Desktop Outlook not sending from alternative email
I'm using Outlook.com. I have used Add a send-and-receive account (POP account) and added my own email address ([email protected]) and I am now able to receive all my emails to the outlook account and also I am able to send emails from the outlook account
as my private email address ([email protected]).
I added this outlook account to the desktop Outlook. It synced and showed me all my folders and I'm still perfectly receiving all emails, the problem is with sending the emails. Using the desktop app I can only send emails from the outlook domain ([email protected])
and it doesn't give me the option to send through my own domain like I can from the website.
What did I do wrong and What should I do to be able to send and receive from my own domain name, yet use Outlook's servers?

You didn't do anything wrong but it's not possible to send as your private email address if you don't add it to Outlook, I'll try to explain.
The "send-and-receive account" feature in Outlook.com works through the 3rd-party's POP protocol, which means Outlook.com still sends/receives emails through the outgoing/incoming mail server of your private email address's
email provider, not through Outlook.com's server.
When setting up the Outlook.com account in Outlook, Outlook only looks for the information needed from the Outlook.com, it doesn't seek for anything from your private email address, since the "send-and-receive account" is an Outlook.com feature,
Outlook doesn't know about it.
As for receiving emails, Outlook.com has received the emails via the POP protocol and stored these emails on its own server, Outlook just synchronizes the emails to local, not directly from the POP server. This just explains why you can't send
emails but can receive emails from your private email address in Outlook.
In short, in your scenario if you want to send as your private email address, you will need to add it to Outlook.

I have several emails set up in Mail. Everything has been working great until a couple days ago. I haven't changed anything, made any updates, or added any new accounts.
Let's call the two accounts A and B. My main account is A. When I am sending an email, A is my default. It is designated as such. When I send an email from account A, I double check in each email. It shows it is coming from that default account. However, my recipient is receiving the email from account B. I only know this because when they reply, their response shows up in account B's inbox. The weird thing? My sent email folder shows as being sent from the correct account-- account A.
I have re-installed the accounts, double-checked everything. The problem still exists.
This is the weirdest issue. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanks so much for the help.Probably because it is using the server of account B to send from. When it goes through B's server, the server changes the sent address to that of B's email address. Either you have the wrong outgoing server set up for account A or there is a problem with it and it's switching to account B's server.
Open account preferences and highlight account A. Look at the SMTP server list and see which it shows. Select the correct one and check the box to use only that server for that account. If it fails in the future, you will get an alert that it failed and the option to choose another outgoing server.
Make sure all information for that server is correct and that it has the correct user name and password. Once you get that working, do the same for account B and make sure it has the correct outgoing server and check the box for that one also. -
Email not Sending from Nokia Email (E7) - anyone e...
On precisely 1st April my Nokia e7 (on 3 (UK)) stopped sending email. I've tried configuration using both smtp2go.com (a general smtp commercial gateway with wide access) and with my ISP "traveller" SMTP configuration. None of it works.
There isn't a connectivity problem with the ISP as the email is downloading fine - but it won't send.
Is anbody else experiencing the same problem because I think it's an issue with Nokia's own servers rather than the mobile network I'm on?Have you tried this smtp setting: smtp.three.co.uk ?

What message do you have?
Do your outgoing SMTP servers are online or offline (Mail > Preferences > Accounts > select account and check under Outgoing Mail Server) -
Why does my imessage keep sending from my email and not my phone number

The e-mail addresses will not be memorized in Adobe send but will be saved in sent items.
You can use Adobe send outlook plugin to access your email contact list and send.

Why is the printed font so small on a print job I send from my email to my new HP Photosmart C510? I sent it via HP ePrint from a lotus notes based email account. It was just a text message but it was so small on the print out I could not begin to read it.

MattAt the document you plan to print, go to "file" in upper right corner. Select "print preview". Atop that window, select font size. Recommended minimum 60%. May need to adjust with different documents.

What specifically happens when you try to send Mail?
Are you able to receive mail from all of the accounts? any of the accounts?
Are all the email accounts with the same provider?

I have an article for you that can help you address this issue:
I cannot sign in to the iCloud Preferences pane on my Mac due to an alert stating that my email address has not been verified.
If you cannot sign in due to an alert stating "Account not verified - Check your email for instructions for verifying your account":
Close and reopen the iCloud Preferences pane before logging in again.
If that does not resolve the issue, check your email folder and Junk folder for a verification email sent from Apple.
If there is no verification email in your email folder or Junk folder, click the Resend Verification Email button on the iCloud Preferences pane.

How to send from alternate email address?
Along with my regular email address, I have a business email address that is forwarded to my regular account.
In Eudora, I used to be able to set up a new "Personality" that would allow me to send email using the business address, and have that show up in the "reply-to" field as well.
How can I do this in Mail ?go to mail>preferences>accounts, select your email account, then in the email address field just below the description field, enter all the email addresses you would like to use as an alias, separated by a comma, then save. You will then be able to send from this email account with all the email addresses you keyed in.
Alternatively, you could set up a home email account and a business email account in Leopard Mail, and then have the ability to send/receive/view from one account to another

emails will not send from @protranscript.net domain addresses, even though they receive just fine. The program keeps saying that the server says there is no such user, even when I try and email myself!
"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <[email protected]> No such user here. Please check the message recipient [email protected] and try again." I know for a fact that email exists because it is the one your reply came to, lol.

After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to start a new conversation from a phone number and not an email address. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
The greyed out phone number is under how you can be reached.
When you start a conversation is another option you can change.

The telephone number will be dimmed when you view these settings on an iPhone.

If you aren't receiving the reset info to your rescue email address (how long ago did you request it, and have you checked the spam folder as well as the inbox ?) then you could try clicking it again and giving it an hour or two to see if it then arrives. If it doesn't then you can try contacting iTunes Support or Apple
