Different keywords in scripts

I was curious to know if it is just a personal choice, carry over from prior AS versions, browser adaptation, cross script language compatability, or is there some specific functionality difference between essentially the same mouse events end result.
For example I notice some use "MOUSE_DOWN", others "onRelease", some use "buttonDown" and still others just "CLICK". All seem to work identically, but there has to be a reason why there are so many.
It can be confusing when to use what. Enlightenment is requested.

It's doubtful that the W3C will ever get along with the world of Flash... for some reason they just don't want to cooperate... otherwise there wouldn't have to be all this extra code to help make Flash content presentable in browsers without being rejected as being non-compliant with the W3C standards.

Different keywords in different albums

Can I have different keywords assigned to the same image that is in different albums?
Let's say I have 2 albums, Stock1 and Stock2 The same image is in each album, but I want the keywords to be different. Possible?

The only work around I can think of is to make a Duplicate Version, leave them stacked then make one the Album Pick in Stock1 and the other the Album Pick in Stock2.
Not ideal.

Problems when using RUNLOGIC Keyword in Script Logic

Hello experts,
I have a problem using RUNLOGIC keyword within Script logic. Both scripts are mentioned below.
Following scenario:
- combination of DESTINATION_APP and LOOKUP to multiply values from two source applications in order to to write results in target application
- data volume in source application VALCHAIN are approx 187.000 records; source app SALES = 500 records
- created data records in target application QUANTITIES are approx 204.000 records
Running LOGIC01_QUANTITIES.LGF without "RUNLOGIC" keyword:
- time to execute logic and write records: 10-12 minutes
- created records 204.000
Running LOGIC01_QUANTITIES.LGF via CALL_RUNLOGIC.LGF
- script does not finish; system produces dumps
- Tcode ST22 shows error messages called "TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED" as well as "SYSTEM_NO_ROLL" as well as "CALL_FUNCTION_SEND_ERROR"
Does anybody have a guess for that? Any answer appreciated.

This error comes up when there is no enough memory.
How many members do you have in PRODUCT and how many parallel processes did you set up in PARALLELSCRIPT?
Also, I'd suggest to put *XDIM_MEMBERSET PRODUCT = %PRODUCT_SET% in your LOGIC01_QUANTITIES.LGF script.
Did you get anything in RUNLOGIC log? In UJFS you can find logs for every parallel process ran, name if it is just it's time stamp.
Can you see from those what scripts ran and with what parameters?
This should simplify resolution of your issue.

Different Keywords per page

Is it possible for a Contribute CS3 user to edit the keywords
on each individual page, so different pages have different keywords
appropriate to the content of that page?
Also the user is getting an error, "You cannot perform this
action in this region of the page" when she tried to edit the
keywords. Is there something I need to do in Dreamweaver to the
template to allow keyword editing?

Keyword editing; script request

I am looking for a way to better edit keywords in Aperture 2.
If I bring up the Keyword HUD (shift-H), I sure can organize the keywords into a tree, but Aperture shows neither the match count nor the images themselves. Selecting images by keyword can apparently only be done out of a flat list from the +Smart Settings+ of the Library search function or the Query HUD in the browser window.
I have been importing many older images from +iView Media 3+ which has excellent keyword management capabilities. In particular, I like the hierarchical location management via IPTC fields. (That would be nice to have in Aperture, without having to "abuse" keywords.) Unfortunately, I haven't been all that consistent in keyword assignment (who is?), so there is a lot of cruft (typos etc.), and cleaning this up is not getting any easier with more incoming pictures.
As a workaround, it would help if there was a pair of AppleScripts to map the keywords library onto appropriate containers and back, where a container is either a project, a yellow, or a blue folder -- I know this is a bit vague because of the very specific purposes and limitations of each one of those. Two scripts would be needed:
*Keywords to Folders*
- Create a toplevel container Keywords
- For each existing (hierarchical) keyword:
-- create a matching hierarchical container under Keywords
-- match images and place (link) them into the new container
-- remove keyword from the keyword library
At this point, one can edit the keywords graphically by manipulating the containers.
*Folders to Keywords*
- For each container below Keywords
-- create keyword in library, with same name and hierarchy level
-- apply keyword to images in container (if not already present)
However, this is beyond my limited expertise with AppleScript. For someone more experienced: Is this feasible, or does such a mapping perhaps already exist?

Forgive me but I cannot help myself - I must post a response.
While I sympathize with you in whatever issue you are trying to solve with your organization and I do believe whole heartedly in using whatever tools you have in anyway that suits your needs. I do believe that you may be missing the point of hierarchical keywords. The point is primarily to impose additional pseudo hierarchical structures that are not necessarily identical to your primary hierarchical structure. It's also convenient and efficient to be able to change those virtual structures and add new ones. This is usually best accomplished by only adding the most specific keywords to your images and then arranging those specific keywords under increasingly general parent keywords. You don't really want to be adding every single keyword in the hierarchy to each image nor do you want your primary org structure to mirror one particular keyword path.

Personally I believe you would find yourself with a bigger more gigantic mess should this script/scripts be unleashed on humanity. Maybe we here at the ole' Aperture forum could be of assistance in helping get to the root of what you are actually trying to accomplish?

Keywords search script in Bridge with subfolders

From the forums and other research I have realized if you are on a network and tag a photo, a second user can search for the keywords if all the photos are in one main folder. Yet Bridge does not work with finding keywords within subfolders.
Does anyone know if there is a script or if a script can be written to trick Bridge into searching subfolders for keywords when in the root directory?

In the search box do you have a check mark for Search All Subfolders? Will also not find anything in other folders if they are not indexed.

User authentication - Logging in to different pages / PHP script / DW8

Hi, I want to develop a PHP script for a login page that will direct users to different URLs depending on the URL address associated with their individual records stored in a MySQL database.
I've set up a MySQL database which includes fields for (1) User Name (2) Password and (3) URL address. I'm using Dreamweaver 8 and am relying on the server behaviour 'log In User'.
After selecting all 3 x fields from the table is there specific code that can be inserted into the option "If login succeeds, go to" to resolve this query?

U can EDIT the FORM only in any language but not at the same time or parallely. U cannot Edit parallely though they are different languages.
As per your Message ( "Form ZMMR00 lang. ZH locked: Original lang. EN being processed"), i think u r trying to EDIT the FORM in both EN & ZH at a time. its not possible, either u first edit in EN and then edit in ZH...

How to accept a suggested keyword in Script Editor.app

There is a single reference to Script Assistant in Apple Docs: AppleScript Language Guide. It merely state the obvious:
“You can also turn on or off the Script Assistant, a code completion tool that can suggest
and fill in scripting terms as you type.”
What key do I press to accept the word being suggested? (…so much for user friendly the arrows and tab key don't work).
AS is one of the worst learn-a-new-programming-language experiences I've had. Cut and paste two line demo code from Excel 2004 and Applescript User Guide and it fails over and over again. Sytax is weird, verbose and non-intuiative for me at least.

The keys they chose definitely aren't very intuitive, but they are explained in the AppleScript Editor help - escape will accept the current completion, and as long as an ellipsis is next to the cursor there are multiple possibilities that can be shown by pressing option-escape (from there, a more normal up/down arrow and return select the choice).
The scripting dictionaries (if implemented at all) are entirely up to the developer, so the terms for any given application (or application version) will usually be different than those for another application, so you would need to check the dictionary by opening it in the Script Editor to see what the exact terms and their usage are.

you can try using 'IF' conditions by checking the &PAGE& variable or check if next page is getting triggered using sap counters available in teh table called SAPSCRIPT or call any particular text element from teh print program if there is a page break etc

How to highlight different keywords Simultaneously in a single webpage?

Can pacman search for 2 different keyword at the same time?

I'm sure this is possible, maybe not only with pacman (but grep or something)
The other day I was searching for a KDE image viewer.
pacman -Ss kde (about 3 pages of results)
pacman -Ss image (about 1 or 2 pages of results)
pacman -Ss kde | grep image (in some packages only the description is printed out, so I end up not knowing the package name)
Is there a better way to filter results? Maybe pacman could have something like a +, and one could do something like
pacman -Ss kde + image

Applescript duplicate command runs different as an Application than from Script Editor

Hi,
When I run my script from the Script Editor it copies (duplicates) only the new files from one folder to the other one, as desired. That is, when the file already exists in the destination folder, it just skips to the next one until they are all done.
However, if I save that very same script as an Application and run it, Finder throws up a dialog box for each item telling me that it already exists and asks if I'd like to Keep Both, Stop or Replace the file.
I can't figure out why it would run differently as a Script in Script Editor, to how it would run as an Application? Can somebody please tell me where I'm going wrong? Or perhaps there has been a change in the way Finder and Applescript operate the Duplicate command in Yosemite?
Interestingly, this problem has only started occurring since I updated to Yosemite. Before that, on Mavericks, I didn't have this problem! And I've also just tried the same thing on my other MacBook Pro that's running Mavericks and it works as intended.

I think the replacing parameter may be broken. The first time I run this:

I get a new folder. The second and subsequent times, I get this:
Unless I'm completely misunderstanding how to use the replacing parameter...
