more info on hte different jdev versions which can run on hte different wls versions.

Hi team, please help me how to deploy creative cloud desktop application through SCCM for an enterprise

Please help me about jdeveloper application deployment for weblogic
At the beginning I just thought after developing an adf application then just deploy it as a .ear file and deploy it in the weblogic console and everything will be ok.But in fact I got a lot of problems. Then I got a tutorial for that and I do what it said step by step but some new problems occured. This is the tutorial I mentioned: [How-To: ADF Deployment Guide|http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jdeveloper/howto/11114/managedserver/wlsadfms.htm]
Now could somebody tell how did you deploy your adf application?
Here is the errors I got.
This is the install packege and the OS I use:
1. CentOS 6.3_x64 + jdeveloper11123.jar(include wls10.3.5) + adr(package name is ofm_appdev_generic_11.1.1.6.0_disk1_1of1.zip)[and just now I used a solaris11 vm from oracle and install jdeveloper11.1.2.3, the same probem occured as in CentOS.]
2. Win7_x64 + jdeveoper11123.exe(include wls10.3.5) + adr mentioned above
Here is the problems I get:
in the case 1,after I install the jdeveloper(using sun jdk 1.7), the weblogic seems to be well though I didn't configure a domain. But after I open an
application(which I get from the oracle jdeveloper tutorial demo, which works well in my Win7 env) and I run it, the integrated weblogic can't get
started. Firstly in the console it said the -jrocket identifier is not recognized, then I modify the setDomainEnv.sh and the startWebLogic.sh file in the
integrated wls domain (the one in the .jdeveloper directer) to set the JAVA_VM variable to -server.After that another problem came out: when the
wls goes to status "starting",it is blocked and I turn to the system monitor it shows that a java thread using more than 1GB of memory of my system
and occupy 150% of my cpu(it's a double-core computer). I wait for about 5 minutes when a error came said "PermSize is too small".then I modify the
setDomainEnv.sh file again to set the PermSize to be 1024m and MaxPermSize to be 2048.(the variable name is something like that, maybe not the
exactly right. I think you can understand which one it is.) But the problem is still there.
then in the case 2.Firstly the jdev and the integrated wls works well, but when i deploy an application which works well to a ear file and deploy it to a
standalone wls(10.3.5) it never works.the error is something referrence/dependences libraries is not found. Then I tried to new a server connection to
the standalone wls and I got the tutorial [how_to_deploy_adf|http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/jdeveloper/howto/11114/managedserver/wlsadfms.html] , as the tutorial said I patch my standalone
wls with the adr and everything goes ok, no error reported. Then I tried the new server in the new machine under the manage of the adminserver and apply the
adf template in the localhost:port/em console. But after I restart the new server(by the console and then by the stop+startweblogic.bat file) the server is running
while the application in the new server is just "Unavailable". I tried this for three times in three computer, two of them are running win7,the other one is running winxp.
I don't know what is wrong and I am totally a newbie about this. Somebody please help me.Thanks a lot!
regard,Neo.Neo,
there are a couple of problems. First of all, jdev comes with it'S own jdk bundled in the product (jdk 1.6_x). Next thing is if you use JDev 11.1.2.3.0 to build an application you must use a wls 10.3.5 or 10.3.6 where you need to install the correct runtime onto. In your case you first install adf runtime 11.1.1.6.0 and then you need to install two patches which update the adf runtime to 11.1.2.3.0. These spathes are only available via support.oracle.com, meaning you need asupport contract to get them.
More information you can find in my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/09/14/jdeveloper-versions-vs-weblogic-server-versions/
The rest of your problems go away once you have installed the right adf runtime on your server.

Hi,
I have downloaded the example 'banking.zip' and have installed it.
I have followed all given steps in the tutorial, but I am unable to
see the login page.
I am also not able to see the ejb and web application descriptor file
from the admin console.
I have copied the banking directory to

There are 3 directories under it

contains the descriptor .xml files)
(2) web (containing web-inf and html, jsp and image files. Web-inf
contains weblogic.xml and web.xml)
(3) Meta-Inf (containing the application.xml)
I get the 'Error 404--Not Found' error when I go to
http://localhost:8001/banking/login.html. (my server is running on

SonaliHi,
I was able to successfully deploy after installing
weblogic 6.1 SP2 (earlier I had SP1). Also, I had to make
changes in the BankAppServlet code since it tries to find the
bean with a different name than one specified in jndi-name.
- Thanks,
Sonali

MikeHi Gaurav,
Other applications used the same the datasource, which I used for this application,
are running fine.
I think there is some bug in the wlserver 6.1 to create the join table. I think
it is the time I should ask the bea wlserver 6.1.

Urgent:Please Help. Need to deploy web application with servlet:(
Tomcat 4.0 is already installed.
Trying to deploy a web application and invoke a servlet through it.
Here is the command I am using for deploying the application:
http://localhost:8080/manager/install?path=/NewApplication&war=file:d:\Tomcat4\webapps\NewApplication
The application get deployed. However, I have a problem. As soon I stop and restart the server, this application is gone.
1. Please someone help: How should I make it permanent so that the application stays even if I restart the server.
2. I am not able to access the servlets placed in the /WEB-INF/classes/ sub-directory under NewApplication directory.
If you need I can cut and paste the web.xml file which will show the deployment descriptor.
Please help: How do I make this work. I need it urgent.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Indrasish. The simplest solution would be to put the war file inside the webapps directory and restart the server. You should be able to access the app using the http://servername/app
