Picture uopload in the solution manager using BSP

Hi Everybody I am trying to upload a employee pictures for the each user in the Solution manager using BSP. I have got some coding form the help but its not working. Kindly direct me the way I can go for the upload.

How to connect DMS to the Solution Manager

Hi,
I have a DMS system in our SAP Landscape.
I like to monitor this system in our Solution Manager.
After installation and registration of the DAA agent in the Solution Manager I can see the host,but I do not see the DMS or the SAP MAX DB.
How do I configure this?

My DMS is running on linux/unix , and I can't see any technical monitoring templates provided in Solman to monitor it.I am on SP10 for Solman 7.1.
Even if you can't setup monitoring for Content server application, you can set it up for Maxdb as described in my documents.

all the rfcs related to the oss is fine
i had maintained the user in the aisuser tcode correctly
and then i router is finly working
software component : st is 400 kernel and level is18

How the solution manager is realated to SAP BW

Hi experts!
Well!! I have been given a task to work on solution manager 4.0 and make it useful for SAP BI.
so I have a few questions.
1) Does basis person look after the config and authorizations?
2) I have been told to include the system change request ( SCR), Help desk issues into the solution manager... so how can I get that.
3) where my role starts exactly, I mean after connecting SAP BI to Solution manager,I guess this is done by BASIS person.

To answer few of ur questions,
2) you need to configure the Solution manager tool with the BI system when a ticket is raised or a change is triggered. These things will be monitored by a help desk or service desk person or a BI expersie person.
I guess your role is to implement this in ur org that means you need to create from basics such as creating business partners etc

         We already installed the new solution manager 4.0 server and IDES . Now we want to enable maintenance optimizer in our solution manager . As per one note i have to create one request as give n below .
     Create a new transport request (transaction SE09) in the source client of your Solution Manager system. Unpack the SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000.zip file from the attachment to this note. Copy the contents of the SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000.txt file into the transport request. Use transaction SCC1 to import the transport request into your Solution Manager client.
As per the above mentioned note , iam not able to attach the SOLMAN40_MOPZ_TTYP_SLMO_000.txt file in the tcode SE09 .

I have install the IDES ECC 6.0 on single machine. Now I want to install the Solution manger using MCOD. but I dont Know How to ? Will anybody guide me how to install solution manager using MCODE,

Hello Ganesh,
For installing on MCOD, the database instance should be on the same database host. For installation when you run sapinst, you should mention the database id (DBSID) for the solution manager as the ECC6 database DBSID. It will then automatically pick the installation as MCOD.
In other words, the SAP SID during the installation should be the new system ID for solution manager but the Database SID should be mentioned as the existing DBSID.

Delete the old CUA and build a new CUA on the Solution Manager

Hello together,
I'm about to delete the old CUA and build a new CUA on the Solution Manager.
The users are in multiple systems almost the same.
This raises the following questions:
If I export the printers from the old CUA in a file and import into the new CUA (Solution Manager, then the printer can be administered directly in Solman?
Furthermore, if I depended on the second or third child System and attached to the new CUA, the user description data are not overwritten, as bsp: with the description data of the last-connected system?
By delete the CUA child system in which users are blocked. Can you handle it?

-->the assignment of printers, not the printers themselves of course....

If you mean adress data, already existing adresses are not overwritten. Such users will show up in scug as 'identical' or different' and can be handled accordingly.

Users without assignement to the central system get a global lock if the cua is removed in the central system. They still exist in usr02 in the central system, but with the global lock flag as indication, that they existed only for adminstrative means. The local lock flags in the child systems stay untouched. So if you take over these users into the new CUA they get the correct lock flag form the child system.

    The reason for the exception is:
    The running ABAP program attempted to execute an Open SQL statement in

    FROM clause, either a table name after a join operator is missing, or an
     alias name after the key name "AS". The field "TABLE_NAME" could be empty as
    well.

The detection of short dump in the Solution Manager

Hi,
In my project, Batch are processing every night In the CRM system.
IF any error was occurred, alert email will be sent by the system, however,
when the "short dump" was occurred unexpectedly,the system can't detect it and email was not able to be sent.
Therefore I want to detect the "short dump" in the "Solution Manager".
Who can tell me that Is there any standard service/function which can handle this in the "Solution Manager" ?

VC deployed on the Solution Manager 4.0 J2EE

Dear All,
I have just deployed the Visual Composer on the Solution Manager 4.0 J2EE, this version is based on a 7.0 basis.
Have you ever done something like this? maybe on any other SAP Netweaver 2004s solution.
Does it works properly ?

Yes, I've installed the VC. However, when I ran the installation, I needed to install the VC onto a portal, and a portal specifically. The VC is additional functionality, yes, but apparently needs the components provided by a portal installation to work correctly.
Do you have a portal available? If the J2EE stack attached to the SOLMAN is only a base J2EE stack, this may not work correctly.

If can find the same at service market place www.service.sap.com/swdc>Click on tab Installation and Upgrades>click on A-Z Index>Right side colum click on S>now select solution Manager,there you can find the list of softwares you are looking for.
