Dispalying Checkboxes in the Tabsprit using BSP
Hello Everyone,
Could you please help me that I have just created a tabstrip with group of checkboxes. I am getting tabtrip in the explorer but I am not getting this checkboxes in it.
How to do it could any one help me out.
With Best regards,
Suneetha
two problems in the code.
1.
<htmlb:tabStripItem id = "tabstripitem1"
index = "3"
title = "SAP Products "
tooltip = "SAP Products und Module angeben" >
you have only one tabstrip item , however you mentioned index 3 which is causing problem. change it to 1 you will now see the check boxes.
2. other problem - not related to this .
<htmlb:label for = "Benutzte SAP Produkte"
required = " "
text = "Produkte"/>
</td>
<td Valign="top">
<htmlb:checkbox id = "ERPCO"
checked ="<%=Z_SAPProducts-ERPCO%>"
text = "ECC / R/3"
/>
htmlb:label for attribute should be referring to another UI element id
exmaple you could link into to check box id ERPCO
in that case label for = "ERPCO"

So you call up an account in email
Account Information is selecgted in the 3-choice menu-bar/button (what is that thing called, anyway? An "inspector"? (frown).
Then check "enable this account"--is selectable
Then Account type: iCloud IMAP or example--this is NOT selectable.
Then "Description field" What's it for, where does it show up, especially if it shows up in other "related" or "integrated" programs?
Alias popup: What's this for? How do you use it. What approaches, strategies, effects might one employ?
Email address is pretty straight forward--but see "user.name" in the "server sub-box/sub-pane" below.
Full Name: What full name? Where does it appear in use? I cannot access it from the pane/panel, so how do I set it, or who/what sets it?
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): OK, here's a popup that isn't congruent with "account type" in the first sub-pane. Or is IMAP only an extroverted function/setting, and (SMTP) is a introverted one (IMAP for outbound, SMTP for inbound)?
Now comes Confusion: Outgoing Mail Server popup menu, which leads you off to a wholenother pane that lets you create new/delete old incoming server names.
There's a Description (what's that for, what does it do? Ditto Server name--I get than's something like smtp.ISP.Com or IMAP.ISP.com). You can set those fields in the + menu Account Information Pane, with its blank text fields. And you can also "double-click to enter" that field in the list itself. Why is that?And then I can select Advanced, and get another batch of checkboxes, fields, and popups.
But I left the Account Information pane before asking, What is this Thread-Lock Stitching Certificate thing? (Or is that Transport Layer Secrecy Sertificate, what? None is displaying now, but if I popup what's beneath it a humongously long "ID" string, which I take to be, what, my Apple ID? A public key/ provate key encryption string/key? How do I use it if I'm trying to keep the National Surveillance Agency from eavesdropping, "in the clear," my every blessed keystroke, "phrase-stroke" (think VoIP), and if I use the thing, can the president just press a button and send a drone to blow me off the planet (and anyone near me at the time--always great fun for friends and family)?
And never mind router and FiOS, etc., modem settings. and the Network settings outside of email....
I guess my bottom line is, the user is presented with a rich smorgasbord of significant choices by all of the panes and panels, etc., on the mac, iMac, iPad-Phone-Watch real soon now, mac pro, macbook pro, etc. But the specific description of the proper use of these description/instruction on their use and function is impoverished. I think manuals used to handle some of these issues. But where are the manuals? Or am I just so overwhelmed by the complexity of what was once a simple user interface that I can't see pointers (in light grey type on lighter grey backgrounds--what the heck is wrong with black type, I'd like to know!) staring me in the phiz. Oh, help.Hi Cff7dxp,

what are the classes used for bropdownListBox in BSP and purpose and how
thank you,

Jagrut BharatKumar ShuklaBenje001,
Right-click on the CWAI control on your form. Choose Properties. The first tab is the Channels tab. After you choose your device from the drop down box on the right, you can type in the Channels box which channel you want to use.
If you want to see a CWAI control that is already configured, all of the shipping examples will have this already done.
Also, if you have questions about any item on the CWAI (or any other NI ActiveX control) you can click the ? icon in the right corner of the properties page and then click on the item in the dialog that you need help with. This "What's this" help will describe that particular control on the dialog.
Hope that helps!

Problem in following the webblog "Using TimeStamps: BSP Extensions"
I try to follow the webblog "Using TimeStamps: BSP Extensions for a TimeStamp UI."
However, after I have created the method 'RESOLVE_MODEL_BINDING' and compiled it, it shows me an error message

This is some part of that code.
model = m_page_context->get_model( model_name ).
name = model->get_attribute_name( attribute_path = value_path ).
valuelow = model->get_attribute( attribute_path = value_path ).
IF id IS INITIAL.
id = name.
ENDIF.
IF disabled IS INITIAL.
bspmodel ?= model.
bspmodel->add_to_check_table( control_id = name ).
ENDIF.I defined the bspmodel above the if block like the tutorial code.

I further looked into the interface <b>if_bsp_model</b> in my system. It doesn't include any interface, and only five methods were found:
1) INIT

3) GET_ERRORS

Checkboxes:check the dish in one table-it checks off ingredients in another
If you select a dish from a table of recipes (via checkbox) can you make it select all the ingredients for that dish from another table, your master ingredients list?
I think it has to do with Boolean true/false, but checkboxes seems weird to me...they dont act like normal formula cells.....
This would be really helpful for shopping/meal planning.........thanksCreate a new table .
In cell A1 grab the name of the selected dish
In column B insert formulas grabbing the required ingredients.
These formula would use the function VLOOKUP to extract the ingredients required for the dish whose name is in $A$1.
I'm not sure that checkboxes are the good tool to select the dish because it's easy to have several boxes checked in a single column.
I feel that using a popup menu would be a better soluce.
If you really want to use checkboxes, it would be good practice to create a table with a single cell containing a formula displaying an alert if more than one box is checked.

I have a requirement where I have to display all hierarchies on an infoobject to a user. The user should be able to select a particular hierarchy and download it as a flat file to a location. Can this be done using bsp?
Hi,
You can list the hierarchies of an InfoObject using table RSHIEDIR.
When the user clicks on a hierarchy name, you can get its content in an internal table using Function Module RSSH_HIERARCHY_READ.
Finally, you will have to process the internal table to send it as a flat file in HTTP response at the BSP level, so that the user can download it.

Hi Experts,
please give me some idea because I am New In BSP.
How to Download displayed output to Excel Using Bsp Application.
If any sample code please do send me.
In my condition I am getting data in 2-3 table view formats on one page and i want download that in Excel.
please help me.
Regards & Thanks,
YogeshHi,
This is more a question for the BSP forum.
Anyway, as such it's realy easy since you can use HTML in order to import to Excel. All you need to do is add
runtime->server->response->set_header_field( name = 'Contnet-Type'
value = 'application/vnd.ms-excel' ).
runtime->server->response->delete_header_field( name = 'Cache-Control' ).
runtime->server->response->delete_header_field( name = 'Expires' ).
runtime->server->response->delete_header_field( name = 'Pragma' ).
Also check threads like
Download BSP data into Excel
export bsp-table to excel

How to hide the Save Results Layout checkbox on the Create Saved Search pop
I need to hide the Save Results Layout checkbox on the Create Saved Search popup. Can anyone tell me how to do it?
This popup is used when the user is on a query (rendered by the af:query component) and they select click the "Save..." button. The have three options, Set as Default, Run Automatically, and Save Results Layout. I have an implementation that supports everything except saving the layout. So I need to hide that checkbox.
Thanks,
MikeFor anybody else who needs to do this, here is how I did it.
Add this to your css
/* This hides the Save Results Layout checkbox on the Create Saved Search screen */

How to upload and display image using bsp application
hi
I just wants to know that
1- how to upload image from BSP page with attachment into sap server .?
2-how to display image in to BSP page(webpage).
thanksHello Gupta Prashant,
Just to upload and display an image, import image in MIME repository. Not only still images but also flash files can also be uploaded in the MIME repository. Once you import the image in it, use normal html code for image call;
<img src = "file.jpg/gif" width= height=>
Besides it, if your requirement is to store the image in the database and fetch it based on specified field-name, then you have to go for BLOBs i.e Binary Large Object, using this you can also store images, videos, pdfs, applications in the database.
MBLOB - Medium BLOBs store videos and pdfs,
LBLOB - Large BLOBs store movie files and applications.
You have got 2 ways to use it; some databases store BLOB objects into themselves and some store the path of the BLOB object maintained on the FTP server.
You can also implement it in ABAP;
read the following link and practice the tutorial;
[ Use of MIME Types|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_45b/helpdata/en/f1/b4a6c4df3911d18e080000e8a48612/content.htm]
also check this
[TYPES - LOB HANDLE|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu/en/ABAPTYPES_LOB_HANDLE.htm]
And looking at your question, in order to upload an image, you can make use of FILEUPLOAD tag provided by HTMLB.
Step 1: FILEUPLOAD provides a browse button to choose desired image file.
Step 2: Store that image in database using BLOBs.
Step 3: Retrieve the image using normal select query and display it on the screen.
Hope it helps you,
Zahack -

Regards,
