Display Amounts for Region "not assigned" in Query

Hi,
I have created variables for "Region" that assinn all EAST values to EAST and WEST to WEST. I would however like to assign all values that does not have an assigned region to another variable or character. How can I do this in the query?

Please explain your problem in detail.
What I get from it: you want to display blank values of key figure with some 'not assigned' text. For this you can use value display property of query to dispaly zeros as soem default text.

there have been several posts concerning this topic. As Saad told there is no direct way within SAP standard to reach this aim.

Still some 'Not Assigned' in query result

Hi,
In fact, I've built a query on a multiprovider ( 1 Cube + 1 ODS )
The ODS and the Cube are joined by the material (0material).
The Cube and the ODS are well filled. Queries on each Infoprovider correctly display the results.
When I launch my query on the Multiprovider, it seems the "joined" between the 2 infoproviders doesn't work as
I've still some '#' / 'Not Assigned' value in the query result, and it should give me a result.
In fact the data from the ODS aren't retrieved, they are replaced by '#'. And I don't why ?
Please help.

Yes you are right.
I made a mistake in my explanation.
But the problem is that the characteristics from the ODS aren't displayed though the characteristic from the cube are correctly displayed.
eg.
In the ODS I've :
( Material, ZCHAR )
'ART01' '315'
'ART02' '412'
'ART03' '999'
In my Cube I've :
'ART01' '12,36' '59,00' '30 ST'
'ART02' '12,96' '89,00' '40 ST'
In the query(on the multiprovider) result I've :
( Material, ZCHAR, other values...)
'ART01' '#' 'Not assigned' '12,36' '59,00' '30 ST'

Nominal amount for derivative not found

Hi guys!
I have a problem in hedge management.
Under hedging relationship tab, when i click the purchase(buy) transaction processed in ZTR006, error "Nominal amount for derivative 19248(1010) not determined" occurs.
This error appears only for all purchase transaction posted having both negative values.
Can you advice how to avoid this error?

Lightroom displays request for region and serial number on first run

Photoshop Lightroom CC Mac displays a region request, then shows a serial number (not our CC serial number) on first run for every user. How do I stop this happening and will Adobe fix this behaviour?

The easiest solution is to run these two commands after installing Lightroom 5:
defaults write /System/Library/User\ Template/English.lproj/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom5 firstLaunchHasRun30 -bool true
defaults write /System/Library/User\ Template/English.lproj/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom5 RegistrationField_CountryRegion -string 1
This sets the two needed default prefs that will get copied to each new user that logs in.
This assums you are installing via the pkg created with CCP.
You can also write these settings to the global Library/Preferences folder for users that already have accounts on the machine, if needed.
defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom5 firstLaunchHasRun30 -bool true
defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.adobe.Lightroom5 RegistrationField_CountryRegion -string 1

Display Help for Field not referred through Data Elements in ALV

Hi,
I am working on a report program where the output is in ALV_LIST display format.The internal table used to define the field catalog contains fields that are not declared using Data elements.For these fields, when i press F1 from the output, the message I receive is 'No Document Available'.Can someone tell me how I can attach a help document to these fields without creating a new data element for each of these fields....
For eg : My internal table that forms the field catalog is
Data : Begin of i_itab occurs 0,
         matnr like mara-matnr,
         Name(50),
         end of i_itab.
When this table is displayed in ALV, if F1 is pressed on the field matnr the corresponding dictionary help pops out.But since the field Name has no help document attached to it, i cannot view any help for this..Kindly tell me how i can attach my own help document to this field.

Hi,
This issue was solved using the followiing steps.
1. There is a parameter 'IT_EVENT_EXIT 'in the FM REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY or REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY.
2.Set the value of the field of this paramter as
EXIT-UCOMM= '&ELP' " F1
EXIT-BEFORE = 'X'
This will make the control go directly to the user command functio written inside the program rather than the standard SAP define duser command....
3. Inside the perform -usercommand in the ALV program use the FM HELP_DOCULINES_SHOW to show the appropriate help document
This method may be used to display help text for those fields/columns in the ALV which are not referred to the fields/data elements in the data dictionary tabel

Display attribute incorrectly reported as "not assigned" in BEX Analyser

Hi SCN
I have a simple BEX query on a master data infoobject which displays the object key and several display attributes. One of the attributes is often reported incorrectly as "not assigned" although the behaviour is erratic and can sometimes be correct from day to day. I have checked the master data table and there should be a value ... when I run the report in RSRT, the attribute is correctly reported !
I have checked the infoobject in RSRV for errors (all lights are green), deleted the cache and set the report to not use caching in RSRT but the attribute is still frequently "not assigned"
all very weird ... any thoughts ?

Item not assign in standard liquidity planner

Hello to you all.
I am using liquidity planner in the standard way without any developing.
Once I used Tcode FLQQD7 - Test Query to check my setting of the Assignment from Invoices, the document was assign to the correct item.
Once I used Tcode FLQAD - From Invoices to actual assign it, I was surprised that the system couldn't find the document at all.
I will appreciate your advise.

probably this Document is not present in LP tables(FLQITEM*) as it does not have an actual account Line.
So FLQAD doesnot capture this Document.
Let me explain with an example how the assignment program FLQAC and FLQQC7 works,
Assume Liquidity item for Info be assigned through query as Q1.
Doc1
Actual account : 100
Info account : 100-
Now when you run FLQQC7 for this Doc,then you will notice 2 Lines for same Doc with no Liquidity item for the Line item with actual account and Liquidity item Q1 being assigned for the Line item with info account.FLQQC7 just projects the LI assigned for the account in the Doc.
Now when you run FLQAC for the same Doc,then the amount 100 will be assigned to the Liquidity item Q1.You will notice only 1 Line. This implies that the amount from actual account is ASSIGNED to the LI Q1.
Now if have cleared the Info line in Doc1 with another Doc,for eg, Doc2,
Info account :100
Info account1:100-
Then FLQAC will have assigned the amount 100 to LI for the info account1.
This implies that the amount from actual account is assigned the info account1.
And you should use the FLQQC7 to info account1 and check it is the same LI as FLQAC and not for the info account1 in Doc1. This is how FLQQC7 should be used.
But in your case you have marked the gl accounts as actual and also as Info through query.
When you run FLQQC7 and FLQAC for the Doc with such accounts, for Eg:
Actual1 : 100
Acutal2 : 100-
This Doc is just a Bank transfer Doc. So when you run FLQAC for such Docs,you will notice the amounts assigned to transfer LI assigned in FLQC2.
But when you FLQQC7(Note that both the Docs are assigned a LI in query), you will notice that the LI assigned in query is assigned to those accounts in Query.
To test query assignment is working correctly,I would suggest you to post a Doc as the First example.
And assign LI through query for the Info account only.Then RUN FLQQC7 for the info account in the Doc.
Then Run FLQAC for the same Doc.The assignment program should also have assigned the same LI as in FLQQC7.
If so then query assignment is working fine.
Also I would suggest you to read the note 412605 on how the Liquidity planner should be used.

We need to build the URL that is calling a query with a filter value = #.
We need to query only those records that have "Not Assigned" in a particular Infoobject.

Info Record - Error Message "Company Code not assigned to Country"

Hi,
I am a beginner in SAP MM.
I am trying to Create an Info Record(ME11). After enter the material, Purchase Org., and Storage Location. While saving the data error message is being displayed as "Company Code not assigned to Country".
Please let me know the reason for this error.

Hi Vinod,
The error might because of few SPRO setting are missing about the Company Code, (to which your Material/ plant/ P. Org. of your Info record are assigned/ maintained)

Value is displayed as -* for some cells though it has value

Hello
I have one report in which I am displaying amount for each cost center
(Hierarchy has been activated for cost center)
In report, for some cells it is displaying correct values for amount but for some cells it is displaying -*
but when I select on the same cell then I can see value for that cell in formula bar, but -* in the cell
hope I am clear
Please suggest any way to display values in all of the cells

Hi,
You need to use currency conversion.
If you dont find a standard convertion formula available then you need to write your code for converting all currencies to INR.
Also check other SDN posts for currency conversion.
You are bound to find something.

I need to create a query on not assigned costelement hierarchy and broadcast the output through E-mail.
The query I created, displays the not assigned costelements under a separate node (filtered in query as #) but the problem is that the not assigned cost elements appear as u201C#u201D.
I want to get the details of these not assigned cost elements i.e. the query should display which cost elements are not assigned in the hierarchy. I couldnu2019t find the node REST_H (which I believe is created automatically for not assigned elements) in my hierarchy. How do I display the not assigned costelements in my query ?
One way I could think of is to compare the master data table and the hierarchy table of the InfoObject 0Costelement. The entries which are present in the master data table but not in the hierarchy tables are the unassigned costelements I am looking for.
Any standard way or a much simpler way of achieving this ?

But the option "Suppress 'Unassigned' Node" is used to either display not-assigned node or not.
But my requirement is to mandatorily display not-assigned node with the "DETAILS" of not-assigned costelements. I believe that by default the not-assigned costelement appears as # in the query. I want the details...i.e. which costelements are not-assigned.

Hi,
But I believe this setting "Suppress Unassigned nodes" is used to show or hide the unassigned node in the query. It has nothing to do with the display of # value or the actual unassigned costelements.
I want to get the "DETAILS" of the unassigned costelements which are appearing as # in the query.

Removing Not Assigned from the query

Hi,
I have one query, in which the data is displayed as shown below
Country         City          Amount
India           Mumbai        10000
                Delhi         10000
US              Los Angeles   20000
                New York      30000
Not Assigned    Sydney        80000
If I sort/descending on the Amount, I will get Sydney as a top. But the moment, I remove the city from the query, my output is displaying as mentioned below
Country        Amount
Not Assigned   80000
US             50000
India          20000
I need the help in displaying the output as mentioned below. (Basically, instead of Not Assigned, Syndey
should be displayed)
Country        Amount
Syndey            80000
US             50000
India          20000
Please help if any code / formula needs to be written, to acheive the above result.

This can be acheived if you can save this query as a workbook and writing Excel Formulas.
You have to Insert a column and wirte a Formula like
( I am assuming column B is country and A is City and you have inserted column is A and the formula you are writing in the 10th row)
= IF(B10= "Not Assigned",C10,B10)
copy this formula to all the rows for the column A.
Now based on this column you can sort your report.(Excel sort).
Save the workbook.

In our BW reports "Not Assigned" ( # ) values are getting displayed with keyfigure values 0.
Is there any way to avoid this??

Hi,
If you are using the web analyzer, you can include the following javascript code in the web template. As for key figures, in the query properties select "Show Zero As" value for "Zero Value Display" field and leave "Show Zero As" field blank.
