Difference in value in MIGO &  part2

Hi,
In MIGO the BED value captured has flown to J1IEXwhile posting part2 , but in the credit availed tab it is showing different amount. What is the reason behind this.
Regards,
Kumar

This is possible in case of capital goods (the material type for excise is Assets/tools) in which case it hits RG23C register. As per law, only 50% credit can be taken in the first year and 50% in the next year. Hence the credit available might be half of the excise amounts.

  • Excise Values in MIGO For MPN Materials

    Hello,
While capturing the excise invoice for the MPN materials system is not picking the excise values. We are using the TAXINN procedure and i have maintianed the condition records for the Key combination country/Plant/Control Code/Taxcode (WE have created a condtion table for this key combination) and we also maintained the MPN materials in the J1ID also but it is not picking the values in the item tab. Taxes are caluclated in the Purchase order.
    Note:
For the MPN Materials we have only three views maintained in the material master and it is not extended to any of the plant.
I have noticed that if use the other tax code which i maintained the condition records for Conidtion table 651 (key Combination of Country/Tax Code) the excise values are flowing in MIGO but if i use the tax code  EA (Condition table 652 Key Combination: country/Plant/Control Code/Taxcode) we are not getting the excise values in MIGO
Please let me know if there is any configuration is missing.

First you have to post the Customs MIRO in case of import purchase...then go for MIGO...you will find excise tab will follow....

  • Difference in value Between BW and R/3

    Hi,
We are in the process of validating reports .We have observed difference in value for  credit and debit amount fields in BW and for the same data is coming from standard data source 0EN_JVA_2 (Joint venture: Actual line item using delta extraction) we have done full data load. In the data source the data coming from a single field and that is spited based on debit/credit indicator in R/3.
I need your valuable input on where the problem is for the difference of value between BW and R/3.

    Hi,
Is there any filterations in the IP?
Any data packet deletion activity in the start rountine?
Any update rule for the key figure is having routine with modifiying the value?
    Kindly check.
In case if you are seeing number of records, always aggregation happens.
If the difference is in terms of quantity of the key figure values, kindly check the above three.
Kindly come to us so that we can suggest

  • Unlimited Delivery Indicator in relation with Default values in MIGO screen

What is the relation of 'Unlimited Delivery Indicator' in PO with 'Porposed All Items Indicator'  in Default Values of MIGO?
    Case:
PO created with quantity 100. GR is done for 100 quantity. If 'Porposed All Items Indicator'  is set system allows to receive more than PO quantity in GR.
Its behavior is same as Unlimited Delivery Indicator in PO.

'Porposed All Items Indicator' Indicates that items with quantities of zero are also suggested upon goods receipts with reference to purchase orders.
use:No more goods receipts are expected for items that have a quantity of zero, but they are possible. Items with quantities of zero may occur after partial deliveries or reversals, for example.
You can set this indicator if you often have to enter additional quantities to purchase order items that are already completed.
'Unlimited Delivery Indicator'  the delivery quantity is not limited

  • Difference in values in local currency - MB51

    Hello all,
In our scenario we moved all the inventory out of system using 562 and moved all the same amount stock back using 561.
the movement of stock generated material documents that were displayed using MB51. MB51 also has a layout option to display the value of the stock in local currency.
the issue is - when the same amount of stock of the particular material was moved back into the system using 561, there was a change in the value (local currency Value) of the stock, eventhough the same amount of inventory of the particular material was posted back. the difference in the value was very small (only few decimal values less than the original amount)
could you pl. let me know what causes this difference in value before and after moving the stock.(using movement types 561 and 562)
Pl. let me know the reason and possible ways of having the same value before and after moving the stock into the system
    Thanks

  • Difference between value node, model node and recursion node?.

    Hi all,
this is to ask you the difference between modal node, value node and recurrsion node?
    please explain
    Anhitya Kashyap

    hi Anhit,
node can be classified as a value node or model node. The difference between value nodes and model nodes is that a value node can store the data itself, whereas the model node only references an external model object that stores the data.
    more on nodes check this

  • Difference between value attribute and value attribute under Node in contex

I have very basic question..it might be very simple but it is giving me a problem.
I have created one Node name "Input" and value attribute "Input1" under it.
I have just created one more value attribute named "in1" not under any Node.
I have created two input filed in the my view. One first I have mapped the value in properties
to variables "Input.Input1" and on another "in1".
When I deploy and run the application one Input box is coming as readonly and other is working fine .Will anybody tell me why it is so?

There is no major difference between value attribute and inside a node.
It is a separation of attributes. Usually all the attributes belongs to same purpose will create in one value node. Like, calling one BAPI - requestListBAPI - it contains all the bapi related value attributes.
For your question, one field is read only(Input.Input1), bcz that context is not created. see the context properties.....cardinality will be 0..n. Change the cardinality to 1...n (<b>or</b>) create that context element .
In your implementation create that value node like this in your init method.
    wdContext.createInputElement();
    It will solve your problem.
in1 - is a value attribute, which is mapped to your input element. It wont have any problem.

  • Difference between value category and cost element

Hi I am new to SAP Pm.can anyone explain me the difference between value category and cost element and how are they linked with examples

    HI Pallavi,
Value Category are use to devide your total cost in to diffrent elements for example Material, External Services, Internal Services etc. If you dont have any value category configured then all cost will show together.
Cost Element are the cost collector where your cost will be booked means different cost under different Elements.
So What you need to do You need to create one Value category Like material or any thing then you need to assign all Cost Elements which will be used to book cost related to Material or that perticular category. You can assign Cost Element directly, range or as a group to these category under SPRO.

  • Exchange rate difference while posting ME21N MIGO and MIRO

    Hi All,
I am facing one problem with exchange rate type between M and EURX  and EURX is maintanined in the SPRO>SAP Netweaver>General Settings>currencies>Check Exchange rate types
    EXRT :  EURX
    Usage    :  EMU Reg,fixed
    Ref.Curr    : EUR
    Buy.ra.at
    Sall .Rat.At
    Inv
    EMU   :X
    FIXED
    Scenario:
Company(USD) is maintaning Exchange rate type: M and no exchange rates are maintained for USD:EUR or EUR:USD.
Eur is maintaing in Exchange rate type EURX.
    1) PO (ME21N) is posting for the Vendor on posting date 01/01/2008. Transaction currency is EUR and company code currency is USD and Quantity : 25000
--> Exchange rate 'M' is not maintained for EUR and values are picking from the EURX Type. In the PO, Exchange rate is picking correctly from the EURX table entries on 01/01/2008.
    2) MIGO: GR  is posted on 01/25/2008 and with 15000 Quantity. Exchange rate is getting currecly from the table on 01/25/2008.
    3) MIRO: IR is posted on 02/15/2008 and Vendor Account is picking correct exchange rate from the table but GR/IR account is caluculations EUR:USD is differntly .
Note: It is not GR based IR.
    Ex:
PK AC                DESCRIPTION                    Tran Curr (EUR)    Local Curr  USD
    31 5004789     Vendor Account                       24,718.48-            38,777.12- USD
    86 2525000      A/P-GR/IR NON-INV                24,718.48            38,883.73  USD
    91 6584785      SERV-OTHER O/S                    0.00                 106.61- USD
Here GR/IR account is cal dirrently.
    4) Credit Memo posted against IR on 03/25/2008. Exchange rate is given while posting CM same as Invoice. But system rate is different. Here also how the GR/IR is calculating is question is it not taking from Table or from any other rate types . Same problem like IR for GR/IR account.
    Entry is posted like
PK  ACC         Description                            Tran curr(EUR)  Local curr(USD)
    21 5004789     Vendor                                   24,718.48        38,777.13  USD
    96 2525000     /P-GR/IR NON-INV                   24,718.48-      38,892.22- USD
    81 6584785     SERV-OTHER O/S                     0.00            115.09  USD
This problem is same like GR and also SPL document is posting differenly for ZG and ZL ledger.
ZL ledger is posting same like Accounting CM document ZG is posting with the different amount . This different amount is nothing but the exchange rate as per the posting date 03/25/2008. Exchange rate on 03/25/2008 is differe from IR date 02/15/2008 .
ZL ledger is calculating based on the 02/15/2008 date and ZG ledger is calculating based on the 03/25/2008 . Difference between Exchange rate entered in the CM and 03/25/2008 table entry rate is showing exchange rate difference field in the Addtional field in the document display.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Dear Friends,
Thanks for your helpful answers, actually we are in big export business. So we have to clear 100s of invoice lines with payments at one go, (which obviously being booked at different dates) so it would be very difficult for the user to go one by one invoice.
My concern is, why system does not calculate exchange rate difference based on actual documents, i.e. Invoice to payments only. I think there might be some configuration needed to implement this functionality.
    Please help.

      2200.1
Because of this value difference i m getting price difference in MIRO of Rs.2200.1/-
Someone give us the solution for it.
    Thanks For your Understanding...
    Reg,
    Suresh B

    Hi Arunachalam,
    Check these points.
    1) Check whether any condition values changed in between PO and Goods receipt.
    2) Check whether any custom development or enhancement in MIGO
    3) Check whether any routine is active for the Pricing Procedures

  • Need advise to calculate stock difference (Theoric values vs real values)

I know there is a transaction named MI20
This transaction is able to give me the needed info... except it gives me the info un units. Meaning, if a box of certain product has 12 SKU and we have 12 boxes, the result window shows 144 SKU.
This is not a bad thing... except for the fact that the company does not only want to see the SKU but they want to see the boxes. If there are 145 SKU of the same product in stock, they want the result window to show it like this:
Item: <ItemName>, Boxes: 12, Units: 1 (This is a rough example)
Now... I don't think it is a good idea to touch the standard code, so I decided to create a new (and simplified) transaction that asks only the parameters they want, they agreed to this and so I started... but stopped almost right away.
"Why?" you might ask. Well, I don't know the tables I sould read to determine a difference in stock between what's supposed to be and what really is.
My common sense tells me the actual stock is somehow introduced to the system with some document. But where? Which table(s)?
Also, how can I calculate the theoric values ? Initial stock (date of implementation) minus sales, plus purchases? That's what common sense tells me but... also tells me that is only going to be slower as time passes by, not to mention I don't know where to look into (again).
After the people who implemented SAP left, we were left adrift. No data dictionary, no ABAP training, no language refference manual, no nothing :s
I don't want source code to be written here... but I'm kinda desperate, I tried to understand the standard code of the MI20 but I get lost. I'm reading the RM07IDIF report and while I can see some tables there, I can't ger a grip on what's happening >___<
What would you say is a good starting point or course of action? (Don't say "Get formal ABAP trainning"... that's not going to happen, my boss haven't even pressed the buttons to get a book from the SAP store ;_;)
I know the ISEG, MARA, T!58 tables play a role in the whole movie (How, that's still a mistery I have to unveil).I  I've also noticed some structures that (to my understanding) are used mostly to store partial results.
I know this question is very vague and even might look like "Do the work for me", but believe me, I'm not looking for source code to copy paste. I'm trying to understand the system and the relation between the tables in order to start coding.
Thanx in advance for your help and understanding : /
