Development issues relating to Multiple control centres

We currently have 1 Design repository setup and multiple configurations / control centres registered in it. Our Design repository sits on a separate database called OWB_REPOS_DB on a UNIX_SERVER1.
We then have 2 control centres - 1 for Development target database and 1 for System test.
Right now, we are still in Development phase and we have only 1 branch/version of code that relates to all the environments. We deploy code from the same design repository to different control centres (runtime environments). The only issue we have right now is when 1 developer wants to deploy code to the Development database EDW_DEV and another developer wants to deploy code to System test database EDW_SYSTEST. We need to change the module's location everytime you switch from 1 configuration to another and this heavily restricts the development. We all have to wait for someone else to finish.
Is there a way around this? I have always worked with multiple repositories and I don't know how to get the team to work parallely with the current setup. Any suggestions or ideas please?

Frankly, I have too many issues with the deployment system with OWB to rely on multiple deployment repositories from a single code location.
For a simple case in point, who is in charge of un-deploying an object that is to be dropped to each and every possible location that it might have been deployed?
I need my test location to reflect what a clean install would look like. Period. I cannot test if I cannot guarantee that all objects are up to date, and only the objects that would be deployed under a clean build are there.
So I develop against a dev environment, and I have OMB Plus scripts to deploy a project or a module to go and do the installation and deployment to all other verticals. These scripts will first go through and completely un-deploy the currently installed version of that module if it is there, and then install and deploy the new version.
Nothing less than this is acceptable for valid integration testing as far as I am concerned, plus by making this a scripted install it fits into our entire database release script system to be run by the DBA - thus we have guaranteed repeatable releases being tested prior to deployment.
Anyway, that's my two cents on the issue.

HT4437 Control Centre issues

I dont get the full control centre when I swipe up on my iPad 2, only a mini version of the control centre (slides up to a quarter of the screen only) with basic functions and there is no icon for airplay in what is displayed. I have completed a full software update. Pls help.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
    1.    Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
    2.    Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
    3.    Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
    4.    Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
    5.    Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
    6.    Restart your mobile device.

COPA Assessment Cycle using KEU5 for multiple controlling areas

Hello All,
There is an organization with operations in several countries. There is a separate controlling area for each country. There is one controlling area, for instance, for Germany and another for Netherlands.
A problem is encountered while executing transaction KEU5 for multiple controlling areas in parallel. For instance, when one user from Germany executes KEU5 for an assessment cycle for Germany controlling area and at the same time another user from Netherlands tries to execute KEU5 for a cycle for NL controlling area, the user from Netherlands encounters an error message u201C'Cycle XXXX 01.02.2008 cannot be started because run group 0000 is locked'.
Apparently SAP allows assessment cycles for exactly one controlling area to be executed together. This poses a problem since the organization plans to implement SAP in several other countries (There will be one separate controlling area for each country as per the organization structure adopted by the company).
Any ideas, views or suggestions on the aforesaid issue would be highly appreciated.

Did you find any text in SAP Documentation saying that "SAP does not allow cycles belonging to different controlling areas to be executed at the same time"...?

Parallel Processing of Cycles of an Allocation Type
Use
Parallel processing of cycles results in considerable time savings. To process cycles of one allocation type in parallel, they must be assigned to different cycle run groups.
You define the cycle run groups in the cycle header data. You also assign cycles to the cycle run groups in the header data.
To process the cycles of a cycle run group in parallel, start the cycles one after the other, if required, in different sessions.
You are carrying out a cross-company code cost accounting and want to perform the actual assessment in the individual company codes in parallel. Create a cycle run group for each company code and assign the appropriate cycles to these groups. You can then carry out the actual assessment in the individual company codes in parallel.
When you execute a cycle, you can start a consistency check. The system checks whether you are allowed to execute the selected cycles in parallel.
Though I didn't come across such requirement, I feel, my earlier suggestion will work out...

Disappointed with iOS 7 control centre

I like everyone else was expecting a lot out of iOS 7. Definitely apple lived up with half of my expectation by adding new designs, new icons etc etc. but one thing that really got me disheartened was the control centre. I mean its cool that they added some toggles and shortcuts, but theres so much more that could have been done. Data toggle, 3g toggle, location toggle, hotspot toggle they are essential for almost all of us. Its really tedious to go back to the entire settings procedure every time we need to turn them on or off. These options are already present in other platforms since ages. And apple omitted them despite of having the space and opportunity to add them. And another vital omission was the Facebook and Twitter quick post widget. It was a really helpful part of the iOS 6. & i feel it should have been placed in the control centre. So i hope apple reads my post and takes these things into consideration for future development of iOS.

Issue related to the Credit memo and S.O.

I have one issue related to the Credit memo and S.O.
We have a network of Dealers and Dealer inventory is linked with our system. When user creates S.O for Dealer1.If the item is not avail in our inventory and it is avail in any other Dealer inventory (Dealer2), then the system creates S.O wrt the Dealer2.
In this case as the material is directly delivered from Dealer1 to Dealer2, there is no any GI in our system.
So, the transaction with Dealer1 will be the normal as usual. But, we have to return the goods amount to the Dealer2 with any suitable way. We are considering it as a Credit memo.
My question is, as we have created S.O wrt the partner function- Dealer1 and we are creating CR memo for Delaer2, is there any way through which we can link the se two transactions with customizing so that we need not to make any ABAP programming.
I mean can we create Cr memo wrt S.O when the partner functions are different?
Pl. guide me.

You have an interesting Scenario.
You can handle this scenario in multiple ways
1. Third party Scenario (Here Dealer 1 becomes Vendor &Dealer 2 remains Customer)
2. Order related sales & credit memo.
3. Intercompany sales, where you represent dealers place as a plant in your system. (Not an ideal way to handle the scenario, but possible option)

Performance issues -- related to printing

Hi All,
I am haviing production system performance issues related to printing. endusers are telling the printing is slow for almost printers. We are having more that 40 to 50 printers in landscape.
As per my primary investigation I didnt find any issues in TSP01 & TSP02 tables. But I can see the table TST01 and TST03 table having many number of entries (more that lakh). I dont have idead about this table. Is ther eany thing related to this table where the print causes slowness or any other factors also makes this printing issue .. Please advice ..

TemSe cannot administer objects that require more than two gigabytes of storage space, regardless of whether the objects are stored in the database or in the file system. Spool requests of a size greater than two gigabytes must therefore be split into several smaller requests.
It is enough if you perform the regular background jobs and Temse consistency checks for the tables.
This will help in controlling the capacity problems.
If you change the profile parameter rspo/store_location parameter value to 'G' this will make the performance better. The disadvantages are TemSe data must be backed up and restored separately from the database using operating system tools, In the event of problems, it can be difficult to restore consistency between the data held in files and the TemSeu2019s object management in the database. Also you have take care of the Hard disk requirements because in some cases, spool data may occupy several hundred megabytes of disk storage. If you use the G option, you must ensure that enough free disk space is available for spool data.

I have a query related to multiple attachments in receiver mail adapter.
I have successfully configured mail related scenarios but now I have another requirement in which I have multiple source files in one directory and I want to send one mail for multiple files as mail attachment using receiver mail adapter. Can anybody help me how to achieve multiple attachments in reciever mail adapter.
To clarify the requirement more let us take an example
Ex: I have 5 input files in the source which I pick up using additional files option in the sender file adapter, now I want to send those 5 files into one mail with 5 attachments. Can anybody explain how 5 different payload will be sent as multiple attachments in one mail.
For your information I used, options like "keep attachments" , some parameters in module processesors etcs...but not able to find out as how exactly it will be achieved.......I dont want to use BPM collect pattern for this.....
Need your help on this issue. Please suggest the solution as how it can be achieved using receiver mail adapter.

Issues related to Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio (PCI Express 1)

Hi, I've recently bought a SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio (PCI Express edition).
Before I address my issue, I'd like to point out that my rig is:
Maximus Extreme (mobo)?
Q6600 (cpu)
ATI4870 (vid card)
4Gigs of DDR3 (ram)
and my OS is Vista Home Edition (32 bit precision)?
And so after physically installing the hardware, I quickly installed everything there was on the CD- this included the drivers available on the CD. After this installation, I restarted then found most recent updates via online sources (creative.com). But even after all of this, I wasn't able to get my microphone to work. Now from my understanding, the jack is shared between Line-In and Microphone and I'm supposed to configure this setting. And so I tried to do that, but my only problem was that I was unable to use any of the available features. After researching for a few hours I found out that I, appearently have to uninstall everything that I had installed and then reinstall everything from online sources (from creative.com-- latest drivers for vista 32 bit). But even then, I still can't use my mic or configure the settings so that I could use microphone instead of Line-In.
Now going back to my actual question, how do I configure the settings so that I could use Microphone instead of Line-In?

Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio edition, Windows 7 64bit.
I downloaded the latest driver from the Creative site, installed it, update with the update manager and then i installed the console.
Issue number : I DONT have your same console. I dont have a "Mode" button, im stuck in Entertainment Mode. I cant control almost nothing and i dont have all the options u have.
Issue number 2: My mic isnt working good. It's VERY low on volume, i cant be heard without the +20db boost (the only boost option i have, i cant boost more) and even with that acti've that's not that loud.
It is still working good with my onboard realtek soundcard. I cant understand what's the problem and how to solve it.

I can't open the control centre with a Griffin Survivor Case on my iPhone 5.

The title says it all really. The plastic of the case ends really close to the screen and there is an inbuilt screen protector. This means I can't register touch on the bottom edge of the screen, which is apparently where you have to swipe to open the control centre. I have no problems opening the notifications, swiping down from the top.
Does anyone alse have this problem, which the same or different cases? I know there are similar issues with Otterbox cases too.
I hope Apple will notice the problem and make a fix soon. It should be simple enough - just move the swipe spot up a little like the one at the top of the screen.

I have the OtterBox Armor case which has a similar design and thus problem. After much practice I can now open CC with about 3 or 4 attempts. Much better than when I started and thought it just couldn't be done. I really have to start at the exact middle of the bottom of where the screen meets the case.

OM - Multiple Cost Centres link with Org Unit/Position not to employee

Hello gurus,
In OM there can only be one relationship at a time between an organizational unit and cost centre (A011). For those areas where there is a requirement for the position to have control over more than one cost centre, there are multiple options.
Option 1 - If only one of the cost centres is used for employee cost incurrence, this should be the main cost centre, and the others controlled through authorizations.
Option 2 - If more than one cost centre is used for employee cost incurrence, a subordinate organizational unit is created into which those positions are placed. In this scenario, the subordinate organizational units would not have a chief, and the reporting structure would go up to the more senior organizational units.
Option 3 - Use Cost centre distribution infotype 1018 (A014)
My question: is there a standard way through which we can show multiple cost centres attached to a position/org unit such that cost incurred by employees goes to master cost centre attached to org unit or positon and other cost centres are just attached to position/orgunit (just to show the org unit/position is managing these other cost centres as well).
Any thoughts? Anybody has used Enterprise Organization in CO to achieve this?

To capture more than 1 cost center, you have to specify them in IT-1018 but employee's cost will be split based on this.
For data maintanance alone cost distribution is not possible (based on my knowledge).
May be equivalent custom infotype similar to 1018 @ Postiion / Org Unit level may work.
along with Master Cost center.

Issue related to CTS+ Transports

Hello,
We have completed CTS+ configuration on PI (EHP1 SAP Netweaver 7.0) following SAP CTS+ How-To-Guide.PI Development is Domain controller and all paths and parameters in SAP Exchange profile are maintained.
Transport request is successfully created from PI with no errors. Also If we create empty Non ABAP transport u2013 with no object included it works fine.
Now we are facing some issue related to release of Non ABAP transports (transport remains in status u201CRelease Startedu201D for hours and no process/file update at OS) and no export file is created in path maintained.
For release started status issue we were able to change the status of same to modifiable after 32 hours from release started status to sort this issue.
But we are unable to release transports successfully with these non-ABAP objects.

Can Anybody tell me the Diffrence B/N Recording and Program.
only v_line_item is added extra in program to find out specific line item and select that line item that is working Correctly.
Issue#1
The issues in above come in first Initial Screen[100] Where i need to Remove Check for 'RV52G-SELKZ' that is first thing that is not happening.
Next it woking correctly for 500 Screen [By Selecting Correct line item and then Details for it].
Issue#2
Then it is going to Screen 502 where first it need to clear all the enabled field i passed space to them. but still it is showing values in all fields. After Clearing i should Re-Add 2 fields among Those fields.
Then other things will happen.
Can anybody tell me what is reason in program code is not working - I had tried in all 'A/E/N' Modes but it's not working!
If anybody knows reason please help me out.
One More thing i had tried by making PARAMETER ID'S of few fields BLANK. But by this way also it is not working.
 SET PARAMETER ID 'ALN' FIELD v_space.
SET PARAMETER ID 'EMB' FIELD v_space.
SET PARAMETER ID 'GNR' FIELD v_space.
Can anybody give me the solution.

Hi,
I had tried in Ravi's way also.
I will explain the process once more.
It's a DE-Assign Process - Main purpose is to make the External Licence number blank.
For that process is as follows:
First user will Trigger VX22 transaction,
In the initial screen 100 he will give Sales Order Number[VBELN] then remove Check Box against Blocked Items(Legal Control) Then Press Enter.
It will take user to Change Licen Data [500] Screen.
There from the line items he will select specific line item which is already filled in with ASSIGN process.
He will select check box against that Line item then will hit on Details[F2] from the Tool Bar.
It will take user to 502 screen There he will be deleting all the data in change mode one by one in order of Exp.Ctrl.Class, Grouping, License Number, Change ID Then he will hit on enter then by that Ext.License No which is in display mode - value against that field will get deleted.
Then he will again provide License Number, Change ID and then hit Enter, Enter, Then Back Button then it will take us back to previous screen [500] there he will hit on SAVE button. Then Order will be saved.
ABove is the actual process.
Anybody having the solution for above as BDC is initially not making screen fields blank initially.
how we can do this by SET PARAMETER ID's.

I can't open the control centre or notification centre on my phone unless it is locked. When my iPhone 4s it unlocked I csnt pull up or pull down either. What do I do?
