Hi Vinoth,
Confirmed quantity means the qty which you confirm in Tcode : CO11 / CO11N against a production Order.
Delivered Quantity is the Goods Received qty agains the order. Goods Receipts can be done using of the two methods :
1. Using Tcode : MB31 against a production order
2.  Auto goods receipts by using the Relevant Control Key in the Routing Last operation. i.e While the last operation is confirmed the system does the GR in teh background.
- If you are using the first option mentioned above then they is no relation between Confirmation qty and GR qty unless you use a exit to check the confirmed qty while making GR in Tcode : MB31 OR MIGO.
- If you are using the second option i.e Auto GR control Key then the confirmed qty must be equal to GR (delivered qty) provided there are no goods movemement errors while confirmation saving. If there are any movement failures during confirmation, you can check the same in Tcode : COGI.
In your case you can check the COGI and clear the error , then both the Confirmation and Delivered qtys will match.

So pls suggest the way i can go ahead for this requirement.

    hi,
If u want to allow user to create SO as much as available qty..? means  system sud create SO for order qty is equal to availble qty ...? if yes
then go the availbality check  and find out availability check and checking rule..
and again go to OVZ9 remove the check box check with out RLT from rep.lead time tab
Resul is: If u enter in SO a10 qty ,and if you have only 5 qty in hand or in plant ,then system after checking the items it will change the order qty in SO(i e 5) automatically,

  • Confirmation of the production order qty equal to sales order qty

    Hi Experts,
I need to control the confirmation of the production order should be equal to sales order qty.
I'm having the scenario as follows
If sale order qty for X material = 3
while running the MRP, system will plan the order qty as 8 because of we maintained rounding profile in the Material master and enhancement we used for this.
    Rounding Profile Qty=5
    Total Production Order Qty=8.
But, finally they will do the GRN for sales order qty only, remaining will be used for testing purpose.
So, the confirmation also has to happen for only sales order qty. There, we need to control the qty based on the sales order.
Is there any exit or Enhancement is available for this.
    Please help me.
    Naren

    Hi,
Exit for confirmation check is CONFPP04.
However, opening orders for quantities higher than demand and leaving pieces undelivered and unconfirmed in production orders does not make sense. I could not get the requirement of incresing production quantity by adding rounding value? Moreover, if rounding is to be used for test purposes, why not do you receive them into stock? Why don't you receive 8 pieces into stock, deliver 3 pieces to sales order and transfer 5 pieces to related department?
If it is because of MRP and you really do not want to produce extra 5 piece immediately, you may use material reservation or any other form of demand for 5 pieces, use EX for lot size calculation and have MRP create two planned orders for sales order and testing requirement, then you can convert planned order for sales order requirement into production order and continue processing.

  • New Material Deployment timing and confirming a Customer's  order

I am new here, so I am sorry if this has been answered before.
I searched but could not find the answer
Anyway, we struggle with SAP not allowing an order to be entered before an item is fully deployed.
    My basic question:
Is there anything one can do to allow an order to be entered and confirmed before an item is Fully Deployed?
My company makes items that  are sold as Assemblies.
Each new assembly has multiple components & most time many of the components are new as well.
We give the new item to an Engineer to design and load the material in SAP.
It will take him or her a week to develop the design(s) and maybe a hour or so to enter the material(s) in SAP.
SAP data is not the constraint,  it just takes time to develop the Design of the product using Engineering tools like Pro-E, UG etc.
Once Engineering is complete, we create multiple deployment requests for the new items that go to mulitiple areas
Each area needs to add data and complete tasks in the Deployment Workflows.
Example are Purchasing, packaging, operations, quality, costing etc.
This can take weeks to complete, meanwhile we are unable to accept and confirm the Customer's  orders in SAP.
    This upsets our customers.
We have already quoted a price and a lead time outside of SAP, and the project plan takes all this into consideration, but we can not accept or confirm the order in SAP until the full SAP deployment is complete. How do others  addressed this?
I have asked this same question of many consultants and users and have always been told just deploy your product faster.

  • How to confirm the CO Production Order?

    Hi,all
The PP Production Order can confirm by TCode CO15.
Then how to confirm the CO Production Order(Created by KKF1)?

    Hi,
As you are aware that Co Production Order is being used when there is no quantity structure. Hence, there shall be no routings with details of activities and the quantity of activities, etc and we cannot use confirmation as we are doing in regular Production Corder. Consequently,  we are left with one alternative of passing on the activity cost(qty x price) to the CO Production through Direct Activity Allocaiton(KB21N).
    Trust this helps much!
    Cheers!

  • Outsource partial qty of the oepration at production order

    Hi, there,
I am currently working on a mechanical industry project. The customer may outsource partial  quantity of an operation due to capacity limit. That means one operation will be splitted into in-house production and external processing. I try to keep this process in the same production order due to production management concern. However, since oepration qty can't be changed, user will post a final confirmation to original operation to close the in-house production operation. And user will insert an external processing operation right after the original operation. My original idea is to convert the partial qty of PR generated by production order into purhcase order and then close the rest of PR. But I found out it's impossible to do anything on PR Qty except of blocking it. Does anyone ever
have experience on this kind of requirement? Any input is welcome. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Nancy

    Hi,
    1. For your order type PP01in opl8 tcode  in the controlling tab page set the cost collector indicator and default rule as Periodic settlement PP2.
    2.create info record for vendor.
    3.create product collector.(KKF6N)
    4. create production order and release .
5.Goto operation  overview.select the operation for which you are going to outsource.
6.choose function and split order and enter the outsource qty.
    7. Enter the order type and execute.
    8. Now your production order will be two .
    9.  Now choose the second order and goto operation oveview and select the operation and change the control key as PP02 and enter the purchasing details in the External operation view and release the operation and save.
10.Now in the same tab PR will be created and convert it to PO and the external processing of operation begins and process
    is as usual.

  • FM to change Confirmation number of Production order

    Hello Experts,
I have a requirement where I need to change the confirmation number ( which is already created for a production order) AFVC-RUECK.  I could see that the confirmation number is not modifiable once it is created and no opition to change it by BDC.  But my requirement is to change it for a production order.
    1.  Is there any FM or BAPI to change it?
    2.  Or directly changing in the database table AFVC is the only option?
    3.  Or is there any other method in which we can do it.
    Awaiting your reply,

  • Confirmation of a production order

    Hello,
I have a question regarding the confirmation of a production order.
Is it possible to confirm part of a production order into a temporary special stock in 4.6b? The reason is that we have to perform inspection before posting it into final unrestricted stock. The confirmation into the 'temporary' stock should not book any values of the stock. The value should be booked after the inspection.
    Looking forward to your feedback!!

    Hi,
If you have QM module implemented, maintain inspection type 04 in material master & upon posting GR for the production order an inspection lot will be created. You can then do a results recording & a usage decision on the inspection lot. If it passes the QC it will be posted to unrestricted stock.
If you do not have QM module then alternatively create a SLoc which is not included for MRP & specify this SLoc in your order header & when you do GR it will be posted to this SLoc. You can then a SLoc to SLoc transfer. Or if you dont want to create a SLoc, check in MIGO while posting GR for this order if you can specify that it is to be treated as a QC stock.

  • How to use the selection profile and status profile for production order?

    Hi expert,
I want to know how to use the selection profile and status profile for production order. what's the usage for these two selection profile and status profile ?
      Please help me.
      thanks in advance.
      george.shi

    Hi George,
There are are two types of statuses. One is system status and second one is user status. These statuses will tell us current situation of an order.
We can't change system statuses. But we can create our own statuses through status profile. With this profile we can control user statuses.
    In this status profile,
1.We define the sequence in which user statuses can be activated,
    2.We define initial statuses
    3. Allow or prohibit certain business transactions.
Selection profiles are used to select the objects (say production orders) with different status combinations. We assign status profiles to selection profiles in BS42 T-Code.

  • Delivered qty and put in stock qty not updated after GR reversal

    Hi,
We encountered a strange issue while making a 102 movement for a production order.
    Planned order qty  - X
    Production order qty  - X+Y
    Confirmed Qty  - X
GR posted for Splits of Qty X
    GR Posted for Qty Y
At this time Quantities in Production shows like
    Planned Order   X
    Order               X+Y
    Delivered          X+Y
    Commited        X
As wrong posting has been done for Qty Y, GR reversal has been carried for Y. After Reversal
Deliveried Qty and Put in Stock qty still shows X+Y.
This is an issue as settlement can not done as it has difference in quantities. This issue was nver observed earlier.
Looked for any available SAP note for this issue and couldn't get one. Any help to fix this issue or reference to any SAP note is appreciated.

    Hi,
Look into the Transaction : COGI.
If the entry is there act upon the entry.
If this is the case, suggested is to schedule the Program : "CORUPROC" in thr regular intervals.
    Hope this helps..
    Revert for further discussion..

The SemiFinished product is manufactured and its having lot of stocks ..while i am calling this SemiFinished product in other Production order the available qty is not shown.. so how come the end user comes to know that availlable..

  • Goods Issue Control & confirmation control for Production Order.

    Dear ALL,
Please let me know how to control,
    1) Unauthorised consumption of component quantities in excess of quantity defined in BOM?
    2) Posting of Confirmation (At operation Level) against production order for which no components have been issue?
    3) Posting of goods receipt against production order for which no components have been issued or no confirmations have been posted?
    4) Posting of goods reversal quantity in excess to issued quantity.
    Regards,

    Prashant,
Not all the requirements you mentioned can be controlled in Standard SAP system. For some of the requirements you could configure User status (Tcode :BS02).
    exmaple :
Posting of Confirmation (At operation Level) against production order for which no components have been issue?
SET user status XX on Business  transaction : Release that forbids CONF.
SET another user status YY on Business transaction : Goods movement that allows confirmation.
With this kind of tricky user status you can control/prevent some transactions in production order till certain transactions are done.
I know this is not the ideal solution but I have used it for various purposes to meet certain business needs.
    Hope this helps you.
    Thanks,
    Ram

  • Dates for setting DLV and TECO status in production orders

    Hi,
I am trying to understand where SAP is holding information on the date of change of status of Proces (or Production) order to TECO or DLV. I think that this information must be held somewhere as based this date is being used to calculate variance for production orders in KKS2 or KKS1 transaction.
    Thank you,
    Karol

    Hi
    1. In your Production Order - there is a Line in the 1st screen where you would see a series of Status Like REL DLV TECO SETC, etc
    2. you would see a i against the Statuses.. Click it
    3. You would see a tab called STATUS, where in all the Statuses are listed
    4. Click any of the desired status and then choose MENU Extras > Change docs > For Status
