Derby travel db not working

Hi forum, I have a problem with the Derby server that comes with the sjsas 9, the server runs ok from the menu start->programs->Sun Microsystems->Application Server PE 9->Start JavaDB, but when I try to get a connection from NetBeans 5.5 Runtime,Databases,jdbc:derby://localhost:1527/travel, I get a message window with the text:
The application server rejected establishment of the connection. An attempt was made to access a database, travel, which was not found.
Can the root of problem be that I had the glassfish installed before the install of sjsas 9, and then I remove the first )deleting the folder of glassfish)? Or maybe it can be because I installed a sjsas 8 after the installation of sjsas 9 and don�t remove the last?

derby databases will be created in derby's home dir.
Every GF installation will have derby bundled.
For eg. If you have created your database with GF-first-installation, and now you have started database of GF-second-installation, "travel" will be looked at GF-second-installation's derby install dir.
Insteady, if you can find where the dir "travel" [typically in GF_INSTALL/databases], when you start the database using "asadmin start-database" provide --dbhome option with the path of "travel" database.

or change the netbeans derby connection url to point absolute path of database
eg:
jdbc:derby:ABSOL_PATH/travel;

Travel manager not working properly..

When I run TRIP, "create travel request" and all other strings, i can't access. means there is no reaction, no request created or any functions. can you please guide me from where to rectify the error?

I need to open iPhone that was wiped with Notes Traveler, appID not working

I have a phone (iphone5C) that I´ve sent a command "Wipe Device" using Notes traveler on Noted Domino 9.0.1. The phone is in locked state and unable to use the appID that was used to set the phone up. Think that there must be somekind of an software error in "Find my Iphone" or the cloud connect.
The phone asks for an appID s******@s*****.is and that is the correct appID. But when I log in , the phone says that the phone can not be unlocked using this email address.

That's not how an iPhone should have been wiped. I have no idea what Notes traveler is but perhaps you should contact the developer since it was their software used to send the command.

Do you have a small test case program that demonstrates this? A JDeveloper project showing what exactly is the problem when trying to use the BDB SQL JDBC driver to insert data into the BDB SQL database? What do you mean by "not working", do you get any errors, you do not get errors but you do not see the data in the database etc?
What are the versions of Java, JDeveloper, ADF and BDB SQL you are using, and on what OS?

I'm so sorry your having issues. Unfortunately there isn't an email for global support. The only way way to reach them while traveling is to call them at 908-559-4899.

Wifi email not working when travelling internationally?

On a recent trip to Canada (Dec 2014 - after update to 8.1.2), my email client did not work on either my iPhone or iPad when on WiFi. These were the same WiFi connections (family visits) that had previously worked in the summer but now email was not able to be received or sent. Internet and web-base email was fine but the IOS client did not send or receive. Is this a result of the 8.1.2 update? Not sure what other explanation is likely - there were multiple ISPs and WiFi networks involved. I tried multiple re-boots, removing and re-adding the accounts etc. but nothing worked until I drive back across the border into US cell coverage. After that, it is difficult to know whether email is being processed on WiFi or cellular when both are available - perhaps it is never using WiFi...

Having the same issue - also with a Bell phone (my boss'). He gets angry because when he arrives home or at the office he's getting a bunch of email. Now his bbm and his text are also only coming in on wifi. He has turned his wifi off in disgust.

Within JDeveloper the generation of entities (Persistent POJOs) from tables will overwrite exiting classes. If you have additional tables you wish to map without losing existing work you will need to create the new classes and map them manually. If you are using the native TopLink mappings there is auto-map support on individual descriptors in the structure pane to automate much of this. If you are using JPA mappings it is a bit more manual at present but the tooling is ntended to give you feedback on problems as you construct and configure your mappings.

I travel between CA and India. When I am in india, I put in GSM chip in India and it works. When i came back -- I removed the chip and sprint phone is working -- except that voice mail and visual voicemail are not working. in fact, when people call my phone it says that the number is not in service.

Safari 8 hover does not work over google map location pins

OS X 10.10.1, Safari 8, Java 8-25
I have always had little odd things not work when using safari on a large % of websites I visit, the latest issues are
no response when hovering over google map location pins, travel site calendars not opening or responding to mouse, drag and drop
show the item being dragged several inches away from the actual pointer, some links don't respond, missing items
or odd layout with print or pop ups going off the screen on some website pages, zooming in and out does not help. I have none
of these issues when using Firefox or Chrome. Been using Safari for 4 years now.

Have you tried a PRAM and an SMC reset? They're longshots, but don't take long to try.

Have you run Apple Diagnostics from the disc(s) that shipped with the computer?
Since the problem occurs in all browsers, it still sounds like a video hardware or video RAM or maybe a software issue having to do with layers and rendering.
The map layers aren't getting rendered, or if rendered, aren't getting displayed.
Do you have any browser add-ins? Pop-up blockers?
Since you have two video chipsets, it's possible that might be related to the issue.
This non-Apple website talks about switching between chipsets on the various MacBook models so equipped, and points to a free 'donationware' program for the menubar that lets you easily switch between chipsets:

Trying to think of other software that might help pinpoint the problem, does the iPhoto Slideshow 'Shatter' template work? Working properly, it 'shatters' images into several color layers and rotates them in and out to build and deconstruct photos.

Function module PTRA_WEB_EXPENSE_REPORT_GET_2 not working when used in loop

Hi All,
I have used a function module PTRA_WEB_EXPENSE_REPORT_GET_2 in a custom fumction module which i am developing fetch the travel expense data . The function module PTRA_WEB_EXPENSE_REPORT_GET_2 returns the travel expense data based on the employee and the trip number. I want to fetch the travel expense data for a given set of employees and trip number and hence i have used this function module inside a loop statement.
The function module returns the travel expense data for the employee and trip in the first loop pass. From the second loop passs it doesn't return the value. I have also checked this in se37 and the same thing happens. Value is returned for the fist employee but for the next employee we have to go to initial screen of se37 and execute the Func. module again.
I debugged this function module and found that the value of the employee and the trip number is stored in the global variable. The value passed for the employee and trip is compared with the correspomding value in the global variable and if they are not same an error message is returned. Since we are using in a loop , each time a different value is passed for the employee and trip and the check fails .
Is there any way to clear the value in the global parameters or is there any other function module which can be used to clear the values of the global variables?

1) can you try calling function module BUFFER_REFRESH_ALL ??
after each call...
2) May be u can call Function module "PTRA_WEB_EXPENSE_REPORT_GET_2 " in background task or seperate task , it will load the function group everytime when u call it in loop.

Problems with re-grouping - subtotals and pagebreaks do not work

I'm trying to create a report with all of my grouping in the template as opposed to the data definition. I've copied a simplified version of my code and xml below.
I'm having two issues:
1. The pagebreaks are not working. For every change in pagebreak_seg, second_seg, or third_seg there should be a pagebreak.
2. The subtotalling isn't working. At each grouping level, I'm using sum(current-group()/...) to capture a subtotal at the new level. It worked the first 3 times (for Account_seg, Cat3 and Third_Seg, but stopped working at Second_seg. The second_seg keeps appearing after each Third Seg and has the same values rather than appearing at the end of the final Third Seg that falls within the Second_seg. Is there a limit to how many times I can do this, or have I got an error in here somewhere.
I can email the xml and the template if that would be more helpful.

Additional info on the grouping problem:
I tried removing the third_seg group and the second_seg group started working properly. I then deleted the second_seg group and the pagebreak_seg started working. So as long as I have only one level of grouping below cat3 the output is correct. Unfortunately I need those additional levels, so if anyone has any suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
Alternately if someone knows of a sample with mutliple levels of grouping, I would appreciate a link. There was a link on the the BI Blog but it doesn't work any longer.
