Disable Fancybox lightbox on mobile devices.

Searched a bit on Google but not much information returned.
I have an image gallery using Fancybox BUT would like to disable it (and the links on the gallery images) once the device browser is narrow enough.
Anyone found a slick way of doing this?
Maybe Fancybox has something inbuilt?

Maybe turn off the entire fancybox gallery's container and turn on a simplified gallery container when the screen hits the right size.
Hi Jon,
I did think along those lines but really wanted to find a more steamlined solution, which I think the jQuery option may provide if not then I may have to have a re-think and deploy an alternative gallery, as you suggest, with fewer images.
Thanks for your input.
Is it just me constantly coming up against problems which you just cannot see until they hit you smack in the face or is this happening to everyone else.
I'm going to have to triple my quotes in future!

  • How to disable Create Order in Mobile Device

    Hi All,
How to disable create order in the mobile device. We implemented MAM3.0 scenario, we just wanted to maintain Edit Order, Display Order in the Order Management. We don't want Create Order functionality in the mobile device. How can we achieve this?
    Please through some light.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi,
You can find all relevant enhancement documents for MAM30 at:
http://service.sap.com -> Under Sap support portal -> software download ->Sap Installations And Upgrades -> Installation and Upgrade guides ->SAP xApps -> SAP xApps for Mobile Business -> SAP xMAM -> There you can find for both xMAM 3.0 (For NW 04 and 04s).
You can see the Enhancemnt guide for Frontend for more details.
    Hope this helps.

  • Option to disable volume normalisation on mobile devices

This is a very simple feature request to complete and would make a big difference to my Spotify experience. At home I listen to music on a decent high fidelity sound system and do not have my laptop with me most evenings. I AirPlay music from my iPad to an Apple TV connected to my receiver and I cannot switch off volume normalisation on the iPad app.
I understand why volume normalisation is there by default for mobile devices, but in this context, I would like to experience the full dynamic range of the music. On a nice sound system, volume normalisation sounds horrible. The option is already there to disable it on the Mac app so I would like to see a similar feature added to the iPad app.

II have been noticing something similar throughout my time listening to Spotify premium on my ipad / iphone. I thought there was something wrong, though, when I decided to listen to the Interstellar soundtrack on my devices. It's my favourite soundtrack and unfortunately is utterly ruined by Spotify's normalisation.  I pretty much never listen to music on my computer any more and I would suggest taat this is n exponntially growing trend. WWhilst a lot of Spotify users may be more into their Taylor Swift's or Kanye West's, those of us who are certainly a sizable number, but silen, would really get a lot out of this feature being an on/off switch. It wouldn't be difficult to implement either. To appreciate this yourselves, here's the link to the first track on the album. • Wipe a mobile device before disabling a user

Has anyone tried to tackle the issue of remote wiping ActiveSync devices before disabling a user account with FIM?
We have an issue when we terminate a user and disable the account and we reset the password for good measure, the phone will not receive a remote wipe command since that user on that phone will no longer authenticate.
Curious if anyone has thought of a work around or some solution to wipe mobile devices.  Short of an MDM that will do this via an installed app on the phone.

Perhaps you can either use the PoSh MA or the PoSh workflow task to send the
    Clear-MobileDevice command to Exchange.

  • I disabled "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" in Windows

I did this because my device wasn't charging and I was trying (still am trying) to solve that problem.
But once I disabled the "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" under the Device Manager the device didn't dhwo up with an "X" next to it it just went away. And now when I plug in ipods it will not show up at all!
I even booted into safe mode expecting to see more drivers there and I still didn't see the apple one to re-enable it. I should have deleted it then it would have just come back on a re-boot!
    Anyone have any suggestions?

Re-installing the apple mobile device support under add and remove programs fixed this issue. Found this after many iTunes re-installs.
Still have a charging issue. I will post that in a different message.

  • Disabled User, Mobile-Device (Active Sync) still has Access 24h after disabling Account

    Hello,
    i encountered following issue:
I disabled an User in AD, but the mobile devices of the corresponding User still had access even 24h after disabling the account (iphone 5s, Blackberry Q10). My predecessor was known to abuse some access rights (suspicious gpos, phantom users with way to
    many rights, private folder access...).
    Our System: Windows 2008 R2 + Exchange 2010 SP3
Are there any hidden settings (in Exchange powershell, ADSI-Settings etc...) to extend the access-validity of mobile devices?
Or is this a normal behaviour?
    Thank you and best regards,
    Georg

The best way to stop a user from accessing their email via a mobile device when the account is going to be disabled is to go to their account and remove Active Sync from their mailbox.  To do so, go to Recipient Configuration, Mailboxes, properties
of the user, Mailbox Features and disable Exchange ActiveSync.  then disable the user.  Force Active Directory replication as well. Then the disabled user should no longer have access.   You can even remove device partnerships or wipe their
    device as well.

    Hi

I have try to reinstall the drivers from c:\progamfiles\common files\apple\... but the problem persist. Could you help anyone about this ?

You need to completely uninstall iTunes from your computer and then download and install it again.
You do know that Microsoft has a web site, right?

  • Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. and 'iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)

    Hi!
So i think i closed the wrong service at some point a few weeks back (apple mobile device) but iTunes remained working after that for another week. I then updated iTunes and i get the same  "Service ‘Apple Mobile Device’ (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services." every time. If i click ignore, just so i can access iTunes with out syncing my iPod (touch 2nd gen) i then get 'iTunes was not installed correctly. Please re-install iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 193)" when it has all installed. I don't understand what the problem is anymore as I have looked at other questions on the apple website, carried out the advice and it hasn't work. Any of them.
    Tings I have done:
    - Wiped all iTunes and Apple data from my computer (if you search for 'iTunes' or 'Apple' nothing comes up apart from applets from system code.
    - Attached iPod before iTunes install and updated drivers.
    - Installed iTunes as 'Run as administrator'
    - Uninstalled and re-installed the software nearly 20 times now and rebooted the computer in between everytime.
Please someone help because i really need to get music on my ipod and i enjoy the ease of use of iTunes compared to spotify or Windows Media Player.

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
Regarding AMDS failures there is a hint in another thread that disabling the Windows Firewall before attempting to reinstall may help, otherwise take a look at the steps outlined in this post. Re: Can't install iTunes 12.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. I know they look a little daunting, but the process of generating the logs themselves isn't that hard to do. Extracting useful information from them is still a challenge but maybe something will leap out. If you want to post the log for the failed components for me to have a look at here or in the other thread please edit out any personal information, particularly your email address, first.

  • HT1926 Routine update of iTunes failed. Eventually had to uninstall and reinstall iTunes x2. Installation failed with message 'Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.

    Hi,
When I tried to install iTunes update this failed, then tried to uninstall and reinstall itunes twice. Failed again. Could not open iTunes. I use an HP PC. Even tried to disable Macafee firewall, still itunes failed to install. Please help!!

Followed these instructions with a few changes. (Windows 7 x64)
Uninstalled programs in the following order:
    - Itunes
    - Apple Application Support
    - Apple Software Update
    - Bonjour
    - Apple Mobile Device Support (uninstall failed due to Apple Mobile Device failure)***
    - Restarted System
    - Redownloaded Itunes from website.
    - Run installer as Administratot
    - Succefully installed
***To uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support
    - Right clicked on Apple Mobile Device Support, Clicked Charge (second option), Repair, Next (failed to repari)
    - Right clicked the Apple Mobile Device Support in the Programs and Features window and clicked Repair (third option in drop down list). (repaired successfully)
    - Uninstall successful after the repair.
Below is a guess at a quicker solution:
Looking at the uninstalls, it may be worth trying to repair the Apple Mobile Device Support through the Program and Features window before trying to uninstall everything.  It may be a faster fix for the freezing service.  After the repair is successful the itunes update may work.
    Hope this helps.

  • Mobile Device Helper has stopped working

I have just purchased an iPhone 3Gs, I have the lastest version of iTunes (9.1) and am operating on 32-bit Windows Vista using an Acer laptop.
First, the iPhone was not recognised - so re-installed iTunes, downloaded Service Pack 2 for vista, reinstalled iTunes. Did't work. Finally found a forum that lead me to delete a problem file for Acer laptops (can't remember its name now) but then my iPhone was now recognised!
Secondly, tried to sync my windows contacts (all my old contacta list from old phone) then had syncing problems..through more forums that error message stopped but now I have a new one that I can't get past...
'Mobile Device Helped has stopped working' comes up repeatedly and will not let me to anything with iTunes as it freezes until I end task in Task manager.
I have looked into other forums that talk of deleting the Apple Mobile Device, but it doesn't seem to me to be the rigt decision as the majority of people have just had to reinstall iTunes as it wont recognise the phone without the file.
It seems that the new iTunes doesn't like Windows Vista.
Please can anyone help me get past this point before I lose the will to live!! (it's been over 5hours now!!!!)
    Thanks

    Sort of the same issue.
    Windows Vista 64bit Home Premium.
I just launched iTunes for the first time after installing 9.1. When I connected my iPhone, iTunes told me that I needed to install a newer version of Apple Mobile Device, which entailed removing/reinstalling iTunes and AMD. I remember there being an order to which applications should be removed, so I did that, but got stuck at AMD. I wasn't able to remove it. There was no error message, it just automatically rolled back the uninstall process and quit. I did some research and saw someone recommend using the Windows Install Cleanup Utility. I used that to remove AMD, and it worked. Next on the list was Apple Application Support (?), which also could not be uninstalled by normal means. So I used WIC on that as well. iTunes, Bonjour, Quicktime, and Apple Software update I was able to remove via the Control Panel. I rebooted, reinstalled iTunes, and when it began the install process for AMD I got this message:
    "Could not open key:
Unknown\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8\3F55235DF871F046A8F862841205 6EF. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel."
Got the same message for Apple Application Support. As a result, neither was installed.
Prior to doing any of this, I had disabled AMD in Services, which didn't help. I have since re-enabled it, and it is still running in Services, although it does not show up in the list on programs to uninstall.
After all this, I read in another forum that simply doing a Repair on AMD would solve the problem, but since I am unable to reinstall it, I cannot test it out.

  • IPod nano 4th gen - Apple Mobile Device Driver issue

I have an iPod Touch that connects and syncs perfectly with iTunes but I can't find any way of doing the same with my wife's iPod Nano(4th gen).
Whenever I connect the nano it appears under Universal Serial Bus Controllers as Apple Mobile Device USB Driver but with the dreaded Yellow Exclamation mark.
    I've tried:
    The 5Rs
    Different cables
    Different ports
    Disabling drivers
    Uninstalling drivers
Removing all Apple software (in the correct order) and reinstalling
The only error message I get, other than the Exclamation Mark, is when I check the Driver Properties, it shows "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
If I click on Properties, Driver and Update Driver, Install from specific location I see:
Apple iPod USB Driver Version 6.0.9999.40 (12/11/2008) and
Apple iPod USB Driver Version 6.0.9999.61 (11/05/2012) and
    USB Mass Storage Device
Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what I can try?

The code 10 might be caused by old driver componentry "stuck" in the bowels of your OS. If that's what is going on, we might be able to get past this ... but I'm afraid it's a bit of a performance.
First, go into "My Computer". Go "Tools > Folder Options". Go to the view tab.
Make sure "Show hidden files and folders" is selected.
Make sure "Hide extensions for known filetypes" is unchecked.
Make sure "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)" is unchecked.
    Click OK.
Now in "My Computer", open "Local Disk C:" or whichever drive your Operating System is installed on.
    Open the "Windows" folder.
    Open the "system32" folder.
    Open the "DRVSTORE" folder.
In there look to see if you have either of the following two folders:
    netaapl_(LongStringOfNumbers)
    usbaapl_(LongStringOfNumbers)
If you find either of them, drag them out onto the desktop. (Don't touch any other files or folders you see in there.)
Now go back into the "system32" directory.
    Open the "Drivers" directory.
Look for either of the following two files:
    netaapl.sys
    usbaapl.sys
If you see either of them in there, drag them out onto the desktop. (Again, don't touch any other files or folders you see in there.)
Now restart the PC. Try a complete uninstall/reinstall of itunes and related components as per the following document:
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
... and then try connecting the nano again. Any better luck this time?
