Display dynamic array values

Hi !
All I just want to do is to look for a bean value stored into an array, dynamically.
The final code should be something like :
<% for( int i = 0; i < 10; i++ ) { %>
    <h:outputText value="#{foo.bar[<%=i%>]}" />
<% } %>Obviously this doesn't work, but how is it possible to make it work ? ^^

Ok, actually it doesn't work at all...
From Oracle ADF Faces FAQ :
ADF Faces tags can be used inside of the < af:forEach > tag (it is, unfortunately, not possible to support standard tags inside < af:forEach > ).
It appears it's the same issue as with JSTL...
Does anybody know another way to do that ?
Is it really impossible to include code like <%= i %> ??
Is it simply impossible to do what i want...

    Apologize for not formatting the code. I used the status.index the code as suggested. The code if more efficient but the results are the same and I still have the same problem.

  • What is the best way to display different array values to appropriate indicators?

    I am using DAQmx Read vi and its output is an array. I need a way to pass each value to an appropriate front panel indicator, so I can monitor each sensor. I tried using "Index Array" and passing the array element to the indicators but it looks sloppy. Is there a more professional way? Thanks!

    Try using the Array to Cluster function in the Cluster subpallet. If you put all of your indicators in the same cluster on your front panel, you can then pass the array data to this function and then pass it directly to the cluster without having to index the array.

  • BEx Web Application Designer - Info Field - Display Static Filter Values

    Hi there,
    I'm not sure if anyone is having the same issue I am having... but here goes.
    I have the option DISPLAY STATIS FILTER VALUES turned on in my 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN & 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN_EXPORT web print templates for printing to PDFs from the Query Designer.
    - If I have it turned on, all the filters (including the dynamic) are displayed with about 4 rows of empty space between each line.
    - If I have it turned off, the dynamic filters are displayed normally.
    Does anyone know how to affect the font and spacing of this setting?
    Note:  As it is the the standard print template, I can't add the perameters of which filter to display.
    Please let me know if you have any ideas.

    Help to your answer I could understand my mistake. I was customizing the Data Binding part instead of the Internal Display.
    I did the following :
    [ ]Display Static Filter Values
    [ ]Display Genertal Text Elements
    [ ]Display Dynamic Filter Values
    [x]Display Variables
    [ ] Only Variable with values
    And it is working now.
    FYI: no need to uninstall and reinstall the Bex tools, it worked directly with the latest patch.

    I have a small Flash movie I'm trying to complete, it's my
    first go around with Flash 8 so I appreciate your patience:
    I built an array with some actionscript which seems to work
    fine (I can trace it and all is well in the trace window). Now I'm
    simply trying to display it to my Flash movie screen and I've built
    a dynamic text window which is working, except that I only ever get
    the last array element to appear in the dynamic text window. I've
    traced the code and see all of my array values, but when I use
    "myResults_txt.text=picker_array;" I only see the last position's
    value in my array. I tried playing with the "multiline" attribute
    for the text field, it didn't seem to make any difference.
    I'm sure it's probably something silly that I've missed, but
    how do you display an array, with all of it's values to a dynamic
    text field (I even tried using the textArea component but ran into
    the same problem).

    Thanks for your input. I tried just about everything but
    ended up re-writing the contents of the array to a var and looping
    through the var. Not my first choice but it got me to done.

  • Full Display Of a(n) (dynamic) Array

    Hello.
    I need to automatically display all the values of an array.
    E.g.: let's consider the array below:
    After execution, I have a 5x5 array, but because of arrays default options, all I can see is the first element (Array[0] [0])
    unless I intentionally extend it to 5X5.
    Besides, Array should normally be dynamic (here I made it static with 5x5 loops, for the illustration); so if the number of loops increases, I will have to extend it again to display the full array.
    Out of concern for monitoring, how can I make this all automatic?

    The Matrix Size comes in handy here.  I fully agree with Norbert that you really need to limit how large the display will be.  Another option is to just size it to the maximum size you can show and just let the values fill in as it can.

    The requirement that I have is that there are two columns in an internal table out of which second one is a listbox.
    There is a need of displaying dynamic values in a row in a listbox according to value entered in first column of the same row, not affecting the listbox values in other rows.
    I am using VRM_SET_VALUES for populating listbox, but it results in populating the listbox in all other rows also.

    I am implemeting something like that.
    I have a input text that works like a filter and depends on what my user types in input text I populate my table with some information.
    In order to do that, I put in my JSP a div with an Id and I used ajax, like that:

    Try this.
    1, Set one dynamic parameter,
    2, Drag and drop that parameter into  your report title.
    3, Pass the value(sort value) dynamically from your application,
    4, Cheers..
    Other wise Try with Dataset, create a dataset and fill thev alue into that.. Then  set the data source from CR designer. and darg and drop that data column into the report.

  • Populating a dynamic array with objects and managing it in runtime.

    So I'm another stuck firstyear. I'll try and make my question compact. I'm using Flash CS6 and have drawn an animated character on the stage that consists of separate parts that are animated and its head is a separate class/symbol entirely because it has not only animation, but a state switch timeline as well. This said Head extends the Main that is the character MovieClip.
    I am using a dynamic array to store and .push and .splice objects of another class that would collide with this said Head.
    I also discovered the super() function that is implicitly called as the constructor of the parent in any child class that extends the parent, in this case Head extends Main. The issue is that my collidable object array is populated within the main, within the function that spawns every next collidable object with a TimerEvent. This said function then gets called twice due to the super() call.
    I have tried putting this super() call into an impossible statement in my child class, but it doesn't change a thing, and it was said that this method is unsafe so I don't even know if it should be working.
    However what confuses me the most is when I trace() the .length of my collidable object array at the end of that function. As I said earlier, the original function both spawns an object after a period of Timer(1000) and adds it to the stage as well as adds the object onto the object array, but the super() constructor only duplicates the length call and a creates a copy of the object on the stage, but it does not add the second copy of the object onto the array. The trace() output goes on like so:

    I wonder why and I'm really stumped by this.

    I am also fiddling with the collision, but I believe that it would sort itself out when I deal with the array pop and depop properly. However I'm pasting it anyway in case the issue is subtly hidden somewhere I'm not looking for it. And here is the child class:

    So like what happens at the moment is that the array gets populated by the first object that spawns, but there is two objects on the stage, then when the objects reach stage.460y mark the array splices() the one object away and displays an error:
    "#1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
              at Main/snowhit()"
    then when the next object spawns, it repeats the process. Why does it trace the array.length as "1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, etc" until the despawn point and then goes on to display an error and then starts from 1 again, because if the array length is more than one object at the time when the first object of the array gets spliced away, shouldn't it go on as usual, since there are other objects in the array?

    There are multiple problems:
    1. You should add eventlisteners for your objects only once, but you add eventlisteners every time your timer runs to all of your snowflakes, again and again:
