Difference between bridge and local mode with wlc 5508

Hello,
Now i have wlc5508 with few ap 11xx 12xx in local mode. All work correct. I will have to add few ap1552 in bridge mode ( i have to wait for wlc upgrade to change ap1552 to local mode). My question is that all ( local and bridge mode) will work correct together for my clients: rfid readers, laptop, computer in a,b,g,n mode ? What about roaming and other feature ?

If you plan on not doing MESH, then you set these 1552's in local mode and they will perform the same tasks as any other AP's in local mode. When you want to do MESH, then that is when bridge mode comes into play and you have to define your RAP's and MAP's.
Roaming, clients devices, doesn't matter if your using local or bridge. roaming depends on your device and coverage and rfid, also depends on triangulation with the coverage you have now.

Dual mode means that the phone will connect to either 2G (GSM) or 3G connections. It will try for a 3G connection if it's strong enough, otherwise, it will go to a 2G connection.
The difference between 3G and dual mode, is in 3G mode, the phone will only try to connect to a 3G connection.
In most cases, dual would be better. If you are in an area will really strong and constitent 3G, then it's probably better to be on 3G.

Difference between HREAP and Local AP

I am interested to know if there is any difference between HREAP (centrally switched, centrally authenticated) with normal local AP.
As I can see all the traffic from the AP will still go through the controller to at the central site.

Differences between lrcat and lrdb files with new OS and LR 2?

So I just refurbished my machine by wipping my drives that contain the
operating system (Win XP Pro) and other program files. I did regular backups
of all including the various settings for lightroom and everything else I
could find outside of the backup that LR would do on it's own. Previously,
before this refurbishment, I was using LR 1.4 and just did install LR 2.1. I
hadn't upgraded any of my LR databases as I created a temporary picture
database on another drive just to test drive 2.1. So essentially, I had both
LR 1.4 and LR 2.1 install simutaniously. Didn't have any issues either, but
again, just checking out 2.1 prior to abandoning 1.4. Anyhow, in my new
setup I was just going to go with LR 2.1. Realizing that my catalog files
(.lrcat) would prompt to be updated, I am thinking I am fine. But since
Adobe's LR likes to place files all over the place from 'program files' to
'application data' to 'my pictures', I ended up with what "seems" to be some
duplicates and/or am a bit confused as I am not sure what goes where. I
mean, I think I have it all down as I backed up some items such as the lrdb
files and then brought in some stuff I had backed up before this
refurbishment. All seems fine, but I would rather aviod issues in the
future. So could someone tell me what goes where and their file name(s) and
extensions? And when doing this, what is the difference between the lrcat
and the lrdb files? Seems LR 2.1 doesn't contain or create lrdb files. And
lastly, where are my preview files? When I set the lrcat files to point to
my old setup/stuff, the pictures just take a very quick moment before they
are clear and whatnot. Is it best just to recreate? And lastly, is there a
way for me to test and check to make sure I moved the right things into the
right places and that all is working as it should with the proper files? As
an example, all the folders/files that were here "C:\Documents and
Settings\Mark G\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom" I just copied and wrote
over from my backup prior to the refurbishment and things such as my custom
and downloaded web galleries look fine. Any other thoughts? Sorry for the
long read and thanks for any and all help/input you all can provide.

In versions up to and including V1.0, Lightroom catalog files were .lrdb (for Lightroom database). So, if you have already been working with V1.4 you can get rid of any .lrdb files that you may still have.
As regards file locations you could do searches for the following file types:
.lrcat (catalogues and backed-up catalogues)
.lrtemplate (templates and presets)
.agprefs (your preferences file)
previews.ldata (in same folder and with same name as your catalogs)
Lightroom allows you to choose where your catalogs (and associated previews) are stored. It also allows you to specify where Lightroom backs up your catalogs.
Templates and presets are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Application Data\Adobe\Lightroom

Can any one explain about Routed and transperant mode on Cisco ASA in a simple words..

To use an example from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, we have about 220 departments, centers, institutes, and other administrative units on our campus. Some are large and complicated, have their own IT staff, run their own delegated DNS, have multiple sites, and tend to run their own firewalls in routed mode. This will typically be the case for anyone who is using a lot of vlans to segregate traffic for security or performance reasons. Converse, some units are small, single-site, have only one subnet, and lack IT staff. The campus offers them virtual firewall contexts on shared central equipment, and runs those in transparent mode. In transparent mode the routers distinguish the two sides of the firewall using different vlan tags. In routed mode, each firewall interface is on its own distinct subnet as well as vlan, and the uplink outside interface needs a distinct transit subnet of its own, usually something between a v4 /29 - /30.
The choices are not mutual exclusive - I do it both ways on different parts of my network. Mostly of my traffic is in routed mode on my own gear, but I have one segregated sub-unit using transparent mode on the shared campus gear instead. Even on a home network you might be doing it both ways; e.g. if you have a broadband DLS or cable modem plus your own separate wifi router, the modem will typically run in transparent mode (bridging traffic), while the wifi+ethernet device will typically run in routed mode to provide NAT44 service. Cisco ASA gear lets you choose.

Differences between billing and accounting document with down paym. request

Hello to all
We are creating down payment request billing from one sales order with two sales order items that has different tax classification material.
The billing document is created correctly (with the same value for each item), not as the account document.
If you compare the value from the billing document to the account document is not the same. In the account document the system decreases the amount of the first item with the tax amount of the second item and the same for the second item (the amount of the second item decreases the amount of the second item with the tax amount of the first item).Then the tax amount of the two items is right.
If the two items have the same tax classification material, it works fine.
Can anyone help me?, is it a problem with the payment request billing?.

The following Customizing settings have to be made for down payment processing:
Settings for the billing plan To activate the billing plan function, maintain the materials, for which you wish to process down payments, with item category group 0005 (milestone billing). This gives the item type TAO via item type determination. The item type TAO calls up the billing plan function.
You need to implement the following activities in the billing plan for down payments:
Maintain deadline category This determines the billing rule (percentage or value down payment) for the down payment request. The system assigns billing type FAZ (payment request) defined in the standard system with billing category P. (For the billing type FAZ there is the cancellation billing document type FAS in the standard system).
Maintain the deadline proposal Use the down payments that are due for the proposed deadlines.
Maintaining a Pricing Procedure with the Condition Type AZWR:
In the standard system the condition type AZWR is delivered for the down payment value already provided but which has not yet been calculated. You must include this condition type in the relevant pricing procedure before output tax.
Enter condition 2 (item with pricing) and the calculation formula 48 (down payment clearing value must not be bigger than the item value) for the condition type AZWR.
Before the condition AZWR you can create a subtotal with the base value calculation formula 2 (net value). If the condition AZWR is changed manually, you can get information on the original system proposal from the subtotal.
Maintain the printing indicator The pricing procedure can not be marked as a transaction-specific pricing procedure (field Spec.proc.) The condition type AZWR has the calculation type B (fixed amount) and the condition category E (down payment request / clearing).
Maintaining the Billing Document In the standard system there is the billing type FAZ (down payment request) and the billing type FAS for canceling . The down payment is controlled using the billing category P of the billing type. A billing type becomes a down payment request when the billing category P is assigned. You have to maintain blocking reason 02 (complete confirmation missing) for the billing documents and assign it to billing type FAZ.
Copying control Copying requirement 20 must be entered in copying control at item level for the down payment request. In the standard system the order type TA for copying control is set up according to the billing type FAZ for the item category TAO.
Copying requirement 23 must be entered in copying control at item level for down payment clearing. In the standard system the order type TA for copying control is set up according to the billing type F2 for the item category TAO.
Financial Accounting settings A prerequisite for down payment processing is that the account is assigned to the underlying sales document. To do this, change the field status settings in Customizing as follows:
Set reconciliation accounts (transaction OBXR) For the `received down payments and `down payment requests from
the G/L accounts you have selected, you should assign the field status definition G031.
Maintain accounting configuration (transaction OBXB) For the down payments (posting key ANZ in the standard system) and the output tax clearing (posting key MVA in the standard system), you must maintain the posting key.
You must also carry out a G/L account number assignment for the tax account.
Maintain the posting key (transaction OB41) For posting key 19, set the sales order as an optional field
Maintain the field status definition (transaction OB14) For field status variant 0001, field status group G031, set the
sales order as an optional field
Assign the company code to the field status variants (transaction OBC5)

Resolution difference between Bridge and Photoshop

I have a jpg image that has a reported dimension of 2592px x 3456px and a resolution of 180ppi. This data is from the Metadata panel in Bridge.
When I open the image in Camera raw or photoshop the resolution is 1024x1356 at 72 ppi. Why aren't they the same? What is happening? Shouldn't Camera Raw just use the same dimensions and resolution as the original file? It does it on every image. If I open it directly into Photoshop the original dimensions and resolution are not effected.

RV042 - What's a practical difference between gateway and router mode

That´s my scenario, I have a RV042 as gateway on subnet 192.168.254.0,subnet 192.168.0.0 on the same LAN and 3 vpn tunnels connected GATEWAY TO GATEWAY on subnet 192.168.1.0,192.168.2.0 and 192.168.4.0. I setup 192.168.0.0 as Multiple Subnet on RV042 so now i can ping 192.168.0.0 from RV042 but i can´t do this from clients. What i want to know is What will happen if i change RV042 mode from gateway to router and What do i do to make clients (workstations) on subnet 192.168.254.0 reach clients in subnet 192.168.0.0 .

Strange Difference between runtime and development mode.

Hello everyone,
I have created an add-on that adds three items to the menu which launch three different forms. When SBO is loaded and I run the code from the development environment (VB6) it works perfectly, i.e. click on one of the three new menu items and the appropriate form loads.
When I compile and register it as an add on SBO loads it correctly and it customizes the menu. However, when I click on any of the three new menu items it now gives an error message:
Run Time Error (91)
Object variable or With Block variable not set.
And then blows away the add on.
I tried trapping the error in the "Menu_Event" and got nothing. The error occurred as before with no evidence that it had been caught by my trap.
This same behavior occurs on both my development system and on the customer's production system! Both systems are 6.5 sp1 Ef 07.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any help appreciated.

Hi Mel,
I heard of a similar problem - just that the menu event did not get fired.
Do you use event filters?
Did you add the menu event to the filters collection?
Set oFilter = oFilters.Add(et_MENU_CLICK)
Though apparently this should have been mandatory, in case you use filters, from the beginning of 6.5, what I heard from another partner does not match to this information.

Difference between Central and Local Repository

Dear Experts:
I'm relatively new to Data Integrator world. The question I have is around setting up a new Central Repository. As I understand, the steps involved in creating a central repository are:
1. Setup as a DI account (e.g. PRODREPO)
2. Create Central Repository tables
My question is how does the DI application know that PRODREPO is a central repository and not a local. What differentiates a local vs. central repository?
Any help or pointers is greatly appreciated.

repository type is stored in the DI repository, using which all DI application differentiate a local, profiler, central repository
certain functions are not applicable to central repo like Job Execution, Login from Designer, Adding to Job Server

If you mark a page attribute as u2018automaticu2019 (auto in the system), the attribute automatically gets its values via the calling URL or
via the navigation process from other pages.
This kind of attribute only has to be declared for one page.
It is identified by its name equivalence.
If another page uses a parameter with the same name,
at runtime that parameter automatically
gets the same values as the attribute.
Non-automatic page attributes
If you flag a page attribute as non-automatic, the attribute gets its values from the class attribute.
The visibility of page attributes when parameters are transferred between BSP pages depends on whether the navigation is explicit or implicit.
Explicit navigation
For example, if navigation->goto_page(page.htm)
Implicit navigation
With implicit navigation, the page attributes are transferred automatically from OnInputProcessing to OnInitialization, both in stateful and stateless mode.
The auto page attributes are refilled by the request, both in stateful and stateless mode.

Difference between VMI and collaboration with customer

I am trying to understand the difference between VMI and collaborative planning with customer(CPC)
Please correct me if I am wrong. In VMI, a vendor or manufacturer sells his material to customer and through EDI, the customer gives the information such as forecast, stock etc.
In CPC, the vendor and customer interchange information, such as demand, stock levels, promotions, delivery dates etc., based on ITS.
What is the difference between these two?
If I am not wrong, EDI is used for outside company communication andITS for within. So, can I say that VMI is for customer outside the company and CPC for internal customer?

Difference between discrete and repetitive manufactruring is quite simple so in discrete you usually make products witch are make to order type like air craft industry. Discrerte manufacturing is usually for orderbound production.
In repetivive manufacturing usually products are more likely make to stock type like in cosmetics or ice cream factory.
Production order based
1. Production in individual production orders
2. Product change frequently
3. Complex process sicnce the sequence of work centers is varying
4. There was no storage location for semi product, there are always put into interim storage
5. Components will always reference to order
6.There will have status prosesing for each order in each transaction
7. Order confirmation must be carry out for each production order otherwise it remain in WIP.
8. Order based cost controlling
While for repetitive manufacturing
1. Production on period based
2. Product produced unchanged over a longer period of time
3. Simplify process sicnce product produce unchanged
4. Semifinish product post into own storage location
5. componnet are stage at each production lines
6. Reduce control effort (no status procedure)
7. Period based backflush
8. Period base cost controlling

Reporting Services in SharePoint mode is a service for displaying, managing, and creating SSRS reports within SharePoint. The addin is a pre-req for SharePoint that is used to display reports and is required for Reporting Services in Native or SharePoint
mode, but does not by itself do anything.
