Display Report in Object currency

Hi all,
Report created by report painter, object currency(EUR), but report shows the values in controlling area currency(SEK).How can the values be seen in object currency in the report?
Thank you.

If it is a cost element report, then you can set the object currency as default in RPP0. If it is heirarchy reports, then you can use Settings>Currency inside the report, but you have to mention the currency here.

We have alredy referred to existing threds but the client requirement is sligtly different. The object currency should be displayed in report. Presently the report displyed in controlling area currency.
Let me explain in detail, in report we have different co area currency, transaction currency & object currency. Now the report displayes the values in co area currency but actually at selection screen we are giving object currency. Why report displayed in co area currency? We can chage the currency through currency translation but it is applicable for perticular project. Client requirement is report should automatically pick object currency in disply.

CN41 report display in Object Currency

Hi
Drill down to cost overview of CN41 on top menu (Go to > Structure Overview > Cost Overview). Once you are into that overview, click on 2nd symbol from left (Currency translation or Ctrl + shift + f4). Here you can change the currency as per the Co code currency.
But it will need manual intervention to translate to reqd currency and may be you can save as variant also

Cost budget report in local currency

Hello all,
I would like to use a statistical project to link maintenance costs to a budget that is maintained in PS. The functionality is all there. i'm now trying to find a proper report.
Currently I'm doubting between 2 options:
Option 1:
CJ30: budgetting in object currency
CJE0: reporting in Controling area currency. Translate to certain currency.
Problem: This always leeds to conversion issues:
budgetted 10000 ---> report shows 9940.
actual cost: 9000 -
> report shows 8340
Option 2:
CJ40 for planning on costelement level
S_ALR_87013543 in object currency
Problem: CJ40 is planned in Controling area currency
What I want is the following:
CJ30 or CJ40 in object currency
Report in object currency where.
Does anybody have an idea how to handle this?

I have added the selection characteristic object currency in the characteristic tab, but that's not working. Ca you maybe gvie some more specific tips or if you have a certain link where i can find more details about configuration of a report?

Residual order plan not calculated, in Object Currency for report 12KST1C

Hello everybody,
I have a question related to PS report painter Costs reports.
I have created a form by copying the 12KST1C standard form, and I needed to create it, in order to change it and display the data (Costs, actual, commitment and so on) in Object currency, instead of CO Area Currency.
The CO Area currency is USD and I need the reports in ARS (Argentinean Pesos)since the project objects (WBS elements, activities, etc) are in ARS too and I do not want to make a currency convertion to a specific date.
So I created the Z12KST1C and change the ratios of the columns to Object Currency.
The problem is that the Remaining order plan or Residual Order plan column, which is calculated at the runtime of the report is not showing any amount, while when I run the report in CO Area currency it shows the amount OK.
I would like to know if that column (Residual Order plan) is only calculated in CO Area currency, or If I have to make adjustements to my form. Any ideas???
I have read several SAP notes like 668240 (2 F) but I still do not see that amount calculated in Object currency.

Subject: Displaying key figures without currency unit in BEX reports

Hello,
Is it possible to display key figures without currency unit in BEx reports? For example; Material Costs 1000 EUR
should be shown as 1000. Currency unit EUR and also scaling factor (*1000 EUR) does not interest us.
When we use display options in query properties, we just see an option of displaying key figures with/without scaling factors, which does not solve our problem.

Bex to Business Objects - Currency Conversion error in Webi

Hello,
I am attempting to transfer a Bex 7 key figure currency conversion to a Business Objects filter in a Universe for display in a Webi report. The version of Business Objects XI 3.1 SP2. The Bex Conversion Type is based off Calendar Month, and the Target Currency variable is a selection prompt. The filter is passed to the universe and prompts when the report is ran in Webi, but an error occurs if the currency is populated. For instance, if I populate the filter in Webi with 'USD', the following error occurs: The MDS query SELECT "....." failed to execute with the error Value 'USD' FOR variable "Currency" is invalid (WIS 10901).
I'm not sure if the currency conversion information is being properly transferred and translated to Business Objects. Does anyone have any insight on this issue?

I was able to modify the dimension for the filter to retrieve the correct object (Ex. USD), but there are multiple incorrect selections for USD and other currency types. For instance, when I type in USD i get 5 different options, and the one with the description 'American Dollar' is the correct one. Why is Webi displaying all these different options? When I display the options for currency in Bex only one 'USD' is shown in the list. Here is my filter condition for currency type in the Universe:

Hi All,
I have a cashflow report which has multiple currencies and has Actuals & Planned values. This report needs to be displayed in local currency or object currency.
Is their a way to convert the values into object currency.

Make sure you have liked the Doc currency or local currency as required at the transformation level.
check if you need to do the Currecy Coversion in T.code RSCUR where you define the source and target Currency and the date /ifoobject on which the currency coversion needs to be created.
If you define a Currency conversion in RSCUR, Create a variable for the corresponding info objects and Use it in corresponding Keyfigure by going into key figure properties and the one you defined in RSCUR will be displayed under Currency Conversio and select that one.

Field Object Currency in Cycle-Header

Hello,
I wrote a report to migrate cycles.
In the cycle header there is a field "object currency".
does anybody know to which table (T811? ) this field belongs?
I thought T811C, but cannot find it.

Hi Sumant,
This is system default, you can't do any financial activity without Currency, and Company Code, there is no setting or configuration available to make these field optional, irrespective of any fields Status group.
You need to think, what you can do with out Company Code, and company code is organizational unit of Financial Accounting for which a complete self-contained set of accounts can be drawn up for purposes of external reporting.
This includes recording of all relevant transactions and generating all supporting documents required for financial statements, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements. So you cannot enter data in SAP without company code and currency, this is system default.
However some field status can be control, read below:
- you can control field status for Master data (Customer T.Code OBD2, Vendor T.code OBD3, and GL Account T.code OBD4) through Account Groups, and for master data you have four options i.e. Suppress, Required, Optional and Display.
- You can control transaction field by Field Status Group, and Field Status group Posting Keys T.code OB41, here you have three options i.e. Suppress, Required Field and Optiional.
- Document header text, or reference field you can set mandatory from document type, T.code OBA7

Report in diffrent currency- internal Order

Hi,
I have created internal order, and by using KPF 6 to put the phased budgets in GBP Currency into the system, when i use report s_alr_87012993 Orders: Actual/ Plan/Variance report the report is showing in EUR (Which is controlling area currency).
Can you please let me know how can I extract the report in the currency which was entered (GBP)?

Unfortunately there is no report for internal orders, which gives plan data in object / transaction currency. Plan data is reported in controlling area currency.
To take care of your requirement you will have to create a report using report painter, which will give you plan data in object currency.
The method suggested by JeCcas_DJ will not give origanal plan amounts but will give you translation.

Error When Displaying report Crystal Reports 10

Show report in different currency depending on user parameter

hi all,
i'm trying to show my report in different currency, depending on users given parameter.
i hold my account balance in USD based. User should select one parameter, in which currency they want to see their account balance. (e.g. EURO, GBP ...) and depending on their selection, i want to convert USD based info into chosen currency, by fetching field from currency table and making some calculation.
also i want to include in report currency($, Â£ ...) accordingly ().
how can i achieve this, has somebody any suggestion to me?

i think i need to explain my problem more detailed. anyone who has suggestion, please help me.
i have 3 tables account, times and currency.
- times table has time_key, date, day_of_week fields.
- account table has - account_balance and time_key_FK fields.
- currency table has currency_type, amount, time_key_FK fields.
1. i have function decode(:Currency,'USD',account_balance,'EURO',--here i want to replace my calculation CALC1---)
CALC1- this calculation need to some calculation like this: account_balance * (fetched field from this sql)(select amount from currency, account where currency.currency_type='EURO' and account.time_key_FK=currency.time_key_FK)
i tried to do this, but discoverer plus doesn't let me make condition and calc. i'm very confused.
2. after i achieve this query, somehow i want to display on worksheet on which currency is it based. can i get parameter value, and show this value as in column heading?
