  • Accessing SAP Transaction screen from other application

    Hi Friends
We have a requirement where we want to access a transaction screen from some other application.
Is there any standard BAPI for doing this (R3 or CRM) ?
    Kindly help ....
    Best Regards

    Hello Pankaj,
In CRM you can use Function Module TRANSACTION_CALL_VIA_RFC to open a transcation screen in another system. This FM takes RFC Target System and TCode as inputs and opens the transaction in the specified system (provided Logical System Name & RFC Connection has been properly made)
If it is IC Web Client, you can use transaction Launcher to do the same, follow the blog created by Raja G for the same.
The link to which I am providing underneath:

  • Access SAP database table from different SAP server

    Hi,
May i know is that possible to access the SAP database table from server A to server B without write a program on server A? Is it possible for direct access the SAP database table.
    Best regards,
    Gan

    Hello,
you could use the RFC-Modules RFC_READ_TABLE or RFC_GET_TABLE_ENTRIES on server A.
    Precondition: you need a RFC-Destination from B to A.
And a little drawback: you get only the first 512 byte of each table entry.

  • Accessing SAP Transaction Screen from 3rd party Application

    Hi friends
We have a requirement where we want to access a transaction screen in SAP from a 3rd party application.
Can anybody guide us, as to how can this be done through ITS, if at all its possible??
    Kindly guide...
    Thanks in Advance

what sort of 3rd party application, you wanted to show the sap gui screenin the 3rd party application?
if its a web application, then you can just embedd the sap gui screen using frame/iframe with its url for that transaction.
if its a windows based desktop application, you can use sapgui scripting to do the same.

  • Accessing Oracle LDAP Service from Microsoft SQL*Server2000

    Hi
We are trying to link onto the Oracle LDAP service from a stored procedure in an SQL*Server 2000 database. But we are not able to succeed.
Anyone who can share some experience with us on the topic? Is it at all possible to do what we are trying to do? Must we install some driver software (or the like) at the SQL*Server side? Or do we have to write a Java application instead that uses JNDI to access OID and then connect to the SQL*Server?
    Any help is appreciated.

  • Removal of tcode from role

    Hi Experts,
I need to remove tcode from role menu, my requirement is as below
I need to go in a role, search tcode in role menu and if tcode is present in role n times then remove that tcode.
For example tcode SU01 is present in role menu 5 times then I need to remove all these 5 occurenses.
As of now I have developed script using SECATT to remove tcode from role but it is static one,  means I already know that tcode is present 3 times then script will search tcode three times and delete and generate profile and come out.
I want this functionality to be dynamic, i.e. I need to enter tcode only once in data input and then script should remove all occurence of that tcode from role.
Looking forward for expert advice and comments, please let me know if my requirement is not clear.
    Thanks,
    Ashish Mistry

    Hello,
    1. Check the data base by writing ABAP Query.
    2. Get the length of the received data eg. number of record is present in the data base for your Query.
    3. Now you know exact number of T-Code so you can delete them.

  • SAP Workflow integrated with Microsoft Outlook

    Hello All,
I have the following question. When an work item comes in the SBWP inbox, as soon as the work item is executed by the user
the workitem disappears from the SBWP. Now my question is if SAP Workflow is integrated with Microsoft Outlook (so that email containing the work item as a link reaches Outlook), is there a way to make the email disappear from the Outlook as soon as the SAP work item is completed.
Can someone throw some light on the same.
    Thanks,
    Sachin

    Hi,
Duet workflow scenario is available. SAP Application sends workitem to Duet Server and Outlook client has Duet add-in. You need Duet Server and user license.
Also SAP MAPI Service Provider is available. You can access SAP Inbox items from your outlook client. I think SAP MAPI Service provider is free.
