in my store procedure, I have change "opertimizer_mode" from several times among "rule" and "all_rows". I am wondering for the same statement if using different opertimizer_mode will cause different result for data volume ( such as row count?).

What version of Oracle?
The rule hint should probably not be used in or after 10g except in very precise and very limited circumstances which usually involve querying data where no statstics exist - an unlikely event in 10g or 11g. Maybe with collection-to-table CAST() or TABLE() conversions and similar situations.
The cost-based optimizer is almost always to be preferred to the rule-based optimizer in recent versions because almost all of the useful new features the database implements require it.

Yes, absoutely - you can use different RD for the same VRF on different PEs. In fact, if you have chosen to use the PE_IP_Address:Customer format of the RD then logically, the same VRF on different PEs will have different RDs because the PE addresses themselves are different.
There is no obvious advantage or disadvantage to having the same or a different RD per the same VRF on different PEs. The RD is a tool that allows BGP to differentiate between identical prefixes from different VRFs on a single router. However, the value of RD has no influence on how the prefix will be assigned to a particular VRF on the destination PE. For this, route targets are always used.
There is one specific use of different RDs: Advertising multiple paths to a single multihomed VRF site. Because to BGP, the entire value of <RD><Prefix><Netmask> is used in the best path selection algorithm, if two PEs connected to the same VRF site used the same RD, destination PEs and route reflectors would choose and advertise only one of them (remember: BGP always selects and advertises only a single best path). With different RDs, destination PEs and route reflectors see formally different NLRIs, and they perform the best path selection for each of them individually even though the actual <Prefix><Netmask> is the same.
However, for simple VRF deployments, having a unique or identical RD on two PEs for the same VRF makes no significant difference.

Different row count for select versus insert in XML query

Hi,
I encounter a situation where a SELECT * returns a different rows count than an INSERT INTO... (SELECT *) by xmltable join. This makes no sense at all!!!
In breif, I tried to convert xml data into traditional relational tables. I wrote an xml query to select data from xmltable... I checked row count. When I used "create table as select" that was the same query above, I got correct row count. However when I used "insert into select" that was the same query above, I got the wrong info in the table I just inserted.
Does any one have any idea what caused this issue? Thanks for your help.

IMovie causes different applications to not respond. Need help.

iMovie causes different applications not to respond. If I click on iMovies in the Finder or in iWeb, I get the rainbow wheel of death. Eventually, I have to Force Quit the app. I can no longer use iWeb as a result as each time it opens, iMovie tries to load my movies. I can't click on anything else to stop the process and eventually have to Force Quit. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply. Software is all up to date. The problem still persists. I'm not sure Perian is the answer. When composing an email, I clicked on the Attachment icon and it pulled up Finder. Finder appartently was set to default to my movies folder. When it did that, the same problem happened. Mail was locked up and I had to Force Quit. It may be that the iMovie library is too large?

You can find the port number by your instance number as follows:
There is a general format for the port number like you have mentioned.
For 00 instance the port number is 50000.
The general format for the port number goes like this:
5<instance_no>00
If your instance number is 01 then the port number would be 50100.
It depends on the installation type which you perform.
You can also change the instance number during the installation but normally you dont do this.
If you have many components or units installed on your system you may have more than one instance in that case it may go like this 00, 01, 02....accordingly port number will be 50000, 50100, 50200...resp.

I have found that scrolling through the album list (past albums without art) triggers the progress wheel next to the wifi symbol. You can scroll quickly through the whole collection and then wait! Artwork will appear gradually...
However, repeat visits to the Music App might initially show no artwork again, but it might spontaneously appear more quickly this time. The bad news is that the whole Music App is now sluggish as ****...

Ipod touch won't sync on laptop but different ipod will sync

I'm having some issues trying to sync my wife's ipod touch. She's had it for a couple years and we haven't had any issues with it before. She purchased a couple songs recently and when we connected the ipod a message came up saying there was a software update available for the ipod so we downloaded the update. After we did that her ipod will charge when we connect it but it won't register that it's connected so we can't sync it. Sometimes an error message will pop up saying something about not being able to connect.
I have searched online and tried everything suggested but nothing works. I downloaded the latest itunes update, uninstalled and reinstalled itunes, tried a different usb cable and different usb port and non of that worked. I even hooked up my ipod nano to see if it was a computer issue or ipod issue, my ipod syncd perfectly fine so it's gotta be a problem with her ipod.
I've also restarted the ipod, nothing will get it to sync. The ipod will still work and I've thought about trying to sync it to our my laptop but if I do that then I risk her losing all of her music on her ipod and being stuck with mine if we can't get it to sync with her computer.
I'm all out of ideas, anyone encounter this problem? Also if I bring it into the Apple Store is there anything they can do to try and fix it?

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."

I am getting this warning when doing a deposit(credit card). I have never got this message before. Recently upgraded from 2007A SP0 PL47 to PL49.
Why am I getting this error? Usually credit card account should NOT be defined as a cash account. Why is it telling me that I require a cash account for a credit card deposit?
Steps to reproduce:
Banking > Deposits > Deposit
Select Credit card tab > Enter bank account and deferred payment account (both are accounts which are NOT marked as cash accounts).> Click on u2018Addu2019.
Get message: A cash account is required. Choosing a different account may cause inaccuracies in the cash flow report. Continue? Yes.

You need to use form fields. See the Acrobat help section and this site: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/
However, that last part (receiving an automatic response when a form is submitted) has nothing to do with Acrobat, or even with the PDF file. This is something you'll need to set up on your web (or email) server.

why the cleint will implement different sold to for the same customer rather than one sold to and differen ship to.
Ex:
Burger king : 1000 through out unites states.
scenario 1): 1000 different burger king sold-to
scenario 2): 1 sold -to and 1000 ship-to
I have seen both.
why? Please I want business need?

Dude...If the Company operates through Distributer model then he can have as many Ship to Parties attached to one Sold to Party....as he will not be bothered for the credit and other details of those Ship to...only the Sold To will be maintained & through Centralised Dynamic Credit check...also the Ship to Parties Can be the district/city level owners...and the Sold to Can be a Regional Party...i mean the Company must have chosen only one Sold to Party from every state...u can have hell lot of scenarios
The other scenario is a normal one...you can have end number of Sold to parties..with their Master Data...credit etc..in case of Retail chains..this model can is used

\What Causes Different Photo Sizes?

I have iphoto '09 version 8.1.2 (424).
My photos have vastly different file sizes. This is surprising since I am using the same camera. When I checked the info button, I noticed that the ones with more bytes have a bigger size. For example, a photo with 936 KBs shows a size of 1536 X 2048. Another one with 1.2 MBs shows the same size as the previous one - 1536 x 2048, even though it has more bytes. (Shouldn't these two fotos have different sizes since they have a much different number of bytes?)
But another photo which is 4.8 MBs, much more bytes than the previous two, shows a far bigger size of 4320 x 3240, about double the size of the previous two.
I'm not intentionally changing the size of photos. As a matter of fact, I don't even know how to do it. So what is causing different photos with the same camera to have different sizes? (I checked day photos versus night fotos but there was no pattern that would explain it).
