Different Currencies in Contracts and Sold To's

Hi
Is there any table in SAP to check if the sales document (Contract) currency is different to that of the sold to party?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Nara

You can develop a zee report for the tables already mentioned and the coding should be in a way that system should compare the fields WAERS and WAERK from the tables KNVV & VBAK respectively and only wherever it is different, report should be populated.

  • Different amount in Contract and Billing document.

    Hi All,
We have a issue here, need suggestion.
We have a contract which has a billing plan. We have maintained monthly plans with a fixed amount.
Say we have $ 1000 in the contract, but the billing has been created with $ 900.
So you see the amounts are different in contract and billing document.
We have checked there are no recent pricing changes or any such changes that will have such effect. The invoice is created in May.
There were pricing changes in March but they had been corrected in March itself.
Let me know if anybody has faced such issue and where may be the issue.

You would have to cross-check the Pricing at Item level in Contract & Invoice. Hope , it would help you to check the Base Price or some other Prices / Discounts.

SAP Sourcing Supplier Management - Brief Intro
SAP Sourcing Supplier Management enables the following capabilities:
Centralized supplier database: Create a central repository of all your Supplier records with all the associated documentation including scorecards, financial statements, risk assessments, and insurance certificates can help support periodic supplier reviews to audit compliance.
Integrated Supplier Portal: Each Supplier has a personalized portal that allows him to view all relevant information to manage their relationship with you. Suppliers respond to bid requests and auctions, view scorecard performance, maintain their own contact and category records, and view active contracts. This holistic and easy-to-use interface greatly reduces the time it takes for Suppliers to become proficient working over the Internet and decreases their cost of doing business with you.
Supplier Scorecard Sharing: The ability to easily track and analyze supplier performance can reduce risk and costs. SAP Sourcing’s flexibility allows you to establish metrics and evaluation criteria based on category and region.  For reporting purposes, you can generate a scorecard over periods of time, such as each quarter, to monitor a supplier’s progress over the course of a year.  Automatic assignment of traffic light indicators quickly highlights areas requiring attention from Supplier managers.  The ability to share Supplier scorecards through the Supplier portal enables full collaboration and sharing of information to ensure optimal performance.
Supplier Self-Registration: Suppliers can self-register in SAP Sourcing, or you can invite them to become users. The registration form can be configured to collect the most relevant information to accelerate the supplier qualification process.  When new Suppliers are accepted, their registration form responses are used to generate the initial Supplier record.
Supplier Profile Maintenance: As the supplier information changes, Suppliers can update their product and contact information through the Supplier portal, saving the Sourcing organization from the administrative burden of researching and updating supplier information.
Supplier Relationship Activities: A successful Supplier relationship is built and sustained over time through a series of ongoing, recurring activities. These include routine tasks such as safety, insurance, and diversity certifications, as well as strategic joint meetings and planning activities. SAP Sourcing delivers an automated tracking and alert system that enables you to manage Supplier-specific activities with less effort.  The system automatically sends alerts to Suppliers when tasks are due.   In response Suppliers can modify profile and contact information and send updated certificates online through the SAP Sourcing Supplier Portal and the new, reviewed information is updated directly to the Supplier record.
Supplier Diversity Promotion: SAP Sourcing offers a unified system to help increase the number of qualified diverse suppliers, achieve desired participation and award rates, and track compliance without additional resources.   For example, diversity qualifications seamlessly flow from the self-registration form, to the Supplier record, to RFx responses for “extra credit” on scoring.  Buyers inviting suppliers to events now have easy access to a single, searchable supplier database that includes category, location, and diversity information, lowering the threshold for compliance.

  • Sales order with reference to Contract and another sales order

    Hi Gurus,
I would like your suggestions on one of the business requirement i have.
We are creating a new EDI interface with few of our customers to create sales orders. While creating sales orders, it should validate if there are any open contracts available and if yes, then the sales order should be created with reference to it. so far good but there are chances that sold to party on the contract could be different from sold to party on the EDI order sent by customer (customer can have more than one sold to party on their system). IDOC's are failing in this scenario and not able to create a sales order since sold to partys are not matching. I need your help.
Can we do some thing in customer master to handle this scenario?
    or
Create a new sales doc type (YEDI or some thing) and create sales order from IDOC without reference to contract. Business will look into all YEDI order and create the actual sales order out of it but the challenge here is i cannot refer contract to the actual sales order or YEDI order.
Is it possible to create sales order with ref to a contract and another sales order?
    Please help
    Thanks
    Venkat

    Hello Venkat
What is the linkage between sold to party of contract and sold to party of order..If customer has more than one sold to party.
Why don't you use customer hierarchy....link all sold to party of a customer to hierarchy node.for example...you create a hierarchy  node 1000 and assigned customers 2000 and 3000 to it.you have contract for 2000..so when you create a sales order for 3000 check in knvh table it's customer hierarchy 1000 and get all sold tos assigned to hierarchy...which is 2000....check if contract exist for sold to's..If yes then create order with reference.
Let us know if it works for you.

  • SD Customer Contract and MM Purchase Contract

    Good day
I need to know if anyone has a solution on forming a relationship between these documents, and be able to report at item level for example Item x bought at $10 in the Purchase contract and sold at $15 in the Sales Contract. We need to form such a relationship between these contracts so we can report and compare line items.
    Regards,
    Iggy

I had similar requirement and used Purchase Order Header field 'Collective No' EKKO-SUBMI and put the Contract number in there. Then I used BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST to do the budget check. I configured a new Contract Doc type and New PO Document type (with field selection requiring entry for EKKO-SUBMI) to provide more control. You will also want to create a custom report that lists the run rate/burn of the contract.
    Other considerations
    1) When the check fails, do you want error or warning ? we programmed it to be changeable via a ztable entry.
    2) do you want to do any date checking of the PO header date(s) and the Contract validity date ?
    3) do you want to check / verfiy the Purchasing organization of the Contract vs the PO ?
    Sorry its late !

  • High level contract and orders created with reference

    Dear All,
The client is an integrated flat steel manufacturer. They have entered into quantity contract with high level products like for example Hot rolled coils + Cold rolled coils + Heat Treated plates 5000 T per month. There is no clear cut quantity breakup of each product. On monthly basis customer releases purchase orders with exact grade and dimensions. The requirement is to capture contact for 5000T and create orders with reference to the contract with necessary completion rule. Since exact break up of the high level products is not known controlling of order quantity to 5000T will involve lot of manual intervention. I was thinking in the contract we have high level material "X with 5000T and orders created with reference with actual materials like Hot rolled coils, Cold rolled coils and exact dimension/grade mentioned. Is this possible to have different materials in contract and order with enhancement?
Any other idea of fulfilling the requirements is welcome.
    Thanks,

    Hi Ramesh,
Go through  EKPO there is a Table BANFN it will update when you create a PO with reference to PR
Do se11 > Table EKPO> CtrlShiftF10 > Assign any of PO no. in the EBELN > Execute > you will find BANFN table
it indicates Purchase Requisition Number. it will update when you create PO with reference to PR.

  • Application requires different currency

    Hello there,
I am trying to develop an application using Dreamweaver CS5. It requires the display and processing of different currencies, using different number formats (american ex.: 1,000.24. european ex.: 1.000,24) and different date formats: mm/dd/yy for North America and dd/mm/yy for Europe. I wonder if somebody can point me towards a tutorial of how to do it (I do not want to have a new page of for different currencies, numbber formats and dates!)
    Thank you,
    Carly

The date is easy.  Store the date as a timestamp and echo as whatever date format matches the user setting ( http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php ).
Now the currency can be a little bit tricky.  The easiest way is to just set the multiple prices in the database for the product.  And depending on which region is being used, echo the string that is stored in the database.  This is usually the preferred way as opposed to running calculations on exchange rates.  This is because 1000.24 is not equal to 1000,24.
The key to both of these is making sure that you have a field in the user database that sets their region and you store that with their session so that the right formats and prices are picked up as the user is browsing around.  Also because of the different currencies you may want to hide all prices until a user has registered and is logged in and just show the date in a default format until the user again registers and logs in unless you have a plan for guest access.

  • Different currency exchange rate at time of sales order and invoicing

    Hi Ankur,
Thanks for your reply. But our problem is sales order, exchange rates are defined with M type in OB08 as u have said. However when the periods are different for order entry and invoice generation we are facing the following problem.Orders are at old exchange rates and excise invoice is getting generated at current exchange rate. This is resulting in value difference between commercial invoice and excise invoice.

  • Contracts with different Currencies

Hi SAP experts,is it possible  to create a Contract with different currencies in line items for a vendor???.Thank you for any advice.

No, the currency is a header field (EKKO-WAERS).
It is possible to enter conditions with a different currency, but this will then be converted into the "PO currency"

  • Different currencies in Master Agreement and it;s Sub-Agreement

    Hi Experts,
I see that the Sub-Agreement(SA) by default have the same currency as that of the Master Agreement(MA). However, by using importer, we can create a SA which can have a different currency from it’s MA.
If SAP allows the SA to have alternate currency using importer, why do it restricts from UI. We may have a business scenario where SA may be created for different countries and may have alternate currency.
Please share your thoughts on this .
    Regards
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
Currency field becomes read only as soon you add a line item to both Master Agreement and Sub-Agreement.
If you want to make Sub-Agreement a different currency, you need to make to sure that there are no line items added until the intended currency is selected.
    I hope this helps.

  • Keep contract and switch the number to my payg number and give my old no to different network

I have two pay as you go and one pay monthly I would like to use one of the pay as you go number for my pay monthly account and give my current may monthly number to my daughter who is on a different network to O2. Please explain if this can be done and how I can go about doing this online. Thank you

will i be able to get a completely new number for the pay monthly and give the current number to the other network, or will I still have to end the pay monthly contract, to give the number to another network. Thank you for your kind help. When you use the Pac code that terminates your contract, so no notice is necessary, but as mentioned by all others, make sure you are out of contract before you do that or you will get an early cancellation fee.As for the pay and go, if you just want to turn it into a contract without getting a new phone, you just need to ring customer services and they will arrange it for you. If you are getting a new phone, just buy it as a new contract and ask for the pay and go number to be transferred on to it.

  • Currency conversion with different currency and company code

    Hi all,
how could it be done if in the report different currencies have to be managed / displayed?
The InfoObject 0Comp_Code has to be handled for example with different currencies. There are different company codes available and their currency should be converted in the query. But for example we have different currencies like dollar, yen and euro. So the currency should be dedicated correctly.
And the credit control area (the highest level in organisation) has only Euro.
The data (currency) of credit control area and company code in the cube is available only in Euro at the moment.
I thought it would be more flexible when the conversion is done at query level then at transformation level. We have filters in the query and the query is very fast. Is it also possible to include a currency for selection in filter?
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have a filter for selection of target currency if multiple currencies are involved. However, you would need to define a currency translation first in RSCUR. Here, you can specify EUR to be the fixed source currency & a variable in case of target currency which will be used as a filter for user input when the query is executed. You also need to have a reference date (exchange rate date) & a exchange rate type (avg. mthly rate, daily buying rate etc.) associated with the currency translation.
