Hi i'm trying to set images to arrow through but can not get the images to just show one at a time.. this is what i have but when i add the images onto the code it just shows them all up on one page. someone please give me right code

There isn't a generic nikon raw. Each camera has its own raw format and the camera raw plugin has to be updated every time a new camera comes out. The D5300 requires ACR 8.3, which is only compatible with PSE 12. So you have three options:
1. Upgrade to PSE 12.
2. Use the nikon software to convert the files and send the converted images to PSE for any further editing.
3. Download the free Adobe DNG converter and use that to create dng files that your version of camera raw can understand.

Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.
Power cycling the router. Read the router's user manual or contact their tech support for instructions.
System Preferences/Internet & Network/Network
Unlock the padlock
Locations: Automatic
Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.

How to edit text in JPG image downloaded from Shutterstock? [was: help]

I downloaded a jpeg image from shutterstock.com to use for my baby shower invitation and was told that I would be able to erase the example text and add my own using adobe illustrator but having a hard time figuring this out. Please help.

You were mislead. Text in a flattened raster image (your JPEG) is essentially "burned in" and not editable or erasable in Illustrator. It is true that you could set type over (in front of) an image with Illustrator.
It may be possible to achieve the end result you want, but without seeing the image, it would be difficult to tell you how to proceed. Can you post a screenshot?

Looking for a Layout Set to display images one at a time

I have a folder with images and I would like to create a KM Navigation iView which displays only one picture at a time and an option to move forward and backward between the images. Which LayoutSet/ Collection Render should I Use/create in order to acheivi this?

HOW can I get my iTunes Libray MAIN WINDOW to show in LIST form (like before). NOW only shows an IMAGE GRID. HATE it. HELP please! THANKS!!

For the last 2 (maybe 3) updates iTunes has been showing my MUSIC LIBARY in a GRID of IMAGES with small caption below each image (usually an empty grey box, but occasionally tje front cover of album). It is a BIG waste of time to look at, go through and find any of my many hundreds of items.
I want / NEED "LIST VIEW" (or whatever it is called) back.
I have looked in SUPPORT / iTunes HELP / Preferences / ALL my menus - for ANY info on getting my LIST VIEW back.
Somebody PLEASE share with me HOW to get a LIST VIEW in the iTunes MAIN WINDOW (NOT the sidebar ...which is in a nice LIST foerm still thank God).
Going out of my mind on this one - and wasting LOTS of time, going through it.
Sure it's ALPHABETICAL (in an arbitrary fashion), but do they REALLY expect me to "REMEMBER" - or already know my choice - of what I am" looking for"?? Come on! I open iTunes, SEARCH through my (where'd it GO?) list and choose something that feels right for the moment. Most people do.
This IMAGE GRID just throws unnecessary obstruction into the experience and takes massive amounts of time to arrive at a selection (especially if it is not one of my first 40 albums (less than 10% of my libary). I want it gone - and a simple LIST VIEW back. ANY help VASTLY appreciated.

Saved jpg image has magenta hue in browser - help please

[running photoshop cs3 under windows XP Pro/SP2]
I've been saving jpg files for years with no problems. Now I have one that has me stumped!
I have a psd file with about 14 layers, a few of which are hidden. I merge layers and then save as a high-resolution jpg. I then open up the jpg in photoshop and it looks just fine.
However, when viewed directly from my pc in a browser (MSIE 7 or Firefox 3.0.3, either stand-alone or in an html shell), the image has a discernable dark magenta hue.
Originally, I mistakenly had an extra channel in the PSD file that I thought was causing the problem. But it's removed yet the problem remains.
Note: I also saved as a GIF and PNG and the problem remained.
I'm really stuck on this one. Help would be appreciated!

FOUND A SOLUTION - CHANGED ICC COLOR PROFILE
Well, folks, I've answered my own question. The problem *was* the ICC Color profile, contrary to what tech support told me in the past (and indeed tech support pretty much told me to go take a hike in the past).
I opened the PSD, then went to file->Edit-> Convert to profile and converted to profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1 and told not to merge layers. Then I saved as a jpg and the image was perfect.
Lesson learned (no thanks to Adobe Support): when importing video frames, change the ICC Profile!
Now for the biggest laugh of the day: he said (in case#180459305) that if you copy or rename files using the filesystem filemanager (e.g., the desktop or windows explorer), that it would open the file to copy or rename it and then rewrite it, thus cause lossy image degradation.
I told him (politely) that he was wrong - that renaming a file does not open it - it simply updates directory information about the file, and that copying a file (outside of photoshop) does a byte-for-byte clone of the file and does not degrade image quality.
Where do they get these purported "experts"????

Problems with the time setting. help please

i have the time set on my ipod touch by the city i live. the time will be right for a couple days, but then it becomes an hour behind. how does that happen or how can i make that not happen?
can anyone please help me?

I'm having same problem too. Has happened 3-4 times now. Can't figure out what causes the time to change to random time. At one point I thought it was caused by my leaving my calendar at a previous date or appointment, but really don't think so. I have a Verizon - iphone 5. I would think that the time would come from Verizon. Not Apple. But no one else is talking about it. Anyway, you're not alone )c: Turning it off and then back on is fine HOWEVER, last night it changed time to 2 or 3 hours EARLIER so my alarms were screwed up! I asked Siri "what time is it" and she must get her information from the iphone settings. So... she gave me the WRONG time also. Sad. 1st time it happened, it was actually Sunday 8:03 AM PST and iphone showed 11:38PM. This morning, not only was the time wrong, the date was last Tuesday, 9/26/12! Not funny when we all depend on our calendars and appointments that are set on each day. Other times, I just reset it and will wait for someone to fix the problem. I love the iphone 5 though! Nice and light (I'm a runner). It replaced a 4. Loved that one too, but new iOS6 is WAY FASTER! Love it to pieces!

Itunes Library on time capsule-Help please.

I read this can be done to free up some room. I made a copy of my music folder in time capsule, pointed to it with itunes, but the file paths in itunes do not change. I made sure my time capsule was mounted, held option, launched itunes, selected the itunes folder in my time capsule, & still had no luck. This was the main reason why i purchased the device. Can someone tell me how this is done?

I thought I had the solution; i created a new library folder on my TC, copied all my music files to the library in the itunes window. After copying one night and one day (which is strange, since all the files essentially already were placed on the TC, but anyway), I got an error warning saying that the copying had stopped because of a fault with file ". What this is, I dont know.
And besides that, half of the songs which were copied have the hated ! - symbol which means they cant be found...
It's so frustrating to have more than 25 gigabyte of music and not being able to play songs. Hopefully someone has a useful tip, because I'm starting to dislike Itunes. And I dont want that!

My screen moves around and I can't see the dock and the top use bar at the same time. Help, please.

I have an iBook G4. The images on the screen "fall off" the top and/or bottom. That is, I can't see the dock and top user bar at the same time.
The computer seems to automatically move the screen around as I use the cursor. I don't know how to fix the image so it just fits the boundaries of the screen. OS10.4.11. Thanks for any help you can give.

It sounds like maybe you've unintentionally activated the Zoom feature.
Try going to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing, and make sure that Zoom is turned off.

Cannot connect photosmart7520 to the web services. times out. help please?

Trying to connect to Web Services but times out. Configuration page suggests no internet connectivity although network modem/router is connected to the internet. Printer prints ok wirelessly through the network.

Let's set a static IP address and external DNS for the printer:
- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS. This is Google DNS. You can choose another external DNS if you wish.
- Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.

I was on iTunes on my iPhone and I accidentally pressed the download for the whole album! But I only want ONE song!! Of course it's one of those DJ songs where all 10 songs the same. ( who wants all of those) . Now my whole iTunes card is gone too! Please is there a way to fix this!! Ill never buy music on my phone again!

Actually most of the album is paused in my download box if that helps??

Help please time capsule help please!!!!

I just bought a 500gb time capsule I'm able to hook it up to my cable modem but it keeps saying no Internet connection on my Mac how can I get it to send out a connection to the rest of my devices??I got the Internet to work on just my computer but no signal in the rest of the house... I Youtubed it but for some reason it doesn't do what there macs do... I'm running on os x lion please help me with a walk tru I'm not tech savvy but trying to get familiar with apple products!!! Thank you

Firstly reset the TC to factory.. hold down the reset for about 10sec until the front led flashes rapidly.
Then turn off everything computer or network in your house... the cable modem in particular needs to be turned off.. this can be hard if it is battery backup model. Tell us more if it is more than pure modem. ie if it is a router you should bridge the TC.
Connect the TC to the modem by ethernet.. nothing else should be connected to the modem.. connect to the TC WAN port.. ie the one next to usb.
Turn on in order after 15min (you can try 5min.. but it might take longer).
Modem.. wait 2min
TC.. wait 2min
Other network devices.. eg switch, if you have them.
Client computers etc.
The TC should get the public ip on the wan interface.
If it fails try again and leave off longer time.

Time stretch help please. These manuals are a PITA..

Well first a minor rant about the documentation with Logic Pro 7, for some reason no matter what task I need to perform I look into the reference guide and the plugin reference which are the two main books supplied with this application and all these books do is lightly discuss the the function of what you are researching.
As an example time stretching, I looked in the manual and then did a search for the online resource while in logic for the work time stretch, so it covers the details and explains that this function can be performed from the arrange window which is what I am trying to accomplish since I am working with a look and do not know its BPM, I would just like to strecth it down by bars/beats and make things fit.
I actually stumbled onto this once, but whern I try and review how to actually do this in the manual all I get it some very vague info that it can be done, unfortunately it just does not say how lol...
Am I missing something here? am I not looking in the right manual? I remeber way back before I moved to Nuendo I used to be in LAP 3 and the massive documentation actually told you how to perform the task your looking to do.
So I guess this is a two part question hehe.
1. How the heck do I perform this form the arrange window.
and
2. Am I just blkind and not looking at the right documentation here?
Thanks for your time and understanding, I just feel like a deer in headlights. Its like I know what the task is I am trying to accomplish and when I go to RTM I get just some info about that Logic can perform this function.
Maybe the manual expects you to have previous version knowledge.

I'm sure if and when the OP has a problem with the sound of the algorithms in logic, he'll say so. for now, all the questioning has been about how to get a technique going where you can get your audio to the tempo you need it quickly and effectively in logic. we all know other apps like cubase and nuendo have more intuitive ways to do this right in the arrange window, but you can get a decent workflow going in logic as well. I don't have the time to get into it now but will try to post tomorrow.
I read that some suggest that its wise to buy a 3rd party pluggin like Izotopes?
3rd party add ons like izotope or serato aren't going to help you in terms of the way you use timestretching in logic... they don't add any functionality to the arrange window to make it easier to drag a region to stretch it like in cubase or anything like that. what they add is additional timestretching algorithms to logic that sound a whole lot better, but the way you actually access it in logic remains the same. I've not heard the izotope one, but I've used serato a lot in protools and it's one of the best I've heard, certainly better than the logic ones.
anyway as I said earlier I'll try and post tomorrow with some of my technique. I've done a lot of remixing in logic so I've had to do quite a bit of timestretching.
to be honest though, I really think sonther's post about the BPM counter plug in is the best way to get started. it sounds like you're used to just being able to grab the edge of a region and either stretch it longer or squeeze it shorter (in a different app obviously) and have the timestretch happen there and then.. and just do this until you got it sounding right. this way you don't ever really need to know the actual BPM of your original loop cos you can just drag it till it 'works'. sadly I don't think there's anything this simple in logic's arrange window to do it like this. but using the BPM counter, once you know the loop's BPM, you can just double click on it to open the sample editor window, open the time machine, type in the original tempo and the destination tempo in the corresponding fields, choose an algorithm that's appropriate and process it.
another idea you could try is the 'adjust region length to locators' function. say your audio is a 4 bar loop, and it perfectly loops at it's original tempo. so try putting it at the start of a bar, then drag a cycle region from the start of that bar to the end of 4 bars. the loop region should be either longer than the cycle or shorter (depending on if it's faster than your tempo or slower). select it, then use the function 'adjust region length to locators' (it's somewhere in the arrange window submenu, maybe under 'region', am not in front of logic now), making sure you selected an appropriate algorithm from the same menu. so now the loop will be timestretched or timesquished to fit to exactly that 4 bar length, meaning that it should now loop correctly, at the song tempo, over those 4 bars.
I have more technique I use if you're interested in hearing more, let me know as I haven't the time to go into it now. btw, if you use loops a lot and need to be able to control the groove and feel of audio files often for the music you make.. you should look at melodyne. there's an AU plug in version now that works very well in logic. I use it all the time.. most people know it as a pitch correction thing and just think of autotune when they think of it.. but it is an absolutely awesome tool for working with percussion and loops as well.
as a matter of fact, melodyne plug in could be just what you need. it gives you total control of the timing of audio, so you can regroove anything, shift stuff around, quantize the audio, and your loops will follow tempo once they've been melodyned. I used it recently on a project that had lots of badly played percussion loops that were sloppy and loose. fixed everything in no time, while keeping the groove. and in the bargain it sounds better than the timestretching algorithms in logic too.

How to get background image in cell not to repeat help please.

i want to fill a cell with a background image and not have
the image repeat if the cell is resized by a viewer by enlarging
the text. (Previously i jsut used CSS to control the text, so it
couldn't be rezied, but now it seems that firefox ignores the CSS).
ANyway i would like people not to be able to resize the cell and
the background not to repeat.
Here is an example that when the text is resized the
background image and cell saty the same but a scroll bar appears
for the text.
