Disappointed by TNT's delivery service

Am really disappointed by TNT’s delivery service today. Don’t know what was the deliveryman hesitate about on making a mobile call to inform his customer and TNT seems to have lots different excuses(bad attitude and bad internal synchronization too) each time I phone their customer service. The parcel was not delivered according to mentioned rules(the deliveryman didn't hand the parcel to me himself and just dropped it off at some random reception…, I thought customer’s signature is required). I had to look everywhere in the office building for my parcel; although I managed to find my parcel in the end but the flawed delivery experience is definitely ruining my experience with Apple online store.

It's too bad you have had a bad experience, my Lumia doesn't have any of these issues.

  • Delivery Service reporting

    Hi all,
I need to create a report on delivery service and if orders are delivered are on time or not. There is BI content for delivery service and measures for perfect orders, but the BI content compare only with the requested delivery date and the last confirmed date.
The confirmed date on the schedule lines will change when ECC (ATP process) update the order and overwrites the previous confirmed delivery date. The customer is not informed about these updates, hence the last confirmed date is not that good to compare with.
I would like to compare the actual delivery date with what has been promised to the customer.
    Thanks,
    Christina

    hi Mark,
from what I understand about cr 4 hana, lumira server is comparable to infoview in that it is the report viewing portal. so it seems that a lumira server installation would be a requirement in order to view the reports in a browser.
    here are the deployment requirements:
    CR for HANA -Add-on Server
    •Crystal Reports Reporting Service
    •OS: Linux SUSE 11 SP1
    Minimum Hardware Requirement:
    •Memory: 12 GB RAM
•CPU performance of at least 8000 SAPS (Quad Core approximately)
    •Disk Space: 11 GB
    HANA and Lumira–Server
    •HANA SP08
    •Lumira Server 1.17
    Crystal Reports for Enterprise –Designer
    •Crystal Reports for Enterprise designer (BI4.1 SP04)
    •OS: Windows Desktop (7 -8.1)
    Minimum Hardware Requirement:
    •Memory: 2 GB RAM
    •CPU: Dual Core CPU
    •Disk space: 3.5 GB
you can also have desktop reporting off of hana or browser based / infoview (businessobjects enterprise or cr server) using cr2011 or cr2013 etc. in conjunction with a hana client installation. you would be able to use your sps07 system for this.

I am soooo disappointed with the apple customer service at the local store in Tampa......every time they give u an appointment and make people wait for hours......there was some cosmetic problems with the screen of my Mac book pro....they replaced it but the computer would not turn on....and btw when I went to pick up my computer the representative handover my computer to another guy without checking his id who was there to pick up his phone.......then I had to take it back second time this time they messed up my iWork...I took it back but they couldn't retrieve my history of purchase of iWork...and then when I installed the iWork at home...none of the applications is working.... .I will have to take is back fourth time.....I loved apple products but may be not anymore.......

Other than what Shotist007's remarks (which solves nothing) your experience is not common. First I would speak to the store manager to get things rectified for you. If that doesn't work out then I would contact AppleCare and speak to a customer service representative and complain via that venue.

When you buy an iPhone in the U.S. it's locked to that country with the carrier you bought it for.
If you bought the device unlocked in the U.S. it's unlocked, you can use it on any carrier. Even one's outside the country.
If you want to do a repair on a device you bought in the U.S. and your using it in another country, you must send it back to the U.S. Why? That's where you bought it from.
AppleCare Protection Plans and AppleCare Limited Warranties are registered to your hardware.
    Your hardware is your iPhone.
Wherever hardware that was bought then that's the country it was designed to be used in and that's where it was manufactured.
Apple is very localized - if you call U.S. tech support, you'll speak to somone in your country.
So, what does all this mean?
In order to do a repair, you need to send it back to the country you got it from.
And we're all customers like you. We understand that you're upset, but Apple isn't gonna bend the rules to one individual.
Policy is policy. Get over it.

  • Delivery service level

    Hi,
I need a report concerning our Delivery service level (vendor self evaluation). Somebody knows if there is a standard report?.
The report must contain sales order with quantities, dates, sku, and its respective delivery with quantities and dates.
    Regards
    jtrigo

    Hi,
When u creates sales order, system reserve material in c u r case
    ABC = Today + 2 days
    xyz = today + 5 days
Now another order come for same material then system automatically gives u next date if material is not availabe
    ABC = Today + 4 days
    XYZ = Today + 10 days
But if u have stock then this will not give u further dates,it will confirm as early as possible.

  • Its my first time buying apple product from online, I'm from Sarawak, Malaysia, i would like to know what type of post/delivery service will be used to deliver the product i ordered to my house address.

HI, its my first time buying apple product from online, I'm from Sarawak, Malaysia, i would like to know what type of post/delivery service will be used to deliver the product i ordered to my house address.

iPhones, iPads, iPods are dispatched from China.  Apple accessories are dispatched from Singapore.  The carrier is FedEx.
Online purchases could be delivered to office addresses or home addresses.  Track your item through the email sent by Apple.  If necessary,  you could change the delivery address to your office one.

  • Content Delivery Service

I keep getting a message on my Idea K1 that I should Force Close the Content delivery service. Dont know why this is happening. Would appreciate any help in this respect
    Ross

By reboot, I mean pressing the power button until it powers down, then once more to power it up again. Like turning a desktop off and on again.
A Google search suggests that "Content delivery Service" belongs to the process "com.mobihand.cds", which is the functionality behind the "Lenovo App Shop" app. (It apparently runs in the background, even if you never use the Lenovo App Shop.) This app is indeed built in, so restarting should reload a fresh copy of it.
Going back to factory settings might be a next step, if the above doesn't work, BUT you will lose any data you haven't backed up.
The Lenovo App Shop is either closed or will close very soon, so I don't know what else to suggest.

  • Virus on UPS delivery service

Anyone have any knowledge of an email virus infecting the UPS parcel delivery service. Expecting a UPS parcel I received an email which I opened. When I checked with EPS I was warned not to open the email as it contained a virus. To late. The email came via my Yahoo email address. Anyone any ideas if this virus effects Macs, not sure what to do next if anything. If I have posted in the wrong forum please advise and I will repost.
    Mike

I will give you the boilerplate on this: There are no known viruses for Macs. If this is a virus, you would be the first. (There is malware, such as Trojans--those you have to be tricked into downloading and installing with your password--but no viruses.) This won't affect your Mac; if it is, indeed, a virus, it's meant for PC/Windows. The warning, if genuine, was meant for PC users.
If you don't want to pass this on to anyone with a PC, you can run ClamXav, which will detect and isolate it. But as for your Mac, 99.99999% certain you have nothing to worry about.
But make sure you check the oil level on the VW

  • My extremely disappointing experience with Apple's service

I have been a loyal customer of Apple since the first iPhone, however, my recent experiences have started to make me reconsider that relationship.
    Here's what happened:
I am living in Asia now and as an avid apple fan, I bought an Iphone plus 64gb in Hong Kong as soon as it came out. I was told that it had a one year warranty and it would be effective in Mainland as well. Just as luck would have it, two days after I started using the phone, the camera started to fail. I could not longer take pictures. Since I am in Shanghai now and the phone was purchased in Hong Kong around a week and half before the official release in China on 10/17, I started to call customer service and try to make the earliest reservation that I can at the Genius Bar so that I can get my phone fixed.
I first called apple and was told that I had to make the reservation online. However, the website was a mess. Every time I clicked on the genius bar link to make a reservation, it jumped to the retail store page. I called customer service and asked what was going on and was told that they could get on and it was weird that I couldn't get on, it must be because my internet was slow and that I should try to get on the site at a different location. Which didn't make sense, because my internet was plenty fast, and I tried getting on in another location already. I don't know what hit me, but while on the phone with the represetative, I thought that maybe I should try turning on my VPN, which routes my internet to a different country and what do you know? I was able to make a reservation! I asked the the representative why that was, and the representative accused me of asking if Apple had blocked access from Mainland China to make a reservation. I thought it was extremely unprofessional of her to have asked that. Anyway, after figuring out how to make a reservation online, I tried for about a week to make a reservation through the official channel and it's always full. I called customer service again and wanted to know if there was a different way that I could make a reservation and was told that the only thing I could do was to keep trying online....and that I would be lucky if I could make a reservation within a month, because it's always full! -- What ********!
With no other way, I went to the East Nanjing Rd. Store in Shanghai. It was super croweded. I found an Apple staff and explained my situation and was again told the beauracratic answer of having to go online to make a reservation first! My impression of Apple's image as making excellent products and always putting customers first fell over the cliff! I demanded to see a store manager and was offered TWO non-solutions. One: go to an Apple affliated store to get my phone checked out, but was told that I needed to show them my receipt. I told them that Hong Kong doesn't give receipts and again the staff told me that I should just go and try my luck, just wanting to get rid of me. I suggested that they had a staff either go with me or call a store and tell them of my situation, but the manager refused. TWO: I should keep on trying to make a reservation online. I suggested that maybe he could help me make a reservation, so that at least I could have a date of appointment. Again he refused and told me to just keep on trying to make a reservation online myself.
By this point, I was a little flustered and angry. The manager's name is Jevan Wan, and his attitude was very pompus and was giving me the impression that that's the way Apple did thing and either do it this way or eff off. He told me that if I didn't like it, I could call the police and in fact he said that he would call the police for me. By that time, I was super angry and he tried to have the security guards throw me out saying that I was already unwelcome.
I went in expecting professional, world class service, but instead what I got was staff who was pompus, beaucraftic and full of attitude. They didn't give the slight thought of putting customer first and trying to help customers solve a frustating problem.
It is truly disappointing that Apple has fallen so low... it seems to me now that Apple only cares about selling more phones and making more money. Putting money in to maintaining good customer and product service is no longer a priority much less the level of employee professionalism!
My email is: *****  if Apple decides this warrants a response!

If you want a response from Apple, you will need to contact them. This is a user-to-user technical support forum. Apple doesn't read these posts. Use the Contact Us link at the bottom right of every page for information on how to do that.
You seem to recognize that the store was very busy yet that doesn't seem to translate into understanding that it will be difficult to get an appointment. Should you be moved to the head of the line by the manager because you are some how a more loyal customer than the people who have already made appointments? Does it make sense that a store that's so busy you are having difficulty getting an appointment should send an employee with you to an authorized reseller? Contact AppleCare and make arrangements to have your phone sent in for repair.

  • I am VERY disappointed with Verizon FIOS and service

I was a contented Comcast customer for years.  Then FIOS came around with "an offer I couldn't refuse".  Now it turns out I should have.  In the past few months there have been two major problems with On Demand.  First, all the HD programs On Demand disappear for months.  Now, On Demand will not save my place.  If I exit a program/movie or if I pause it and it times out, I have to start from the beginning.  A real pain if I'm an hour into something.  I called and was told they knew about it and it would probably be fixed the next time an update was applies which was "every few months".
What the heck!  No wonder it took so long for the HD to come back.  They only do updates every few months, even if there's a major problem.
Add to this the fact that I have to wait on hold ten to fifteen minutes any time I call for support.  This NEVER happened to me with Comcast.
    I really am disappointed.

I agree ... their customer service has gone down the toilet to boot. Have you found an email address for customer service(?) as their live chat to india is useless. I often wonder if they money they save is equal to the customers they lose?? every email & text update i get from them is also in spanish which is like salt to my wounds...

  • Very disappointed in Verizon Wireless customer service

I have been a Verizon customer for about 10 years.  The customer service is now the worst it has ever been.  I have an upgrade due and i wish to bill my account.  They say I cannot because my account was past due ONE time in the past six months. Past due for probably around 10 days.  They say this is the reason why.  When I point out to them that this is not their policy they do not care,  they refuse to let me bill it.  Their policy on their own FAQ clearly states:
What determines if I’m eligible for the bill to account option?
The following requirements are used to determine bill to account eligibility:
You must have a standard monthly account* for at least six months.
The maximum amount that can be billed to an account per bill cycle is $400, and the transaction can’t exceed this limit for your current bill cycle.
Note: The limit includes pending and recent transactions billed to your account by phone, online or in-store during your current bill cycle, For example, if you purchased a $100 item in-store and billed it to your account earlier in your bill cycle, your online bill to account transaction can’t exceed $300.
Your account must maintain a good payment history. (YES)
The account can’t have been interrupted for non-payment within the last six months. (IT HAS NOT BEEN)
The account can’t be more than $24.99 past due. (IT IS NOT)
The account must be permitted to make payments online. (IT IS)
Your account can’t currently have a security deposit. (I DO NOT)
The phones on your account can’t be interrupted for suspected fraudulent activity. (NOPE)
You must be the Account Owner or an Account Manager in My Verizon and process your transaction from the Upgrade Device page.
No where does it state what they have told me.  I have a good payment history, I have not been interrupted, I owe no money.  As far as
I am concerned I qualify just fine but they refuse.
At this point its the princible of it, Would I like to upgrade?  Sure!  But I wont, just based on the fact that I should be able to bill
it to my account and they refuse.
My contract is up in November,  I will cancel and i will go to another carrier because basically the customer service and their
refusal to abide by their policy and correct this has completely turned me off.

The good payment history, as Ann154 states, means payment on time monthly. Instead of voiding a customer's "good payment history" for a late payment six years ago, for example, they instead limit it to the past six months. And the six months to wait for good payment history to be restored begins on the day the late payment was made. The policy might not suit what you want, but VZW is adhering to the guidelines with every customer. Telephone agents aren't able to change bill to account status, either.

  • Really Disappointed with the Customer Care Services

    Hi,
I had purchased a new Lenovo laptop G500(S) on 8.Nov.2013.
Just after 10 days it stopped working and didn’t start at all with or without battery.
I thought it’s a charging problem, so called customer care and they sent a technician for diagnosing the issue.
He gave a report and mentioned to replace the adapter, I got the new adapter within 3 days but the problem was still there.
Surprisingly, I did not get any call after delivery of adapter from Lenovo whether the issue is resolved or not L.
Finally I called the customer care again and explained everything, they concluded that they are sending new motherboard.
I requested them to replace the laptop itself as it’s not even a month and if there is a problem in motherboard that means the laptop is defective.
They gave me a new number saying that they don’t handle such requests and I have to call lencare.
I called at new number, my call was kept on hold for almost an hour and suddenly the phone got disconnected.
I also use another laptop of different brand and it happens with them too, but in such cases they arrange a call back for me if their customer executives are so busy.
Surprisingly, I waited for 2 days an didn’t  get any call back from Lenovo.
I tried lencare number again and again but same thing happened that they put me on hold for 1 hour and phone got disconnected.
Finally I called the earlier customer care number, and they gave the same reply that your laptop will be replace without any problem but we can’t take this request.
This time they gave me an email address [email protected], but again no reply from them even after sending the reminder email.
Let me know if you can help.
